Effect text:
(This card's name is always treated as "Harpie Lady Sisters")
When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: Add one "Hysteric" Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. You can banish this card from your Graveyard and target one "Harpie Lady"; for the rest of this turn that monster is unaffected by other Spell/Trap Cards. You can only activate one effect of "Mai Valentine" once per turn.

I wanted to make harpies better and competetiv.
- this card can be used with elegant egotist or harpie channeler (making egotist a good card and channeler not a -1)
- mai valentine adds hysteric party or hysteric sign, the key card of the harpie deck
- mai valentine can protect your monsters, because harpies need their normal summon
- mai valentine can't be used with hysteric party or hunting ground

the only thing i want to change is that you can add her with hysteric sign. this can create a loop but i didnt have any good idea to fix this problem.

so what do you think?

Hmmm... You wouldn't somehow be able to take Mai Valentine and have her in a "Cyber Shield" outfit for the artwork, would you?

The eff is just broken... It can be activated off Egotist Summon and Harpies are actually borderline OP.  They just need one more good PUSH to make them Tier 0 IMO...

I think this would just about be the push they need.

T'wud be like Dragunity's, they kept getting indirect support and at one point just had to give and voila, were SUPER OP  for a short time.  Then Tempest and Ravine got hit.

This card is busted, but its cool. I fixed up the text for you. I always forget to get rid of other when I copy and paste Lance's text to a monster too, lmao.

@Mizore: You have to explain why it's busted, even if someone already noted it, not just give OCG fixes [even if this is Pop Culture, by definition].

I'll fix it a bit further, then give brief CnC

As already mentioned, draws their floodgate (Hysteric) and either allows them to make that Xyz dragon of theirs or whatever. Granted, I don't play Harpies so not sure on how broken they are (if that's the case). That being said, it does offer some protection to another Harpie in question [it is Mai's signature Archetype after all], considering the S/T cards out there.

Hysterical Sign, by its effect, should be able to add Mai [given her name is treated as "Harpie Lady Sisters" and should qualify, though by effect].

(Then again, the TC hasn't shown up since posting this)

Well, this card is busted because it lets you search Hysteric Party for free, (a +1) then resolving that party is always at least +2 followed by game on board this or the next turn.

The combos with this is sick. You get to play it off of egotist, it even pays for itself when it dies. Its a stand alone monster in the main deck that nets free advantage. Searching Hysteric Party is probably the only reason this is broken imo. But like I said its cool because Harpies areant too overpowered, or consistently overpowered that is. This would certainly put them there.
