Ethereal Archtype- Maiden And Keepers

Okay I wanted to make a set that involved unique abiltes and qualties so here is what I have constructed

 

Maiden Group

Ethereal Maiden- Sun

Quickplay Spell

If you have no effect monsters with "Ethereal" In their name, destroy all effect monsters on both side of the field.Otherwise this card may be treated as a monster (LIGHT, LEVEL 10, FAIRY, TUNER, ATK 2000, DEF 2000) (Without occupying a monster zone.) With the effect of "When this monster is attacked by another monster with greater attack points, destroy both monsters and end the battle phase."

 

I consider this the sweepere meant to clear the feild, or an easy out for biding time.

Ethereal Maiden- Mercury Rock

Rock / Tuner Level 4

ATK/ 200 DEF/ 2000

A being closest related to Sun. It protects the holy rising ground in time of dire need.

 

A companion card to Sun, in order to have insurance in activating Sun's primary effect

 

Ethereal Maiden- Venus Fire

Pyro / Tuner Level 4

ATK/ 1300 DEF/ 1750

When this card is special or flip summoned, you may take control of one monster with lower attack points on your opponents side of the field and equip it to this card. This card gains attack and defense points equal to the monster equipped.

 

Im tempted to bump this up to a level 5 due to the rather OP effect, but in doing so I would have to add an extra line of effect in order to make it work with the main goal of this set.

 

Ethereal Maiden- Earth

Wryvem/ Tuner Level 4

ATK/ 800 Def/ 1800

This card gains 100 attack points for each card on the field. When this card is attacked by a non "Ethereal" monster, you may negate the attack special summon one "Ethereal Maiden- Moon" from your hand, deck, or graveyard to your opponents side of the field. This effect may only be used once ber duel.

 

A typical weak monster with large payoff, in the right situation this could be the most powerfull normal monster in the game. However That last line was orignaly not there, but I realised how OP it was once you see..

 

Ethereal Maiden- Moon Earth

Level 4 Rock/ Effect

ATK/0 DEF/4000

This card can not be normal summoned or set. This Card Can not be special summoned except by the effect of "Ethereal Maiden- Earth" to your opponents side of the field. When this card is attacked by an "Ethereal" Monster, this monsters defense becomes "1000", and is switched sides. If there is no monster, whos original name is "Ethereal Maiden- Earth" on the field, Banish this card. If you control this card, you gain 1000 life points for each "Ethereal" Monster on the Field each of your battle phase. If Your opponent controls this card, they take 1000 points of damage each of their battle phase.

 

A complement to earth that also acts as sort of an anchor and recovery card. However in the wrong hands it can potentaily be an unintended tank.

 

Ethereal Maiden- Mars

Trap Counter

When this card is sent to the graveyard you may special summon it as a monster. (LIGHT, FAIRY, TUNER ATTACK 1000, DEFENSE 800). When this card is destroyed as a monster, or activated normaly, special summon one "Ethereal Maiden- Phobos. Earth ATK 500 DEF 0" And one "Ethereal Maiden- Deimos, Earth ATK 0 DEF 500" as tokens on your oppoents side of the feild. They Can not be tributed and are destroyed when an attack is declared.

 

I was inspired by the pentacle monsters of Revlation of the seal of orichalchos when constructing mars, however I did a few personal changes to make it fit in more with the Ethereal Maiden Family.

 

Ethereal Maiden- Jupiter Wind

Psychic/Tuner/ Effect Level 8

ATK/ 3500 DEF/ 3000

When this card is successfully normal summoned, and there is another "Ethereal Maiden" On the field, you may halve this monsters original level. When this card is destroyed, all monsters on the field are banished (Including Ethereal Maiden Jupiter)

 

This was orignaly going to be Ethereal Maiden Sun, and Vice Versa, However I switched them around because I felt the payoff was more suitable to a spell than an acutal monster so thereofe I beefed up Jup's orginal stats (ATK/ 1000 Def/ 1500 BTW) To make here a bit more ballenced.

 

Ethereal Maiden- Uranus Water

Zombie/ Tuner / Level 6

ATK 2500 DEF 1000

When this card is successfully normal summoned, and there is another "Ethereal Maiden" on the field, you may lower this monsters level by 2. When this card is attacked by a monster with lower attack, you may redirect the attack to a direct attack.

 

Uranus is meant to be an effect counter for clever monsters, I mean, most bypassing monsters that would destroy in some way dont have much to pack in actual fire power, like grand mole or equip spell monsters.

