Okay so here is my new deck I've been messing around with. I would like any Cnc to help make the deck balanced, I think I've done okay with it but I would like others opinions.

 

The basic concept of the deck is to get the normal monster and the field spell out as it helps start the combos.

 

RECENT TWEAKS:

-Changed Extra deck monsters so they don't loop

-added "Wannabe Pandemic" Spell card

 

Main deck: Monsters

Adam The "Normal" Wannabe

Level 2 / EARTH

Warrior / Normal Type

900 ATK / 500 DEF

Lore: This brave adventure will take on the world with all his wits and will battle any foe that challenges him to a battle. there is no monster too strong or path too hard for this young lad to conquer

 

Derel The "Millionaire" Wannabe

Level 2 / DARK

Warrior / Effect-monster

900 ATK / 500 DEF

Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned / Set. When is card is Special Summoned: you can add 1 "Wannabe" monster from your deck to your hand. You can only use the effect of "Derel The "Millionaire" Wannabe" once per turn and only once that turn.

 

Kevin The "Better Than Derel" Wannabe

Level 2 / DARK

Warrior / Effect-monster

900 ATK / 500 DEF

Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned / Set. When this card is Special Summoned: you can add 1 "Wannabe" Spell or Trap from your deck to your hand. You can only use the effect of "Kevin The "Better than Derel" Wannabe" once per turn and only once that turn.

 

Gavin The "Party Animal" Wannabe

Level 2 / EARTH

Beast-warrior / Effect, Tuner

500 ATK / 900 DEF

Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned / Set. When this card is Special Summoned : you can target 1 "Wannabe" monster in your graveyard, Special Summon it, it's effects are negated and it is destroyed during the End Phase. You can only use the effect of "Gavin The "Party Animal" Wannabe" once per turn and only once that turn.

 

Emily The "Calm" Wannabe

Level 2 / LIGHT

Fairy / Effect, Tuner

500 ATK / 900 DEF

Lore: This card cannot be Normal Summoned / Set. When This card is Special Summoned: You can target one "Wannabe" monster in your hand, Special Summon it, it' effects are negated and it is destroyed during the End Phase. you can only use the effect of "Emily The "Calm" Wannabe" once per turn and only once that turn.

 

Main Deck Spells & Traps

Wannabe School

Spell / Field

Lore: Each time a "Wannabe" monster is summoned, place one counter on this card. \you can remove a number of counters to activate one of the following effects:

  • 1 - Tribute 1 face-up "Wannabe" monster you control, Special Summon 1 "Wannabe" monster from your deck
  • 2 - Discard 1 card then draw 1 card
  • 3 - Speical Summon 1 "Wannabe" monster from your graveyard

You can only use each effect of "Wannabe School" once per turn.

 

Wannabe Pile Out

Spell / Quick-play

Lore: Special Summon 1 "Wannabe" monster from your hand, it is destroyed during the End Phase. During your turn, except the turn you activated this card, if you control a face-up "Wannabe School" you can banish this card from the graveyard, then Special Summon 1 "Wannabe" from your graveyard, it's effects are negated.

 

Wannabe Pandemic

Spell / Quick-play

Lore: All face-up "Wannabe" monsters you currently control are unaffected by your opponents Spell/Trap effects this turn. If you control a face-up "Wannabe School": after this cards resolution you can add 1 "Wannabe" Normal monster from your graveyard to your hand.

 

Wannabe Peaceful Area

Trap / Continuous

Lore: Target 1 "Wannabe in your graveyard Special Summon that target. When this card leaves the field, destroy the targeted monster. When this card is destroyed, destroy that target. When this card is destroyed, if you control a face-up "Wannabe School" destroy 1 card on the field.

 

Wannabe Trap

Trap / Counter

Lore: Activate only if you control a face-up "Wannabe School", negate the activation of a Spell Card, Trap Card or Effect Monster's Effect and destroy the card. When this set card s destroyed you can add 1 "Wannabe School" from your deck to your hand.

 

Extra Deck Monsters

Paul The "Pirate" Reality

Synchro / WATER

Level 4 / Aqua

1900 ATK / 1000 DEF

Lore: 1 "Wannabe" tuner + 1 or more non-tuner monsters

As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all "Wannabe" monsters you control can attack directly and cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponents card effects.

 

Tyrone The "Warm" Reality

Synchro / FIRE

Level 4 / Pyro

1900 ATK / 1000 DEF

Lore: 1 "Wannabe" Tuner + 1 or more non-tuner monsters

When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle you can activate one of the following effects:

- Destroy 1 card

- Special Summon 1 "Wannabe" monster from your graveyard.

 

Tyler The "Warrior" Reality

XYZ / WIND

Rank 2 / Warrior

2050 ATK / 1050 DEF

Lore: 2 Level 2 "Wannabe" monsters

Once per turn you can detach 1 material from this card then destroy 1 card on the field. When this card is destroyed target 1 "Reality" monster except "Tyler The "Warrior" Reality" in your graveyard, Special Summon it, it cannot declare an attack this turn.

Nice reference to Tyler the Great Warrior with that last card.

Anyway, this archetype appears highly reliant on the field spell and the only normal summonable monster, the normal. In that vein, it is kinda like U.A.s where they NEED Midfielder and U.A. Stadium in order to start their combos.

The only issue I have is with the Extra Deck monsters. Since they can recover a Reality monster once killed, they will simply keep reviving themselves.

As for the play style of the deck, it is rediculously susceptible to Spell/Trap destruction and, well, getting attacked over.

Overall though, I like the concept. I need me another rank 2 engine besides raccoons.
