There was a time when dragons roamed the Earth, living in harmony with humans. However, all good things come to an end. No one could say which side started it. It could have been both at the same time, but a conflict broke out between humanity and dragonkind. The dragons were arrogant and disorganized, however, and fought amongst themselves, while the humans in their corporal weakness, learned wisdom and magic and, after a long war, triumphed, sealing the dragons away in another dimension where they slept for thousands of years. Though quite a few avoided the initial sealing, they were hunted down over the centuries, the last of them disappearing around the 15th century.

Flash forwards to the present, when magic and dragons have been reduced to naught but fairy tales meant to entertain children. In this transient universe, not even the strongest magic stands against the tests of time. The dimensional seal slowly began to crumble. Dragons, in their human forms, have began to appear all over the world, especially in areas where humans, their captors, are gathered. One of such great gatherings is none other than New York City.

You are a dragon, arrived in New York City, or its outskirts, stark naked with arcane sigils marked across your skin, sealing your draconic form. How will you survive in this new world which you know nothing of?

Meanwhile, in the shadows, an organization gathers. It has been waiting thousands of years for this moment, when the dragons have returned. With influence across the globe and in high places, they are relentless in their pursuit. Their goal is none other than to hunt the dragons who have escaped their ethereal prison. You, armed with nothing but your wits and your slowly returning draconic powers, are to face off the might of thousands of years of human advancement.

In this RP you can be any sort of mythological Dragon, but you are forced to live amongst humans, for the time being at least. Will you attempt to live an ordinary life, or will you abuse your immense draconic strength?

tl;dr You get to be a f***ing dragon in modern day and do s***.

You can choose whether you arrived in the human world at the RP start, or some time before that. Maximum one month prior to RP start.
Commonly known to people from out of town as The Big Apple, New York is one of the largest, most populous, and most diverse cities on planet earth. Lauded as the economic and cultural center of the modern world, New York is home to roughly 8 and a half million people of every conceivable ethnicity and culture. In addition, almost any service or activity conceivable (illegal or not) can be found within the city to one degree or another.

Geographically, New York is similar to any other large city. Skyscrapers, concrete, etc. What makes NY stand out is its unique architecture and its extensive mass transit system composed of subways, ferries, buses, and taxicabs. Its very easy for one to get from one part of town to another, assuming they have some cash on hand. Being a large city, New York's climate is a decent measure warmer in general than the norm for the region. That isn't to say that the city is warm at all times of the year, however. In general, NY experiances what is known as a Humid Subtropical Climate, meaning varied, semi-mild temperatures and a good measure of precipitation. Winters in NY are cold and damp, with frequent storms (both rain and snow) and a good deal of wind chill due to the city's wind-tunnel effect. Summers are hot and humid, though its the humidity that makes high temperatures hard to cope with rather than the temperatures themselves.

Due to its large size, New York is divided into five boroughs, with each borough being home to its own municipality (though all are subordinate to the central governmental body). As there is no way i could do them as much justice, here is Wikipedia's overview of the five boroughs.

New York City is composed of five boroughs. Each borough is coextensive with a respective county of New York State as shown below.
Throughout the boroughs there are hundreds of distinct neighborhoods, many with a definable history and character to call their own. If the boroughs were each independent cities, four of the boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and The Bronx) would be among the ten most populous cities in the United States.
 • Manhattan (New York County) is the most densely populated borough and is home to Central Park and most of the city's skyscrapers. Most of the borough is on Manhattan Island, at the mouth of the Hudson River. Manhattan is the financial center of the city and contains the headquarters of many major corporations, the UN, a number of important universities, and many cultural attractions. Manhattan is loosely divided into Lower, Midtown, and Uptown regions. Uptown Manhattan is divided by Central Park into the Upper East Side and the Upper West Side, and above the park is Harlem. New York City's remaining four boroughs are collectively referred to as the "outer boroughs".
 • The Bronx (Bronx County) is New York City's northernmost borough, the location of Yankee Stadium, home of the New York Yankees, and home to the largest cooperatively owned housing complex in the United States, Co-op City. Except for a small section of Manhattan known as Marble Hill, the Bronx is the only section of the city that is part of the United States' mainland. It is home to the Bronx Zoo, the world's largest metropolitan zoo which spans 265 acres (1.07 km2) and is home to over 6,000 animals. The Bronx is the birthplace of rap and hip hop culture.[146]
 • Brooklyn (Kings County) on the western tip of Long Island, is the city's most populous borough and was an independent city until 1898. Brooklyn is known for its cultural, social and ethnic diversity, an independent art scene, distinct neighborhoods, and a distinctive architectural heritage. Downtown Brooklyn is the only central core neighborhood in the outer boroughs. The borough has a long beachfront shoreline including Coney Island, established in the 1870s as one of the earliest amusement grounds in the country.
 • Queens (Queens County) on Long Island east of Brooklyn, is geographically the largest borough, the most ethnically diverse county in the United States, as well as the most ethnically diverse urban area in the world. Historically a collection of small towns and villages founded by the Dutch, the borough has since developed both commercial and residential prominence. Queens County is the only large county in the United States where the median income among African Americans, approximately $52,000 a year, is higher than that of White Americans. Queens is the site of Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets, and annually hosts the U.S. Open tennis tournament. Additionally, it is home to two of the three major airports serving the New York metropolitan area, LaGuardia Airport and  John F. Kennedy  International Airport . (The third is Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, New Jersey.)
 • Staten Island (Richmond County) is the most suburban in character of the five boroughs. Staten Island is connected to Brooklyn by the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and to Manhattan by way of the free Staten Island Ferry. The Staten Island Ferry is one of the most popular tourist attractions in New York City as it provides unsurpassed views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and lower Manhattan. In central Staten Island, the 2,500 acres (10 km2) Staten Island Greenbelt has some 28 miles (45 km) of walking trails and one of the last undisturbed forests in the city. Designated in 1984 to protect the island's natural lands, the Greenbelt comprises seven city parks.
Though one wouldn't guess it at first glance with the awe-inspiring level of diversity present in the city, but New Yorkers themselves are capable of a surprising level of solidarity. That isn't to say that your typical New Yorker is friendly (in fact the general attitude of the city's residents is a state of mild-to-mid-level agitation), but on the whole the city's population looks out for itself, and in a sense, New York can be considered one gigantic community because of this.

I'm sure you know what a dragon is. You can be any sort of dragon, but if I find your dragon OP, I'll tell you to tone it down.

Dragons' lifespan varies.

Dragons can't do human magic.

When dragons reappear, they are completely naked and have sealing tattoos all over them. At first, they can't access their true dragon form, but they can maybe transform parts of them back (like wings or their arm). Only small parts to begin with, but slowly the seal weakens more and more. Later in the RP, you'll be able access your true form.

BTW, dragons have their own language that all dragons speak so they can communicate with each other. Otherwise, you won't be able to speak English upon arrival to New York.

Many dragons that interacted with humans back in the olden days visited a human mage in order to place sigils upon them. These sigils allowed the dragons to freely transform back and forth and became almost a symbol of harmony between humans and dragons.

Dragons can detect the presence of other dragons within a small radius around them (average 4 meters) through their sigils throbbing, the size depending on how perceptive of magic they are.
3PlD1Dt.png
You know how dragons appear in basically every mythology? Well that's cuz they used to exist back in 2000+ BC. Somewhere along the line they disappeared. The majority of them disappeared at any rate, and the magical organizations began to hunt the remaining ones up until the 15th century when they finally finished Dragons simply were there, some were aggressive, some were peaceful, a rare few even lived alongside humans and such.

BTW, dragons built the pyramids. lol. Not aliens.
3PlD1Dt.png
Magic is not a tool all humans can use and in this modern age it is very rare. It is a trait passed by genetics, and although one may have the genes, it may not even manifest as magical ability (though you will still carry the gene to your descendants, and they may receive the ability). No one is quite sure who granted the first human mages magic, as any traces of divine beings that may have existed before have been utterly wiped from memory and records if they existed at all.

Casting magic requires focus and often the manifestation of holographic sigils in the air, to help with the channelling of mana.

There are many Families of magic (magic bloodlines), though they have slowly died out over the centuries, with only relapses every now and then. Each Family has an area of proficiency that can be roughly categorized into the following mage classes or a combination of them.

Knight - Temporary physical enhancement and weapon enhancement is their forte. Knight-class abilities generally channel mana to the body, strengthening it, or hardening it, or otherwise transfer mana to objects that they are touching. Only a few can transfer mana to projectiles that can retain magical properties after being fired. A very balanced class, the strongest of them (highly rare) can even match a dragon in a head-on fight. Force of will is the most predominant trait that affects your performance.

Enchanter - Has the ability to enchant objects to a specific task (eg piercing dragonhide), the more specific the more powerful, by focusing their thoughts and going through varying other procedures. Permanently enchanted objects require rare, expensive materials and extremely lengthy procedures that produce inconsistent results, while temporary enchantments tend to take at least twenty minutes. More powerful than Knights with sufficient preparation, but useless without forehand preparation. Imagination and concentration is important in an Enchanter.

Caster - Casters project their mana onto their surroundings to various effects. These are the traditional wizards. Concentration and clearness of mind are most important in a Caster-class mage.

Ritualist - Rather similar to Enchanter, but has less focus on imagination and more on concentration and passion. They shape their thoughts into long-lasting effects on their surroundings through ritualistic procedures. Not a combative class. As stated before, concentration and passion are most important in Ritualist-class mages.

Shaman/Psionist - A worker of the mind and spirit, they are a highly varied classification, ranging from mind-readers to diviners. Some may be able to buff their allies, aiding in their concentration or fortitude as well as lending mana, others can connect with animals and control them at will.

Attempting magic outside of your specialization requires extra effort and is unlikely to produce satisfactory effects.

Founded around 2014 BC as various small organizations of mages, it gained prominence and mages from all over the world conglomerated in the effort to fight against the dragons. In the end, it was headed by the Three Sages, three heads of prominent magical Families which came to be known as the Three Great Houses.

As the organization lost relevance with the last of the dragons sealed away, its membership and funding drastically decreased. All but the richest or most influential of Families, which included feudal lords and other nobility, could no longer support themselves, and were given no support; thus left to assimilate into mainstream society. A great number yet remains, but nothing like the world-changing force of the days of old. Mostly, they focus on political manipulation and acquisition of old arcane artifacts, slowly gathering their strength for the inevitable return of dragonkind.

Leadership Structure:
The Pantheon retains a structure similar to the one it held in the time of the Dragon War, being led by the heirs of the Three Sages, known today as the High Magisters, who themselves maintain a council formed of the heirs of the Lesser Houses of magic. From this Council, each of the houses is passed on orders concerning where it should send its members and how many should be sent. In the headquarters of each individual house, there exists a Magister Errant, essentially the steward for the heir to the house, who passes on the orders from the Council and decides how best to follow them(and in some cases, if to follow them at all). The task of governing the world’s magi has become increasingly difficult, as in recent years certain houses have simply withdrawn their support for the organization or else fallen into obscurity with the passage of time. Still, this Council retains a great deal of influence in the terms of the codes of conduct to which the world’s magi are held and to where they are assigned such that their abilities might see the most effective use. While the Council holds the true governing power, each House maintains the power to send their forces off to war. As such, they individually maintain a sort of militia chosen from their members who are most adept in combat.

