"If there's one thing I want to know in the world, it's why."

Name: Lena Cessely

Sex: Female

Age: 20

Appearance:
2730b66c6e.jpg

Lena Cessely is a short, agile girl, standing at only 5'6" and weighing approximately 113 pounds. She has bright silver hair with blue and purple roots that flourish most under sunlight. She also wears a blue ribbon hairband to keep most of her long hair from falling into her eyes. Her eyes are a peculiar hazel yellow-ish, a trait that only her mother had. She wears a white and blue uniform adorned with a yellow tie. The outfit consists of a serafuku and a small skirt that barely reaches past her knees. She also wears black thigh-highs and black flats. Her weapon, Artemis, is tarnished with silver and blue lining, and glistens just as brightly as Lena does.

Personality:
Lena Cessely is always confident with herself. She's smart and witty, and always has her face stuck in a book, either to gain more knowledge or simply to pass the times. Lena LOVES books. She swears by them. There isn't a subject in the world that doesn't bore her due to her thirst for knowledge. She can read through an entire archive in less than a week, absorbing and assimilating all of the necessary information in order to learn about the world that she lives in, and what can be done to fix it. Records, documents, and archives all dictate that something is happening within Brittania, and all she wants to do is figure out what. She is what you might call a "bookworm". Aside from that, however, her personality is always very bright and sharp. She loves giving people her courageous smile and warm heart. In combat, she is calm, quick on her feet, and never hesitates. She has fought against several renditions of automatons in the past, and with each one she fights she only becomes more and more skilled at handling her bow.

Biography:
Lena was raised in a home by herself (no siblings) with her mother and father. Because of that, she was shy growing up and never really made any friends. However, when she was 13, she found a strange device sitting on her father's desk one day, along with a piece of paper inside of a book. Lena examined the weapon, and it turned out to be an Anima-infused weapon, and that the piece of paper said it was a gift to her from her father. More curious, however, is the contents of the book she was examining. It was a documentation about several rogue factions in Brittania, and that this kind of general information, if leaked to the public, could be disastrous to the infrastructure of the Britannian Military Service. One night, when Lena's father came home, after he had found out Lena had been reading the open documentation, he burned all of the books in the fireplace, and cursed Lena for reading up on this information.

A few months later, the family moved closer to Daedalus College, to a nearby settlement that allowed the family to see the entirety of Daedalus College. At this time, Lena's father began crafting and perfecting the use of automaton weaponry. Lena's mother was distant about the entire subject, usually only focusing mainly on garden work and keeping the house looking nice and beautiful. As Lena grew up, she would practice archery every day with her newly-found Anima weapon, which she called Artemis. Every day she would become better and better, sniping even distant tree logs with her new skill in archery. She found the device to be delicate and intricate: bladed weapons were too heavy for her and the technology used for other ranged weaponry like guns didn't appeal to her. Thus, she possessed and further honed her attribution to the art of the bow and arrow.

One day, a passerby noticed her remarkable skill after she shot an arrow through an apple on a tree trunk three-hundred meters down-range. The passerby claimed to be a Knight-Operator, a person who worked solely for Britannia's military force. He claimed that he could draft Lena into the army if she could hit the hilt of his sword one-hundred meters down-range. Lena made the shot perfectly, which left the man astounded, and immediately drafted her to become a Knight-Operator. That same day, however, Lena's father began burning all of his books like a madman, nearly setting the entire house on fire. The only words to leave his mouth were "No one must know of Britannia! No one must know!". Lena's father then disappeared shortly after that, leaving Lena's mother to be the only one to take care of her. It wasn't long after that, however, that she looked over the hill to the prestigious mountain of a school in the distance, which could only be claimed the Daedalus College. She had heard that only nine out of ten students actually graduate there. With her mind set of breaking that stereotype, she fills out the paperwork and applies to the nearby college, after being offered to become a Knight-Operator.

But her motives are clouded by the ambition to really find out the truth. What happened to her father, and what drove him to the edge of madness that one day? Why are people so keen on keeping everything in Britannia a secret? Maybe this time, her thirst for knowledge may actually be her own downfall...

Equipment: The Artemis CL-90 model is not her own weapon. It was a gift given to her by her father, who was an exemplary engineer and focused all of his time into making automatons that were lightweight and easy to handle. The anima-infused weapon greatly evolves the user's fighting capability, while still maintaining their agility. The arrows are made with a fine thinly veiled metal, most likely silver given it's lustrous shine. However, it does not compromise agility for firepower, and the arrows retain their rigidity and sharpness while also being lightweight. For Lena, this is an added bonus, given her small frame.

Abilities:
Steady Aim: Lena can slow her breathing down in order to more accurately fire shots. This is a trademark skill for most snipers.

Rural Warfare: Lena can easily study the lay of the land, getting a bearing on her surroundings and can easily affirm any scenario in which plains, deserts, wastelands, and forests could be potential battle spots. In Urban Combat, however, tall buildings and enclosed spaces make her not as mobile, so she suffers from heightened anxiety and stress.
Eagle Eye: Things like dust in the air, pollen, and sharpshooter syndrome will not affect Lena, and her accuracy is greatly increased.
"Life can be painful, but i want to help everyone get through it with a smile"

Name: Charlotte Van Holland

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Occupation: Freshman
contest__steampunk_challenge_by_caroucom

Charlotte stands at 1.8 metres (4 centimetres are given by the boots....) and weighs around 60 kg. She's pretty thin and usually wears as depicted in the picture. Her outfit is formal but also perfect for battle being quite light. She has long curly pink hair and big light blue eyes. She's very affectionate to her hat.

Charlotte is quite shy and doesn't talk very often. She's extremely nice and would do anything to help others in need. She loves nature and flowers and is very knowledgable of them, her hobby is taking long walks in any type of nature environment. She has a strong force of will and is hard to let down. Although she's not brave and that's one of the main reasons why she chose to come to Daedalus College, to turn herself, the rabbit, into a lion.

She's very naive and easy to fool, but once she realizes that she's been fooled you probably don't want to be near her. She's always thinking about something, it can vary from the reason the world exists to what she could go eat after. She always has a smile on her face, even if very little. She's the emblem of positivity and always tries to see what's good in any situation. People around her get a feeling of warmness due to her niceness. She's always there to support her friends and the people she loves. She often misses her deceased father, and the second reason why she got into Daedalus College is because of that, to honor him.

Charlotte was born in Holland, in a quite wealthy family. She lived there for her entire childhood. Her father was a general officer in the army, but died in war when Charlotte was 14. Her mother is an archeologist, she's also the one who found Charlotte's artifact. After her father died, Charlotte turned very gloomy and rude. This went on for a while, until she realized that because of that she was alone, she decided to fix everything that was broken because of her personality, she apologized to everyone, and bonded more with everyone. She was once again the smiling girl, but this time her smile was even brighter, like a star.

After Britannia's assault to Holland, she and her mother decided to move to Scholomance in Britannia. This town was the home to Daedalus College, a prestigious academy. Charlotte decided to join it, to honor her father.

She's the holder of a Daedalus Artifact, the Lumina Mechanism. She wears this artifact as a simple necklace, not knowing it's actual abilities. It was gifted to her by her mother when she turned 18, though her mother didn't tell her the true story of that necklace. It looks like a clog of silver gears with an amethyst in the middle. The characteristic of this artifact is that for it to gain new abilities you have to solve special puzzles to dissolve each gear and let more power of the Anima infused gem pass through.

This artifact has the ability to manipulate light itself to a certain extent, mostly for defensive purposes. It has many abilities that Charlotte has yet to unlock.

The only ability unlocked right now is the Firefly Shield. This ability allows her to summon a shield of light all around her like a bubble, protecting her and all the other people inside it. nothing can break the shield, but as long as it's active no one can get out of it, so Charlotte has to deactivate it.
She can also sing very well
No more Gillian.
Gonna make another character instead.
6flWxO5.png
"Treachery is shared between the rich and the poor, the nobles and the gutter rats alike. It's unbiased like that."
Name: Attwell O'Donogh
Age: 19
Sex: Male
Occupation: Freshman
Iy7dzme.png
160 cm, 47 kg
Attwell has a rather lithe body that suits his profession. Even his face is rather fine, with the pointed chin and narrow nose. His Irish blood manifests in his fiery red hair and pale skin, though he lacks the telltale freckles that usually accompany such features. Prefers practical, airy clothing, and often has his hair in braids. His eyes are an interesting shade of mauve.
The aristocrats call him the Rat King, his enemies call him a wily fox, and his admirers call him the rogue of rogues. However, that's a part of him that developed out of necessity instead of naturally. He has learned brutality and cunning through experience and a deep-seated will to survive. His survival instinct is so strong that he doesn't blink an eye at eating trash or stabbing somebody in the eye. He oozes confidence, charm, and a kingly aura.

