Evogear, the Evolving Machines! [12/12]

So I decided to dust things off of the ol' LV mechanic and try my hand at creating one that started from a single gear.  All art was found on Google/M M's card dump.

Let's get this thing rolling!

These field spells have LVs of their own and they are built to benefit the LV mechanic in general.  Just thought I might as well post 'em since I do have a LV archetype as well.  You can skip over them if you want since they offer nothing specific to the Archetype.

This card may not be targeted by your opponent's card effects. Once per turn, if a LV monster you control battles, you can pay 500 life points to increase that monster's ATK by 1000 until the End Phase. During your Standby Phase, you may destroy this card and add 1 "Evolution Zone LV 2" from your deck to your hand.

This card may not be targeted by your opponent's card effects. Twice per turn, if you Special Summon a LV monster, you may add 1 LV monster whose name is in the card text of the summoned monster from your Deck to your Hand. During your Standby Phase, you may destroy this card and add 1 "Unstable Evolution Zone LV 3" from your deck to your hand.

This card may not be targeted by your opponent's card effects. If a LV card is played, you may shuffle 1 card from your Graveyard into your Deck then draw 1 card. During your End Phase, destroy this card, then you may play 1 "Evolution Zone LV 1" from your Deck or Hand.

...And now for the Archetype itself!

During your Standby Phase, you may tribute this card to activate 1 effect:
- Special Summon 1 "Evogear LV 2" from your Hand, Deck or Graveyard.
- Special Summon 1 "Evogear LV 3" from your Hand or Deck

The Gear that gets everything going.  To be honest though, this card isn't the most necessary of the cards, but it does give you a starting choice.  Run it or not.

If this card was Special Summoned through the effect of an "Evogear" monster, this card can attack directly. During your Standby Phase, you may tribute this card to activate 1 effect:
-Special Summon 1 "Evogear LV 4" from your hand or deck.
-Target 1 "Evogear" monster you control. This turn it can attack directly.

Here's where things get fun.  This card is either another jumper or, if it is on the field with a bigger gear, it can give it a way to swing for direct damage.

If this card was Special Summoned through the effect of an "Evogear" monster, this card can attack twice. During your Standby Phase, you may tribute this card to activate 1 effect:
-Special Summon 1 "Evogear LV 5" from your hand or deck.
-Target 1 "Evogear" monster you control. This turn it can attack twice.

LV 3 is, like 2, a battle booster.  It can jump to 5, but it can also grant an additional attack.  A boost from 2 and 3 on a powerful Gear can turn into a powerful finishing blow.

If this card was Special Summoned through the effect of an "Evogear" monster, effects cannot be activated when this card attacks. During your Standby Phase, you may tribute this card to activate 1 effect:
-Special Summon 1 "Evogear LV 6" from your hand or deck.
-Target 1 "Evogear" monster you control. This turn, when it attacks, cards and effects cannot be activated.

4 is, like most of the gears, offensively focused, but like the Ancient Gears, defensive when it attacks.  It also grants its protection effect if tributed and not used to level up.

If this card was Special Summoned through the effect of an "Evogear" monster, you may Special Summon up to 2 "Evogear" monsters from your hand whose combined levels are less than 6. During your Standby Phase, you may tribute this card to activate 1 effect:
-Special Summon 1 "Evogear LV 7" from your hand or deck.
-Special Summon up to 3 "Evogear" monsters from your Graveyard with lower levels than this card.

5 is Qliphort Disk for the Evogear monsters.  It swarms the field with an effect that, if the position can be held for a turn, provides a huge boost to the player during their next Standby Phase.  Of course, you’d need the gears in your hand for it to be a boon.

If this card was Special Summoned through the effect of an "Evogear" monster, this card gains 1000 ATK and DEF when it battles. During your End Phase, if this card destroyed a monster by battle you can activate one of the following effects:
-Special Summon up to 2 level 4 or lower "Evogear" monster from your hand or deck.
-Target 1 "Evogear" monster you control. It gains 1000 ATK when it battles. If it destroys a monster by battle, you may add 1 Level 3 or lower "Evogear" monster from your Deck to your Hand.

If you didn’t notice before, all the ATK/DEF of the Evogears were their level, squared x 100.  That’s why this card’s effect is what it is, as it makes its final attack/defense into the value I wanted.  Anyway, this card devolves into multiple gears for rebuilding or it can grant a huge ATK boost + searchability for a Gear already on the field.

This card can only be Summoned through the effect of an "Evogear" monster. "Evogear" monsters cannot be destroyed by battle and their effects cannot be negated. Once per turn, you can activate 1 of the following effects:
-Special Summon 1 level 6 or lower "Evogear" from your hand or deck.
-Banish up to 5 level 6 or lower "Evogear" monsters in your graveyard. Activate their second effects and target this card.

The final boss.  No, I wasn't going to make its ATK/DEF 4900, so I left it at the respectable 3000.  Basically, what I had in mind for this card was all the build up of the other Evogears were to make this.  If it uses its second effect and banishes Evogears 2-6, it gains up to 3 smaller allies, 1000 ATK, and the ability to attack directly...twice.

If an "Evogear" monster is tributed, you may send 1 "Evogear" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard to draw 1 card. If this card is in the Graveyard during your opponent's End Phase, you may banish it to Special Summon 1 level 4 or lower "Evogear" monster from your Graveyard.

The speed card of the deck.  This + the field spells can give a ridiculous number of pluses.

Activate this card when you would take damage. Reduce that damage to 0. Then, you may Special Summon up to 3 "Evogear" monsters from your deck whose total ATK is less than the damage you took.

Kuriboh + Multiple Damage Condensers = this card.  Hopefully using this can nab Evogears LV 1-3 for quick shenanigans during your turn.  Of course, you can reduce self inflicted damage to 0 with this (Aegis of Gaia,Dark Snake Syndrome, etc.) and still get a bunch of cards onto the field.  Of course, summoning them this way means they will be practically nomi monsters as they don't get their continuous effect.

[/spoiler]

Whew!  That took a good while!  So, what do you think about the constant evolution of the Evogears?

I Like this deck, there are lots of options you have if you would play with these cards.

I have 1 thing to note though:

the level 7 can hit 2x directly with 3000 ATK while your opponent cannot use any cards or effects (unless I read it wrong).

Except for that Good job imo

@Vinny

Yeah, the level 7 is quite the OTK machine isn't it? I would like to think it is justified simply because of how difficult it is to pull off. Firstly, you need to get it on the field. That is no mean feat as you need to summon it through LV5 and by no other ways. It is susceptible to summon removal as well. Then you need Evogears 2,3,4 & 6 in grave to pull off that OTK. That's probably not as difficult, but if your opponent interferes with your Graveyard, it could also be tedious. There's also nothing stopping fiendish chain from preventing it from attacking, even if it's effects can't be negated.

@chaotic

I guess I could make the protection more specific to only spells or something. To be honest, the protection was more of an afterthought, so I wouldn't mind removing it entirely.
Self-destructive, yes, but the deck also has the potential to be that much stronger later on. Of course, it lacks any kind of defense so it is really fragile as well (much like all the other LV monsters).
