Is this card Broken?

300px-CyberDragonInfinity-CROS-JP-UtR.pn

Level 6 LIGHT Machine-Type monsters
You can also Xyz Summon "Cyber Dragon Infinity" once per turn by using a "Cyber Dragon Nova" you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) This card gains 200 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it. Once per turn: You can target 1 other face-up Attack Position monster on the field; attach it to this card as a face-up Xyz Material. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a card or effect is activated: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.

Let's see:

It has an anime 101-esque clause (actually worse, since it just steals monsters without a detach; at least A101 was 141)

Then it has a Shi-En clause on it.

Starts off with 2700 ATK and potentially gets stronger.

Yeah, seems that way.

@Silenth: There is one, but believe it's on page 2 now.

You can also steal your own disposable ATK monsters, as Black demonstrated in a Duel against me. And that Rank 4 that can Rank-Up into Nova. Into this. Into ACK!

Seriously?   Just imagine facing this thing with everything on the line like they do in the show.  xD  Dued, beat this thing or the world ends.

The only way I've figured out around this card, is to activate two traps at once, both of which target CDI.  For example, activate Spellbinding Circle, which your opponent will most likely negate, then into Fiendish Chain.

I was going through some cards, and found Dimention Gate.  If you could do the following: Summon a monster, activate Fiendish Chain, CDI negates it, then activate Enemy Controler and scrafice your monster to grab CDI, attack your opponent directly or another of his/her monsters, and in Main Phase 2, activate Dimention Gate.

Thoughts?

It has the potential to be horribly polarizing. If Shock Bastard were bad, this guy is arguably worse for more ED Devotion.

I don't care to use the word broken in this regard, but it is a horribly designed waifu card. It does too much for 3x Level 4, or 2x Level 5 Machine.

Between this and S39L, R4 has a lot of power options it didn't have before. At least both will only be OCG only for a good while.

S39-L will be out by this time next year, and Infinity... will be out in just slightly more time. Dunno if I consider a year and some a good while.

Also, is there any way to Astral Force this thing? (Either Infinity or Nova)

Unless I'm missing something, this really screws with your pendulums, since once it detaches, even though the cards return to their owner, pendulums that were stolen would head to the graveyard, where you don't want them, since Pendulum decks that I have played with want to keep their fodder in the extra deck.

Still have not heard anything about this.

>Assuming a player will give a shit about Spellbinding Cicle
:kappa:

Look, you have to go about doing it in a similar manner to Laggia/Dolkka. You don't bait them with stupid shit, you have to play something that will force them into using Infinity. Otherwise, they will likely drop a 2nd/3rd, and proceed to lock you down.
