When this card is Normal Summoned: You can pay 1000 Life Points: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower WIND monster (from your Graveyard). It cannot attack and its effects are negated. If this card is in your Graveyard: You can banish this card along with 1 Level 4 or lower WIND monster in your Graveyard; Synchro Summon 1 WIND monster from your Extra Deck whose Level equals the total Levels of the banished monsters. That monster's effects are negated. You can only activate one effect of "Summoner of the Dancing Petals" per turn, and only once that turn.

As the title suggests, it's Synchro support for WIND monsters. Essentially, it allows you to set up for a quick Level 5-8 Synchro (possibly 9 and higher if you have prior setup) or an Xyz. The second effect is similar to Blackwing Vayu in the sense that you can go into another Synchro from the grave; however the last effect [limitation] only allows you to activate one of her effects per turn; meaning that if you choose to banish this card in the graveyard, you cannot use the effect of another Summoner on the field to SS a monster [however you can use it to Synchro/Xyz normally if you have the proper materials].

I think the wording is off a bit on the limitation effect. You should only be able to trigger one of its effects per turn; regardless if you banish it or SS from the grave. This is to address the problems with duplicate copies.

This can set up Xyz plays to some extent, though this is mainly for Synchro usage.

EDIT LOG:

- Added a LP cost to the SS effect

- SS effect triggers on Normal Summon only

- Restricted to WIND monsters.

With that said, CnC/fix OCG/love/hate, etc.

Reps will be given to members who provide good/comprehensive reviews (in other words, those who follow the Advanced Clause in this section)

Thank you.

It is an interesting card, but I think needs a bit of balance to prevent abuse.

First of all, keeping this monster (by means of Safe Zone, for example) in field gives too great of a reward since you can revive once and again. This can be easily fixed making her effect trigger upon normal summon.

The vayu effect is outright broken. I would consider negating the effects of the monster summoned this way.

And at last I would make it so you can only make WIND synchros with this card, either with the Vayu effect or through normal means. If you are worried that this will hinder the playability of the card, just look at the scope of what can be summoned: Stardust Dragon is the most obvious choice, and it is accessible to any deck playing level 4 WIND monsters (Harpies, Mecha Phantom Beasts, etc); Orient Dragon is another great choice; Mist Valley players will see this card as a godsend as it can summon Mist Valley Thunder Lord targeting Thunderbird; and Gustos will have easier access to their scopes of Synchros (though I'm not sure if that is what they need after the release of Kamui).

Keep up the good work! ;)

It's a Wolfbark for Wind monsters, which is nice. The cost is laughable, but at least it has one, unlike Wolfbark. The only problem I have with it is the Vayu effect. The wording is weird. It seems like it would let you summon any Synchro. You should add a restriction, like the level of the Synchro has to be the level of the monsters that were banished, or that it only can summon Wind Synchros, it also needs to negate the effect. I would recommend the Level restriction because the Attribute restriction let's you summon Shooting Star Dragon or Majestic Star Dragon out of nowhere, which is really bad. Also, make it Special Summon the monster from your Extra, and the Special Summon is treated as a Synchro Summon. The last part of the effect is fine, since that's the way Dragon Rulers are worded.

Effect of the SS monster are now negated + Attribute restriction on the monsters.

I added a cost shortly afterwards, though I wondered if the attacking lock would be overkill with it [might not have mattered; since you're either going to Synchro/Xyz with it anyway]. Negating the effect will also be added.

It should be obvious that you're only able to Synchro Summon a 2 material monster whose Levels equal the sum of this card and whatever else you banished. Shooting Star still requires the Tuner Synchro component and Stardust as usual [not just banish this and some random Level 6 non-Tuner]. I think it was already mentioned in the effect that it SS from the Extra.

In short, let's make the Synchro Summoning thing clear (you can't go into SSD/Majestic Star with this card) and negate the effect of the summoned monster. But adding a Level 4 or lower thing does work as well; until proper wording for the original intent can be found.

Anyway, thanks to both of you for commenting/CnC.

Thanks for the kind words ^^

I'm with Wizard in that the level aclaration should be added. See Vayu for reference.

I'm truly satisfied with how has the card turned out. I'm looking forward to see new cards ;)

The wording on Vayu is somewhat old now, but added that part in for clarity. Assuming Vayu/Urgent Tuning come out in the 5Ds Legendary Collection or something (latter is what I had it worded as); we'll see what their new wording in PSCT will be.

Updating the card now.

Any more comments though?