However, deep down, he is a curious boy with a love of adventure. It is a long-held dream of his to become an explorer and go on expeditions to the dark wilds outside Britannia, accompanied by friends and automotons. Because of this, he keeps his Anima Core close, inlaid in the glove of his right hand where nobody can steal it. His dream at Daedalus is to learn to become an explorer, however, he recognizes the usefulness of learning to control his Anima. Because of this, he wants to take a mixture of courses between exploration and Anima control. However, he's determined not to slack off because of the ninety percent dropout rate.

Attwell has become paranoid after the life he has led, and is naturally suspicious of everyone he meets, though he hides it behind an easygoing smile and a warm greeting. Around those he trusts, he reveals the excited boy he really is, and is often accused of being immature, selfish, and excitable.
Attwell was born an orphan, one of the many that littered the slums of Camelot. He clambered to the top of the junk heap through guile, diplomacy, and sheer ruthlessness, eventually forming the Underground Court, where he is known as the King of Thieves, he who sits on the Shanty Throne. He rules the Court fairly, but shows no leniency for mistakes or betrayal. He has a rule: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." One mistake puts you on probation. The next nets you a one-way trip to the reaper. Attempted regicide, however, is dealt with swiftly and brutally.

Once, after a heist on a rich and cruel tycoon, Attwell discovered not only a brass telescope, but also what he assumed to be an Anima Core. The discovery also caused his Anima powers to awaken, and since then, he used them to great effect in his rule. His main goal is to prevent his people from disappearing, to keep them controlled, and to steal from the rich. Through this, he manages to maintain a whole society, and most of his subjects appreciate him for his efforts.

However, he made as many enemies as he did allies. And while most of them were eliminated right away, a tenacious few survived. One of them, a man calling himself "Smoke" held different ideals. While Attwell, despite his selfishness, ultimately cared for his subjects, Smoke sought only to use them as tools to ingratiate himself with the nobility. Building connections with the more corrupt nobles, he ended up becoming a sort of dogsbody for them, eventually involving himself with a plot to overthrow the emperor.

Some time after this, Smoke captured Attwell with the help of Anima weapons he was given from his noble allies, and the king ended up imprisoned along with another man, one who called himself Antony. Although the man was obviously a commoner by the clothes, Attwell couldn't help but feel a bit edgy around him. Against his instincts, he let the man accompany him during his escape, and even took a bullet for Antony during the attempt. Eventually, they confronted Smoke and while preferring executions and hidden kills to open conflict, Attwell fought him face-to-face and eventually won, his companion holding off the goons with surprising skill.

After the conflict, Antony introduced himself as a member of the Ministry of Secrets, though he wouldn't reveal his status within it. He had been sent to investigate and eliminate Smoke, which was why he had let himself get captured. Recognizing Attwell's potential, both in combat and the ability to use Anima, he offered to sponsor him to Daedalus for his own purposes.

Due to his appearance, most people assume Attwell got in via scholarship, and he lets them think that, as he'd rather not let his former activities be known.
• His outfit, complete with goggles and storage pouches
 • Telescope
 • Knives
What Attwell possesses and believes to be a mere Anima Stone, is in fact, something far greater.

Known as the philosopher's stone, or the elixir of life, it has been long sought-after by alchemists, collectors, and kings. There have been rumors of the stone's existence since the start of the 4th century, though some say that its existence heralds all the way back to the time of Daedalus himself. Thus, many believe that it is an Artifact of unimaginable power, though few know for sure. Many have attempted to create it themselves (albeit unsuccessfully), a process known as the Magnum Opus. Capable of turning base metals, the most common example being lead, into gold, the stone has been seen as the key to eternal riches, though nobody mentions the downside of inflation. It has also been seen as the key to eternal life, capable of rejuvenating a person, and, most importantly, reaching immortality. The process by which this would be achieved is obscure, but most assume that it is through a potion of some sort.

In reality, the stone uses Anima to atomically rearrange the structure of substances, also known as nuclear transmutation, or more precisely, artificial nuclear transmutation. Through this, it is possible to convert a given element into another (e.g. lead to gold). Any released energy is automatically absorbed into the stone before reaching the outside, preventing nuclear explosions. This transmutation can, on a larger scale, cause transdifferentiation by reprogramming the DNA in cells. Transdifferentiation is the process of one mature somatic cell transforming into a different mature somatic cell (e.g. liver to heart cell). Normally impossible to achieve except for a single species of jellyfish, this can prove wonders for restoring limbs and organs, and, more importantly, in achieving biological immortality.
• Attwell has pinpoint accuracy with knives and an intimate knowledge of the human body with all its weak points, veins, and arteries. He uses this to deadly effect.
 • Uses his Anima to detect and neutralize poisons as well as heal and regenerate himself. This was born out of his personality, so instead of using it to augment his combat abilities, he focuses on survival.
 • Is interested in learning to use it to increase his senses and speed.
• Easily impatient with rich people
NThkBey.png
"Oh drat, I trailed on for a bit there, didn't I?"
Name: Bartholomew "Bart" Edward Stanley
Age: 34
Sex: Male
Occupation: Alchemy Professor
EHSStB4.png
180 cm, 60 kg
While somewhat wiry, Bartholomew has a fairly trim build. He has British white skin, lank brown hair, and watery brown eyes covered by glasses. His clothes are usually stained from his alchemy and charred at the edges.
Bartholomew is the stereotypical absent-minded professor. Or, you could say he's high in intelligence, and low in wisdom. He tends to go off-subject while teaching a lot, but manages to connect it all back to his teaching subject somehow. He is a bit neurotic and obsessive about his alchemy. Is extremely precise and hates messes. Is a much better researcher than a professor, but tries his hardest to do well for his students. He tends to grade strictly, but puts out lots of extra credit and research opportunities. One of his problems is that he is a natural with alchemy, so it's difficult for him to relate to those that struggle with it, and his explanations are often lacking.

Outside of the classroom, he is a rather odd fellow. While raised to be a gentleman from his upbringing, he is naturally oblivious and shy, as well as nervous around women. Is the type that is easily picked on. Is also a bit slow on the uptake, and often is the last to find out about "trends" or the latest news. Most people consider him a bit of an oddball. Tends to sulk when his peers or students pick on him. Usually cannot tell when somebody is insulting him, and gets a bit flustered when he realizes that they are. Completely lacks the air of nobility that usually shrouds someone of his stature. Instead, he took on the nerdy aura of his fellow guildmates.
Born the second son of the Earl of Derby, Bartholomew had more freedom to do what he wanted than his brother. After receiving a scholarship to attend Daedalus Academy, he attended and majored in alchemy, minoring in gunmanship. From then on, he went into research and joined a famous alchemy guild. There he learned about the famous Philosopher's Stone, said to be one of the Daedalus Artifacts. However, unlike most other alchemists, he is perfectly content with what he can do with alchemy alone, and considers the Philosopher's Stone a "cheat."

Only recently has he decided to return to Daedalus as a teacher, mainly because of the dearth of alchemy specialists.
• Clothing such as his vest and hat
 • A necklace of polished amber and a family heirloom (decorative only)
 • Lancaster Pistol
• Fairly decent with pistols
 • Specializes in alchemy
 • > Alchemy is the usage of anima to control the energy in a substance. This can cause molecules to break apart, form together, etc. It allows for explosions, changes in the states of matter (e.g. from liquid to solid), and the ability to both neutralize and create acids and bases.
• Practicing alchemy
 • Holing himself up in the library for research
 • Drinking unknown alchemical solutions "for research"
 • Sponsoring the Alchemy Club(?)
• His sense of taste has become warped from all the substances he's consumed

I'll be looking through all the apps tomorrow so far. It should be noted that your abilities should improve over the course of this RP, at least for students, so don't be too OP.

Also, it'd be very convenient if you all added a field to your app to tell us what you are (e.g. Teacher, Year 2 Student, etc.)
”Knowledge is power, and I’ll be the one to wield it one day.”

