Conversing with CowCow solidified why I'm not fond of Ike as a whole. *prepares to be attacked by Ike fans* But okay real talk. Ike was okay and all. He was interesting in PoR, a kid over his head but managing to defy all odds. Then they made him generically badass and boring. Lyn however is a really cool character. Sure the whole "secretly has rich relatives" thing is done often but it's still really cool. When she speaks in the prologue, recalling the massacre of the Lorca tribe, my jaw dropped.
