Chthonian Hound | Fixed?

Well it's sure been a while, but I've finally decided to return to this site from being absent.
And what better way then some new cards!... Which I'm currently working on.
But until that time, please enjoy this card!

This card is also treated as a Beast-Type monster. When this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: while this card remains in your Graveyard; decrease the ATK and DEF of your opponents monster by their Level or Rank x 100. If this card is send from the field to the Graveyard for the Special Summon of a monster: That monster gains the following effect: - Once per turn, during either player's turn: Increase this card's ATK by the total difference between your opponent's monster's original ATK and their current ATK, until the End Phase

This is actually based on a REALLY old card of mine. FYI.
Anywho, the idea behind this card is really simple, to weaken your opponents monsters in a "Burden of the Mighty" esc matter and your opp can only get rid of it by banishing/bouncing it.
Can be used alongside "Ragna Infinity" or just to weaken potential threats.

EDIT1: It's fixed(?) so that it's effect activates as long as it hits the Grave from the field. Also I added a reason so that the decrease can be useful 'on its own' and hopefully making it less generic. Also switched up its types, so that it can use the Zombie support.
I might have broke it though...

It's terrible .~.

It's overrestricted for a mediocre effect. Not to mention "or being destroyed" is unneeded wording.

It adds nothing to playing and just serves to be a minor nuisance that most decks have an answer to modern day in some shape or form. Even the good ghostrick builds have an out.

It's just pack filler, at best, and it really isn't even an original design. It's just a poor design all around.

It needs to have some sort of reason you want them to kill it. Like, idk, making it draw a card ala trooper when it dies would hardly break it. The fact you can't Masked Chameleon it without ruining its effect also seems dumb.

How about simple-for-better?

Zombie/Effect

Cannot be Special Summoned. If this card was destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effects) and sent to the Graveyard, this effect activates at the start of each of your opponent's Battle Phases: Decrease the ATK and DEF of all monsters your opponent controls by 400, until your next End Phase. This card must be in the Graveyard to activate and to resolve this effect.

Then you should have seen the original card. XD... Ehem.

Ah, I had a feeling some of my OCG skills where outdated...

Well it was to be an upgraded "Burden of the Mighty", which would also be considered the same I guess. Personally I though it might help in some Decks like (as said above) "Ragna Infinity" Decks, or perhaps in Decks that run low ATK mons.

I presume you mean it's effect is too generic?

Hmmm, I will see what I can do to improve it then. Thank you for your input.

Idk, it seems even worse imo. Though thanks for the suggestion.
