Drayden_Siedrich_headshot.jpg

"Its too bad for you that they called me in. Otherwise you might very well have lived to see tomorrow."

Name: Drayden Siedrich

Age: 26

Gender: Male

Faction: Terra Firma

Occupation: Frame Pilot
Drayden_Siedrich.jpg

Standing at 6' 2" with an athletic build, Drayden is almost always seen wearing his trademark sunglasses, and is usually chomping on one of his hand-rolled cigarettes ( though he rarely, if ever lights them). Drayden's black hair is usually matted and a little messy, and to onlookers it appears to be constantly greased. When not wearing his flight suit, Drayden dresses in a dark jacket, shirt, and tie (as pictured above). He prefers to lean on walls or stand rather than sit down, and due to his height he tends to look down on other people when he speaks to them. Despite his good looks, Drayden gives of a threatening, almost unnervingly hostile air, an impression not helped by his low, slightly gravely voice.

Drayden is confident, laid-back, and detached, with a violent, sadistic streak punctuated by a lack of empathy and a dry wit. Drayden's persona can be very easily likened to the disposition of an alligator. While usually lax, nonchalant, and uncaring, when provoked Drayden is brutal and violent, snapping at others when agitated and eliminating his enemies in combat with no mercy or compassion. Though not mentally unbalanced, Drayden is known for having an explosive temper, and when angered he is prone to dishing out disproportionate retribution, often in the form of physical violence.

Wholly lacking in anything resembling empathy, Drayden is a born killer. He thoroughly enjoys battle, caring little for whom he is fighting against or why and instead relishing in the destruction of his enemies. Though it may be a stretch to say Drayden enjoys inflicting pain on others (indeed he seems more or less indifferent to the plight of anyone) there is no denying that Drayden enjoys the thrill of killing in battle. This shines through in Drayden's fast and brutal fighting style, and this combined with his penchant for painting his machines black has contributed to his fearsome reputation among both Terra Firma and SAF alike.  However this sadism and lack of empathy also makes it difficult for Drayden to connect with others on a personal level, and as a result he is often aloof from his comrades. Though Drayden isn't incapable of forming friendships and relationships (and indeed he tends to get along just fine with those who know him well enough) he simply chooses to put little effort into it, and as a result of this and his personality in general, there are very few whom could be considered his "friends". In short, Drayden is a predator, actively hunting his prey and subsisting on the thrill of their defeat in battle.

The Great-Grandson of the man who pioneered the Siedrich effect, Drayden nonetheless grew up poor on the surface, enjoying none of the benefits his ancestor's technology had given those in living in the Shells. Drayden's mother died when he was still an infant, and he was raised by his father, a technician working in one of SAF's resource plants. Drayden's early life was very difficult. with his alcoholic father working long shifts at the plant and coming home drunk, often taking his anger and frustration out on a young Drayden. As a result, Drayden tended to lash out at those around him, and he often ran afoul of both his peers and the SAF military police, garnering a long criminal record of assaults and petty crimes by the time he became a teenager. when he turned 16, Drayden too took a job at the same plant where his father worked, though he was soon fired for instigating a brawl.

Drayden's father passed away soon after, and Drayden took this opportunity to leave his home and see the world. He drifted for a year or so before joining up with a then-fledgeling and underground Terra Firma, and soon proved himself to be an excellent, if a bit wayward, soldier. Proving himself an incredibly capable frame pilot, Drayden served as one of the test pilots for the prototype of the TF-101C Myrmidon, earning a fearsome reputation for his amazing skill as well as his all black machines. Subsequently serving in a frame squad under veteran sniper Michael Wittman, Drayden's profile within Terra Firma continued to grow along with his abilities, and he soon earned his moniker "The Black Death" for his ability to singlehandedly blitz and annihilate entire enemy formations.

