I think most people can actually agree that 90% of anything is s***/bad at this point.

If it's an unpopular opinion, I think people just have yet to wake up to reality, meow.

Stooooop. No but really stop that right now.  :T First of all, no meowing from you there's already three people I see that from all the time. Hint hint this isn't serious

Anyway, now I need to know. Is cynicism the popular opinion? Because if so, I guess my unpopular opinion is:

*gasp* Not everything is totally shitty like people think. Especially not 90%.

Sturgeon's Law does not apply to everything.

Like, seriously. It doesn't.

Seriously. I feel like 90% of the people I know think that way.

Wait...

If most things were not s***, then nothing would be good, either.

The s*** stands to distinguish the good.

I don't mean it literally applies to everything, but it can apply to a lot.

I'm generally talking about things that are made though- media, games, writing, I wouldn't say food, people, etc.

"s***" is interpretive, though. Hmmm...

I think I was tired when I made that post, however. :P

Why would MOST things need to be crap for things to be good?

You'd have a hard time convincing me that 90% of games, writing, etc, was total crap. Given how much of it exists, that would be an impossible thing to prove. And I see plenty of good stuff as well. (Though like you said, it's up to individuals to determine)