Personal Information

Name: Mayora Mayonice

Age: 18

Sex: Female Male

Date of Birth: July 3rd

Occupation: Freshmen
3127425530999d80b59b633a8ff466d70e1f6e0c

149 cm height, 39 kg weight. Since arriving in Britannia he usually wears something matching with the other people there, however. No points in showing people that he’s from Yamato.
Shy, but really easy to anger, Mayo is not really someone that would appreciate jokes made on his expense, especially in regard to his height. Self-conscious about the fact that he’s really short than what was normal on his environment, any mentions of that fact could easily anger the normally shy and reserved boy. He is also self-aware of his feminine-looking figure and a name that is way too similar to a certain type of food product, and any attempts to make jokes on those would make him go livid.

Outside of that, however, he’s pretty shy and reserved, mainly since he hasn’t really adapted well to life in Britannia. As much as he wanted to be a proper citizen there, for now he feels like he’s just a fish out of its pond. Not that he dislikes his old homeland like his parents, he just desired the ability to connect with others around him, and his awkwardness in interacting is hampering him in this matter. So far, most of his interaction with others ends up with them labeling him as a funny foreigner if nothing else, mainly due to how awkward he acts in front of them. Though, don’t let this make one think that he’s a doormat, because he has a high level of pride behind all those shyness, and he’s a very determined person when it comes to getting what he wants.
Born in a quite an influential family in the Karakuri shogunate in Yamato, Mayo, who had another name back then, was tutored in a strict way to groom him as the next heir of the family. Even if he didn’t really get much knowledge from all the statesmanship, swordfight, and horsing classes, he was very interested in automatons and anima-based studies in general, and no matter how much her family pushed him to be able to handle the other subjects, he still persistently only studied those two subjects diligently, and end up being a good anima-based healer at 13 years old due to his extensive knowledge on anima and its interactions with the wholeness of a machine and a human’s body.

When he was 15, during a dark night, without warnings his family packed stuffs up and ran away from their residence while dragging him with them, without the young boy knowing about the actual reason of why did his family do this. It was simply due to the emperor accusing the family of treason, and to avoid being executed en-masse, his father decided to just try to escape to another land. It was a hard venture, but ended up being a success, as they safely managed to dodge the patrol ships on their makeshift small boats and reached the mainland of a nearby continent. They ended up learning that it was a Britannia colony not long after, and after 1 year of living there, they decided to try their luck in the main empire of Britannia itself. Getting themselves to not be suspected as foreign spy was hard, but Mayo’s father decided to sell his former homeland to the Britannians by telling them about a lot of insider information regarding the very closed-off land. In the end they managed to settle down in a countryside town, and all was well for them despite of some hardships, until a mail came one day telling that Mayo managed to be chosen as a receiver of a scholarship from Daedalus Academy. The boy, who had been really itching to continue his studies after it was interrupted three years before, immediately had his spirit flared up in excitement of the notion.
Nothing, at the moment. He decided to start anew here so he can actually learn how people here do their automatons and contraptions.
Due to his extensive training and studies even before reaching the Academy, Mayo’s ability in channeling and utilizing Anima to machines and people, including himself, is very well developed, close to mastery even. While he prefers using this to heal or buff himself or others, he can utilize this offensively too. Specifically, his usual tactic is him using an intentionally flawed version of Anima Overdrive to another person, messing up their biological function due to the surge of Anima making their body desync, among other things. He can even mess up someone metabolism or internal organ function with this.

However, he’s far from a physically fit person, and almost had no skills in handling any weapons, so most of the time he just uses a knife or a short sword, but he used a specially built one, which able to channel anima through it.
-His name was like that due to his parents being unfamiliar with the proper naming scheme of people in Britannia when they renamed themselves to cut their ties to their old nation.
AvNl6V7.png?1

"Does it really matter how it works?"

flXNL54.png

Name: Roy Westlock
Age: 24
Sex: Male

Schooling Status: Returning Graduate

x393wz.jpg
J6zrUjW.jpg

Roy spends most of his time wearing his leather jacket, which he acquired during his active service in the Britannian Military. He is exactly 6 feet tall (183 centimeters) and weighs around 160 pounds (73 kilograms.) He has a very muscled physique, though between his jacket and loose pants, it is hardly visible.

x393wz.jpg
In a world obsessed with rotating gears and steaming pipes, Roy just… doesn’t get it. He learned from a very young age that the value of a person came from themselves, and using things like automata and other contraptions to augment your own capabilities is just cheating. Real men live off guts and guts alone! These are words Roy works to live by, and they have sparked a determination within him that surpasses most others, and has allowed him to excel in his own strengths, becoming a powerful Knight-Engineer (if he even qualifies as one.)

One of his strongest weaknesses (though occasionally it can act as a strength) is the fact that he is incredibly hot-blooded, living based upon his emotions, throwing reason away in favor of action. Despite the complex and intelligent plans of others, he is quick to charge forward, battlefield or not, and tackling whatever opposes him head-on. This kind of attitude is quite abrasive, especially considering his experience as a soldier for the Britannian army. Despite such attitudes, he is generally friendly to those he does not know, but forms impressions far faster than would be best for him. If a person rubs him the wrong way when he first encounters them, it is likely he will feel that way forever. There really is only one person he has changed his mind on.

This huge quantity of personality is often difficult for Roy to contain, and he has no sort of reservations against appearing standoffish, and even arrogant to those who don’t know him well. Hell, even the people who know him can tell he is an arrogant sonofajabroni. Of course, it is difficult to not be at least somewhat arrogant when you are among the most experienced and most capable of Daedalus College.

x393wz.jpg
Roy is the son of two automata engineers, but never showed any sort of inclination toward their technical work, instead demonstrating considerable amounts of athleticism. Wanting to support his natural talents, he was given the job of retrieving and delivering automata parts. Before long, he began to use Overdrive to accelerate his own body for these deliveries, and was discovered by Daedalus College scout, becoming enrolled at the age of 15.

Unfortunately, the majority of the school was far from his talents, and his first-year assignment was to create a fully-functional automaton by the end of the year, working with another student through the project. Fortunately for him, his assigned partner was Morgan Penn, a tall girl with some sort of tech fetish. Needless to say, she built the whole thing on her own, making a hulking lug of an automata that she aptly named “Big Turtle.” Somehow, he did not manage to be one of the 9 dropouts out of 10.

A couple more years passed before the two graduated.  Once again in agreement, the two decided to get their compulsory three years of service out of the way then and there, and served as a tag-team in a fair few battles, one of which caused the loss of his right eye, creating his blind spot, which is also his greatest weakness in battle.

Using Overdrive, the single technique he dedicated his entirety to mastering, Roy was able to take out large automata and encampments with his bare hands, jumping from target to target dishing out strategic mind and nearly indestructible Big Turtle, the pair of an Unstoppable Force and Immovable Object did quite a bit in their three years.  Once the three years ended though, Morgan left the frontlines for good, and without his walking fortress to duck behind, Roy was forced to follow her.

Three years have passed since their active military service, during which the pair have returned to living in Daedalus College dormitories. Roy knew that Morgan was continuing her studies so that she could become a teacher. As for himself? Well, he hasn’t figured out that part yet.

x393wz.jpg
Nothing. He doesn’t use automata, nor weapons of any kind.

x393wz.jpg
Without use of Anima, Roy is already highly physically fit, and performs well above expectations on various Britannia military drills. However, it is when he utilizes Anima for Overdrive when he truly shows his ability. Due to his lack of affinity toward technology, Roy has practiced using Overdrive on himself since before he was even inducted in Daedalus College. The result of this dedication to this single application of Anima, Roy has reach the point where he can effortlessly accelerate his reflexes and sensory processing rate (i.e. bullet time) so that he can easily outmaneuver most automata. His strength and speed are also greatly magnified, as is the standard for Overdrive, but Roy really brings it to another level completely, accomplishing truly superhuman feats, such as breaking through steel armor with basic physical attacks, his punches and kicks delivering forces comparable to high explosives. This style of get in fast and hit hard has earned him the nickname of “The Unstoppable Force”.

x393wz.jpg

[spoiler: Tristan]

Name: Tristan Oliver
Age: 42
Sex: Male
Occupation: Automaton Instructor
[spoiler: Appearance:]

african_american_fin2_by_direimpulse-d8r

6'1ft 185lbs

[spoiler: Personality:] Tristan is one of the most polite, gracious and generous people you will ever meet. Of course this comes as no surprise since Tristan is a person who has attended etiquette training  at the legendary Her Royal Pambridge's Academy of Fine Arts. In addition to his etiquette Tristan has a profound respect for knowledge. The more ways he can learn something the better. The downside is that everything in the  pursuit of knowledge is fair game. Favors here, spies there and even a little bit of thievery if necessary. All is welcome when it comes to information. Tristan values information highly and he always keeps his eyes and ears open for all avenues of information. Tristan always respects "whispers." The gossip, secrets and dirt that always comes from populace. The more devious the better and when it comes from one who is influential, that is the best.

