Armoire
2 Level 8 DARK monsters When this card is Xyz Summoned: Return all banished "Archfiend" cards to the Graveyard. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; add 1 "Archfiend" card from your Graveyard to your hand, and if you do, destroy 1 card on the field.
Created an Xyz monster because Palabyrinth really promotes that. And since Archfiends spend their resources rather quickly in Palabyrinth builds, I kind of wanted the Xyz to replenish their sources as well as offer some destruction to the opponent's side of the build. Life point cost for Archfiend flavor. If you use Palabyrinth, you can go into 2 Level 8 Archfiends pretty quickly to get this guy out, but then you probably banished about 2 Archfiends that are difficult to get back. This guy is supposed to fix all of that. The effect isn't very creative, but I think this would help the archetype out a lot. I'm not sure about the overall design. Philemon
Recommended name change: Archfiend Marshal, it's much more concise and striking in my book. Other then that card seems ok, graveyard effect meshes well with Palabyrinth, and the fact that it's vulnerable to regular destruction is an good drawback, but just scrap the 500 LP altogether. It's at best a minor annoyance, and clashes with the rest of the effect.

So, for the sake of flavor I dunno. I might do an ATK reduction if I did that name change. And the 500 LP cost was just to fit in with the Archfiend costs, but I don't mind taking that out either. Short of using a foreign version of Emperor (Tsar, Kaiser, Maharaja, etc.), there's not much you can do to keep the meaning intact. So while theoretically the King (or Emperor) rules over his army and holds their loyalty, a Marshal has direct control over their army, and is the one making decisions. And as far as I know, the LP costs have been mostly a feature of the original (Chess themed) Archfiend cards, not so much for the newer royalty ones.