After the beginning of all-out war between SAF and Terra Firma, Drayden found himself assigned to various war fronts across the globe, acting as a sort of independent force multiplier and simultaneously gutting both SAF's numbers and morale whenever he made an appearance on the battlefield. After Terra Firma successfully reverse-engineered SAF's Synchro Frame technology, Drayden was found to be highly AMS-compatible, and a Synchro Frame was quickly designed to his exact specifications. In part thanks to his new machine's distinctive design, Drayden has become Terra Firma's most feared ace pilot of the war, and was most recently the one responsible for attacking and engaging SAF's new all-Synchro Frame Squad, shooting one of them down and coming out of the battle without a scratch.
Machine: TF-696S Hammerhead
• High AMS compatibility: Drayden is one of most AMS compatible individuals on record, allowing him an extremely precise degree of control over his machine.
 • Ace Pilot: Unquestionably Terra Firma's most feared pilot, Drayden has 7 years of combat experience and hundreds of kills under his belt. His fast, brutal fighting style and high skill level make him an extremely dangerous opponent, and this combined with the high performance and powerful weapons of his Synchro frame makes him one of the most deadly assets in Terra Firma's arsenal.
 • Hand-to-Hand Combat Expert: Drayden is extremely skilled in hand-to-hand combat, having been in numerous fights during his life as well as having been taught Krav Maga during his time in Terra Firma.

Theme- Blind Alley

Drayden enjoys tobbacco, and hand-rolls his own cigarettes. He doesn't have a favorite food, but prefers to eat things that are extremely spicy.

Unit Model Number & Name:  TF-696S Hammerhead

Unit type: Attack Use Synchro Frame

Faction(s): Terra Firma

Pilot(s)/crew: Drayden Seidrich

Overall Height: 15.2 Meters

Top Speed: 250 Kph (ground), Mach 1.45 (flying)
armored_core_mecha_design.jpg

Designed for the personal use of Shark Squad leader Drayden Seidrich, the Hammerhead's distinctive silhouette and dark paint scheme cast an intimidating, terrifying presence on the battlefield. Constructed to perfectly suit Drayden's aggressive, brutal fighting style, the Hammerhead comes equipped with several powerful artillery-grade weapons while still retaining speed and maneuverability high enough to compete with other more nimble Synchro Frames such as its newer sister machine: Charcharias. In addition to its heavy loadout, the Hammerhead also comes equipped with extremely advanced optical and sensor systems, which not only allow the machine to be highly accurate with its heavy weapons, but also lend to the machine's striking appearance and intimidation factor, which is just as much a weapon in Drayden's arsenal as the Hammerhead's plasma cannon.

Since its debut, the hammerhead and its pilot have become something of a celebrity amongst Terra firma's pilots thanks to its unique design and high profile service record. Thanks to this, command tends to notice a marked increase in morale whenever shark squad is deployed.

• Plasma Cannon- Wielded as a rather large rifle, the Hammerhead's plasma cannon is a grade above the lighter plasma weapons carried by most other frames, possessing a longer barrel and an onboard S/T drive for greater range and power. The Plasma Cannon is easily capable of destroying an enemy combat frame in one shot, and is quite useful for taking dealing damage to SAF aerial carries with its long range and heavy punch. In addition, its handheld design makes it eminently useful in a dogfight, and much more accurate than a large weapon if its caliber would normally be.
 • Plasma Blade- Mounted to the Hammerhead's left forearm, the Plasma blade is a fairly standard melee armament for a synchro frame. The wrist mounted emitter allows for a longer, wider blade as opposed to a smaller handheld variety, and can be rotated a full 360 degrees at high speed to create a large buzz saw-like effect. Like all plasma blades, most anything that comes in contact with it will be vaporized or melted, with some thicker armored targets being able to withstand a few seconds of punishment.
 • Twin Machineguns- Mounted in the hammerhead,s rather oddly shaped head, the twin machineguns are fire linked and are mostly used for shooting down incoming projectiles or shooting out enemy optics, though they are also useful as anti personnel weapons (though Drayden tends to prefer the Hammerhead's feet for this)
 • Twin 20mm Vulcans- Mounted within an armor plate on the right side of the Hammerhead's torso, the Twin Vulcans are very handy for eating away enemy armor or destroying handheld weapons at close range. Though they deal considerably less damage at longer ranges, their rapid fire is useful for suppressing enemy frames or taking out sensitive equipment like optics and radar mounts. The Vulcans are fire linked.
 • Twin 100mm Multi-launchers- Mounted on the Hammerhead's back, the multi-launchers are powerful long range weapons capable of dealing heavy damage to frames and larger targets alike. Each launcher comes with its own onboard laser targeting system, which combined with the Hammerhead's own advanced optics make for extremely precise fire, even when the hammerhead is performing complex aerial maneuvers, which often catches unsuspecting opponents off guard. Despite their name, the multi-lunchers are actually railcannons, though they are also capable of firing rocket-propelled projectiles and conventional shells, depending on the mission.