 

Ethereal Maiden- Neptune

Wind/ Tuner / Level 7

ATK/ 2400 DEF/ 2000

When this card is successfully normal summoned, and there is another "Ethereal Maiden" on the field, you may lower this monsters level by 3. If you were to take battle damage that would reduce your life points to "0" you may tribute or discard this card, and banish it to reverse battle damage, and reduce or gain your life points to 100.

 

Neptune is meant to be a last resort of sorts when your on the brink of destruction. However it also doubles as a generic powerhouse when you have trouble with its sisters Uranus and Jupiter.

 

Ethereal Maiden- Pluto

Trap Counter

 

If you have no normal monsters or tokens with "Ethereal" In their name, you may negate one attack or monster effect. Otherwise this card may be treated instead as a monster (DARK, LEVEL 1, FIEND, ATK 50, DEF 50) (Without occupying a monster zone.) With the effect of "This card is unaffected by spells, traps, or card effects. When This card is sent to the graveyard, you may special summon "Ethereal Maiden- Charon." On your opponents side of the field.

 

I like to think of Pluto as my Little personal troll card. She nulls out 0 Monsters, blocks out all other sources of offense, and when all is said and done, she leaves behind her little sister to strike payback.

 

Ethereal Maiden- Charon Light

Machine/Ritual Level 11

ATK 2000 DEF 2500

This monster can only be Ritual Summoned by the effect of "Ethereal Maiden- Pluto". At the end of the Main Phase 2 this monster was summoned, the controller of this card takes 2000 Life Points, and this card switches sides.

 

See? Charon is a nasty little bomb that chucks a huge blast radius if not delt with properly. But if this is the case, your in for a nasty drawback.

 

Ethereal Maiden Queen- Supernova Divine

Divine Beast/ Synchro Level 12

The Synchro Summon of this card can only be conducted By tuning 8 monsters with different names who orignal name contains "Ethereal Maiden" in there title. The Synchro Summon of this card can not be negated. This monster is uneffected by spell or trap cards. The Attack and Defense of this monster is equal to the Attack And Defense Used to summon it.

 

This is the big build up, the powerhouse all the little maidens combine into. Its a force of insermuntable power, but there is still ways around it if you skimp out on the sumoning conditons.

 

Ethereal Maiden Princess- Black Hole Dark

XYZ/ Zombie Rank 4

ATK 0 DEF 0

The XYZ Summon of this Card can only be Conducted by equiping 8 level four monsters of diffrent names, who's orignal name contains "Ethereal Maiden" In them. The XYZ Summoning of this card can not be negated. Before the damage step of a battle this card is involved in, equip the opposing monster to this card and this card gains attack and defense points equal to the monster equiped. When this card would be destroyed by an effect or in battle, you may detach two equiped cards to exculde this card from the effect.

 

This is a bit of an alternate approach if your feeling risky, or if your opponet has a full feild in need of nuking, and you hapen to run out of suns to spare.

Temporal Calling Of The Ethereal Plane

Spell Ritual

This card can be used to Ritual Summon "The Ethereal Gate keeper- J. Marley". You must also Tribute face-up monsters from anywhere on the field, whose total Levels Equals 13 or higher.

 

This is a roundup card and a clearout. The catch is you need a ridiclous amount of monsters to bring out the chains... but if you do you start a chain reaction like no other.

 

The Ethereal Gatekeeper- J. Marley

Dark Zombie/ Tuner Level 12

ATK 1600 DEF 1500

If this card was Ritual Summoned without using "Temporal Calling Of The Ethereal Plane." Return it to your hand at the end of your opponents next Main Phase 2. This card is treated as a Level 13 Monster. This card can attack directly if your opponent has no spell or trap cards placed. When this card is destroyed or tributed, you may special summon " The Ethereal Past- Kaya" From your hand or deck.

 

The start of it all, Marley is meant to be a rather nimble monster who inflicts chip damage enough to annoy your opponent to take him out.

 

The Ethereal Past- Kaya

Dark Warior/Tuner Level 12

ATK 1500 DEF 3000

This card can not be normal summoned. If this card is special summoned without the use of "The Ethereal Gatekeeper- J. Marely" Then this card's orignal attack doubles. Each time this monster deals battle damage to your opponent, it looses 500 Attack points, when this monster reaches 0, you may tribute this card to special summon "The Ethereal Present- Ulirch" from your hand or deck.

