Holy Sage, Cosmic Sorcerer (Spellcaster 'Boss' monster)

Hey guys,

I changed this card using Galkin's suggestions (thanks!). It's easier to pull off now, on the other hand I hope it isn't OP with the new effect. I just wanted to create an absolute Spellcaster 'boss', but the first version was too hard to pull off (3 Level 9 Spellcasters for it's Xyz Summon). B)

Any further feedback would be appreciated!

Here is the new effect:

2 Level 8 'Spellcaster'-type monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 5 or higher 'Spellcaster'-type Xyz monster you control as the Xyz Material (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card). The Summon of this card cannot be negated. This face-up card cannot be targeted by card effects. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to Special Summon or Set that detached card (this is a Quick Effect). Monsters which have been Special Summoned by the effect of this card gain the following effect: ''The Summon of this card cannot be negated. When this card is Special Summoned: Draw 1 card.''

You have any idea how hard this is to get out? Only with World of Prophecy could you even hope to get this card out and to do that, you need to NOT use her effect. The other cards are hard enough to get out without needing more than 1 out. The summoning requirements are enough to call this card Larvae Moth-tier. I think Horakhty is easier to get out than this card presently.

But, let's assume you do get this card out, it isn't worth it. It let's you draw 2 cards once, then is nothing more than a 4200 ATK beatstick with destruction immunity. Target immunity is often a way better form of protection, mainly because it means its effect can't be negated by cards such as Forbidden Chalice or get bounced back to the Extra Deck or, even worse, banished. All of which, this card is vulnerable to. As far as being a destruction immune beatstick, even it is outclassed. "Beelze of the Diabolical Dragon" is way better in terms of actual effect, not considering its summoning requirements.

With all that said, I highly recommend to loosening up the summoning restrictions and changing its protection to a target immunity rather than a destruction immunity.

*Also, I know you said don't take the card too seriously, but being Realistic Cards section, you do have to take it a bit serious.

Thanks for the feedback!

First, I want this card to belong to the 'Realistic Cards' section, but found the Summoning conditions to be so hard that this card isn't really Summon-able. You're absolutely right when saying that this card isn't worth the Summon, so I'll change both the effect and the Summoning conditions to be more realistic. The target immunity is a great idea, I didn't even consider it before and I am going to replace the destruction immunity.

I just looked up Horakhty - it's easier to pull off indeed.

I think I'll change the Summoning conditions to 2 or 3 level 8 Spellcasters or something similar...

Thanks for your suggestions!
