As it turns out, she had a tumor in her brain. I haven't gotten word if it was cancerous, but that's possible. She's actually had cancer before, and has had a similar surgery in her brain. This was when she was young.

 

She found the tumor one day when she was washing her hair in the shower. She was shampooing and felt a bump. Since then, she's been suffering.

Okay, so it's probably MRSA. My first gf probably has MRSA.

 

You all know how bad MRSA is. If you don't, a simple google search leads me to:

 

Early and aggressive treatment increases the patient's chances of survival and close monitoring is required. Recovery from mild sepsis is common, but mortality rates are approximately 15% and mortality rate for severe sepsis or septic shock is approximately 50%. For MRSA patients the mortality rate is 20 – 50%.

 

Is it too late to ask for more prayers?

 

EDIT: Oh yeah, this tumor is in the head causing her headaches like Zue's, but her nose is bleeding rather than her ears.

How long have the doctors given her to live if the worst indeed happens, and she passes from this?

 

But in any case, best wishes for both you and your girlfriend in a time when they're needed most. 

Hopefully things work out for the better in the coming days.

She's going in for surgery on the first.

Oh man, dude, one bad thing after another. :(

I really hope that this turns out like it did for your friend. I've heard of MRSA and, yeah, not good.

I can only give my prayers and wishes for a safe recovery, and hope that it's enough.

Wonderful for you sire! I don't know the entire background of this whole case (Though I tried to get some context), but I can say I understand the experience of potentially losing a lot of friends. I myself and my bf have lost several of our friends as a result of our friends (Luckily my bf was out of the area and I kept him out of trouble) not exactly being in the greatest of neighborhoods and people getting into drugs. We basically only have each other and my bf's family as people we get around and we are our best for one another because of such. I can't imagine losing such a valuable person to something like MRSA, so I am more than happy for you that she is okay. I wish for you that your situations improve and that you wind up as happy as you can be in spite of recent events.