History:
Since its founding, The Pantheon has had its hands in many of the major governmental and religious organizations around the globe, its mages often performing “miracles” with their magic in order to keep the masses faithful and in-line. Throughout history, the organization has had a secret hand in influencing the flow of world politics to suit its own ends. While originally founded with the intent of controlling the extremely powerful magical forces which humanity had come to wield during the dragon war, as time passed the Pantheon’s motives became increasingly more focused on maintaining the organization’s control over world power. Through the use of magic, The pantheon has influenced the outcomes of wars and the fluctuation of economies. As of recent history, however, The Pantheon has begun to lose its grip on the world order it has subtly manipulated for centuries, the advent of the digital age, causing fluctuations that even the mages of the pantheon cannot entirely control. In the midst of this paradigm shift in society, the Pantheon has undertaken its own shift. The current head of House Amun, one of the Three Great Houses was found dead, leaving behind no heir to speak of. This has caused a grab for power among the lesser houses, as well as conflict between the two remaining great houses, with each blaming the other for the mysterious death.

Original Three Great Houses:
House Amun
House Marduk
House Shennong

Current Three Great Houses:
House Pendragon
House Amun
House Yaga

Lesser Houses:
House Shennong

House of the Japanese

Dead Houses:
House Marduk
House Blackmoore

The original Three Great Houses were the Houses of Amun from Egypt, Marduk from Babylon and Shennong from the lands of the Far East. Through the tumult of the ages, the House of Marduk was destroyed during the fall of Babylon in 539 BC. The House of Shennong lost power with the fall of the Xia Dynasty, but didn't die out until nearing the Three Kingdoms age. Of the original three Great Houses, only House Amun maintains its supremacy. The position of the other great houses was much fought over, and changed hands many times over the ages. The Pendragon House came into power around 450 CE, briefly lost it due to internal conflict, but regained it soon after. House Yaga bided time wisely, and through witchcraft and manipulation, came into power around the 9th or 10th century, but lost power momentarily during the rampant witch hunt, but when the witch hunting subsided, they regained most of their authority amongst magisters. House Blackmoore, rose to prominence and membership of The Pantheon in the 13th century CE thanks to their mastery of a rare art of magic which is colloquially known as Χάοmancy for it allowed them to manipulate the little understood forces of entropy. Regrettably, this knowledge was lost when their holdings were destroyed in the First World War and the last of their number died in the Second.

House Specializations:

House Pendragon
Noble, mighty, celebrated scions of the line of Uther Pendragon and most famous for the powerful Knights which emerge from their ranks. Owning vast tracts of land and great wealth, they are perhaps the most influential of the great houses and have oft been considered the unofficial leaders of the council. Whenever the Heir of Pendragon speaks, all those present listen. As with all of the houses, Pendragon holds many traditions to themselves; including the lack of a single Magister Errant as they are instead led by a council in miniature in the form of the Round Table Conference. Among their traditions are also celebrations linked to Pagan holidays and events of importance during the lives of their ancestors, a particularly important time of year for them being the Feast of Camlann, dedicated to the battle in which their famous progenitors did battle and from which their deaths could be traced. On this day, the house produces its two mightiest warriors and sets them into a duel to first blood with the Legendary Blades Excalibur and Clarent.
The Pendragon School of Magic focuses on the defensive, manifesting a magical armor that rivals dragonhide in hardness, while slowly charging their sword with immense amounts of mana to unleash deeply penetrating strikes.

House Pendragon is closely affiliated with the small House Le Fey and the long lost House Ambrosius.

House Yaga
Capricious and unpredictable, yet deeply respected for their shamanic and ritual arts, the House Yaga is integral in this day and age as intelligence gatherers and prophets, allowing the Pantheon to plan out its courses of action greatly ahead of time. Their abilities as ritualists put them in a support role, but a number of them also manifest talent as casters giving them sizable firepower. Their great and many arcane secrets are bound in a tome bound in human skin and closely guarded. Rumors of their consorting with demons and devils have circulated for years on end, with little proper evidence given the apparent lack of such creatures existing in the first place. Sightings of such creatures are attributed to the euphoric effects of shamanism.

House Amun
The House of Amun is a solemn priesthood, the members training and demonstrating their devotion daily while their magical potency consequentially rises with their faith. A rather closed and secretive group, they give good impressions to outsiders, but refuse to allow them to see the house’s inner workings or organization. The magic of House Amun draws energy from the sun, converting it to mana to boost its power, and focuses on the classes of Caster and Ritualist. Using a combination of these classes, they often create clay or undead puppets as vanguard fighters, while supporting from the shadows with various ranged spells.

The Head of House Amun was recently assassinated and a new leader has yet to be instated.

House Nurarihyon
A house originating in Japan that frequently keeps to its own and serves only its own interests, House Nurarihyon is probably the most secretive of all houses. They are mainly Casters and Enchanters, and focus magic on shadows, illusions, and ninjutsu, while striking from the most unexpected of places in force. Famed is their Night Parade of 1000 Demons, where their entire House appears from the shadows to lay ruin on their enemies before disappearing without trace.

Very unique RP Idea.

EDITED! Personality Expanded.
“You can't hit what isn't there.”
Personal Information
Name: Orion
Age: 50
Gender: Male

Race: Ethereal

Human Appearance - Old yet Agile. Blondish-gray hair with a goatee to match that is messy and uncared for. At 6'5, with silk like blue eyes. An overcoat, covering a black suit pants, and a turtleneck sweater. His tattoo resides on his back.
Pictures allowed, but you have to specify your height and likely what sort of tattoo you have. Otherwise 5+ lines of text please.

Personality Orion had failed his dragons in the past great war. It's because of him many battles were lost, this has caused him to doubt himself, lower his self-esteem, and contemplate suicide. He's a great combatant but after his past actions, he's become a pessimist, causing second that only impact negatively on the situation at hand, but uses comedy to hide his pain. Jokes aside, he can't take himself seriously. Whenever he looks in the mirror, assuming he has the courage to, he sees a failure, a waste of a dragon, and more importantly, a liability. Taking on the form of a hilarious fifty year old man even says that his life is over, and all he was a meaningless waste of space that shouldn't have been born, when really there's a potential for greatness inside him, that only those forgave him for his actions could see. Since then, not only his hatred for humanity grew, for the massacre of his people when peace should have been wrought from the ashes of terrible war.

Backstory Orion is a ghost dragon. He's not actually dead, he just has the abilities of one that is. When he hatched, every dragon was surprised to see that it appeared as if they were incubating an empty egg. Orion was actually crying at the time, and no one heard it. It took a lot of his strength to revert back to a physical form. Ethereal dragons are rare, and they weren't expecting it. Fifty years later, during the time of war, Ethereals are used as stealth soldiers, as they are not invisible, but camouflaged. Commander Orion was sent on a mission to sabotage a human garrison, and allow the civilian dragons safe passage. He couldn't do it, causing the death of hundreds of dragons who didn't deserve to die. While imprisoned alongside his former comrades he was tortured and beaten for his failure. He knows no pain worse, and as such, he looked for an escape, which lead to the discovery of "New York", a town so prosperous, so lively, it will be perfect to survive in. As he etched onto his skin his tattoo, he looked towards the portal, and said, "A new home". Upon entering the world that humanity has created for itself, Orion has resided in the human world for two weeks total.

Just some detail on your character’s background, there is no need for an extensive and/or dramatic backstory. Also put how long you've been in the human world.

Abilities Being ghost-like, Orion can phase through walls and organic beings, making flying in the city that never sleeps, a breeze. He can become camouflaged, and such, ever so deadly. Can create illusions, yell into one person, and nauseate, as way to invoke insanity in one's person.
3PlD1Dt.png

X2UPqhS.png
"You'll keep quiet about this, won't you?"

3PlD1Dt.png

Personal Information3PlD1Dt.png
Name: Mammon
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Race: Diamond Dragon
3PlD1Dt.png
d573033fdbce6c6a3c4031e1604af158e3ccaace
Quite short, standing at 160 cm (5'3") and boasting a slender build, lacking in muscle. His tattoos are black. One circles around his neck, trailing his collarbone and splitting down the front into an inverted spade on his chest and extending a bit onto his stomach, while on the back it simply trails down his back as two black lines. Two black bands are on each of his arms, just below his shoulders, and too spade tattoos appear on the back of his hands.
3PlD1Dt.png
Cunning, mischievous, and playful, Mammon fits the mythological archetype of the Trickster. All he wants to do is have fun, he's always joking around or goofing off, and he always wears that smile on his face as if to show the world how much he's enjoying life. The flip side of this is that he can never be serious about anything and never really cared about anything or anyone. He never felt determination, never knew the definition of hard work, and can hardly be motivated to do anything that wasn't pure fun. As a dragon, he was never hungry, he could catch his prey with laughable ease, or, if he didn't feel like hunting, he could arrive at the nearest human city and trade a diamond for a meal fit for kings. Life goes by for him from one interesting thing to the next, his whims as unpredictable as the weather.

Mammon is inhuman, aloof and detached, but enjoys playing with humans, finding them much more interesting than his prideful, and uptight kin, and the ease which he could manipulate them with their greed amused him to no end. His cunning and intellect allows him to read human expressions and feelings like a book, though he has trouble truly understanding them. From advisers to kings, to heroes' companions, the experiences gathered from his long life allowed him to fit a variety of roles. He never really stuck in one role for long, a year or two at most usually, and would fly off into the horizon for new thrills whenever he got bored.

This new human world, however, interests him to no end, and likely, he'll be staying in spot to take in all the new technological advancements that took place during the thousands of years he was gone. Video games are highly stimulating for him.
3PlD1Dt.png
Mammon is nearly immortal, he is an ancient dragon, and one of few direct children of Tiamat that still survive, although he is one of the youngest. Every millenia or so, he creeps deep underground to the Earth's mantle and creates a cocoon of diamonds, where he slumbers and regenerates, and many of the world's diamond mines can be attributed to him.

While he was awake, he preferred to be with humans, whether manipulating them, playing pranks with them, or otherwise screwing with them. He was one of the first to receive a sigil.

There were a select few times when a particular human would interest him and he would befriend them, and even after he left, he may correspond with them and return to visit them.

He has recently arrived a week ago, manifesting out of a pink diamond's core, shattering it as he tore through space and time.

Diamond Scales: Even for dragons, Mammon's resilience is ridiculous due to being covered head-to-toe in diamonds. There are a select few Achilles' heel about his body, but he's wise enough not to reveal them to anyone.
Diamond Creation: Mammon naturally separates carbon atoms from carbon dioxide and his food, and compresses them into diamonds through the extreme heat and pressure of a special organ inside of him. He can spit them out of his mouth and sell them.
Respiration: While creating diamonds within him, he doesn't need to breathe as he converts carbon dioxide back to oxygen again.
White Flames: Extremely intense flames are required to create diamonds, and Mammon can spew some of it. It is so hot, it is white. Naturally, it loses a lot of intensity upon being released, and it is very short ranged.

Age: 22
Gender: Male
Race: Norse Dragon3PlD1Dt.png
50695m.jpg

Nidhogg is 179cm tall and weighs some 68 kilograms. His tattoo he refers to as "the tree". It stretches through his back and down his arms, closing in around his neck. His legs are covered in arrows pointing downwars, likened to roots.
3PlD1Dt.png
There really is only so much a dragon can say for himself when he's slept for as long as they have.

