Hello! I have returned for a semi-annual post, with a chance of coming out of the woodworks for more cards. I would appreciate any and all CnC, as I have found wording some of these cards to be a very big pain.

 

I truly enjoyed the Armor monster idea form the anime. Equipping a monster to help protect you. In that vein, you can choose to either summon these cards, or "Equip" them to yourself by placing them into your spell/trap zone as continuous spells. I am a bit worried about the Generic support this archtype can give to any deck, but they really shine when used together to build an impenetrable wall

 

In essence, they function very much as a stun/burn-based deck. They have multiple ways of protecting themselves, punishing the opponent, and preventing battle related effects. Unlike other stun decks, these cards let you play, but then you hit a very, very hard to break through wall.

If this card is in your hand, you can place this card in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a continuous spell card. While this card is face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone, reduce damage you would take by 500. You can only have 1 face-up "Active Armor Guard" in your Spell & Trap Card Zone at a time. While this card if face-up on the field, if a face-up "Armor" card would be destroyed, you can destroy a diffrent face-up "Armor" card on the field instead.

While this card is face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone, reduce damage you would take by 500. You can only have 1 face-up "Advanced Armor Shield" in your Spell & Trap Card Zone at a time. Once per turn, while this card if face-up on the field, if a "Armor" monster would be targetted for an attack, you can negate that attack.

You can only have 1 face-up "Armor Over Boost" in yourSpell & Trap Card Zone at a time. You can return 1 "Armor" card from your field to your hand; Special summon this card from your hand.

Once per turn, while this card is face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone, you can destroy 1 monster on the field. You can only have 1 face-up "Big Bang Blow Armor" in your Spell & Trap Card Zone at a time. If this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the graveyard, you can destroy all monsters on the field and inflict 1000 damage to both players.

Once per turn, while this card is face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone, if you would take damage, you can reduce that damage to 0. You can only have 1 face-up "Black Hole Armor Shield" in your Spell & Trap Card Zone at a time. If this card is destroyed, destroy all cards on the field.

Once per turn, while this card is face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone, you can inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of face-up armor monsters you control x200. You can only have 1 face-up "Burning Knuckle Armor" in your Spell & Trap Card Zone at a time. This card gains attack equal to the number of face-up "Armor"cards you control x 200

Once per turn, while this card is face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone, you can destroy 1 set card on the field. You can only have 1 face-up "Buster Knuckle Armor" in your Spell & Trap Card Zone at a time. If this card attacks a a defense postion monster, destroy that card before damage caculation.

While this card is face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone, you can discard 1 card; inflict 500 damage to your opponent. You can only have 1 face-up "Buster Pyle Armor" in your Spell & Trap Card Zone at a time. If this card battles, destroy the opposing monster before the damage step, and inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

While this card is face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone, if your opponenet declares a direct attack, you can destroy this card; End the battle phase. You can only have 1 face-up "Double Cloth Armor" in your Spell & Trap Card Zone at a time. This card cannot be destroyed by battle.

While this card is face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone, during either player's turn, you can destroy this card; Destroy 1 card on the field. You can only have 1 face-up "Jet Gauntlet Armor" in your Spell & Trap Card Zone at a time. This card can attack your opponent directly. If you attack using this effect, destroy this card after damage calculation.\

During your draw phase, while this card is face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone, you can add 1 "Armor" monster from your deck to your hand, instead of conducting your nomral draw. You can only have 1 face-up "Psychic Armor Head" in your Spell & Trap Card Zone at a time. During your standby phase, if this card is in your graveyard, you can discard a card; add this card to your hand.

Personally, I feel as though a suit of armor shouldn't need other parts to make it work, but I may have gone a bit too far without a few more restrictions. Please, I would love to make this archetype viable and balanced, I would accept any and all help! Thank you for reading!
