You may want to make Bea's monster effect "Once per turn", seeing if it successfully destroys an opponent's monster by battle, it can continue to do so until your opponent's Monster Card Zone is empty and proceed to a direct attack. Also, you added an additional "you" to Scholar's monster effect. Overall, I'd say this would be a great addition to Gemini monsters and might make them more relevant.

For Bea, I copied her effect straight from BLS, so I think she can only attack a second time because her effect specifically states "a second time in a row." rather than "this card can attack again".

And I fixed Crimson Phoenix Scholar's excess of "you"s, thanks for pointing that out.

How do you think these two will fare in Gemini decks with their scales and effects?

BLS has a once-per-turn clause.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned(from your hand) by banishing 1 LIGHT and 1 DARK monster from your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can activate 1 of these effects.

● Target 1 monster on the field; banish that target face-up. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect.
● During the
Damage Step, if this attacking card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: It can make a second attack in a row.

Not sure what would happen if the once-per-turn clause weren't there, but other cards with similar effects (but no once-per-turn clause) seem to use the wording "it can attack once again in a row." Perhaps that would be safer?

Edit: Stygian Sergeants uses the same wording as BLS and seems to work the same way, so maybe you're fine after all.

your monsters dont say pendulum on them....

Now they do. Thank you for pointing that out.

But I would rather you comment on the effectiveness of their effects on Gemini decks as a whole rather than just point out something superficial.

Gemini's usually have solid stats with an amazing effect(Example: Crusader Endymion = 1900 stat with amazing effect and no draw back. Evocator = 1900 with amazing effect). The current issue with Geminis is wasting your normal summoning or relying on cards like supervise to give them there amazing effect. So I would say this dependence and Geminis slower paced allows you to alter your cards Attack stats to the maximum 1900 if you want and remove certain conditions from there effect. The Pendulum mechanic and the Pendulum effects on your cards are great for offering this sub archetype much needed speed. Scales from 1-9 is great for users who still want to use Phoenix Gearfried.

Bea the Stingy Princess: I'd say bump to 1900. A moderate effect for a Gemini.
Crimson Phoenix Scholar: Wolfbark for Geminis but being a Gemini means it's much slower but still a worthy card for what it does. I'd probably remove "If all monsters you control are Gemini Monsters" from it's effect.
Liberator of Possibilities: Good Draw power

If these were actual cards they would be great additions to Gemini's :7611_key:

Cute Miku.

I took your advice and fixed Bea and Scholar.

I also added Goblin Chevalier to directly support Equip Spell Gemini decks. Also offers protection and ATK boost. Also to complete the set since 3 Pendulum Monsters seemed odd (puns), so I made a fourth to even the scale (more puuuns); they all need a partner!

  • 8 months later...

The cards you made have good effects to help the Gemini and is balance since you still have to double summon them to add there second effect on the field.

Also I made a mock deck using your cards, they run well but still the double summon part Is a bit tricky since theirs not many plant pendulums in the game as of now. I would love to see a plant Gemini, type pendulum scale 10, 3 star earth type to help small plant decks type monsters

I hopeing that konami  make pendulum card that works with the Inmato monsters(tomato) that world make my day since I use them a lot.