The Hammerhead's construction is roughly 60% identical to that of its sister machine thanks to the Charcharias being built mostly from leftover or spare parts from the Hammerhead's development. Though this makes finding extant replacement components for both machines a bit more difficult, it also means that both frames can mount equipment developed for the other unit should the situation call for it.

Savannah has an amiable, lovely personality.  She's very easy to get along with, and she has quite the number of friends.  As opposed to the stereotype of female engineers being more rough and tough, she's very frail, sophisticated, and motherly, lending to a more teacher-like vibe coming from her.  However, the advice she gives tends to be poor;  this isn't done on purpose, mind you, she's just... well, not the best at explaining things.  Even so, she's not a ditz in the slightest.  She's very diligent about her work on weapon systems, though she does not fully approve of their uses to harm other people.  She tries not to think about how her inventions are applied in the workplace, and she definitely doesn't think about just how many have died by her hands.

Savannah often passes the time with coworkers reminiscing about her family back at home, often getting very upset that she has been away for so long.  Being the working woman of the household, she leaves her husband to tend to their two children, William and Makoto.

Savannah's story is not tragic, nor is it interesting compared to some of her team members.  Rather, she's quite the anomaly, when it comes to higher ranking scientists.  She came from a middle class family with an average education.  She had above average grades, even in the sciences - however, what she lacked in specialty she made up for in diligence, always completing what she put her mind to.  She was an exceptionally hard worker, and often found her free time filled with daydreaming about unrealistic inventions.  She found her way into college, deciding in her second year to try her hand in mechanical engineering and sciences, specializing in a robotics and weapons systems, hoping to get a good paying job in the military.  However, a pregnancy divided her education during her third year.  She quickly recovered, married the father, and finished college smoothly thereafter.  Following her college years, she joined up in the labs of the SAF.  Her designs proved marvelously effective in combat.  Especially notable was her design of the Emitter-Recovery System (ERS), which greatly cooled a weapons system using plasma energy while also retaining extra power after firing, prolonging the usage of such weapons while extending their lifespan.  However, a recent catastrophic failure of what she thought to be her greatest creation has cost her status among the ranks of the SAF's scientists.  In an effort to regain that status, she shoehorned herself into the TRAP program as a senior technical adviser.
Machine:  N/A
• Intelligence:  She's fairly smart, which should be a given since she's participating in the TRAP program.
 • Engineering:  She's probably worked on most Synchro Frame designs in her lifetime - especially the ones currently used by the TRAP team.
 • Diligence:  She gets things done quite reliably.
 • Combat:  Just kidding.  She's quite incapable.  Nice shot with a handgun, but that's about it.

• Savannah has two children - Makoto Katsuki and William Katsuki.  Her husband, Hiro Katsuki, wanted to name the girl, and she wanted to name the boy.  William is six years old, while Makoto is three.
 • Savannah's husband is Japanese;  she is half Spanish, half British.
 • Savannah often listens to hair metal when designing things.
 • Savannah often expresses loathing of her husband's treatment of her kids while she's away, saying she comes back to "the most spoiled brats off our planet."

Theme: Empty Walls - Serj Tankian

[ this body is irrelevant ]

[ kill it and it will rise again ]

[ for it shall never truly die ]

Name:  Shiva

Alias:  Shiva of the East
Gender: Female

Faction:  Terra Firma

Occupation:  Emulator

Appearance Archive
The Emulator.  A brainchild of the late great Dr. Ivan Sheol, the Emulator strives to do what pilots can not:  Survive at all costs.  The human body is an incredibly fragile thing, and human life is naught but the most precious resource in the known universe.  Dr. Sheol's mindset was this; why do we fight with our bodies?  Why do we place our bodies in gigantic frames when something else can do it for us?

What spurred him into this was the death of his son at the hands of a piece of experimental technology intended to boost the power of Synchro Frames.  Why did a human being, his very son, have to be in that robot?

So, he created the Emulator - a robot that takes a pilot's AMS data as input and applies it to basic combat routines in order to control a Synchro Frame.  In theory, this absolutely cancels out the need for a pilot at all - just create an army of clones, readied for battle, using one pilot's AMS.