As a teacher Tristan comes across as the generous bestower of sage like wisdom that students would want from their teacher. He is never seen without a smile on his face and he always has time for students. Of course his most trusted students help to serve as his spy network in exchange for extra lessons in how to best utilize anima. His underground name is the "Master of Whispers" a nod to a fictional title from some book franchise. Other than his inner deviousness Tristan tends to pride himself on his intellect and knowledge of political matters. He's very goal oriented and very passionate about achieving his goals to hold some form political office.

[spoiler:Biography:]
Life is not always good for those who lived in Britannia. The prestigious beautiful city of Camelot held some dark secrets. Tristan was one of these dark secrets. Starting off life being dealt with the bad hand of being an orphan sold into psuedo-slavery Tristan spent his adolescence being used as the "experiment" for anyone who would pay his handler for him. On the rare plus side his "caretakers" were decent enough to pay for etiquette school because who wants a boy that isn't cultured? Nevertheless, he and his other troupe of misfits bonded together to try and change their circumstances. While realizing they were completely no match for their captures they learned how to use their anima. Quite a phenomena a bunch of younglings being able to use anima in one setting, but this is the thing that happened. Slowly but surely Tristan realized that his "clients" had plenty of secrets. Secrets were knowledge, knowledge was power and power was definitely valuable. While other catered their abilities to combat Tristan thought ahead. Needless to say he learned a lot of things with his abilities.

Then came the night of the massive rebellion where the kids rose up against their masters. Slaughter ensued in the middle of the night and the young ones went to the streets in elation with some stolen loot. In theory there would be some kind of investigation into the matter, but no one was willing to step forward and testify that they knew a bunch of boy peddlers. Unfortunately, within a week of being "free" the young ones realized that they were not able to live on their own. So they separated. While it certainly wasn’t the smartest move it was a group decision. From here Tristan made a living selling what he could to get by and little by little his talents for getting information were noticed. He was able to survive at the very least.

As soon as he was old enough Tristan joined enlisted in the military. That would have to be easier than his current lifestyle and comparatively it was. He was fed, taught hand-to-hand combat and further mastered his anima skills. It was in this part of his life that he managed to get his life together. He was proud and of course he wasn’t above taking another person’s life as his duty would require. But it was at this phase did the man iron out his goal in life and for that he would need to leave the military.

It was at this moment that he chose to look for jobs as a teacher. Luckily with global conquest being on the forefront of Britannia’s mind it was logical that he could train the future soldiers of tomorrow at Daedulus College. It was a good cover for him to be able to manipulate his spy network, who suspects a teacher after all. As he spent the years teaching he witness how one out of every ten students who applied actually got accepted into Daedulus and a third of those chosen students would become one of his little birds. Mostly unwittingly though. Nevertheless life has seemed to have plateaued now and Tristan waits for the next interesting adventure  that life may throw at him.

[spoiler:Equipment:]

Whisper Blade: A 4’ft black katana whip that when fully extended is 7ft. The blade is composed of a synthetic ore that reacts well with anima allowing skilled anima users to use it fluidly. This was a parting gift given to Tristan for all of his years of service in the military.

[spoiler: Abilities:]

Ultimate perception: While he is able to do the typical doping effects of anima his mastery of Anima allows him to amplify his senses of perception ten fold. This is not limited to his basic five senses they also include the other other senses that humans have. Including his sense of proprioception, chronoception, vestibular sense, etc. This makes him able to perceive and perform in perfect condition regardless of environment. In his heightened state he can perceive all information almost as clearly and accurately that spam with .5km radius. However when in this heightened state of awareness Tristan may only devote his attention on one subject at a time.

Hand-to-hand/Swordsmanship/Pilot: Being in the military for over ten years he has become very adept in the ways of combat while he knows how to use firearms he will never actually use them. He knows how to pilot an automaton yet he does not have his own. However he is a master with the sword and his fist.

[spoiler: Miscellaneous:]

Tristan doesn’t really have desires or fun. His enjoyment comes from learning new things and watching plans come to fruition.
Tristan is a functioning alcoholic (for good reason) not many know of his blatant alcoholism.
Sometimes Tristan has night terrors and to combat this he sleeps in the closet and prefers tight spaces in general.
Untitled22_zpsnyl16c9b.png
"I am the daughter of Ines Fitzgerald. And I'm here to finish what my mom started..."

Personal Information

Name: Stellar Fitzgerald
Age: 22
Sex: Female

Status: Senior Student
One could tell that Stellar had always been big for her age, but even then, there'd be no excuse for any attempt to disguise the fact that a man of average height could've peaked at such many years ago and then all of a sudden they find themselves out-heightened by some college chick at 188cm (6' 2"). True, to say that it's tall for a girl may very well be an understatement, but that's just a part of a complete package. With Stellar's height of 188cm comes with a large frame that results in her weighing 82kg (180lbs), thin but strong muscles and a BWH ratio of 34-24-34. The hairband that Stellar wears has been designed around two antennae that had punctured her skull and lodged themselves into her brain when she was 7 years old. Both of these antennae extend another 15cm (6") from each side of her head, and contain Anima cores about 5cm (2") above the base. Stellar already wears a white tank top and a black miniskirt, but to complete the look, she wears onyx black steel-toed combat boots.

3dceac3804ab0572c664b7ccfaf73c55216ab7a3
She may leave a trial of men's nosebleeds in her wake, but there's a strange thing about Stellar that wards off the vast majority of guys just as quickly as they were hooked to her body alone. She does have a solid case of Asperger's Syndrome, which is given away by the way that she ultimately acts towards others; that she'll admit, but she doesn't seem to think of this disability as being the cause for guys suddenly starting not to like her any more. However, what might have been given her a great deal of the trouble, aside from the lack of effort, is that while her emerald green eyes look beautiful, they feel soulless to the utmost extreme; especially if she uses a neutral expression which she does most of the time. The good news is that it gives Stellar a nigh unbreakable poker face. But she's never been able to express the true magnitude of her feelings, and as such, one has no choice but to take her word for what she says she feels at the time that she says it. Stellar is known to lightly smile at people on occasions, and certainly when said people do nice things for her, but even her best smiles are significantly weaker than those the normal person can manage. True, it could be said that her ability to express emotions had been jaded by one of several symptoms caused by Asperger's Syndrome, but even if that was true, the damage done by the antennae that were lodged into Stellar's brain would've suddenly rendered this ability completely non-existent, as the part of the brain responsible for that had been pierced by the antennae.

In any case, Stellar's Asperger's Syndrome does give her issues with processing information, and then reacting to that information. Truth be told, one does not simply expect Stellar to react at all. Of course, obvious exceptions include life-threatening situations. However, in one instance Stellar may only require as much time to make a decision as it would be reasonably expected for a decision of the same importance, but in another instance, Stellar may end up expending several additional seconds of her time and others', staring blankly at someone or into the distance in the meantime. Another key thing about Stellar is that she's oblivious to any kind of insult that someone may give her... regardless of how offensive that insult actually is. Unfortunately, she's equally oblivious to what exactly she sees at times, which results in her walking into an open locker door that she should've registered as seen coming a mile away, for example. Stellar is equally vulnerable to mishearing an important instruction, which can never be good. But as difficult as it sometimes is for Stellar to process information correctly, rushing her makes it infinitely worse 100% of the time.