Even before being trapped in blackness, Nidhogg had seen nothing but dark. He has grown so attached to it that he seeks to avoid sunlight whenever possible. Although he will not suffer any direct effect from exposure, his mind is conditioned to believe it will. Not excessively cunning, he prioritizes his comfort over his cover; this extends to sheltering his eyes furiously with his hands in public. As a direct result of his photophobia, he thrives in the night -lively but sedentary. A bit of a recluse, you see, and ever-angry at the world as it now is. The NYC Metropolitan especially hits home with him.

Not only had they torn him from the Tree before he had finished his meal, but they had mocked him further by ensnaring him with it. Thus he has... both a tendency to gnaw on trees and to vaguely dislike them. Will also be seen talking to squirrels sometimes.

While not particularly murderous, Odin help the poor idiot who reminds him this world now belongs to humans even by chance.
3PlD1Dt.png

Powerful Bite: Having spent most of his life chewing away, his jaw is more powerful than one of its size ought to be. This even translates to his human form, in which biting through a person's skull should not prove to be a hard task.

Tail: Nidhogg's tail was his main digging tool back in the day, and is long enough to run down the ground and back out behind someone else; read, strangling.

Mobility: Not a flyer as you can see, but quite quick underground. He is comfortable in underground dwellings and could memorize the entire Metro system by simplly coursing it repeatedly.

Night Vision: Functions similarly to a cat's in that he sees perfcetly, his eyes glow oddly in the dark and is nearly fucking blind during the day.
3PlD1Dt.png
3PlD1Dt.png
Speaks old Norse, which for easiness of plot we'll say is easy enough for someone who speaks Norwegian to understand!

Appearance and stuff needs to be lengthened. Actually read the text that came with the application. And by the way, you're supposed to remove the text.

Powers are also overpowered. If you can just phase through anything, you basically can't get hit. And then you have basically invisibility. And then you have "invoking insanity" which is really not such an RP friendly ability as it can be either overpowered or otherwise it's useless.

BXHib.jpg

"Pull the strings.  Watch them dance."

Personal Information

Name:  Amita ( Zoviidost Gein in dragontongue, lit. 'Venomous One' )

Age: 24

Gender: Female

Race: [acronym='A serpentine dragon common to all cultures influenced by Hinduism. They are often hooded like a cobra and may have several heads depending on their rank. They usually have no arms or legs but those with limbs resemble the Chinese dragon.']Nāgiṇī[/acronym]
Human Appearance

Amita's human form is that of a mixed race human female;  half Indian and half Caucasian.  She stands at an average 5'7.  Her skin is darker toned, but it could still be considered 'white'.  Her usual attire consists of some stolen jeans and t-shirts;  where she obtained these, nobody knows, except her.  Her sigil rests on the back of her neck, hidden by black hair.

Tattoo Appearance

Draconic Appearance:  Image for slight reference, bar a few changes.  Amita's draconic form resembles something less of a dragon and more of a snake.  In fact, a king cobra is something far more similar to her appearance than that of a western dragon.  Measuring in at a whopping 102 meters long and weighing god knows how much, her true form is something to behold. Her slab-like scales are the deepest onyx, devoid of all color and as reflective as any mirror.  Each scale itself is like a large tombstone;  smaller scales near the tale, and larger ones near the front.  Her faces are, in comparison to the rest of her body, grey as opposed to the black onyx of her serpentine body.  Her piercing eyes are a bright and vivid orange.  Amita has three heads; two, however, are not intelligent, with only her middle head capable of any independent thought.  The middle head is hooded, while the other two heads are less snakelike and more draconic in appearance.

As a derivative of the race known as naga, Amita (origin Hindi; meaning endless, representing infinity) is deceitful by nature.  While she doesn't mean it, much of what comes out of her mouth is sarcastic and many things she says can be interpreted as sorts of double entendres.  While clever due to nature, she tends to not think things through.  Amita does not care all too much about the humans she associates with, and doesn't mind killing one or two to sate her thirst.  She very much enjoys leading humans on into webs of lies, getting them to do things for her while she reaps the rewards.  Other dragons have a much easier time spotting these mind games from her, however.  She can be very persuasive, regardless, and her smooth manner of speak is only beaten by an even more fickle mindset.  Her charisma can only carry her so far, however, and sometimes she may end up biting off far more than she can chew.  Such an event has already happened, here in the human world...

There's not a whole lot to know about the conniving serpent that goes by 'Amita'.  She's very old;  old enough, in fact, to remember one of her elders who had been sealed away in the human world.  He taught her all the tricks of the trade; manipulating the humans into doing her bidding and the like.  "Humans are very convinced that higher powers exist, my dear, and if you can convince them you are a god, then you'll be golden."

That is why Amita has relished the thought of living in the human world for so long.  Amita wants to feel the power over others; she craves it far more than anything.  She doesn't exactly want to cause havoc, however, and instead leaves that to her more violent brethren.

Dragon form described in the appearance section.

Poison: As what could be considered the patron dragon of toxicity, Amita is incredibly poisonous; her bite is venomous, her breath toxic, her touch vile and deadly.  The very air she breathes is replaced by a deadly toxin, harmful to any and all life around her.  The poison she secretes in these ways can be different, depending on her needs, as her body can produce far more than a single type of poison. However, the normal poison she produces is a slow acting paralyzing cloud, intended to slow down her prey so she can feed.

Inability to Fly:  Although a dragon, Amita is grounded and does not possess the ability to fly.

Ability to Climb Walls: Not as a human, however.  When in dragon form, Amita can easily scale buildings by slithering up them.

Immense Physical Strength:  The body of a snake is naught but muscle;  as such, Amita's incredibly strong.  Go figure.

Control:  More like 'influence', Amita's words carries a certain weight with it that can influence the actions of those that are weaker willed (non-specific NPCs). Those that are stronger willed can easily resist this.  It is strengthened when Amita is under stress, and is able to paralyze weak opponents during combat.

“If there is nothing else, there is my choice.”
Personal Information
Name: Pham Nhi
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Race: Vietnamese
WIP

Pham is a hot-headed kind overly-ambitious individual. Since Pham awoke he has been overly driven in his life to achieve what he later labeled as the ultimate freedom, the total absence of limitations even negative emotions and worry. To accomplish this, Pham lives his life by the moment. He is quick to anger when others hurt others or act in malice. However, he is also quick to forgive making him seem ditzy with a short memory. As a Vietnamese dragon, he is decended from the dragon who created the humans of that region thus he feels a strong protective instint towards humanity manifesting as a sense of justice but not of the law. He has a lack of obedience to authority due to his ultimate freedom giving him the impression as a idealistic anarchist. Pham as strong willed and impulsive as he is, has fears of restraint and influence. He has weak shoulders to the burden of power leading him to shy away from leadership positions and movements with a dedicated cause. To others, Pham is very kind-hearted to those who do not directly contradict his values and strives to help others defensively but will be reluctent to help others in any more agressive way, even those close to him.

Pham awoke into the modern world of men around Saigon about a decade ago with no knowledge of his past except his existance as a dragon. Born with a pasionate fire in his eyes, Pham quickly learned from humans as he hid his truth via his seal. For the past 9 years, Pham has spent his time as he's seen fit to the point that he identifies more with humans than as a dragon which is exceptionally problematic since he is unaware of other dragons existing in this world. He spent years valuing his freedom and working part-time jobs around SE Asia for a living. Not long ago, Pham did exceptionally well for a syndicate boss who contracted his services as a reward promised him passage to America. Pham out of curiousity accepted his generous offer and arrived in New York a month ago. Since then, Pham has heard rumor that there are other dragons in the world and has been wondering what they would know about his race. Until then, Pham is still seeking his ultimate freedom and working part-time as a grocery cashier in lower Manhatten.

“What is Nuew Yeurk Sheetie'?”
Personal Information
Name: [acronym='registered as Marina Lotan']Leviathan[/acronym]
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Race: Judaic Dragon
eAzAxBM.jpg

Ironically for how huge her dragon form is, Leviathan in her bound form is quite short. Standing at a mere 5'1"  her fellow dragons would be surprised to learn of her previous fearsome identity. Leviathan's tattoos start with 5 purple pentagrams, which are surrounded by the Hebrew word for 'seal' that run the length of her spine. Another purple sealing tattoo, which takes the form of a purple cross is on the back of her neck. Leviathan also has two pairs of identical tattoos on her shoulder blades which begin with a purple apple-like symbol, which then expands into purple spiraling vines that extend to just above her breasts, mid-biceps, and mid-back. Each of these vines ends in what looks like a serpent's mouth. Her final set of tattoos are purple spirals that come up from her heel that end in somewhat of a curve make it look somewhat like a wave.

Leviathan in her prime was a proud, and somewhat arrogant, dragon known for her supreme powers of destruction. Revered as nearly the equivalent of a god, and she was an angry god too, prone to fits rage if she didn't get what she wanted, and wasn't given "proper" respect. These fits of rage where often so bad that she was dubbed a demon by the people of Abrahamic religions. Taking all this into account she's more like a churlish child who is need of a spanking rather than a malevolent force of nature. Despite her frequent temper tantrums Leviathan is really not all that bad, for the most part being quite calm.

After awakening though Leviathan's personality has taken quite a drastic change. She has become shy, but still retains her relatively calm demeanor, though stressful situations turn her into a nervous wreck. Her lack of knowledge of the modern human world, and unfamiliar surroundings have caused Leviathan to embrace the lifestyle of the shut-in. This has led her human body to become somewhat frail, and she cannot handle much physical exertion. Leviathan despises anything physically challenging, and even finds awkward and a chore, and often wonders why humans don't sprout wings and fly. Even though she has spent almost 2 weeks in the human world she still finds her human body quite awkward, and this combined with her lack of physical activity causes her to be quite clumsy.

One thing about the human world Leviathan has taken an extreme liking too is technology. She finds machines fascinating, and her love of them borders on an obsession. Her apartment is littered with game systems, phones, tablets, and computers as well as a large flatscreen tv.  Don't ask how she acquired these things, actually don't ask how she acquired her apartment or anything in it... it's highly immoral. Though these small amenities have made acclimating to human life much more bearable, and Leviathan has even started to enjoy life as a human a bit, though she'd never admit it.

Ho boy though, if Leviathan should ever fully regain her powers, God have mercy on those who put her into this pitiable human state. They will learn what it means to anger a dragon. Leviathan has been constantly allowing her anger to stew deep within her, readying for when she can finally release it.

An ancient and powerful serpent referenced in the Tanakh, whose name has become synonymous with any large sea monster. Her name in modern Hebrew even means "whale". Since her sealing her name has been used in several religions, though all portray her as a large sea serpent. In Christian mythos she became portrayed as a demon of envy and her name became synonymous with Satan in the Middle Ages. Having read up on her history through the web, she is thoroughly unamused by known as one of the Seven Princes of Hell, another reason she detests humans. She has also come to be revered as a Crown Prince of Hell and its Gate Keeper in Satanism a reputation she would sorely like to fix. Having been on Earth for a mere two weeks she has already found many a things that make her want to return to her slumber.

U0Obb8M.jpg

Leviathan's true form spans nearly 60 m long. True to her reputation as a sea monster Leviathan is easily able to move through the sea using her tail. Leviathan's large wingspan and tail, compared to her smaller body size allows her quite fast, which is surprising given her body size. Due to the size of her wings, Leviathan's wing beats can cause previously calm waters to turn rough at any moment.

