Neutrality Man
Shouts out to the inspiration for this card: The original creator of this card wanted this to support Chain Burn, but in my opinion, what's holding back Chain Burn from being meta-worthy is its relative lack of consistency (none of our cards can be searched properly, we only have generic draw power, and we're allergic to Upstart Goblin) and vulnerability to the Side Deck. Adding another burn option just makes things compete for space even more, never mind how this can overshadow other options entirely. Each time your opponent takes 1000 or more LP of effect damage this turn: draw 1 card. Rate / Fix / Suggestions?
Each time your opponent takes 500 or more LP of effect damage this turn: draw 1 card for every 500 points of damage inflicted. Trebuchet MS
Whoa, whoa, slow down there, fella. On average, my Just Desserts hits for 1500. My Chain Strike hits for an average of 2000 when I really get going. You're giving me 3-4 cards whenever one of my cards does exactly what it wants. Not cool, man. I get half an entire hand back every time a single Link fires off well. I would greatly tone down the effect. Make it Continuous, give it something to the effect of "During the End Phase, if an effect of a card you controlled inflicted damage to your opponent: Draw 1 card." Drawing a single extra card each turn can make so much difference even for a Chain Burn Deck, and for burn lock Decks that do lots of small residual chips over time, they will still appreciate it. EDIT: Noticed the card is a Normal Trap, but assumed the effect was Continuous.
Neutrality Man
Ah, I don't play chain burn myself and have a bad habit of overkill, as you can see. I'll amend the effect to be much more restrained and make it just 1 card per burn event, and raise the threshold to something a little less common than 500+. Trebuchet MS
Slightly better, but still pretty potent. At least this time it only draws about 2-4 cards within a single Link combo, making it Chain Burn's equivalent of Super Rejuvenation.
Neutrality Man
Considering how fast even the "slow" games I've watched on Random Spectate were, I'm okay with that.