Only one student manages to make it through Daedalus College out of every ten that enroll, and at first glance, Stellar might appear to be one of the... other nine. However, there's a hidden intellect that is somewhere within Stellar's mind; and it's this hidden intellect that aided her survival within the college for not just one or two, but for a grand total of five years! Stellar only has to survive one more year at Daedalus College with acceptable grades, before she can graduate from the academy itself.
Exactly one quarter of a century ago, Ines Fitzgerald had got herself expelled from Daedalus College during her third year, for conducting human experimentation during a school project. In her defense, Ines tried to explain to the that she was only trying to demonstrate how automatons can be used to replace limbs that were dismembered from the human body, and even claimed to have had permission from her supposed "test subject". But it wasn't enough; the headmistress at the time was still quick to shut Ines' justification down, and personally expel her to stop her from continuing her research within Daedalus College. Nonetheless, having decided that she'd learnt as much as she was ever going to, Ines moved onto to conduct her compulsory military service, where she applied as a medic for all the troops battling in the front-lines. Here, she met a private soldier by the name of Levy McRae, who she treated for a wound from a bullet that he'd taken for the Holy Empire. The two had known each other for 2 years before love suddenly sparked between the two, which then immediately got Ines pregnant. Despite her pregnancy, Ines continued serving as a medic for the military until Pvt. McRae took a critical hit from another bullet, and bled out before Ines and the other medics could reach him. After Ines' compulsory service was over, a memorial service was held for Pvt. McRae and the other soldiers who had fallen in battle. Ines had attended the service to pay her respects to the father of her child, but, embarrassingly enough, her water decided to break right in the middle of the service... which resulted in her being rushed to the hospital so she could give birth. And thus, Stellar Fitzgerald was brought to the world. However, it wasn't until a few years later until Stellar showed symptoms of Asperger's Syndrome. Of course, even to this day it's impossible to diagnose someone with Asperger's Syndrome, and even less possible to treat it. However, all this time, Ines knew something was wrong with Stellar the minute the young child started such symptoms, and she saw no hope for the girl in the foreseeable future. Despite that, Stellar was still Pvt. McRae's only child, and as such, Ines felt obligated to still raise her as any other child of her own. Eventually though, Ines had turned back to the research she attempted to conduct back in Daedalus College in a desperate bid for solutions, whilst Stellar found herself reading books about some mythological heroes and heroines. Eventually, Ines made a decision.

Ines had decided, since Stellar's future was otherwise impossibly bleak according to her, that she was going to make her own daughter into the first automatized super-soldier ever devised. At first, Stellar wasn't to sure about the whole process that Ines told her that she'd have to go through, but when she was promised that she'd be just like the mythological heroes and heroines that she was reading about, she agreed to become part of the project that Ines was working on. She was only 7 years old at this time. And so Ines begun work on her project, starting with the construction of the AID-C Anima Band. Of course, the idea was to drill two antennae through Stellar's skull just enough so that they'd have the slightest contact with her brain, then stabilize the two antennae so then her brain would never get punctured by the antennae no matter what happened to them, install a couple Anima Cores and work from there. Ines tried to be clever and have both antennae drilled in at the same time, but she overestimated how much Anima was required to achieve the result that she wanted, which in turn caused the drilled antennae to drill out Stellar's skull at an alarming rate, and pierce deeply into her brain before they could be stopped. Truth be told, it was a miracle that Stellar survived such an accident, but Ines never forgave herself for having ever made such a lapse of judgment. It was through this guilt that Ines had gone further and further into insanity, often slitting her own wrists, banging her head onto whatever hard surface she could find, screaming and cussing at the top of her lungs, and even breaking mirrors. Eventually though, although with quivering hands, Ines had managed to finish the AID-C Anima Band, and was about to do a whole lot more... but then government officials stormed the place with intent to wrest her away from Stellar. Before they had the chance, Ines slashed her own throat right in front of everyone, while Stellar cowered in fear underneath a table. However, Stellar could never understand why Ines was so desperate to defend her research with her sacrifice. She didn't even know whether or not it was said research that the government even wanted from her.

Flash forward a little over a decade now, and Stellar went for her scholarship for Daedalus College, having ultimately aimed to finish researching what Ines had started. She was hoping to learn at least a little bit on necromancy during her time at the college; more specifically how to extract information from the dead that they had in life. But there was no information on the subject to be found anywhere, not even in any of the books within the library, of which she searched everywhere. She shouldn't have been surprised that the college wouldn't allow students to play around with anything as taboo as necromancy, but was disappointed that she couldn't learn anything from her mother. But she stayed with them nonetheless, and continued with her studies. Perhaps Stellar would make a breakthrough on her own.

Combat Information
AID-C Anima Band (Headgear): As a parting gift before her suicide, Ines had began working on a piece of headgear that would not only prevent Stellar's brain from taking any more damage from the antennae that were lodged inside being shifted around, but also put said antennae to good use. This device takes the form of a hairband with "rabbit ears", so to speak, and has 2 Anima Cores powering the device. Put simply, once any part of an enemy automaton's body comes within 1 yard of Stellar's position, the device literally bombards that automaton with commands that the original constructor may not have even though of, never mind intended, which the automaton executes without fail. It maybe theorized that Stellar can use the device to turn automatons against each other and/or their original creators. But when all is said and practiced, "control" is the wrong term to use in its entirety; the commands issued to enemy automatons are made completely at random, and what the device ends up doing instead is throw them into a state of disorientation while its active and Stellar is within range. Both Anima Cores will glow turquoise in color when the device has been activated, but despite the obvious signs, Stellar can still use it without warning due to her ability to activate and deactivate the device telepathically.

Supernova Hellfire (Weapon): Stellar's signature weapon, which she constructed on the first day at Daedalus College. On one hand, the Supernova Hellfire is a big, mighty war-hammer that can deliver blows as devastating as one would expect from an explosion, and literally leaves craters on whatever gets struck by it. However, there's a big lever near the head of the Supernova Hellfire, and once that's thrown, the shaft rapidly hollows out, and elongates slightly. In addition, another hunk of metal pops up close to the head of the Supernova Hellfire, so Stellar can better mount its new form onto her shoulder, and a trigger handle drops out from the middle of the shaft itself. All Stellar has to do from there is pull said trigger and a rocket is shot from the Supernova Hellfire in a relatively straight line. In this "rocket launcher" form, Stellar can easily drop any rocket she can get her hands on down the shaft, and it'll lock itself in place until the next time the trigger is pulled. Just carrying the Supernova Hellfire alone takes a considerable amount of natural physical strength and stamina, due to the sheer weight of the weapon itself, but unless one is adept at Overdriving, they cannot expect to swing it with any form of stability or accuracy, or even throw the lever that makes the Supernova Hellfire switch forms.
Anima Overdrive: Due to her training with Anima Overdrive, Stellar can use Anima to make herself comparable in physical strength with all the mythological heroes that she always read about in books when she was a child, and condition her body so that she can better handle the new-found superhuman strength. Many of the properly superhuman feats that Stellar has accomplished due to her Overdrive training include, but aren't limited to, tearing holes in walls with her bare hands, picking up some ridiculously heavy automatons and chucking them to one side, and even sending some random meathead soaring several yards backwards with just a simple b**** slap. However, although Stellar was trained in using Overdrive as a source of strength, she was not trained in using Overdrive as a source of speed, and thus unlike most overdrivers, Stellar can't really dodge bullets all that well. To counteract this, Stellar gains accelerated healing from the Overdrive, and this combined with her inability to feel pain allows her tank through anything that misses vital organs such as the heart, brain or lungs.

Miscellaneous Information
Main Theme Song: My Immortal, by Evanescence

Battle Theme Song: Final Fantasy XIII OST: Blinded by Light, as remixed by Sonicwave1000
Ideal Voice Actresses: Carrie Keranen (English)/Kaori Mizuhashi (Japanese)
Tidbits of Trivia:

 • Stellar was born on the 20th of November. Incidentally, the accident that had gotten those two antennae lodged into her brain occurred on the 4th of March, almost 7½ years after she was born. Needless to say that it'd hurt a helluva lot at the time, however...
 • Because her pain receptors have never worked properly since said accident, Stellar tends to feel an odd sense of pleasure in place of pain. However, the damage that her body takes is still applied normally... which can cause problems when she gets herself roughed up for whatever reason.
 • Even though she misses having parents to this day, both of their deaths were actually a driving force for Stellar to stop herself from dropping out of Daedalus College.
 • In her spare time, Stellar can sometimes be seen drawing some designs for automatized cyborgs, or reading whatever book she can get her hands on at the time. As such the best times to interact with Stellar (outside of on her way to class that is) is either in her dormitory or the library.
Firearms have been around for quite some time. At any rate, a highly adjustable Anima-controlled composite bow would work, although I wouldn't call it an automaton.

Do you want to discuss with me her father subplot? Add me on Skype, btw.
Crystals are iffy. They're a technology I don't really want in this RP because I don't see why anyone can't just use them. Unless you mean for these crystals to be artifacts.

Do you have Skype? Also, where'd you find the image?