Hypnotic Suggestion: Leviathan is able to mentally influence others, this is not complete mind control though. She can merely plant certain thoughts into ones head, or steer someone's thoughts in a certain direction. She is also able to gather information from the minds of others when entering their mind, which has been extremely useful in helping her survive in the human world, especially given the human form has manifested as a young girl. It seems that mages and other dragons are immune to this power.

Transformation of Limbs: Leviathan is able to transform parts of her human body into parts of her dragon body. Though the best she's been able to do so far has been her wings, and even then they reverted back in a few minutes.

Other Information:

Theme: Pending

Leviathan's last name is taken from her name in Ugaritic myth. Her first name in is a reference to status as a "sea monster" marine being a word that refers to things found in or relating to the sea.

You know what, your right. It is super OP. Also the text from the application kept reappearing, I kept getting rid of it, but it just kept showing up with every edit. However I really want to be a part of this so I'll come with something realistic by tomorrow.

Looks interesting.  .3.
“So much food! I could get used to this...”
Personal Information
Name: Grimjaw
Age:  19
Gender: Male .
Race: Mythril Dragon
1zh1h12.jpg
Grimjaw stands 5’11 in his human form. He’s eyes glow a brilliant magenta, and he sports a mouth full of razor sharp teeth. Grimjaw’s seal consists of series of black chains that branch out from a pair of folded wings, which cover the majority of his back. The chains wrap around his arms and upper torso, meeting at his palms in a spiral. His lower body is relatively untouched, aside from chain link bands that wrap around his ankles.

Even before he was forced into his century long slumber, Grimjaw always had one thing on his mind, food. Fortunately, unlike the vast majority of his fellow dragon, he has no interest in the squishy meat bags that seemed to infest the land. He would much rather indulge in a nice chunk of silver, or even bite of the iron that the humans seemed to love to wrap themselves in during the old times. Having been too occupied with his hunting to knowingly participate in the war, Grimjaw retains an indifference towards humans, and will at most times just ignore them completely.

As a Mythril dragon, Grimjaw is a loner by nature. Nearly every action he takes is for his own benefit, and the only time he even considers helping others is when they've already assisted him. Like most of his kind, he is extremely appreciative of those who willingly offer him food, and will often times promise them favors in return. He takes these favors extremely seriously, and will often times go to great lengths to complete them, despite his nature.

Having grown inherently lazy from the time he spent asleep, Grimjaw finds the human world to quite comfortable. He enjoys the freedom that his human form allows him, and also finds the vast amount of modern metals that the humans have created to be quite tasty. His only complaints are that he is forced to walk instead of fly, and the fact that the mouth of his new body is much smaller than his original’s. Although he is not particularly violent, his dragon instincts are still very much present. Making him prone to occasional outbursts; most of which are direct effects of someone interfering with his feeding.

In the days of old, Grimjaw was feared by mankind as the Great Devourer. Many kings were forced to watch as their entire kingdoms were wiped off the map. For when Grimjaw fed, he consumed every trace of metal in the area; leaving mines stripped bare, and armies laid to waste. It seemed that the creature’s mythril scales had made it unstoppable, until the day came that man discovered magic. Aware of the beast’s insatiable hunger, it was simple enough for mankind to trap Grimjaw with his new found arcane power, and when the time came the beast was cast into the other dimension with his brothers.

MH4-Kushala_Daora_Render_001.png

Metal Eating: Like all Mythril dragons, Grimjaw can consume external metals as a primary source of energy. The metal he consumes is then converted to Mythril inside his body, and is used for the dragon's own form of homeostasis.

Mythril Skeleton: The Mythril dragons skeleton is made from solid Mythril, and is extremely durable. This also means that Grimjaw is much heavier then he appears, and is vulnerable to certain magnetic fields.

Mythril Manipulation: Grimjaw is able to manipulate the Mythril within his own body. As of now, he is only able to cover parts of his body with the magical metal to

increase his offensive or defensive capabilities. But as his seal weakens, he will be able to create more complicated constructs.

Mythril Scales: Aside from being extremely valuable,  the scales of a Mythril dragon are frighteningly resistant to most damage. Though it is has been discovered that they are vulnerable to thunder magic.

Just a heads up to everyone who is planning on creating a char based on an actual mythological entity, because I know a bunch of you are. Just because your dragon is famous, that won't mean that they are special or extra powerful, they just happened to be famous due to their exploits or just being at the right place at the right time.

ITT: All dragons are special and powerful.
“What are dragons? They're just a miserable remnant of the glory of the past.

Their age had ended..”
Personal Information
Name: Tiamat, though she was known by many names throughout history. She really prefers if one calls her Elsa Montoya though these days.
Age: 29
Gender: Female
Race: Elder Sea Dragon
2ed1ab9897b7ba63c1f28381523c98d114adfe2b

190 cm tall, and she only brings her really long scarf when she’s going to dance.

As for her tattoo, it was of a snake-like dragon, coiling from her left arm, into her torso, and then ends on her right arm. There’s another tattoo behind her back, depicting a serpent coiling, shaping into what looked like Earth.

Unlike the popular depiction of her in human’s fiction, Tiamat is quite a chill dragon. She never really bothered to agitate anyone, and would not lash at someone unless provoked first. She is very motherly, caring about her children and humans in her own way. She views the human race as her children, watching as they grew and develop, giving knowledge to them, while also learning new things from them. She also really appreciates any forms of art, especially dances,

Though, it wasn’t like this all the time. Back before she was defeated for the first time, she was really arrogant, just like the other dragonkin. Her defeat made her start to think that humans were the fitter race to inherit the world, not the dragons, especially when she realized that the gift of magic was not for dragonkin. This belief of hers just strengthened when the humans vanquished the dragons during the war, and when she saw what humanity achieved when the dragons were not there. At that point she really believed that her own offsprings were definitely not fit to rule the earth, and decided to discard her dragonic traits as best as she could, while becoming more and more like a human.

Despite her trying to leave her arrogance and violent tendencies from the past, it occasionally resurfaced as an outburst. She also had quite the unusual morality and train of thought, something that could be seen from her sudden decision to ditch her own descendants for the hairless monkeys. That could also could be attributed to her less than stellar ability to judge a character, but that also could be attributed to her alien morality compared to humans. She did try to adjust her morals to that of humans though. But yeah, key word being 'try'.
Tiamat is a firm believer of the 'survival of the fittest' and her own form of Social Darwinism. She pushed the evolution of her children as best as she could, and when she saw someone that she would categorize as 'defects', she would eliminate them, deeming them not worthy to rule on this world. All was to prepare dragons so they could properly have the world as their own as the top species. When she first looked at humans, she never had any thoughts that they'd be the inheritor of the earth instead.

This belief and all of her efforts were shattered when she was first sealed, and for millennia, she tried to study the humans to see whether they're just having a lucky break when defeating her, or were they actually have something that gave them an edge over dragons. Then, she learned more about the existence of magic, and humanity's ability to innovate and mentally change, something that the dragons so far lacked. But she was still not convinced enough.

In the end, the defeat of dragons by humans and her noticing how much humans had advanced in just four millennia cemented her belief that humans did deserve to inherit the earth, and using her own logic, that should mean that dragons were a complete, total failure and should just be put to an eternal rest.

One of the oldest of the dragonkin. The mother of monsters, from her womb, many dragons were born. Some could say that most of the dragonkin had a lineage that could be traced all the way towards her. Her consort was Apsu the freshwater dragon.

Millenias before the great war between humans and dragons started, she was very violent, demanding that humans to serve her as their goddess, and demanding human sacrifices periodically in exchange of a bit of her vast (for that time) knowledge, especially about taming mother nature. The humans one day had enough, and traced her all the way into her lair when she and her child were asleep, and used the knowledge she gave them against her. All 11 of her children that was in the lair was slain, but Tiamat proved to be too much for them to handle, and thus, they decided to just seal the majority of her power off, and leaving her in a human body. This was the basis of the widespread myth of her, something that she kind of despised due to how much of it was fabricated (and she definitely did not appreciate that she was painted as far uglier and monstrous than she was back then).

But there was one thing she could learn from this defeat. Humanity's potential intrigued her, and prompted her to try learning more about them. Not even using any time to mope and curse them, she decided that she'd learn more about them and melded with their society as best as she could. Meanwhile, the world thought that the mother of monsters had perished.

Later on when the war between humankind and dragons started, Tiamat was really not amused. She tried her best to stop the two factions from annihilating themselves, but without being able to access her full dragon form, she was unable to do much. In fact, all she achieved was uncovering her identity as a dragon, which painted a huge target over her head. Not unexpectedly, she was hunted down soon after, and got sealed (again) and banished for her troubles.

Flash forward to 2014. Tiamat mysteriously emerged on a certain place that later on she’d learn that the name of the place was the city of Cordoba, Spain. She was completely naked, and it was apparent that another layer of sealing tattoos was covering her. Without knowledge of what the hell people there were saying, Tiamat just wander around aimlessly, until she met a gentleman from a place called “Ireland” who pitied her, and decided to take her in, while giving her some language lessons. While at first Tiamat refused, due to her being too proud to be pitied, she ended up accepting his offer when she noticed that he was somehow really familiar to her, and that intrigued her enough to try learning more about him.

Tiamat proved to be a good learner, and not really long after she awakened, she had learned how to speak both English and Spanish, albeit somewhat brokenly. In the meantime, she took her time to gaze and study at what the human race had managed to achieve when she was away, and murmured that she shouldn’t have bothered with the dragonkin if she knew that humans would achieve such magnificence in a relatively short time. The gentleman also get her to learn a dance called “flamenco”, something that she really liked. While she also took the time to learn about other dances, the flamenco was her favorite from them all.

But one day, the man suddenly disappeared, leaving a note that he went to New York, a city in the continent of North America. While at first she paid it little mind, she later felt something fishy was going on, and decided to go to New York too following him.

Current abilities:

-Knowledge about magic: During her time living with mankind, she learned about magic from them, though she failed to replicate them (another reason why she ended up admiring humans). She could sense traces of magic, and had learned a lot from her time with humans. Still can't do jack s*** about it.

-Natural Knowledge: Being around for -that- long, Tiamat's knowledge of nature was vast, though these days, this knowledge of her was not that impressive anymore.

-Storm Affinity: Areas where she’s in had an increased chance of having a violent storm, but no matter how bad the weather is, it won’t bother her.

-Dancing affinity: She was able to pick up dances easily, and perform them well with relatively shorter learning time compared to normally.

-Ancient tongue: She was able to speak and understand all languages that was born in the mesopotamia before she was sealed. Not that it help much in the modern time.

-She was sealed with a double-layer seal. The first one sealed away her access to her true dragon form, but still allowed her to manifest into a relatively small (3 meters) wingless sea serpent, while the second seal barred her from accessing this form too, leaving her with almost none of her draconic nature.

As the small sea serpent, she could move quickly especially in water and fires bolts of lightning from her mouth. She moves on land using her hindfins in this form. Slow, yes. She also able to form water barriers around her for defensive purposes in this form. Not really strong physically.

7f8e68cc19657da86cc5d28b5fd83787d0f9e6b8
Tiamat, the embodiment of the oceans itself, as people in the past believed. One of the oldest of dragons, she was more than 111 meters long, and weighs several hundred tons.