Unfortunately, his employers hated the idea.  Scorned, he took flight to Terra Firma - who, on the contrary, loved the idea.  Short on men and women that were capable pilots at the time, they devoted many resources to the creation of SHIVA, the very first working prototype Emulator, using data forged from the AMS readings of Ivan's deceased son, Connor, and another Terra Firma supersoldier.

Its tests were near-perfect, but the same couldn't be said for Ivan's health.  He passed away soon after, leaving Shiva to the hands of the more than capable team of Terra Firma.

Robotic is the best term for its personality.  It is cold and calculating, as any other machine would be, and does not hesitate to end the life of its enemies in the most brutal way possible.  It has no remorse; if it cannot prevent something, it will not prevent something.  Likewise, its sense of survivability is almost zero; it almost expects to be killed on the battlefield, and thus will charge the enemy and be as violent as possible, using every tool in its arsenal to absolutely demolish an enemy mech.

Despite this, Shiva possesses an odd obsession with protecting her comrades; their lives are irreplaceable and far more valuable than hers, or so she's been told.  She will not hesitate to sacrifice herself to save the life of any member of her platoon, no matter the consequences.

Out of piloting, Shiva is like any other robot.  Cold, silent, and only responds to queries directed at it.  Friends really aren't something that robots do.
Unit Model Number & Name:  TF-643CX Lanthus

Unit type: Close Range Assault Combat Frame

Faction(s): Terra Firma

Pilot(s)/crew: S.H.I.V.A.

Overall Height: 15.3 Meters

Top Speed: 290 Kph (Ground), Mach 1.6 (Flying)
Lanthus

Wielding Heavy Arc Cannon

Wielding DoubleCombat Blade

Designed based on a scrapped concept for a Synchro Frame to be used by the pilot who provided S.H.I.V.A.'s data template, the TF-643CX Lanthus has been radically altered from its original specifications in order to maximize the performance of its new robotic pilot. Though technically a Combat frame by virtue of lacking an AMS module, the Lanthus performs easily on par with any other Synchro Frame on the battlefield, and excels in close quarters combat, where it can perform maneuvers that normal machines are unable to replicate thanks to the possibility of injury to their human pilots.

In order to maximize the integration with is new pilot, the Lanthus's design has been altered and stripped down. Gone entirely is a traditional cockpit, replaced instead by human-shaped socket within the machine's torso into which Shiva is inserted, allowing for total sensory integration with the Lanthus's systems. In other words, the Lanthus becomes Shiva's body during combat, allowing for reaction times on par with highly AMS-compatible pilots. Thanks to the lack of a cockpit, the frame itself was able to be slimmed down and streamlined, giving it a much more organic, fluid appearance than most other combat frames without the need to give the alrey lightly-armored machine even less protection. This redesign of the frame allows the Lanthus to move and manever in a much more fluid, human-like fashion, giving it a further edge in close range combat.

However, these Improvements come with a drawback, as the redesigned Lanthus also lacks weapon hardpoints entirely, limiting the machine to only what it can carry in its own two hands. Luckily, its standard weapons are quite effective, and the Lanthus's limbs themselves also make very effective weapons thanks to the Shiva's high degree of integration.

• Energized Double Combat Blade- The Main Weapon of the Lanthus. Designed based on data gathered from recovered SAF weapon prototypes, the Double Combat Blade is a devastating close range weapon. Though Lighter than its SAF counterparts, the Lanthus's double Combat Blade is actually more efficient tanks to a much thinner and sharper plasma blade. Though it doesn't deal as much raw damage, the double blade is much, much more adept at actually cutting things, and as a result is perfectly suited for destroying enemy Frames in a simple, swift strike. as well, its double bladed nature allows the blade to be wielded in a similar fashion to a quarterstaff, allowing the Lanthus to easily deliver a flurry of lethal blows to multiple targets in succession.
 • Heavy Arc cannon- The Lanthus's only ranged weapon, the heavy arc cannon is one of the largest examples of Arc weaponry ever mounted on a frame, and is able to disable an improperly shielded frame with a single shot, while at the same time dealing damage on par with that of a low caliber railgun.