[spoiler: Tristan]

What does he teach? Also this thing about 3/10 people getting in is wrong.
Name: Henrietta Winifred Florentia (Though she has everyone call her Fay or Fata Morgana and rejects her name)

Age: 14

Sex: Female
18irv4.jpg

She was 143 centimeters tall and 35 kilograms last time she checked.
Henrietta is far less like the interest in the occult, magic and tarot would make one think. The entire premise of her love of these things are based on a huge, undying curiosity she finds in many things. Most of the things she does are with the intention of seeing what kind of result and process come out of it. Learning is a lot of fun for her, and she has a problem with being told that she should not question something, which is something she almost had to get used to living with her parents and as a female member of her family at that. Besides her curiosity, she has a preference toward the Magician major arcane because of what it symbolizes. In that sense, she tries to help others reach whatever potential they can. Because of the fact that she had been living an earlier life in darkness besides what was spoon fed to her, she knows that something is wrong with this social structure and that she should encourage herself and others beyond being satisfied with ignorance and more so to achieve what they could not have in the past. Because of that dislike, she doesn't tell anybody about her real name and only tells them her stage name of Fata Morgana. She also doesn't mind if people just call her Fay.

She has a major dislike of violence and taught herself to use her anima in ways that would help herself and others or enhance the believability of her illusions. If someone were to pick a fight with her, she would more likely run to somebody who would help her or try to escape them by using her illusions to confuse them.

She's pretty nice, not actually snobby at all, too. She doesn't hold things against people and would rather understand them than continue to fight them, sometimes actually being the kind who would keep following you to ask you what you meant because she genuinely wants her curiosity sated, rather than to react negatively or pick a fight. If she gets into a problem, it'll most likely be because she went somewhere she shouldn't that interested her. Because of that, she has an odd fearlessness, though is smart enough to avoid something that will probably kill her. She's not physically-inclined enough to do very demanding things, so she prefers to support and scout than fight.
Given her actual name, it comes to no surprise that she belongs to aristocracy. While that would usually cause assumptions to be made about the kind of person she is, she is actually very different from how she was taught to be. The difference roots from an early experience in her life, where she used her sheltered life to her advantage to access a library her family had. In that library, she found books that taught what others dismissed, particularly the occult and rituals associated with the occult. The idea of such a dark, spiritual side to a society that was more physically oppressive and inclined in machinery than the abstract was something that interested her enough to continue studying the topic with what was available to her as much as she could.

Among what she learned in the books of the occult was the existence of illusion and magic as things that most people considered to be meaningless trickery. Given the suppression of knowledge she and her society had always been forced into, she wanted to learn how to be a magician and illusionist, though her parents never paid mind to it as they were markedly open-minded for the time and thought it was a childish venture that she would outgrow. They took it lightly enough that they had purchased an expensive magician's wand for her without much knowledge that it had been imbued with an anima core. During secret practice reading and practicing illusion and magic, she had found that holding the wand caused a slight manipulation of steam to occur. While it originally surprised her, she had learned only recently of the use of anima as a tool for enhancing magic and was delighted to find her own ability to use anima.

With the heavy reading of occult literature she compiled in secret, she had found a strong talent in the manipulation of blood that extended to her wand's manipulation of steam. By improving her skills with blood, she could improve how well her control of steam let her make her magic that much more convincing. Her interest went enough that she went into beginning to study tarot cards and readings, though with no malicious intention behind any of what she would be learning. She loved testing her magic on other students over the years. Particularly the ones who submitted themselves to a mindless lifestyle of social pandering.

Her family had a strong disapproval that grew back years later when her curiosity had her leave the family she had been living with to travel the country as a roadside magician and illusionist. To her dismay, she was found not too long after by her understandably afraid family who had sent her to Daedalus not merely for the sake of education, but to push her into normalizion by socializing her with other normal people and, hopefully, to rid her of any occult or magic influence. Especially since they had been expecting her to focus on being a proper lady at the time, which she can totally do and has no problems with, more disliking the personality it would force her to have.
The wand her parents had purchased for her is the same exact object she uses today. In terms of appearance, it would be similar enough to a typical magician's wand, though with an anima core. The wand itself acts as an extension and amplifier of her control of anima, but through steam, rather than blood. Using her wand on an object, she can organize the steam molecules meticulously enough to cause many effects, specializing in the refraction and reflection of light, but also being able to move very light objects around with it. Being steam, she can wet or heat things up slightly, though she can't scald anybody with her current mastery of it. The manipulation of light means she can cause mirages and illusions. She can use this also to scout by using the molecules as a magnifying lens/binoculars or periscope (more to come when imagination gets to work). There are many more things that can be done and, because of the kind of skill required to use her anima to manipulate blood, as one improves, so does the other through cross-reference and general anima mastery.
Being somebody who was never physically-inclined nor very attracted to any martial arts or combat, she has nothing in terms of combat abilities beyond what is standard fare for all students to not be thrown out of the academy. Her skills are more in the use of animal for utility than combat. She has learned to use anima for the manipulation of blood cells and what they compose of as a whole outside of the body, rather than only inside. The manipulation of blood without a solid barrier in the way means she can disinfect open wounds or extract poison from a recent wound (given it hasn't travelled too far into the body yet). The removal or placing of the substance means that she would be great for covering up after a murder. Most qualities of the blood cells could be manipulated, like hardening blood to close an open wound or to cause a clog. Very versatile, given those are only some of the utilities gained with it.
She chose her stage name because of her inspiration of Morgan le Fay, though her classmates either ostracized her for her illusion skills or thought she was pretty badass (she never minded either).

As much as she hates fighting, she can use her skills very, very easily for a clean and traceless assassination. If she was asked to be used to kill somebody, she would do it by hiding diseased blood in a vial, using an invisible amount of cells to infect a drink or food without any knowledge of the victim until it was too late. She doesn't enjoy resorting to such acts, though.

Her favorite crusader is Avdol obviously. She wishes she could control fire to pretend she is Magician's Red.

Something about 9/10 students failing so it proves I read the rules

She likes comedy, too.

My re-intro into the RP scene under the famous hands of Aix~

British India love
4Gxs0y8.jpg?1

Name: Pavithra Jindal

Age: 20

Sex: Female
0q4e9oD.jpg?1

Height: 5' 6''

Weight: Not Applicable

Build: Endurance runner fit

9 out of 10 doctors are sour because they didn't make it in college.
For some the burdens of genius pressure them into shells of academia and the confines of the familiar, Pavi never had that luxury and adapted for better or for worse. Pavi had always been annoyed with the stupidity of the society around her with a few exceptions, not for their ignorance but speed of learning. She is kind to the unfortunate until they directly inconvenience her and demands a level of noblesse oblige from the fortunate or else she’ll openly despise their existence. Pavi is not familiar with her new surroundings at the college and England and will find herself confused culturally at times, but she is willing to adapt in order to best express her service to the empire even despite her jaded opinion of the average English person. She has an intense passion for the natural sciences, religion, and unknown; in juxtapose seeing academic study and humanities as self-servicing worthless information. Because of this, she does not reject the college’s premise due to its practicality as well as purpose, seeing as she feels indebted to the empire at a personal level inspiring a loyalty in her.
Pavi grew up in the British Empire occupied Kashmir valley as an orphaned child of a culture that prized male births. The only thing between her and a swift exit from this world was the charity and kind soul of a missionary nun who had established herself in the area. She was raised on a diet of Western literature and Christian morality in the improvised Indian valley; her aptitude mentally was quickly revealed to the nun who took great efforts to help Pavi thrive and feed her curiosity. Pavi naturally became Christian at the orphanage under her ‘mother’, she found the subject of God and the biblical history to be intriguing and difficult to fathom.

As she aged into childhood, the real world began to descend on her. The orphanage could only care for her up until age 7, and she left in the care of family familiar with the nun. The family accommodated her, but made it apparent she was unwelcome and a burden, so she fled most of the time into the streets. In the streets, she quickly learned of the naivety and dull-wits of the general populace and took advantage of it to keep herself fed. The nun continued to look out of her giving her conversation in English and keeping her supplied with books, that nun was the most valuable person in Pavi’s life. Eventually though, Pavi’s, aged 19, mischief caught up to her and she developed enemies who either wanted her out of their territory or assimilate her into their cronies. Pavi had no intention of doing either, but pressure stacked up and her mind was no match for the endless gang violence that she evaded, that eventually escalated into death threats. Pavi ran to her ‘mother’ for the last time, and confided in her that she was at her end here in the valley. The nun used what little influence she had to ask the British governor for assistance to help a troubled but talented youth. Moved by her compassion and seeing the opportunity to show the capital the validity and use of his territory, the man agreed to sponsor her to Daedalus College under government scholarship. Pavi was skeptical of leaving her homeland for the embellished privileged land of England, seeing them as spoiled, but she was convinced by the nun that this was the route to a better life.