As expected from a creature of that size, Tiamat is extremely powerful physically, and extremely durable too. Like snakes, she was able to stretch her uniquely shaped four section jaws to devour things that was bigger than her diameter easily. The four-section jaws of her was actually less about munching and crunching, and more like a prison to prevent her food from breaking out. She usually crush her foods using her oddly shaped double tongue, which is really strong. Her digestive system is able to digest almost anything, provided enough time.

That aside, as the dragon of the sea, Tiamat has the ability to call forth the sea to flood the area around her to make her able to move easier and to drown smaller threats. She also has the ability to call forth and control thunderstorms and lightning in general, and she could also fire a heavily compressed surge of water at high speed from her mouth, usually enough to demolish things.

-Her favorite food is fishes and other sea-creatures, and other dragons. Yeah, Tiamat was definitely a cannibal. Though, she mainly ate gene-defect individuals back then to remove any chances for them to reproduce and stain the dragon's gene pool.

-As a human, she enjoyed alcohol. At nights, expect her to spend half of her time in the nearest bar.

-Don’t mention any versions of Tiamat from mythology or fiction to her. It was one of her berserk buttons.

Sleeps a lot, likes stories, Invade people's dreams and if he wants Freddy Cruger them, finally by eating the dreams of others he can get information. Might come up with more stuff but for now I think these shouldn't be to bad. Oh and turn good dreams into nightmares and vice versa so technically can drive someone insane it just takes like a couple months so don't piss him off enough to do that. Also I guess just for convenience track people in and from their dreams. More details when I make the app.

Definitely interested, however, when you are planning on launching this RP, as for the next week or so I imagine that I may have complications posting.

We're always accepting so you're free to join whenever and the RP should be easy to join mid arc.
"I could get used to this."

.:Personal Information:.

Name: [acronym='Answers and introduces himself as 'L'']Ladon[/acronym]

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Race: [acronym='Ladon is closely related to the Hydra depicted in Greek mythology. He, however, is a subspecies and thus has differing traits and abilities.']Hydra[/acronym]

3PlD1Dt.png
son_of_kisenria_by_theetownhero-d2yf19n.

L stands at a fairly intimidating height of 6'4", usually making him the tallest person in the room. He is quite built, making him weigh a good 245lbs, made almost entirely of muscle. His body is the classic v-shape, and he is wonderful eye-candy. Speaking of eyes, his have a golden sheen to them. His sealing sigil is located between his shoulder blades
3PlD1Dt.png
Surprisingly, L loves being human. His years spent as a dragon were always so boring, and he quite enjoys the freedom that this new age offers. No longer tasked with guarding some precious fruit, L wants to experience life to the fullest. He is a free-spirit that is always open to try to new things.

He has found, unsurprisingly, that the human mating ritual is very enjoyable. Copulating with both genders, in his few weeks as a human, he has seen more action than most. Also, having only learned about 'protection' only a few days ago, it is very possible that he has impregnated more than one human female. No doubt, those children will turn out to be quite special, seeing as they have the blood of a dragon. But I digress.

L is quite blunt, but in an almost charming sort of way. Having almost no self-control, he states what he wants, and if he cannot get it, he moves on until he does. He is not shy about commenting on another's appearance or actions, whether they be favorable or not. His English is still in the working stages, but he has begun to pick it up quite quickly. When he speaks, it is almost as if he has an Italian accent.

L has a specific form of claustrophobia. He does not mind being around a lot of people, but he does have an intense fear of being trapped or bound. As such, small(cage-like) spaces often cause him to panic and/or pass out. Similarly, he finds complete darkness to be overwhelming.

Ladon's breath is inherently horrible, and as such, he eats tic-tacs like an addict pops pills.
3PlD1Dt.png
Full history of Ladon can be found here. In short, in the days long since passed, he was tasked with guarding golden apples that gave those that ate them immortality. His most worthy adversary was Heracles, who was able to steal one of the apples, but contrary to popular belief, did not kill him. He did, however, lose several heads in the conflict. So, perhaps, 100 Headed Dragon is not longer accurate. He has been in New York City for almost three weeks now and is quickly adjusting to the human way of life.

ladon_the_100_headed_dragon_by_utas-d6st

Ladon stands at about twenty feet tall at the shoulder, but the reach his heads have is almost impossible to measure. While they do have their limits, it appears almost as if they could stretch endlessly.

.:Human-Form:.

Enhanced Strength/Speed/Durability/etc: While not on par with that of an unbound dragon, Ladon still retains a large amount of his previous physical characteristics.

Draconic Manifestation: Ladon is able to manifest certain draconic characteristics(ex. wings, claws, scales, etc.). Most notably, Ladon is able to manifest up to three(currently) dragon heads that spout from his shoulders/neck-area. These heads are not sentient are are under the full control of Ladon. They have an amazing amount of reach, but while in use, it is difficult for Ladon to move. These heads are not able to breathe fire, but do have a venomous bite that originate from the copious amounts of bacteria that fester within them.

.:Dragon Form:.

In his dragon form, Ladon has full access to his 90+ heads that can overwhelm most any opponent. A few of these heads are able to breathe fire, but most only have the toxic bite described above. He does have the capability to fly, albeit slower than most other dragons. His heads do not regrow, but as long as he has at least one functioning head, he is able to fully control all body functions.

Looks interesting.  .3.
“How am I supposed to eat when my mouths this small?”

Even before he was forced into his century long slumber, Grimjaw has always had one thing on his mind. Food. Fortunately, unlike the vast majority of his fellow dragon, he has no interest in the squishy meat bags that seemed to infest the land. He would much rather indulge in a nice chunk of silver, or even a bite of the iron that the humans seemed to love to wrap themselves in during the old times. Although now he is not particularly violent, his dragon nature is still very much present; making him prone to what the humans would call eccentric behavior. He is relatively friendly individual in most circumstances. Though he does have trouble grasping the concept of self-censorship, and tends to present his observations in a rather deadpan manner.  When it comes to his new form he is relatively indifferent, only truly concerned with the amount of food he well be able to eat with such a small body.

As of now, he is only able to cover parts of his body with the magical metal to increase his offensive or defensive capabilities. But as his seal weakens, he will be able to create more complicated constructs.

Just extend your personality a bit please.
“The night is still young, so why don't you enjoy it and the music too?”
Personal Information
Name: Tiamat, goes with Elsa Montoya when interacting with humans
Age: 29

Gender: Female
Race: Sea Dragon
2ed1ab9897b7ba63c1f28381523c98d114adfe2b

190 cm tall, and she only brings her really long scarf when she’s going to dance.

As for her tattoo, it was of a snake-like dragon, coiling from her left arm, into her torso, and then ends on her right arm. There’s another tattoo behind her back, depicting a serpent coiling, shaping into what looked like Earth.

Unlike the popular depiction of her in human’s fiction, Tiamatis quite a chill dragon.

Her defeat made her start to think that humans were the fitter race to inherit the world, not the dragons.

Key word being try.

One of the oldest of the dragonkin. The mother of monsters, from her womb, many dragons were born. Some could say that almost all of the dragonkin had a lineage that could be traced all the way towards her. Her consort was Apsu the freshwater dragon.

Millenias before the great war between humans and dragons started, she was very violent, demanding that humans to serve her as their goddess, and demanding human sacrifices periodically in exchange of a bit of her knowledge, specifically in magic. The humans one day had enough, and traced her all the way into her lair when she and her child were asleep, and used the knowledge she gave them against her. All 11 of her children that was in the lair was slain, but Tiamat proved to be too much for them to handle, and thus, they decided to just seal the majority of her power off. This was the basis of the widespread myth of her, something that she kind of despised due to how much of it was fabricated (and she definitely did not appreciate that she was painted as far uglier and monstrous than she was back then).

But there was one thing she could learn from this defeat. Their potential intrigued her, and prompted her to try learning more about them. Using her magic, she transformed into a human form, and melded with their society as best as she could. Meanwhile, the world thought that the mother of monsters had perished.

When the war between humankind and dragons started, Tiamat was really not amused. She tried her best to stop the two factions from annihilating themselves, but without being able to access her full dragon form, she was unable to do much. In fact, all she achieved was uncovering her identity as a dragon, which painted a huge target over her head. Not unexpectedly, she was hunted down soon after, and got sealed and banished for her troubles.

-Knowledge about magic: The knowledge of magic in mankind could be traced back to her, though she was by no means was the source of the power itself. Also knowledge=/= ability to use, and while she could trace and read forms of magic around her, she couldn’t use magic due to her seal. Speaking of her seal, she knew about the nature of her first seal, and probably could research on the nature of the second seal, but with her interest in melding with the humans and leaving the dragonkin behind, she had little to no interest to look more into it (not that knowing about the seal can make her undone it by herself, since she lacked the power to do that). Note that the knowledge of magic should have evolved with the passing time, and while she knew about the basics, it will take her some time to recognize the more complicated derivatives of those basic magic.

Anyway, her physical fitness sucks as a human.
7f8e68cc19657da86cc5d28b5fd83787d0f9e6b8

Absolutely massive, Tiamat was around 100 meters long, and she was known to devour ships wholefully. Back during her glory days, the usual sacrifices demanded by her was indeed a ship full of humans, not because they’re tasty, but because why the hell not.

In this form, she was powerful enough to cause thunderstorms on demand, and when she moved, she could create tidal waves to crash into the shore. Her formidable knowledge of magic was really just the icing of the cake. But the problem is, she is rather immobile and rarely moved, if at all due to her sheer size. And that was what doomed her when Anu sealed her millenias ago.

Also, no. She cannot fly despite the picture.

And if one wondered how she do –that-, stop.

Please.

-Her favorite food is fishes. She forgot about how she eaten enough back during her dragon days, but she did remember that the method was not entirely natural

-As a human, she enjoyed alcohol. At night, expect her to spend half of it in the nearest bar.

-Don’t mention any versions of Tiamat from mythology or fiction to her. It was one of her berserk buttons.

-The reason she chose a human form vastly different from her dragon form was because on how she want to be as detached as possible from her past.

Was half unconscious when I made this. Probably messed up a lot of things. Please tell me what should I fix.

And I'm really resisting the urge to make a yo momma joke here.

Ain, dragons can't quite do human magic, and humans can't do dragon magic. You imply that her abilities were sealed away, but dragons don't have the same capacity as humans. Dragons only have their biologically given abilities, which while could range a lot, are not the same and can't be taught.
"Dragonkind or not, I will strike down all evil."

Personal Information3PlD1Dt.png
Name: Siegfried
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Race: Nature Dragon
3PlD1Dt.png

Siegfield_Ototsugu_Konoe.png
Siegfried is around 6'3" in height.
3PlD1Dt.png
Once, Siegfried was just another simple-minded hero. He was easily manipulated, trusting and naive, and he saw the world in black and white, while never actually noticing the corruption all around him unless it was blatant or he was notified of it (often by someone else who was equally corrupt). Raised by a simple blacksmith, he cared little for the ways of sophistication. He travelled the country, living by the sword and enforcing his own ideals upon the world, using force whenever he deemed necessary. Not the philosophical type who pondered his actions, it was too often that he was quickly moved to arms.