• Combat Efficiency:  It's literally built for combat.
 • Ruthlessness:  Shiva feels no remorse for its opponents, and will not hesitate to stab through the cockpit.  Shiva has been programmed to not hear the pleas of those not on its own side.
 • Near Flawless "AMS" Readings: While not true AMS, Shiva possesses almost perfect synchronization with her mech.
Unit Model Number & Name:  MACF-00 Spirit of Motherwill-class

Unit type: Mobile Artillery Carrier Fortress

Faction(s): Terra Firma

Pilot(s)/crew: approx. 25000 crewmen, pilots, and technicians

Overall Dimensions: 300m (height), 854m (length, end of flight deck to end of opposite flight deck),  416m (width, leg to opposite leg)

Top Speed: 80 km/h (land), 76 knots (water)
arms_fort_spirit_of_motherwill_by_comman

Originally designed by the now defunct United States during the Fourth World War as the newest generation of carrier warship, the sheer size, cost and investment necessary to construct and deploy the original design that would eventually become the Spirit of Motherwill class was deemed to great for the then-losing nation to produce, and so the design was sealed away amongst many other failed designs in the Pentagon's databanks.

Fast forward to the year 2205. Having just recently organized, a cell of the fledgling rebel group that would eventually go on to become Terra Firma stumbled on to the plans while scavenging the ruins of the old U.S. capital. Seeing potential in the design, the files were secretly forwarded to the organization's leaders, who quickly approved of the design as the core of their developing armed forces. Through a series of backroom deals with Shell-based arms manufacturers and the support of malcontent resource elevator personnel, arrangements were then made to secretly construct the first five vessels of a modified design in northern Svalbard, far away from the prying eyes of SAF. The new design, which corrected flaws in the original's construction while making accommodations for housing and deploying Combat frames, is easily the largest fighting vehicle ever constructed, and is  armored so heavily that it is nearly impossible to damage of destroy with a direct assault. This combined with the nearly 600 aircraft and combat frames stationed onboard each vessel, and the terrifying array of fixed weapons each fortress carries, make each Spirit of Motherwill a nearly unstoppable force multiplier with the power to stand up to anything and everything Saf can throw at it. The first vessel, Spirit of Motherwill,  was completed in early 2216, and was quickly followed by her four sisters: Unsung, Dark Tide, Lance of Longinus, and Wong Shao Lung, with a whopping five more vessels set to be completed by 2220.

The Motherwill class would see its first action at the outset of the war between SAFand Terra Firma, punctuating the bombing of San Loma with a coordinated, defiant bombardment of Shell Eden, the 4 completed fortresses nearly shooting the massive platform out of the sky with their terrifying railcannon arrays. Subsequently, the threat of Shell bombardment by Motherwill-class vessels has become the number 1 factor preventing outright SAF victory in the war, with most of SAF's resources dedicated to keeping pressure on the ever-growing number of vessels in order to prevent enough of them from getting into firing position rather than targeting Terra Firma Installations, as a coordinated assault from 5 or more of these massive fortresses will surely bring a Shell and its millions of inhabitants crashing to earth. As of the war's thrid year, not a single Motherwill-class vessel has fallen in combat, and each of the 9 active fortresses has numerous victories under its belt.

• Onboard Combat Vehicles- As a carrier vessel, each Spirit of Motherwill Class fortress can comfortably house up to 550 aircraft or combat frames, and in emergencies can house even more (though the loss of space decreases efficiency greatly). It takes roughly 40 minutes for a Motherwill to deploy all 550 of its onboard craft, though most engagements will only require a maximum of 50-100 frames.
 • "Millennium Cannon" 1000mm Railcannon Array- Without a doubt the largest cannons in human history, each Motherwill comes armed with six 1 meter railcannons capable of projecting fire well past the typical flying altitude of the Shells. Shots from the Millennium Cannons are easily capable of erasing any target they connect with, though thanks to their massive size and limited degree of motion, they are most useful for shooting down SAF airborne fortresses and damaging Shells. When taking on smaller enemies, the Millennium Cannons are often loaded with massive submunition shells capable of saturating miles with bomblets, guided submissiles, and shrapnel.
 • Artillery Array- Spirit of Motherwill-class fortresses also come armed with a myriad of smaller canons ranging from small 20mm rifles ideal for shooting down Frames and fighter craft to rather large 200mm cannons adept at taking on armored targets. The artillery array covers all of the fortress's sphere of defense (including beneath it), and makes approaching it a dauntig prospect.
 • Automated Anti-Air system- Known to Motherwill crews as "Triple A", the fortress's anti-air system consists of numerous flak guns and missile pods mounted within the vessel's armor plating. Like the artillery array, it covers every portion of the fortress.
ROUND 2. EVERYTHING IS DIFFERENT AND NOTHING'S THE SAME

EVERYTHING IS DONE

This is me under the assumption that Terra Firma doesn’t control the ENTIRE ground areas, and all forces within them. That’d be unreasonable.
A small suit of mechanized body armor designed to give increased protection, weapon capacity, and mobility to the pilot. While they vary wildly in design, they all have several distinct and universal features.