Equipment: The clothes on her back, lock picking kit, and her ‘mother’s rosary.

Abilities: Pavi is incredible agile and resourceful owning to her application of her genius, and quick to find ways to escape or turn situations into her favor. She is talented in multiple languages, including English, Hindu, and Urdu. Her talents have led her to study primarily as an engineer but her potent for combat remains unseen to the college and herself.
-Pavi enjoys spicy food, taller guys, and the ocean.

-Maybe not theme music, but my inspiration music for her:

Hell with it, I've decided that I'll start on one more... even though I've yet to finish Stellar's bio. I'll just drop what I have so far here and get back to it.
Untitled21_zpstdbr9sf0.png
"So I'm still rich even after paying the tuition directly. What of it? It's not like I'm stupid enough to burn the rest of what I have."

Personal Information

Name: Julius Conray
Age: 15
Sex: Male
Status: Freshman Student
Height: 175cm (5' 9")

Weight: 70kg (154lbs)

99cdd0710dfac8f995b6542afa513fbdb9884106
Y'know the type of guy that believes he can buy his way out of anything just because he has mounds of money? Well, Julius isn't actually that kind of guy at all; he's much more thoughtful about his money than that. He also doesn't believe in the aspect of 'buying' a friend in whomever one wants to have as a friend, because what's to stop one from losing that "friend" the minute he or she declares himself or herself as no longer rich? However, if there's one thing Julius does believe involving money, it's that sometimes you have to spend a little to gain... well, any. Speaking of spending, he does try to be careful with it; often times he won't actually buy something unless he knows it's of the highest quality of its kind, and he certainly won't hand out any cash unless he can trust that he'll get it back. But he'll certainly keep tabs on who he owes money to and who owes him money. He doesn't want to make friends with anyone who'll end up being a bad customer for the business he wants to run after graduation.

Speaking of, Julius certainly likes to get himself accustomed with women. Of course, he's well aware of the coveted 90% drop rate that Daedalus College is known for, which is why he personally prefers to mingle with the seniors over the freshmen; he appreciates the extra intelligence after all, and they have more to them from a bodily standpoint as well... for the most point. As for who exactly to claim as his girlfriend, he'd rather scout out their personalities before making any commitments. Regardless, he's considerably nicer towards all females of the school; seniors, alumni, teachers and freshmen alike. However, like most nobles, Julius can actually come off as quite the ass-hole from time to time. His casual attitude towards most things may attest to such a behavior, and his knack of having just the right amount of luck has been known to get on people's nerves as well. Julius is certainly unapologetic of any and all his actions, even if they turn out to be dick moves.

In any case, Julius' main priority, which he even places above his studies (which is understandable considering all that studying that students do turns out fruitless 90% of the time anyway), is finding out who had stolen his scholarship and forced him to shell out so much money for the tuition. He was mugged for it somewhat recently so he's obviously looking for a freshman; that much he knows for sure, but he needs to do some investigation on all of them first. Julius had sworn to himself that, even if he does become one of the 90% of students that drop out of Daedalus College, that he'll take whoever stole his scholarship down with him...
Julius Conray was born into nobility, with rich and successful parents. His father was a renowned assassin who'd worked for the Holy Empire of Britannia during his military service, who had since then found a new job in managing a business that sells automaton parts, whereas his mother was an executive chef working in a popular noble restaurant. Every day, Julius' father would always purchase a newspaper just to see what was going on out in the world, before tossing that paper into a pile for later use, whether that be to wrap up something to prevent it from moving around before putting it in a package or chucked into the manor's hearth to aid in stocking a fire. One day, at the age of 10, Julius had been asked by his father for one of the many old papers, when he noticed something called a stock market being displayed on one of the pages. As this intrigued him, he began looking into it, studying the ups and downs that had been displayed, asking his father some questions, getting some answers, and studying the stock market once more; this time using more recent papers for reference. Later, Julius asked his mother for a small amount of money, so he could buy some shares as part of his experimentation with the stock market. However, it had taken several months before he believed he'd mastered it.

In a matter of minutes, Julius asked the local bank for an ambitiously large loan, with full intention of paying it back by the end of the year before interest started kicking in. However, he didn't just get enough for a full payment; throughout the year playing the stock market, Julius had garnered more than triple the amount of money required to pay off the loan... and all it took was some investment in a business that started out small but kept growing and growing and growing. Figuring that if he could get that much money from one year making plays with the stock market then he could do anything, the next step was to go straight for a scholarship for a school. Ideally, one would at least do some amount of homework before diving straight into the deep end like that, but Julius felt way too invincible for that. In the end though, he'd gotten passable grades, and was accepted into Daedalus College. Unfortunately, he was mugged on the way back home, and the scholarship that he'd earned was stolen from him, along with some money that he had on him. The stolen money wasn't so much of a big deal than it was a personal peeve to Julius... but it was enough of one to add insult to injury. Worse still, he never even got a good look at whoever it was that mugged him for the scholarship.

Now though, Julius finds himself at the school courtyard, having frustratedly relinquished more money than he would've cared to part with. He still has full intention of bringing the scholarship thief to justice when he's done. Too bad he has to deal with this "rubber bullet" test first... of all things.

Combat Information
Flintlock Rifle: There's nothing special about the weapon that Julius carries around him at times; it's just an old-school flintlock rifle. The barrel has been rifled for greater accuracy, and the bullets are shaped with aerodynamics in mind, but the sights could use improvement. That said, Julius is a good shot with it; so much so that he can easily snipe anything that happens to be a threat. The rifle also has a bayonet in case someone gets too close, but Julius is currently looking into mid-range weaponry.
Julius has no special abilities as of this moment... unless of course you count his charm with the ladies ;)

Miscellaneous Information
Main Theme Song: Fake It, by Seether
Battle Theme Song: Persona 4 OST: I'll Face Myself (Battle Theme)
Ideal Voice Actors: Scott Freeman (English)/Yuki Kaji (Japanese)
Tidbits of Trivia:
 • Although he was considering applying for a scholarship for Warschool Britannia like all the other nobles and rich cats were doing, Julius suddenly changed his mind and applied for Daedalus College instead, when he saw what in his opinion were prettier young ladies doing the same. Daedalus College's tuition fees were also significantly lesser than those of Warschool Britannia, which Julius had been thankful for since his scholarship was stolen.
 • Julius is a part of only 3% of the people that had the will and/or the funds to pay the tuition for Daedalus College directly. He is also among the only 25 persons to still maintain considerable personal wealth despite that fact. The plays he made in the stock market during his teenage years certainly helped establish this wealth.

Name: Icarus
Age: 14 - Freshman
Height: 151 cm
Weight: 34 kg

wGa3oUt.png
Obedient would probably be the first word that comes to mind upon meeting Icarus. In addition, he also has a very strong sense of what's right and what's not, based off the things he knows, which is why it'd be unlikely you'd ever catch him breaking a rule, and certainly not one explicitly stated, even with peer pressure. On the contrary, peer pressure would probably end up 'guilt-tripping' Icarus, due to his wanting to be able to please people clashing with his tendency to follow rules to a T. However, because he does not know very much, he can, and often does end up getting tricked into doing things that he was unsure or unaware would be considered 'rule-breaking'. Another thing to note is that he is very introverted, and it is rare that he'd be the one to extend his hand to a person, until he got to know them well. While Icarus is nice, it sometimes leads into issues for various reasons. Often growing anxious over little worries here and there that he might have done something to accidentally offend a person, Icarus usually shies away from large numbers of people. Easily growing self-conscious when people inevitably end up teasing him, more often than not just to watch his reactions rather than any serious malicious intent, Icarus can grow hurt however, if it ends up going too far. If this happens, it is likely he'd run off to stay somewhere by himself, such as off in the gardens somewhere, not wanting to be around people until he relaxes again.