While he still maintains much of these traits, he is a lot less sure of himself and more cautious of the effects of his own actions.
It happened when he had the misfortune to be noticed by Mammon, who enjoyed toying most sadistically with those with misguided notions. Mammon erased an entire village off the map in his dragon form, right before Siegfried's eyes, before joining Siegfried as a sympathizer and companion, supposedly the sole survivor of the destruction and seeking revenge. Travelling with Siegfried and gaining his trust, Mammon used subtle measures to urge Siegfried's violent side while slyly making sure all responsibility for the Siegfried's actions rested solely upon Siegfried's shoulders.

Siegfried left a path of devastation across the country, slaying all that Mammon decreed to be even mildly corrupt, and even punishing petty thieves who were merely victims of the circumstances. In the end, Mammon appeared before Siegfried in his full dragon form, however, as Siegfried sought to slay him, Mammon told him that he had no right to be a messenger of justice. The two returned to the places where they had previously visited, and Mammon explained the aftermath of Siegfried's reckless action. Mammon flew off, meanwhile leaving Siegfried crushed by his own guilt.
He lost much of his bluster and, while still outwardly maintaining the image of being a upstanding hero, sank into a long-lasting depression. Full of self-doubt, he in fact became even more reliant on the judgement of others. Still touting his lines of justice, it can become apparent to the more perceptive that he is not so passionate about his words. He became prone to sinking into the frenzy of battle, his sword the only thing he yet holds pride and confidence in.
The child of two nature dragons which Sigmund slew, he was sealed into a child form and sent to Sigmund's wife, while Sigmund rode into further battles, eventually meeting his fate at the hands of the great mage, Odin. Unwilling to raise the child herself, Sigmund's wife instead sent the newborn to a relative, a blacksmith who lived in a small village, and Siegfried was raised as a blacksmith's son.

He grew up to inherit Sigmund's sword, Gram, and went to slay the dragon Fafnir. Bathing in Fafnir's blood, Siegfried's sigil came undone, and he realized his draconic identity. Still able to transform back, Siegfried resumed the guise of a human and used his newfound power to enforce justice upon the world.

He arrived quite a deal of time prior to the start of the RP, evident in his full unsealing of his draconic form.
He can speak to animals, especially birds, and gains access to all sorts of intel. Due to being able to feel the flow of nature, he can channel his mana to some degree to harden his own scales.

Upon returning to the human world, he retrieved his legendary sword Gram, with the power the cut through even dragon scales, and combined with his immense draconic strength and legendary swordsmanship, he is a most fearsome enemy, carrying the title of a Dragonslayer.

kaitolos_headshot_2.png

"Some things never change, it seems."

Name: Kaitolos "Kai" Alecsavra ("Alex" to his human acquaintances)

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Race: Force Dragon
Kaitolos_1.png

In his human form, Kai is roughly 6 feet tall, with an athletic, thin build. His light brown hair is rather long and unkempt, and he has golden yellow eyes. He's rather attractive, though more would call him cute than traditionally handsome. Preferring comfort and economy over any sort of human fashion sense (a concept that is entirely alien to him) Kai can always be found wearing hoodies, baggy pants, and comfortable, cheap sneakers. He owns few articles of clothing, and as a result what he does have is a bit worn (though not to the point of any of it being unwearable). Though not a constant part of his appearance, (as Kai is still having difficulty getting used to his new-found susceptibility to temperature changes and overheats on occasion) Kai tries as often as possible to wear long sleeves in order to hide the two sigils on his forearms, as well as a third, larger sigil on his back. To onlookers, Kai seems disinterested and bored, perhaps even a bit sad. He slouches often, and its rare to see him crack a full smile (though when he does it is noticeably bright and genuine).  Despite the worn clothing and messy hair, Kai always gives off a calm air of stability. He never appears to be dirty or overly tired, and is always rather composed, never taking very long to gather his thoughts to speak or make up his mind, yet at the same time never seeming like he's in a rush. Kai has a blunt, matter-of-fact way of speaking, which is often peppered with a bit of disdain and sarcasm. As well, Kai has developed a very slight Brooklyn accent due to the amount of time he's spent in New York.

Kai is impulsive, cynical, and blunt, yet at the same time he is honorable (to the point of chivalry), kind, and even a bit idealistic. From birth, Kai exhibited personality traits that are, for dragons, rather uncommon. Unlike his peers, Kai has always held on to a strong sense of morality, never displaying the greed and malice that many of his kind are wont to flaunt. Quite the opposite, in fact, Kai is a very kind-hearted soul, and feels genuinely for his fellow beings. Kai has always felt a strong desire to help those in need, and strives to do good and see others do good.  He also has a strong sense of honor, and dislikes those who target others weaker than themselves. He'll always stick up for someone he feels needs defending, and is fiercely loyal to those he feels deserve his time and energy (namely those he feels are genuine). However, due to his traumatizing experiences in the human-dragon war of long ago, Kai has become jaded and cynical, and his outlook on life has become noticeably more grim.

Having joined the war effort out of a sense of obligation to his people rather than any genuine eagerness to enter combat, Kai was nonetheless forced to bear witness to, and in many cases commit, many of the horrific atrocities of the war. As a result, Kai feels both guilty and used. He is disgusted at the horrible things that he witnessed during the war, and feels guilty for not trying harder to stop them from occurring. At the same time, however, Kai resents those who took advantage of his sense of duty to force him into that situation. All of these emotions combined have caused Kai to feel a great deal of anger and hatred toward both humanity and his own kind. He find's dragonkind's racist attitude of superiority and inherent selfishness disgusting, yet at the same time he also despises humanity's seemingly boundless cruelty. However, rather than cause him to outright lash out at the world around him, Kai's experiences have affected his outlook on life. He has become cynical and grim, and his once-fierce idealism has been heavily tempered by his new-found realistic outlook. He's become much less trusting and more perceptive since the war, and as a result has become rather apt at finding and pointing out flaws in others and himself, and has also become a rather excellent judge of character.

Though his nature prevents him from being outright pessimistic and hateful, Kai tends to see and expect the worst from people. This doesn't stop him from striving to bring out the best in others and try to do good, but Kai expects and prepares for no one to do the same. Though he still clings to his ideals, Kai's experiences have caused him to develop a seemingly detached, uncaring attitude. He peppers his conversations with sarcasm and wit, and tends to come off as laid back, sarcastic, and apathetic. However, this is more or less a front composed of equal parts Kai's cynicism and his own defense mechanisms. Though Kai wants to be good and kind, he is hesitant to open up to anyone for fear of having his kindness and loyalty be taken advantage of again. Kai isn't as trusting as he once was, and he has become very hesitant to get too deeply involved in the affairs of others since his arrival in the present day. He still does his best to help others and do what he feels is right, but he makes a point to never become indebted to anyone and rarely asks for any kind of compensation. This has of course contributed to his rather bohemian lifestyle, but in Kai's mind, the hardship he endures because of it is at least some form of penance for his past sins.

Underneath his morality and bitter exterior, however, Kai is still a dragon at heart. Known for their energy and liveliness, the force dragons from which Kai is descended often act on impulse and desire, and tend to be rather boisterous, fun loving, and confrontational. Though Kai's personality is decidedly un-draconic and a bit laid-back, some of his heritage still manages to shine through. Like his kin, he is impulsive, making his decisions on the fly and drifting from one place to another frequently. In addition, though he'll rarely show it, Kai loves excitement. Its in his nature to enjoy a wild party or a thrill, and despite his aversion to conflict, Kai most definitely revels in a good brawl so long as he feels he is in the right. In short, though his personal ideals and lifestyle rarely allow him to express it, Kai craves excitement and thrills, and loves to have a good time on the rare occasion that he feels comfortable with letting himself cut loose. In addition, Kai takes after some of the stone dragons that he was raised amongst, as he is much more introspective than his kin, and is given to waxing philosophical on occasion.

One of the last scions of a dwindling number of force dragons, Kai was was the last to hatch of a clutch of only three eggs. As his own clan was rather small,  Kai and his siblings were allowed to live amongst another clan of stone dragons during the ancient era, a kindness that had a profound impact on the formation of Kai's ideals. During his childhood, Kai took the stone dragons' slow, contemplative outlook on life to heart, learning to respect the land and focus on the improvement of one's self. As he grew, Kai found meaning in charity and good deeds, combining the stone dragons' philosophy with his own family's active and energetic lifestyle to formulate a foundation for his beliefs that was wholly his own: proactively seeking to do good and right wrongs, while bettering ones' self and staying loyal to your roots and family. Kai's formative years were good to him, his nature making him fast friends with both other dragons (who were rather fond of his penchant for helping add to their hordes) and humans in nearby settlements who took his rather benevolent presence as a sign of good fortune.

It was not meant to last, however, and just as Kai was finishing his adolescence, relations between dragonkind and humanity broke down. It wasn;t clear who struck first, but before long much of the world was engulfed in warfare. The dragons, for their part, quickly began fighting amongst themselves for territory and power, as well as the humans, who stayed unified. In the midst of all of this, Kai volunteered to go to battle for his native clans, his sense of honor and loyalty telling him it was the right course of action. Being a a force dragon, Kai's natural abilities were well suited to warfare, and he quickly became an elite soldier in the dragon armies. Unfortunately, this put Kai on the front lines of the war, and as it intensified, his unit was forced to participate in a series of bloody massacres, razing human settlements and immolating any survivors. The humans, of course, struck back violently, raiding dragon nests, destroying eggs, and ambushing those dragons who set out on their own. Worse still, Kai's clan became embroiled in warfare with other dragons, and Kai soon found himself in battle with his own kind. The atrocities he witnessed weighed heavily on his conscience, and as the war came to a close Kai felt he could no longer bear the weight of the sins he'd seen and committed. He deserted the war effort, vowing to repent for the events of the war. However, before Kai had a chance to return home to do so, he was ambushed by a human raid and sealed.

When he next regained consciousness, Kai found himself in a different body, nude and shivering on a Central Park bench in Manhattan. At first it was rather difficult for Kai to get by, both because he was not used to his new body and because, as he soon found out, New York can be a very unwelcoming place. It took Kai a few weeks to get himself acquainted, having received some clothes at a homeless shelter and having picked up just enough of the language to be able to communicate with the help of nonverbal indication. Since then, Kai has drifted from one part of town to another (often ending up in Brooklyn) doing odd jobs and staying with anyone willing to give him shelter in exchange for doing odd jobs or some other work. Though the past 5 months since his arrival have been difficult, Kai has taken it in stride, seeing this new life as a chance to repent for the mistakes he made during the war. During this time he has learned to partially polymorph his body, giving him access to miniature versions of his dragon claws that form around his forearms in a manner similar to gauntlets, and is in the process of learning to form his wings. However, Kai has made a point of keeping his draconic heritage secret, going by the name "Alex" when addressed by humans and avoiding polymorphing in sight of others whenever possible. In addition to training his polymorphing skills, Kai has taken up meditation (which he does for roughly an hour each day to help clear his mind), having learned about he practice from a Buddhist he met and befriended during a stay in Queens. As well, having become fluent in the English language (mostly, idioms are very difficult for him and he'll occasionally run into trouble finding the right word for a sentence), he has begun to learn to write. He is currently residing at a boarding house in Manhattan, making a wage doing odd jobs and trying to help those in need when he can.

ff12473741f060_full.jpg

Kai's Dragon form is rather large, standing at roughly 16 meters with a wingspan of 33 meters. Most of his body is covered in thick scales hardened by the many impacts a force dragon suffers as they learn to manipulate kinetic energy. This includes Kai's heavily armored wings, which make excellent shields, although their weight limits their use for flying somewhat. The dark spikes covering Kai's neck can be launched as high-speed projectiles, and they grow back in much the same way and timeframe human fingernails do.