Thrust Boosters: Allows for limited fight and extremely fast ground speed and agility. Quick turns and fast maneuverability make them rather difficult to target, not to mention their size also making targeting them a bit hard. They barely stand over 7 feet, all equipment considered.

HAVOC Programming: Onboard AI, unintelligent, that handles a lot of the more complicated maneuvers.

A fair distance away from where our story takes place exists the Free City of Cabal, a sprawling metropolis of dust, dirt, and spare parts. With a population of just short of 450,000, the city is about 10% Developed, 20% Industrial, and 70% slums. As you can imagine, this causes a lot of strife within the city. In need of internal monitoring, the city "council" called forth the Dust Eaters, a private military corporation that operated in and around Cabal. The contract was simple: keep the city in order, and you can do pretty much what you please.

It didn't take long for the Dust Eaters to completely control all of Cabal, including any sort of political or ruling order in place. The city was transformed into a combination of the Dust Eaters own primary headquarters and a sort of recruiting grounds, taking from the vast population of no-good no-lifes and orphans, as well as pretty much anyone else they felt like snagging. They also took full control of any industrial capacity the city had, turning pretty much all of it into weapons development and R&D.

While life under the Dust Eaters can be particularly harsh at times, it's not all bad. Infrastructure has improved since they moved in, and lawlessness is usually dealt with at an extreme pace, the Dust Eaters OWN criminal aspects notwithstanding. A modern society would probably be disturbed by their presence, but to the slum-dwellers of Cabal, they're the closest things they have to a savior.
Height is 5’8”. Outside of his HARM Mk. IV suit, he dons a slim and sleek black Special Ops suit. In terms of physical appearance, his eyes are a piercing hazel, with a dark brown hair that turns lighter in sunlight. A slim and toned build with a neatly structure face that seems a bit triangular. Will never be caught with facial hair.

De facto leader of the Siege Dancers. A serious individual, though with a knack for sarcasm. Fiercly protecrive of his allies, but not to the point of making foolish decisions. Typically puts the big picture and overall mission objective over personal feelings. Not as much of a stickler as you’d think. Does poorly in social interactions with people he doesn’t already know. Has a soft spot for short girls.

One of the few Dancers born and raised in one of the innermost Dust Eater compounds. As such, he was raised in the strictest of military doctrine, turning into a no nonsense leader-type. His life, outside of his training, was practically sterile. Very little contact with people outside his trainers and a few other trainees. No social skills. Very little sense of fun.

So, of course, coming into the loosely organized Siege Dancers was a bit… jarring for him. While the Squad technically doesn’t have a leader, he has taken it up upon himself to organize the Squad. It’s…mostly worked. The Squad seems to respect him as the leader, though following strict orders comes hard to them.
However, life in the slums rarely stays positive. For the sake of “protection,” a local underground mafia organization holds a knife to the throat of the entire school.
Another slum dweller, this urchin came from a small gang of young hooligans, thieves, and rabble-rousers from the age of 12. She was, in fact, the leader of the bunch, and always had different varying ideas and schemes to get her posse another morsel to eat, or some pocket change. Small time gigs normally kept her group occupied. Until, one day, her luck drastically changed.

A small caravan of Dust Eaters PMC staff and personal took a stroll through Susan’s territory, each person packed to burst with food and money. It was a golden opportunity for these little pickpockets. However, as they approached the group nearby some piles of rubble, all hell broke loose. It was a quick and brutal scuffle. A couple of bruised children, a fracture, three decent gashes on the PMC members, and a captured Susan later, and the fight was over. While the children were shipped off to various orphanages around the area, officially disbanding the group, a high-ranking officer in the group took special notice of Susan’s natural abilities, and had her shipped off to the training center. Upon reaching the proper age, she was promptly placed into the Siege Dancers.
Fiercely independent, leading her to clash with Griffin.

