a bad post Posted June 14, 2015 Report Share Posted June 14, 2015 [spoiler=The Fantastic and Wonderful Actress Sensation]Name: Kaede NagaiGender: FemaleAge: 18[spoiler=Appearance]Kaede stands at a relatively average height of 5'4" (162 cm) and weighs a petit 101 lbs (45 kg), which makes her slightly underweight for most girls her age, but well the fitness and diet regiment of an actress is never easy. Despite what her slight frame may present Kaede is actually quite strong and athletic. She is very agile and flexible, and has impeccable balance and coordination able to do complex acrobatic maneuvers even in the heels she usually wears. Kaede often dresses in a very outlandish manner, and since her debut as a child it has evolved into sort of tradition to see what crazy outfit she will wear next. This sense of eccentricity that follows her has made her very popular among the teen and pre-teen crowd, and many of her fans can often be identified by their odd mode of dress. This sense of weirdness she seems to carry about her is a surprising contrast to the graceful and almost elegant way Kaede moves. Much like her sense of unique style and colorful personality Kaede's duel disk, the CHROMA, is styled in a custom pallet to match. Kaede's duel runner, the Milano, is a modified version of the standard Bolger & Co. β ver. model that has been recolored by Kaede with spray paint and paint bombs to give it a unique feel. Other than aesthetic changes that Kaede has made, with the help of others who have more mechanical experience than her to give the Milano an extra kick. Despite the fact that β ver. models are designed to be fast by design due to their compact and streamlined form, Kaede has modified the engine of her Milano to allow it reach a top speed that can out race most other D-Wheels. The Milano also has been modified to have more maneuverability, allowing Kaede to "show-off" a bit during her turbo duels. A notable feature standard to the β ver. D-Wheel is that rather than have the owner plug their Duel Disk into an interface the β ver. has a built-in duel platform which takes a upside-down horseshoe shape. [spoiler=Personaltiy]Kaede projects an outward personality of a quirky and silly, giving of an upbeat and energetic persona to the public. Kaede is the kind of person who couldn't blend in if she wanted too. Wherever the young starlet goes the media is sure to follow post haste. Nobody really knows what gives Kaede the attention and fame she has gotten, and while she is a talented actress, the young woman has not performed any role that the amount of media coverage she gets would lead one to believe. Even her sense of out there fashion is nothing unique having been done before by Western singers such Madonna or Lady Gaga. Some believe it is the young woman's youth and vigor that is the source of her fame that has contributed to her quick rise to the status of household name, and other believe that the media simply sees her as pure and stainless, and wishes to expose her for the "juicy story". Truth is, at the end of the day even Kaede doesn't know the source of her star power. It's undeniable that Kaede has star power though, and lots of it. Even before she began practicing her public image Kaede had natural charisma that just drew others towards her. Always the popular girl in school Kaede never had any shortage of friends, and never quite had much difficulty keeping them either. Ever the socialite Kaede's kindness and friendliness has always given her the ability to charm herself into people's hearts, and her positive glass half-full attitude doesn't hurt either. Despite her seemingly careless and impulsive personality Kaede is actually very deliberate and cautious in everything she does making sure she does not misstep and always makes sure to keep up the perfect mask she has created for the Kaede that faces the world. That being said, Kaede is not necessarily fake either, the "real" Kaede is simply less guarded and cares less of her image, or the image others perceive of her. While away from the public eye Kaede acts much like she does in the media sphere - cheerful, outspoken, and as described by her mother a "sweetie pie". The only real difference between the two is who Kaede seeks to please. When faced with an audience Kaede "lives" for her fans, but in reality she would simply rather go to her room and draw something. That is the part of herself that Kaede keeps locked away. Her creativity. The sense of self that she as a person has is completely devoid from her public persona. [spoiler=Biography]Kaede was born into a relatively normal upper-middle class family the young child, and only girl, of three. Until the 10 Kaede led a very normal life, though her mother often pushed her into pageant events, which is eventually where the young woman was discovered by a talent agent who had been attending the competition. And so Kaede was started down the long road to becoming a child actor, and in no time the young Kaede had little time for herself between all the training, and practices she was forced into. One would think with the sudden workload forced onto such a young child she would grow resentful, and become wild, yet Kaede never did. The young lady quietly accepted the opportunity that had been presented to her, and while she didn't initially want it, Kaede has come to enjoy her occupation as an actress (though extra spending money and comfortable lifestyle it affords also probably contribute to this). When Kaede finally did premiere on the big screen the young lady was a big hit both on and off the screen. The performance was masterfully given, for a child her age, and scored the fledgling actress a spot on many now popular TV shows and movies. Thankfully unlike many child stars upon entering the realm of teenage years she did not down spiral into illegal substance abuse, or acting out, which her agent, Inoue, is quite thankful for. So far the young woman has kept a clean track record leaving little of her personal life for the media hyena's to sniff out, and kept her closet relatively skeleton free. As many modern stars do once they gain enough traction and fame the young girl began exploring other areas of the entertainment business. Kaede did modeling jobs, appeared on famous talk shows to chat about her new roles, co-hosting award shows, the young woman even explored types of acting in voice acting and started who own fashion label with Inoue's help. With such wide coverage it is unsurprising to learn how the name of Kaede Nagai exploded so quickly, and why she has become such popular among the younger generation. Yet it still wasn't enough. Inoue wanted to propel the Kaede fandom to critical mass, but what else was there for the young lady to do. Well she was a talented actor, but past that Kaede didn't have any entertainment talent past that, I mean the girl couldn't sing if her life depended on that. She was a decent artist, but well there's not much fame to be garnered there. And there-in lied the problem. A way for Kaede to show-off her skills as a performer, but at the same time to do something different, something explosive that draw more people to the young actress' appeal. And that's when Inoue had an idea. Why not dueling? The entertainment platform was perfect to take Kaede to the next level. Yet she couldn't just duel. No standing duels were far too boring, she had to something more exciting. And so Kaede entered the world of turbo dueling. So when the Satisfaction sect rose to combat those of ANTM that Kaede stood with them partly for herself, and partly for her public image as a turbo duelist. She thinks of herself as a funny person, though her jokes just make people feel awkward. However, when she is dueling, she enters an almost zen-like state where she can fully harness her dueling abilities. However, after the duel is over, she has no memories of her harsh and evil personality, and continues on with her cheery personality afterwards. While in her dueling state, she is antagonistic, unforgiving and seen as a nightmare.Yet, when she is her happy self, she has no idea of her darker side or her incredibly destructive Xyz Monster. When it comes to watching peers, she'll shout highly encouraging words and try to cheer them up at any costs. [spoiler=Biography]Hope was created with the simple intent of gathering information, yet was equipped with a dueling deck for defensive purposes. She easily managed to gather the simplest bits of information of pretty much anybody, and has often been challenged to a duel beforehand. Yet those who watch her duel are often scared by her, after seeing her terrible and powerful darker side. Unfortunately, she is not aware of this state she goes in, nor the ruthless power she holds. Her programming has refrained her from using her Xyz Monster unless absolutely necessary, and such a situation has not yet come to be.