• K/P Energy Manipulation: What Force Dragons are best known for. Kai is able to freely manipulate the kinetic and potential energy of his own body. Kai is able to concentrate his kinetic or potential energy into portions of his body, which has a number of uses depending on where and how he makes use of it.  By concentrating his energy into his feet, Kai is able to vault off of the ground at high speeds, either to cover distance quickly in a lunge, or to jump a great height. If used in any of his limbs (or his tail, in dragon form), Kai can greatly increase the destructive force of his physical strikes, and is easily able to shatter materials like concrete. While in his human state, this ability is suppressed somewhat, as the amount of energy his body can make use of is limited. When partially polymorphed, Kai's kinetic energy reserves increase, and he is able to hit harder and move farther, and so on until he returns to his full dragon form. While in his dragon state, Kai is also able to use this ability to launch the black spikes that run down his head, neck, and back as projectile weapons, and he is able to fly with minimal use of his armored wings by concentrating kinetic energy within them.
 • K/P Energy Absorption:  Kai is also able to absorb the Kinetic and Potential energy of any object he comes into contact with. Absorbing kinetic energy allows Kai to greatly lessen the damage from any physical attack or projectile that hits him, such as punches and bullets. However, he is unable to absorb anything but kinetic energy, and so things like heat from explosions, magical energy, etc still cause him damage despite him being able to lessen the raw destructive force. In his human form, this ability is suppressed somewhat, as he is unable to completely shrug off damage from physical projectiles or strikes (bullets will occasionally break skin and draw blood when he is completely in human form, for instance). This ability gets more potent as Kai becomes more draconic, with it becoming full strength once he returns to his draconic form. Any kinetic energy Kai absorbs can be used to further enhance his own movement through his manipulation abilities, though there is a limit on just how much energy he can store, which also grows as he returns to his true form.
 • K/P Energy Transferrence: Kai is also able to transfer his own kinetic energy to other objects, accelerating their motion and making handy projectiles out of ordinary objects. Most common are graspable objects that can be thrown, like the rocks or boulders of Kai's former desert home, and in human form this ability is limited only to objects that Kai can grasp. Partially polymorphed, Kai is able to accelerate objects roughly his size and smaller, and in his full dragon form he is able to affect objects a good deal larger than himself. This ability can also be used in conjunction with his breath weapon to create a spherical, sparking vortex of air and particles that can be thrown or rammed onto an opponent directly for heavy damage.
 • Polymorphing: At present, Kai is only able to reliably polymorph his claws, which are proportional to his human body and seem to form around his forearms like a pair of gauntlets. He is also able to polymorph his wings, though he has little control over that transformation as of yet, and it is currently mutually exclusive with his claws.
 • Breath Weapon: A force Dragon does not posses a breath weapon in the traditional sense, as they do not exhale fire or energy from an internal source. Rather, a force dragon inhales air and particulates from its surroundings, and uses its kinetic energy abilities to accelerate the air and particulates into a supersonic, spherical vortex. The particulates within collide, creating heat and sparks. This vortex is then fired at a target at extremely high speed, and is capable of causing a good deal of damage, flaying skin and shattering bone with effects similar to that of a sandstorm and a bullet combined.
 • Armored Scales: Though they are made of a similar material to that of most other dragons, Kai's scales are layered more thickly and cover more of his hide than other dragons (including his wings). They're a good deal harder as well thanks to the many impacts he suffered as a hatchling while learning to control kinetic energy. In short, Kai's scales offer him a greater measure of defense than the average dragon, and also protect him from any damage he may incur while moving at high speeds and delivering kinetically enhanced strikes.
 • Draconic Durability: Like all sealed dragons, Kai's human form is a good measure stronger and more durable than the average human. Though he isn't impervious, Kai can take a good deal more punishment than a human would normally be able to stand. As well, he is a good deal stronger and faster than the average human, able to hit harder and move more quickly. As he polymorphs further, these attributes increase in strength until Kai re-attains his full measure of power in his true form.

Theme: One OK Rock- Deeper Deeper

Kai very much enjoys strategy games like chess and mahjong, as well as contact sports like football and hocky (though he can't ice skate very well). His favorite color is silver, and his favorite food is toast covered in cinnamon sugar and butter.

"I bring calamity to this world."

Personal Information

Name: Kalameet

Age: 30

Gender: Male

Race: One-Eyed Black Dragon
one_eyed_by_shamcy_zpsaad02ca3.jpg

In his human form, Kalameet stands 180cm (just a hair or so under six feet) tall, while displaying the sort of athletic figure one might see from one who is more agile than strong.  Curiously, very little of the black color of which he was so fond can be found upon his actual body while trapped in his human form.  True to the draconic body he left behind, he has only a single eye as a human which seems to shine and glimmer with its own dark orange light (and is not in fact yellow like the picture shows).  As far as clothing, Kalameet has taken a liking to the suit-like attire he has had since shortly after returning to the mortal world: a white shirt, black slacks, black leather shoes, striped red and purple tie, and a black overcoat to tie everything together.  As for the tattoos, well one wouldn't see them unless they caught the dragon naked in his human form.  The stylized images of a hornet, hawk, wolf, and lion adorn his chest, arranged in a circle about his sternum.

Kalameet has never been accused of being careful and if anything could very easily be considered to be reckless or perhaps more correctly, arrogant.  His arrogance stems from his belief that there is nothing capable of seriously harming him, a belief which proved harmful to him in the past, and his complete and utter hatred for humans.  Because of this hatred, he is incensed by the fact that he has been trapped inside of "so small and feeble a body as this" by whatever force it is that still binds him, and furthermore he seeks a way to permanently tear away the bindings which keep him from returning to his true form and power.

As much as he despises humans though, he loves his own kind.  He seeks to find all the dragons that are returning to the world and gather them together so that they might stand the best chance of returning to their own forms and thus stand the best chance of reclaiming the world for their own with little regard for what might become of the humans.  However, he is quite prideful and something of a braggart among his own kind with a common boast being that he was the last of them to be imprisoned at the end of the war.  All the same, he seeks to unite those dragons that he finds together "so that the mistakes of the past might not be repeated."  True to this, he believes it was folly that the dragons fought among themselves rather than simply uniting and obliterating their enemies.

Even in the ancient times when humans and dragons coexisted, Kalameet found his people's smaller neighbors...distasteful.  Though none might be certain which side started their conflict, the black dragon did very little to prevent it coming about, and even enacted raids against human settlements when relations first began to break down.  Though there is one thing notable about this curious dragon which occurred before the war broke out, the fact that he has only one eye when the majority of his kin have two or more.  This is purely a vagary of his line of dragons, and is connected with their link to the strange and ill-understood form of pseudo-magic that is psionics.  Their single eye serves the double-purpose of providing vision, and acting as a conduit for their psionic abilities, which more than make up for what might normally be a lack of depth perception.  Never a common species, these One-Eyed Black Dragons disappeared rather quickly in the war and Kalameet believes himself the last.

As for the war between humans and dragons, when it first broke out Kalameet was on the front lines as often as he could manage and there he sought to strike down all who opposed him.  Whole kingdoms and nations fell prey to the Black Dragon's ire, and he thought the might of himself and his people invincible...until the day came that he was assailed by one of his own brothers.  Yes, a black dragon of the very same clutch from which Kalameet was hatched attacked him and when that battle was dealt with he turned his gaze upon his own.  Here he saw that things were not going so well as he had thought, and thus he retired from the front lines in an attempt to unite his people again.  This is how he spent the last days of the war, and is why he was not imprisoned with those fighting on the front.

He did manage to unite a force of dragons, but it was too little too late.  However, he was not about to give up the fight simply because they were outnumbered and in his arrogance he believed that he and those with him could win.  The first battle they fought after the humans had learned how to seal them away only further inspired him in this way, as they lost none of their number and annihilated an entire army of human soldiers.  Of course, their defeat seemed inevitable as over the centuries of their campaign against the humans left their numbers depleted until only Kalameet remained.  But that did not stop him, for even alone he was a force capable of bringing entire nations of mortals to their knees and every attempt to lay him low so that he could be sealed failed.  That is...until one.  He was confronted by a group of four Dragon Slaying Knights, and laid low by Sword, Spear, Bow, and poisoned Dagger prior to being sealed in that dimension of eternal slumber...or at least apparently eternal.  Thus the last of the ancient dragons fell...but only for so long, until the mysterious machinations that brought the rest of his kin into the world as well.

So many thousands of years later, Kalameet burst forth violently from that other dimension and found himself in a human city with no knowledge of his surroundings.  Of course he quickly discovered that he was in a human form, and also naked.  Thus he quickly rectified the latter situation, killing a passing businessman and taking his clothes from his corpse before heading out into the city.  Thinking himself alone, he at first began seeking any way that he could find to break whatever curse it was that held him in this weak and feeble body.  Of course that was before he became aware of the fact that other dragons were emerging back into the world, and from there he changed his goal.  Now he seeks to find and gather his kin together for a twofold purpose: to unite his people and prevent them turning against one another again, and to give them the best chance of both finding a way to break the bonds keeping them in human form and ultimately reclaiming the world.

Psionics:

The One-Eyed Black Dragons were inherently psionic creatures.  Mostly, this took the form of allowing them to communicate with each other and other dragons by establishing a mental link to them.  The link requires only that two dragons have met before, and the One-Eye properly identified their unique psionic signature.  Once this is done, the two can be connected across great distances to allow for communication at the speed of thought.  Not exactly something that can be used offensively, the psionic communication is merely useful for that.  Of course, the psionics of his kind allow Kalameet a sort of "active scanning" of his environment.  A very literal sixth sense with which he can perceive the world around him and augment the information from the other five, and thus make up for the lack of depth perception.  Not exactly locked away, but outside of his true draconic form the range of both his communication and extrasensory perception is severely reduced.

Eye Wide Open:

The only actually offensive form of psionics wielded by the OEBDs, this ability is part of the reason that Kalameet was so feared by humans during the war against the dragons and his campaign against them afterwards.  Named as such because of the great light that shines from his single eye when it is performed (which is also the only warning a foe will have), as far as range of effectiveness it is quite similar to a Breath Weapon.  Everything in a conical spread out from the eye is assailed by a wave of psionic force striking directly at their minds.  Mostly an adaptation of the psionic abilities inherent to all One-Eyes, this is their only method of attack beyond the standard physical means.  It has been noted that those of stronger wills are able to withstand it for a longer period of time, but ultimately the effects of exposure to the psionic power are lethal.  Momentary exposure will likely result in feelings of disorientation or intense nausea, while remaining longer within the effect will often lead to partial or total paralysis, hemorrhaging, and death as one's mind is overloaded by the psionic force striking it.  Terrifying even to other dragons, however, is those moments when the psionic energy is focused in onto a single target.  While this can make it easier to avoid, by virtue of getting out of the way before he can properly fix onto his prey, it is all the same far more lethal than the standard spray.  Death can come in mere moments for the fool exposed to the raw power of a Psionic Dragon, and it is almost always quite the messy end.  In either case, the use of this power requires Kalameet to wait several moments before attacking with it again and can often give his prey a chance to escape certain death.  In human form its power is significantly reduced, with the most threat to humans from the spray being nausea to the point of vomiting and the focused strike requiring nearly a minute of his concentration to actually kill, but still capable of inflicting harm.  This often takes the form of bleeding from the eyes, mouth, nose, or ears.