Another Dancer born and raised within the Dust Eaters, she was put in a training regime that was far more intense and lengthy than what Griffin had gone through, as the latter training regime was changed to give the child a bit more freedom of thought and enjoyment.
Generally a pleasant and positive individual. A bit motherly, as a result of need. However, there’s always this sneaking suspicion that she’s a bit…off.
She never knew her parents as a child, having living with a grandfather while she grew up. She was… coddled. Despite being raised in the slums, she lived a comfortable life. Trapped in a room as a child for the first 14 years of her life, she knew nothing of the outside. This simple life, however, ended abruptly one day. Sheila awoke to a blazing inferno, surrounded by flames and hacking up smoke. In a blinded stumble, found her way out of the blazing house. She was burnt, torn, and tattered, but alive.

The next few years of her life were spent constantly avoiding contact with people. The same people whom she’s never had any contact with her entire life. She wasn’t foolish, though. She feared to make contact with others, as she feared her own naivety. She wasn’t careful enough.

As the Dust Eaters tended to do, she was kidnapped from the streets and placed into a training program to see what role she would best fit. Several years later, and she came back as a pilot. Unfortunately, in her very first offensive she had been assigned to, she was shot down. The crash nearly took her life. But the half-science half-luck of the Dust Eaters gave her a new life. A permanent life within the very machine that nearly became her grave.
Its primary disadvantage, however, is the fact that it has a very large silhouette, meaning its hard not to notice. It also is very, very loud, not helping the previous point. Despite this, though, it can be equipped for stealth ops. It fills the roles of Troop Transport, Supply Vehicle, Air Support, Close Range Ground Support, and Bomber.

This particular unit has a very special feature in it. The cockpit has been converted into a life support system, where the torso of Sheila has been installed. She is, biologically, now part of the machine. Edit: AHH. BALLS.

I should probably add why they're here.
While controlling an entire city and its population is hard work, the Dust Eaters is still ultimately a Private Military Corporation. As such, they take contracts just like any other. However, on the sidelines, they have special squads that part-time as Bounty Hunters, in which they're sent all around the world to capture, kill, or whatever the particular bounty requires. The Siege Dancers is one such squad, and having heard of several high-profile bounties on the heads of many Terra Firma, they were deployed from Cabal with one single order: Reap Profit through any means.

[The Siege Dancers]

Squad 24 in the Hunter Legion, they are a specialist Squad, in which the best of the best from other squads are handpicked and placed. They do what no-one else will; dangerous hunts, rescue missions, even recon. While hardly better equipped than the other squads, they do hold special favor with the Machine Cult for reasons unnamed, which grants them many benefits. The squad members are all replaceable in the event of the death of a member, and as such, the squad holds no original members. Even DEIMOS-C is the third Droid to be picked for the Siege Dancers.

[The Machine Cult]

The vast majority of Cabal's industrial capacity is focused on weapons development, and the entire sect is controlled by the Machine Cult. They are a group of zealous technicians and engineers that maintain, design, and construct the weapons and vehicles used by Cabal and the Dust Eaters. They are notoriously hard to work with, and have been known to completely cut off their supplies from the Dust Eaters at any small instigation. As such, they are usually treated very well, and their word is taken very seriously. They hold the machines they own and operate above the lives of even their own members, and will gladly sacrifice their lives if it means they can add another machine to their arsenal, or save one. They have been known to request for Squads to go out on near suicide missions to recover or acquire lost machines.
Zai responding to something? Its a Christmas miracle!

I know its a lot of work, but I'm gonna have to ask you to keep your app up to the standards outlined in the OP. This means the following:

 • gonna need a full mech bio for the arm suit (custom models for each team member can either get entire separate bios or simply lists noting their unique equipment/performance when compared to the base model)
 • Each character needs to have personality and biography sections that are above the line minimums outlined in the OP.

couple other things too.

Do be aware that the dust eaters' Arm suits are more or less power armor, which stands little to no chance in combat against a larger, faster, and more heavily armed combat frame, let alone larger fortress-class weapons or synchro frames. What this means in relation to the RP is that the Dust eaters will have a lot of difficulty surviving most of the combat in the RP as their weapons are likely mostly too small to deal significant damage to a 15 meter CF and most Frames typically carry some form of onboard anti-personnel/propelled projectile (missiles/rockets etc.) weapon like a vulcan.

