Archetype Game

Tinkerer

Recommended Posts

An archetype of Level 5 and higher warrior monsters. It has high attack and defense, and all monsters on the field must attack if able. It then comes with pendulums and synchro monsters that change the battle position of monsters. I think I just described the Junk deck.

Section XIII, and yes. The one from from Hellsing also known as Iscariot.

LIGHT Warrior-Type archetype. Aside from their boss monster, Section XIII Alexander Anderson, most don't have any effects preventing them from being destroyed by battle or by card effects. They focus partially on easy Special Summons, similar to Six Samurai, while the others focus on Tribute Summoning; the Tribute Summoned monsters cannot be Special Summoned, but in exchange are unaffected by Spell/Trap effects, monster effects, or cannot be destroyed by card effects. They also inhibit LIGHT and DARK monsters your opponent controls.

Millennium(And yes; this one's from Hellsing, too).

Millennium Archetype

A group of high level Normal Monsters that make use of over-the-top spells and traps to make up for everything else. They are generally splashed in other decks with the use of their spell card "Millennium Equipment" which boosts the stats of the equipped monster by the amount of a discarded "Millennium" monster.

An archetype of Fire Insect monsters. They have effects that activate when Tributed for the tribute summon of a fire monster. They play much like Monarchs, except they have pendulums to build up tribute fodder for their bigger monsters. Their boss monster is a level 10 monster who allows them to attack directly and prevents them from being destroyed.

(little bit o' ygo trivia, there are no Werewolf cards, all of them are called Warwolves. The more you know)

Werewolves

A group of level 3-5 DARK Beast-Warrior-type monsters whose full capabilities are unlocked while "Mystical Moon" is on the field. They also have a field spell that is treated as Mystical Moon while it is on the field. They are minor swarmers with effects that help them in battle. Their Rank 6 boss (who can rank up from any of their minor bosses) grants many passive bonuses and can detach for a hand-kill effect.

Garbage (note "Garbage Ogre" and "Garbage Lord")

A group of Fiends that focus on paying LP to summon themselves. Most of them have very low ATK, so they focus on quick rank 5 Xyz summons, but they also have a few level 3 members that can act as support and swarm. They have a Rank 5 boss that swaps the ATK and DEF of each "Garbage" monster on the field and grants targeting immunity, another that gives battle destruction immunity, and a rank 3 miniboss that acts as Life-Absorbing Machine with a body and a tutoring effect when it dies.

Archetype of EARTH Warrior-Type monsters. They each have an effect that activates when they're Normal Summoned and when they're Special Summoned. They also promote the user or inhibit your opponent if they control monsters that were Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, as the archetype has no Extra Deck monsters.

Archetype of EARTH Fiend-Type monsters that focus on Special Summoning and additional Normal Summons, all the while changing the names of your opponent's monsters to "Nameless". Other monsters of this archetype gain certain effects if your opponent controls "Nameless" monster(s).

Nocturne Lussec (Night Witch; hope I got that correct)

Heylin Archetype

A group of DARK Wyrm-type monsters with the ability to inflict burn on both players when summoned. They bide their time and during their MP2, if they did not attack, they can stack their Deck. Their spells and traps use their stacking abilities to gain further advantage or stun opponent strategies.

A series of Spell and Trap cards (no monsters whatsoever) that focus on spawning a bunch of tokens (which are all Machines) and giving them various beneficial effects. There are also cards that support the Spells and Traps themselves, either giving them destruction immunity, buffing their effects, or even turning them into monsters for a turn.

Archtype of WIND monsters based on already existing Normal Monsters (the lesser ones in this case). Examples include LaMoon, Dancing Elf, Battle Warrior, and Moon Envoy to name a few. Most focus on Special Summoning in a similar fashion to "Familiar Possessed", by Special Summoning from the hand or Deck by banishing the Normal Monster of the same name.

Lamia is a small engine series of cards based around draw power. They each have flip effects that allow you to draw 1 card for each one face up. They then have the ability to set 1 monster you control in order to do it again. They do not have anything else though, save for a couple of spell cards that allow them to swarm the field. They are all level 2 beast monsters with very low attack and defense.

A group of WATER Warriors wielding wet weaponry with wild will.

They specialize in changing places with each other by excavating the top card and Special Summoning it if it is a Fisherman monster on the same level as the one on the field. They also change their own levels to help with this. Of course, Umi needs to be on the field for any of these effects to work.

A group of DARK level 2-3 zombie-type monsters that spam Ranks 2, 3, 4, 6 & 9 by using their ability to multiply their levels with 1 other Reaper monster you control and then making their levels the same. They also have hand and deck disruption abilities.

A group of EARTH and WIND monsters whose effects revolve around returning themselves and/or other cards you control to the hand. The archetype also contains several Equip Spells that gain or give bonuses if they're activated multiple times in a turn.

Bird of Paradise is a series of cards that work similar to Simough. They cause both players to gain 1000 life points during your end phase. They then have spells that reduce your life points for draw power. They have a rank 7 XYZ that can bring your opponent's life points down to yours if you have less life points.

Archetype of LIGHT and DARK Fairy and Machine-Type monsters. Each monster is a human manifestation of gaming consoles (Look up Hyperdimension Neptunia). Their Levels all vary, so you could run this

archetype with Reasoning. Most of the monsters base themselves off of Special Summoning, similar to "X-Saber" or "Six Samurai", but a bit faster than either of them. Their Extra Deck monsters are Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz.

Interspecies (and I am referring to Monster Musume)