High Speed Flight:

Kalameet was in ancient times renowned for the speed with which he could fly, even among his own people.  He could outrun nearly any other dragon on the wing, and there was only a single bow whose arrows could catch him.  This high speed led to the distinctive shrieking sound of his wings upon the air, which was all the warning his foes would receive.  As he cannot take his true form currently, he cannot fly.

Unnatural Attributes:

All dragons are many times stronger, tougher, and more agile than their human counterparts and Kalameet is no exception.  Blows that would fell the greatest of men are practically as nothing against his scales, assuming they can even catch this particularly agile member of dragonkind, and his legs and tail can bring down blows capable of tearing multiple men cleanly in two and even ripping apart small buildings.  Of course he's not quite so strong or tough in his human form, though both are well above the human norm.  He still maintains a high level of agility, allowing him to duck dodge and weave around a foe in combat.

Claws like Meat Hooks and Spear-like Tail:

Like it says on the tin, his claws are like meat hooks and his tail like a spear.  Both lethally sharp and both wicked to look upon.  For obvious reasons, he cannot access either of these most certainly lethal weapons in his human form and thus is deprived of his more practical close combat weapons.  Of course this doesn't stop him from trying to claw at his foes anyways...with mixed results.

Kh63oam.jpg

“This age...gotta say, its starting to really rock!”

3PlD1Dt.pngPersonal Information

Name: [acronym='Aidan Drake']Aerog[/acronym]
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Race: Fire Dragon
Aidan stands at 5'9 and weighs in at 160 lbs. His tattoo is of a interesting tribal flame which appear not only on his right shoulder (where that dragon tattoo currently is in the appearance) but as well as the left shoulder, except it is flipped to be a mirror image of the right shoulder. His tattoo seal also comes with the "X" flame pattern right in the center of his chest, the upside down "V" flame pattern on the back of his neck, and two of the top left on each wrist (which he does his best to hide).
3PlD1Dt.png
With Fire Dragons usually being labelled as the dragons that will literally explode in your face and start pointless rage induced fights, Aerog/Aidan is quite the opposite. He does his best not to do anything crazy (such as get too agitated or annoying others to a point where a conflict ensues). However, as a Fire Dragon, his hot tempered nature usually comes out when Aerog gets TOO agitated. When this happens, it results in him going to blows with the other person (or dragon).

Aerog/Aidan has developed a strong love for music (for the human expression, music soothes the savage beast), and his current favorite his Rock (Contemporary, Classical Rock, etc). This is just one of the ways he finds an escape from his temper before it gets too out of control, whether its him strumming a few cords on his own guitar or listening to it via IPod (cause dragons can use this stuff too!), he finds comfort in it.

Beneath his appearance(s), lies a very bright and fiery heart of gold, as Aerog/Aidan is quite friendly despite his punk rocker (or scaly) appearance. This is one thing he's kept the same before he was sealed, his friendly nature...be it to humans or dragons. He tries his best to treat those near him the same, be them sealed dragons, unbound dragons, or even humans...as he believes within them, other than the outward appearances and strengths the two separate species have...they are all the same. Because of this, some of the dragons (and we're talking the "high and mighty", "humans are a plague to dragons" styled dragons) try to distance themselves from him for this way of thinking.

As a Fire Dragon, Aerog/Aidan isn't without his triggers. There aren't too many things to set him off, but be careful what you say or do around him. Attacking/Belittling the humans or weaker dragons, messing with his music (be it with his guitar or IPod), or slandering the Fire Dragons or bringing in his kind when anyone is talking about how he thinks about the humans and dragons are just a few ways to push Aerog/Aidan over the edge.

But setting his temper off is the least of anyone's troubles with Aerog/Aidan. Surprisingly, with his current human form, his self-absorbed, wild, and impulsive nature translates very easily with it. Even back as an unbound Fire Dragon, he never thought through anything he did, acting on the spur of the moment. Most usually, that got the young Fire Dragon in a lot of hot water, so this is indeed a drawback for him. However, a second drawback of Aerog/Aidan is that he is very easily bored. No matter what he was trying to do or in the process of doing prior...he just simply gets easily bored, and for that boredom, he fills that up with either the music he listens to or the spicy foods he loves.

The only hatchling of a proud pair of Fire Dragon mates, Aerog grew up much different than other dragons of his kind. Whilst others wanted to pick fights with other dragons for no reason...Aerog extended a friendly claw to others, which surprised both his own kind and the other kinds of dragons.

The young Fire Dragon just continued to live his life in his strange way, even causing a few humans to enjoy his company wherever he went. However, the good times of these days were put to a halt, as the age of the war between humans and dragons started. Aerog saw humans he once considered allies and friends get either killed or having them turn on him and his dragonic brethren. Because of this, Aerog had no choice but to aid the dragons within the war, but hated every waking moment of it. It wasn't too long as the war progressed, that Aerog too fell to defeat, loosing the will to fight after harming so many humans. And it was then...he was banished to the other dimension to live out the rest of his days.

...or so he thought.

Five months before the other dragons would return, he found himself alive...but in human form and with the tattoo seals that bound him to this form. In search of living a life, hoping that his seal would soon be undone, Aerog found refuge in New York City and hid under the guise of "Aidan Drake", a twenty year old punk rocker.
Enhanced Strength/Speed/Durability: Well he's sealed dragon, so of course he'd keep most of his attributes of a strong dragon! Just however, they are a bit nerfed than any unbounds.

Fire Breath: As a pure Fire Dragon, it is only natural that Aerog has the ability to breath fire. However, with his sealing as a human, this ability has been weakened quite a bit. The full power of it was a long ranged strike for this, but has now become a short ranged to mid ranged attack.

Pyrokenesis: As a Fire Dragon, Aerog/Aidan is able touch and manipulate fire and flames to use for attacks such as fireballs and even for other reasons for lighting a room if needed.

Fiery Touch: With this, anything Aerog/Aidan touches becomes heated, making anything he comes in contact with to start to either burn or melt (depending on his mood and even his concentration). However, this ability is usually done by using Aerog/Aidan's internal fire.

 • Aerog's human name means the following: Aidan - Little Fire and Drake - Dragon. In short terms, Aerog made his name completely unoriginal and his human name can be translated as "Little Fire Dragon" or just "Fire Dragon".
 • As a Fire Dragon, Aidan absolutely adores hot and spicy food, usually putting quite an unusual amount of peppers and hot sauce on almost every dish he enjoys. Though, he's trying not to eat TOO much of the human cuisine.
“The sun shines on all of us to lift our spirits. I only wish I could do the same.”
Personal Information

Name: Viintaas Jusk

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Race: Sun Dragon
330680-bigthumbnail.jpg
Viintaas in human form stands at about six feet tall with very lightly toned muscles. He gets slightly more of his height from his legs than his upper body giving him a slightly lanky look to him. This tattoo symbol spreads across his back. It is dark orange in color and glows a brilliant golden color while Viintaas is tapping into his dragon powers.

Though not the most common trait among Dragons, Viintaas has always been driven to learn. He can be guilty of annoying people from asking too many questions. How and why things work the way they do are questions always somewhere in the back of his mind no matter what he's doing. That can on occasion cause him to zone out as he thinks to himself but he's general okay at engaging himself when in conversation.

Viintaas' general mood is usually linked to the weather conditions and how much sunlight he's had of late. When it's sunny out he's positive and upbeat. He feels driven not only to learn but to be happy and make others happy. Sometimes wanting to make others happy makes him a little gullible and lets others use him. Finding this out greatly hurts him. Being energetic he can get worked up pretty easily especially on subjects that greatly interest him like the sun, humans, and the stars and astrology. Though not aggressive he will fight to protect himself or friends without too much hesitation.

When it's overcast or hasn't been very sunny for awhile Viintaas becomes much less energetic and even almost depressed. He turns inward and focuses more directly on his own needs such as food. The longer he goes without direct sunlight the more the thought of getting back into the sun begins to take over his mind. He can be irritable and rude when like this.

Being almost bipolar according to the amount of light he gets concerns Viintaas. He's pretty sure his energetic happy self is who he actually is and the rest is just side effects from light deprivation. But that doesn't stop him from trying to make it up to people if he hurt them while he was grumpy.

Viintaas hails from a tribe of dragons that had a unique bond with the sun and light in general. They weren't particularly large dragons and didn't find much interest in fighting whether with humans or other dragons. Instead they stayed to their home in the tops of the higher mountains of the world to stay as close to the sun as they could. Basking in light provided them with strength and they wished to peacefully enjoy doing so. Occasionally they would interact with humans but really only the daring ones who tried to climb large mountains while clearly not being built for it.

Viintaas himself was always quite curious, especially about humans. He explored the lower portions of the mountain ranges his tribe traveled to and observed human life. His only real interactions with humans came from saving mountain climbers he would see in distress. From this and other similar encounters with his tribe they came to be known as peaceful among humans.

Eventually though dragons and humans went to war. And despite their preference for peace, Viintaas' tribe joined the conflict. Viintaas himself participated in a few battles but mostly tried to learn more about humans. It proved a difficult task when all he had to work with was the left overs from battlefields. And then before anyone really knew what had happened they were all sealed away.

Viintaas doesn't recall much at all from his time being sealed. He can just recall missing the light. And then suddenly it was there again. But he was different. From all he could tell he looked like a human. He saw he was in some rather lifeless looking field somewhere. He noticed the lack of clothing he had as the humans he observed had always covered themselves with animal skins but he didn't think too much about it. He's been in the human world for only a day and during that time has traveled toward these large objects he saw off in the distance. They seemed like the little towns the humans would make but much larger judging by how he could see them from so far away. To make sense of anything he felt he needed to go there.

2hya0t1.jpg

Stands's about as tall as a simple two story house. Not a huge dragon by any means.

-Light Conversion: Viintaas can take in light to provide himself with strength. It can't completely take over for eating but it helps him keep going while meals are scarce. In human form if it's clear and sunny out he becomes stronger and more athletic. In dragon form his body is able to store the energy from light in his scales and release it in quick bursts to make attacks stronger. For example while his claws are quite normal, with a burst of stored energy they can cut through certain stones. It can also be used to strengthen his scales against attacks. Light's tricky to work with though and Viintaas can easily release more than he intended to along with some of his own energy so they can be quite tiring.

-Partial transformation: Viintaas of course wanted to try and become a dragon again and has found that so far he can bring out his claws long enough for one good swipe and that he can summon his wings long enough really only to make a stronger than normal jump. He's tried to summon his scales to better absorb light but can't cover more than about one human hand worth of space for very long. Hardly any good for storing light at the moment.

-Adaptive Reasoning: Due to always being curious and getting caught up in all sorts of interesting things Viintaas has developed good problem solving skills. If things were always calm enough to think them out he might not have to act on instincts as much.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ2Wea1_PmM
-Viintaas secretly yearns for love... sort of. He hasn't really set his mind to finding a girl yet but it's on his mind somewhere.
-Sunset is always stressful for Viintaas. There's always some point or other during a sunset where he convinces himself the sun isn't going to rise again only to convince himself otherwise based on every morning of his life.