As well, (not that you would have been privy to this as you weren't in the skype group when it was discussed), optical stealth technology does not currently exist in the SF universe. Other stealth technology such as the  SFS-XA1 Drachenrand's sensor disruption system is uncommon and expensive, and so its unlikely that there are very many extant examples of power armor-sized systems of that nature (though the siege dancers' status as elites might give them access to them should they).  exist. As well, artificial intelligence is also rudimentary-to-nonexistant, with the most advanced constructs being two humanoid prototypes constructed by leading scientists on each side of the conflict, both of which are not self aware at present. In regards to less intelligent robotics, droids like DEIMOS-C likely exist in small numbers, as their battlefield applications are limited due to the advent of large scale mecha. These droids likely possess little-to-no artificial intelligence and simply operate based on pre-programmed objectives and tactics, however.

Fluff-wise, Cabal's existence as a neutral-ish city state is plausible enough to allow, though Terra Firma will very likely take action against Cabal should the dust eaters' activities become detrimental to  TF's cause (i.e. assassinating high level personnel), and Cabal's defenses are likely not strong enough to withstand an assault from a Motherwill-class fortress and its escort (which, btw, makes for a good plot point). As well, while SAF is likely on more friendly terms with Cabal, it will not hesitate to level the city with fortress bombing runs should cabal become any sort of threat. As for the machine cult, well, i need more information on the hows and whys of such a faction existing, since it seems rather unlikely that a pseudo-spiritual group that worships machinery would exist in SF's relatively realistic setting (which, mind you, takes place only about 200 years from now).

I can also image-hunt for you if you'd rather not use images of legos for the dancers' transport.

I'm aware of that. No one ever said I'd be going face to face with something like a CF. The Siege Dancers have their own way of operating.

Also, it's not as though the Dust Eaters don't have their OWN CF's.

...just not right now. So don't ask. Or go ask the Machine Cult, but I don't think they'd tell you anything.

I have two choices here. To compensate for the lack of stealth, I'd have to beef up DEIMOS-C in size and armor capacity, so that he can still have some use. Say, 10-11 meters. As such, he'd be excluded as a normal member of the squad, and become a special-situations unit. Or, we could have it be a highly unstable version of cloaking. After all, light refracting stealth technology DOES exist today in rudimentary forms. Who knows what could happen after 200 years.

Then I have one choice here that'd let him exist as a neat, dual personality character: A brain transplant. Or two, rather. The brain would be installed somewhere deep within the cavity of the machine, the Logic half of one person's brain is connected and can be accessed. However, right beside it, the CREATIVE side of ANOTHER person's brain is connected, and while these two halfs can operate at the same time on occasion, they usually do not.

That, or a personality upload that was corrupted into two halfs. I mean, I could turn him into a regular human if you'd WANT, but... that'd be kinda lame :<

This all depends on how under-the-wraps the Siege Dancers can stay about it. A good, A+ mission will end with A. A dead target, and B. No one knows who did it. But, we'll see.

Also, they might be some PMC, but the Dust Eaters are smart. They'll do whatever it takes to keep themselves out of harms way. And if that means taking care of some... liabilities (coughsiegedancerscough), then they'll do just that, if that's what it takes to keep the two factions off their back.

I'm also still trying to figure out the Dust Eater's total armed forces capacity, so standby on that.

As for the machine cult, well, i need more information on the hows and whys of such a faction existing, since it seems rather unlikely that a pseudo-spiritual group that worships machinery would exist in SF's relatively realistic setting (which, mind you, takes place only about 200 years from now).

It's a pretty simple formula, actually.

Crazy Devious Person + Slums. A lot of the Machine Cult's members are very young, and rather uneducated about the world, aside from how technology is maintained and operated. So for all they know, the CFs or dropships or cars or whatever they're being shown are actual Gods, and they are the simple servants of said Gods. I'll try to go into more details at some point.

I can also image-hunt for you if you'd rather not use images of legos for the dancers' transport.

AHEM. More than a simple "transport." She is also a character.

Anywho, you can do that if you want, since I love seeing stuff as reference and for future use. But I also like building with legos, so do with it as you see fit.

...Surprise there was no mention about Sheila. But yeah, my comments are bolded.

Kraft, just sayin' right quick.  That Logical vs. Creative halves of the brain thing is a myth.  Both halves of the brain exhibit regions where activity relating to creativity or logic can be found.

Doesn't the drachenrand's twin AMS run on the same principal of dual hemisphere brain control though?
