Sawt0othGrin
Would it see play? Would it be worth it?
Sander
Outside from Exodia and Life EqualizerTK? No, it will not see any play, because no sane person wants to give their opponent to search for any card that they wish, but the alt win con decks do not care about that fact because the player will either keep drawing and not passing the turn to their opponent OR they will just set a bunch of stall cards, so any of those cards that your opponent searched might not even make a dent. tl;dr: Badly designed alt win con enabler. Hydra Iron Man
Tone the effect down, because it is extremely op for your opponent. here is what the effect should be: Draw 2 cards. Select 1 card that you drew: Banish it. Your opponent draws 1 card. Oh and besides. The picture is from an existing card, the Spirit of the Pot of Greed

J-Max
This card is literally Pot of Greed with an effect tacked onto it. Sure you get the +1 that Pot offers but your opponent also gets a +1. Not only that, your opponent gets to choose what to add to their hand. That is way too powerful of a Drawback. Sawt0othGrin
Thanks for the input! I was mainly just testing the water to see how far people would be willing to go for the almighty +1 What about if the card read: "Draw 2 cards. Your opponent draws 1 card. You can only activate one Pot of Diminishing Returns per turn." Then it becomes a +1 for a +1 and the extra condition at the end stops it from being abused by alt win conditions

Because that's totally going to balance the card.
Sawt0othGrin
Okay okay I got it. Pot of Diminishing Returns: Draw 2 cards. Reveal your hand to your opponent, your opponent selects one card from your hand; remove that card from play. Your opponent draws one card. You can only activate one Pot of Diminishing Returns per turn I'm thinking this should stop alt win abuse and nerf the card to where it isn't really good. Sir Yamiegg
I don't think it needs to be as nerfed as banishing the card from your hand. Just sending to the Grave. OR you could have it banish one of the cards you drew, at random of course. Would make it too risky for any Altwin.dek in my opinion. I like the concept a lot. ^This if you don't mind the image being anime-style?
Sawt0othGrin
or potentially you would only have to reveal the two cards drawn, your opponent chooses to banish one of them