 

A rather strategic card witch has to be used with wise intentions, otherwise it will go to waste. Its also unique in that it is hindered by increasing its power.

 

The Ethereal Present- Ulrich

Earth Warior Level 12

ATK 2600  DEF 3600

This card can not be normal summoned or set. When this card is special summoned, place 3 "Fate Tokens" on this card. If this card was special summoned without using the effect of " The Ethereal Past- Kaya" Place 2 Additional "Fate Tokens" on this card. For each Fate token this card has, it looses 100 ATK and DEF points. When a monster is destroyed, or a spell or trap card activates, remove one fate token from this card. When this card has no fate tokens on it, you may XYZ summon "The Ethereal Future- Scyl"

 

Ulrich is meant to be a tank in every sense of the word, holding back his true power untill the time is right, and once it is, he brings out the final calling card.

 

The Ethereal Future- Scyl

Dark Wariror Rank 12

ATK 2600 DEF 3600

(Ethereal Monsters Equal to Rank 12 or Level 13) An XYZ Summon of this monster can also be conducted by the effects of "The Ethereal Past- Ulrich". If Summoned this way, this monster can not be destroyed by battle, and counts as having 3 Materials attached. By detaching one XYZ material, you may end the battle phase. When this card deals a Direct attack to your opponent, that does not result in life points reaching 0, you may tribute this monster to special summon "Death Of Ethereal- Reaper of Grim"

 

Meant to be a quick run and gun to clean up the feild in order to activate his effect, however you may well have to be carefull of traps and spells or else he will perish prematurely.

 

Death Of Ethereal- Reaper of Grim

Earth Zombie Level 1

ATK 0 DEF 0

This card can not be normal summoned or set. This card can not be special summoned except by the effect of "The Ethereal Future- Scyl". This card is uneffected by effects. When this monster attacks or is attacked, banish the opposing monster and end the battle phase. When this card sucessfully attacks your opponent directly, you win the duel.

 

Whooo Boy, this is the ultimante card. If you mange to trudge through till this point, what your left with is a bone rattling beast, who waltzes through spell, trap, and monster effects, and anything  in its path perishes, even your opponent.

 

 

Assist Group

 

Ethereal Gate

Quick Play Spell

You may pay 2000 Life points up to 8000. For Each 2000 Life point interval played, you may speical summon one banished "Ethereal" Monster.

 

Meant to counteract Some of the maidens effects in order to make it eaiser to summon the queen and princess

 

Ethereal Glove

Equip Spell

This monster can not attack face up monsters while equipped with this card. When the monster equipped with this card attacks and destroys a face down monster, that monster is banished.

 

A card used to weed out any secret effects to destroy any unweary monsters, with the cost of unable to attack the known.

 

Ethereal Spear

Counter Trap

When a chain of 2 or higher is executed (Excluding this card) you may activate this card to declare a direct attack on your opponent with any monster on your side of the feild (Regardless of phase or any chained effects.)

 

A simple little burn card with devious effects if done right.

 

Ethereal Servant- Asteroid Earth

Rock / Tuner Level 2

ATK 1200 DEF 1100

A Typical Wandering space entity who tends to scuffle around in large groups.

 

A simple throw away monster normaly, but its used to set up more dangerous support cards.

 

Ethereal Servant- Meteor Earth

 

Rock Fusion

ATK 1000 Def 1000 Level 2

(Ethereal Servant- Asteroid x 2-4) Depending on the ammount of monsters used to conduct this fusion, this monster gains an additonal 1000 Attack Points and 2 Levels. When this monster is destroyed by battle, you may pay life points equal to half the attack points of this monster and special summon the equivalant amount of "Ethereal Servant- Asteroid" 's that were used to conduct the fusion.

 

A bit of a fast fighter in order to quickly dispatch of enemy monsters and leave the field open to crush the open opponent.

 

Ethereal Servant- Nova Light

XYZ Fair Rank 4

(2 Level 4 Ethereal Monsters)
The attack and defense points are equal to the amount of life points you have, however the total amount is distributed in a split precent value upon XYZ Summoning successfully (Otherwise treat as 0). By Detaching one material you may distribute the amount of points between ATK and DEF again.

 

A Gimky Card with dark posibiltys. Keep in mind you dont need to pay lifeponts to get its effect, you just simply set percentage and badaboom, a tethered monster.