When he puts his mind to it, Icarus can become a very studious and determined worker in just about anything. Another thing to note is that while he can get stubborn if he sets his mind on something he likes, it is more likely he'd give in if anyone tried to seriously push their own thoughts onto Icarus, due to his more inherent tendency to follow along, rather than to fight or be stubborn. It is not an uncommon sight to see him busily working away by himself to the point he becomes oblivious to things happening around him, which could range to probably even an explosion before he'd notice. Despite being extremely nervous and anxious and all frazzled up at the thought of attending such a high-level college filled with probably thousands of students, Icarus gets the feeling he could maybe find the answer to a question he's been pondering for a very long time there, perhaps. Hoping for the best, he steps into a modern world, full of new lights.

wGa3oUt.png
The true tale of Icarus starts over a thousand years ago. Back then, it was what the people of today would refer to as the "Lost Era". The time of Daedalus, the world's greatest creator, inventor. Churning out dozens of Daedalus Artifacts one after another, all with magnificent properties that seemed to be magic, everything was going excellently; a Golden Age of engineering. It was from there that he was born by the masterful craftsman hands of the one who he'd come to believe was his father. Designed to be immortal and indestructible, that pride led to the appearingly fatal downfall, his wings of hubris being burnt by the sun. Falling into the seas far below and unable to swim, he soon sunk to the bottom of a ledge, passing into a stasis-like condition as he fell into a 'slumber'. From there, he would not wake until over a thousand years later, when he washes up on the shores of Britannia with no memories of his past.

With no clues to his origin or location, Icarus ventures out into the bright new world, learning about its languages, its people, and its customs. Winding up one year later at the gates of Daedalus College with his newfound knowledge, Icarus enters, hoping to find hints to his existence and lost memories. Receiving a scholarship through some mysterious selection process, he heads forward, looking to an uncertain new future.

wGa3oUt.png
Due to being a Daedalus Artifact, Icarus himself can be considered the 'weapon'. However, because of the circumstances surrounding his existence, he is unaware of the existence of most of his powers, let alone able to access them. In addition, in his current state of existence, he is mostly a pacifist and would not prefer to use such abilities even if he knew of their existence. Because he is a Daedalus Artifact automaton meant to replicate life, even if someone observed him, without tools that can specifically detect a Daedalus Artifact's presence (which are extraordinarily rare), it'd simply seem as if Icarus was channeling Anima into his body for intents such as Overdrive if he fights unarmed. He prefers to not have to fight, but if he is forced into a corner, Icarus relies on evasion and quick movements to dodge blows while using his own reinforced fists to attempt to simply end the fight without going too far, and is unfamiliar with using any sort of weapon.
iU8EggM.png
Unlocked Power(s)
Even with the vast majority of his existing powers all locked away and inaccessible by himself, there are a few that Icarus can still use. First and foremost is Immortality, which is less of a power and more of an innate built-in aspect of Icarus himself, due to how Daedalus had shaped him. Unable to die by any means, Daedalus had intentionally built him to be this way because of the great sorrow he had felt when he lost Icarus. Not wanting to have for either of them to have to go through that pain once more, Daedalus designed Icarus to become immortal as well as indestructible. Because of this, Icarus does not need anything necessary to sustain life, including water, food, rest, and more. However, in order to keep it "natural", the desires and hungers still exist. However, if Icarus can conquer them, in a fashion somewhat similar to "mind over matter", he will not feel the pull of those wants as strongly either. Sleep is not necessary either, but because of the desire for "naturalness", Icarus still tends to "sleep" like a normal person, and his body simulates growing tired if he does not sleep, unless he manages to overcome that desire as well. As for the creation of bodily fluids such as blood and sweat, while the automaton body would replicate their creation by synthesizing the bodily fluid, such as blood or sweat, they wouldn't be "truly" his, per say. Doing a DNA test would show no match-ups, while the encoding would only match his current appearance. In addition, the Artifact wouldn't create the bodily fluids until it detects a "trigger" that would produce a fluid like that in a normal human body (such as getting cut would make it synthesize "blood", exercising would produce "sweat"). As for indestructibility, Icarus's actual automaton body lies beneath the "cover" which acts as the skin, which is created and maintained by the powers of the Artifact. While the "skin" itself is soft and naturally textured, just like an actual human's skin, the automaton parts are indestructible. Luckily, it would be impossible to discover Icarus was an automaton this way, unless someone attempted to do something such as impaling him with a sword. If that happened, while the blade would puncture the "skin", it would come to a dead stop once it hits the automaton part, before possibly shattering (depending on the sword's quality/the attack's force). This doesn't help with tanking fights in battle however, as Icarus still feels pain and all the other sensations just like a regular person. So while he may survive being stabbed, it would still hurt a great deal, as well as expose his true nature, which is why he'd take care to avoid situations such as these.

The second and only other power Icarus has at the moment is something he calls Manifestation. By channeling the raw Anima within his body into energy, he can create temporary constructs for various purposes, although nothing complicated in any way. Only small tools and the like can be formed, with one exception. Able to form large wings, like the wings of the past that had adorned the first Icarus until his fall, they shimmer in vibrant tones of blues and purples, glowing with warmth. They are able to support flight, just as wings would, although Icarus cannot maintain the wings for more than a few minutes at a time, due to the drain they create and the erosion of the energy into the atmospheres. In addition, he cannot fly very fast or high with them, or they will begin to dissolve.
”I’m not a suspicious person.Nope, nope, not at all. Definitely not suspicious.

Anyway, I'm expecting your assignment to be delivered to my office this evening.”

Personal Information

Name: Violet Eightclouds

Age: 45

Sex: Female

Date of Birth: July 3rd

Position: Engineering and Physics Teacher
08405f408895dcd9f51ced8dbc5f429a475b1c26

Standing tall at 191 centimeters, it could be said that Lady Violet is quite the statuesque stunner. Her long, wavy blonde hair stops near her waist, and her deep golden eyes could be hypnotizing to look at. She usually wears a night gown with varying designs wherever she goes, even when teaching, and the only occasions where she would wear something else is a formal appointment or practice sessions in her class. The night gown's slightly skimpy due to it being pretty loose, but since she never had a wardrobe malfunction when wearing it, she didn't view it as a problem. She often has one of her automatons to tie her hair with a red ribbon to keep it from getting too messy.
Mischievous and serious at the same time, people are never sure about whatever she was actually thinking about most of the time, as she shifted often from playing pranks on unsuspecting teachers or students and generally being irresponsible to giving sarcastic remarks as she thoroughly criticize things she didn’t see fit, among other things. All that they can be sure is that she’s a brilliant scholar, and that’s pretty much it.

Prone to making a fool of herself and others, she’s not the type of person to care about public images and such, and she’s really laid-back. Not someone that likes to shoulder responsibilities aside from the one she takes on herself as a teacher, the first thing she’ll do in that case is to shift it to someone else, preferably a student.

She’s a slacker, that much is obvious. Spends the time she didn’t use for teaching or reading by sleeping soundly in her office, and while her peers and rivals had secured their top position in society, she’s content with being stuck as merely a teacher in the academy, not that it’s a bad position to be at all. It just that she actually has a clearer free time that she could use for sleeping as an academy teacher. People often criticize this aspect of hers greatly due to how much she could’ve contributed to others and how many things she could accomplish if only she was bothered enough to do so, but the utterly lazy and unambitious woman seems to just ignore these remarks and continues her life as is. She does realize that this tendency of hers is getting a bit ridiculous and she kind of regrets how much of her potential has been wasted by slacking off like she does all the time, but all of this only makes her sink deeper and deeper into her lazydom, seeing that it’s too late to change that.

However, even if she doesn’t seem to be up for the job, Violet is very serious about her job as a teacher and a staff in the academy. Students that only knew her from her classes noted that she’s a scarily strict teacher, and her class is one of the hardest to pass due to how much pressure and demands she put on her students. Though to back this up, her method of teaching is pretty effective, if not really harsh. Her name has been pretty infamous among the academy’s student as something akin to a boogeyman of sort, something that she both resents and used to her advantage.

Her view on discipline is quite the contrast of the above, however. She believes students should be given more leeway in doing what they wanted to do, and she’s not really a fan of everyone often being really serious when it comes to upholding decency and discipline, fitting of her laid-back persona. Might be only the result of her desire to not seen as a hypocrite by others, since if she upholds discipline outside of her classroom as harshly as other teachers, it'll be completely contrasting to herself.

Might actually just be a scheming, manipulative person hiding behind a carefree, lazy persona, but it’s just the product of some conspiracy theorist’s babbling. However, it’s almost certainly a well-known open secret that there’s actually a hidden reason behind why she’s really content with staying in the academy as a teacher, something that she didn’t even bother denying. Whatever it is, however, it’s a secret only she knows.

But really, she’s definitely not a scheming, manipulative person. She just likes it when people thought that she’s one. After all, she’s too lazy to actively scheme and manipulate others directly. Or maybe this is what she wanted others to think regarding what she thinks of that speculation, which would certainly make her a scheming, manipulative person. At this point, no one can be sure, and Violet just laughs at the expense of others that think about this too deeply.
Born in the distant continent of Columbia as a part of a family of Britannian colonist there, she and her brother James decided to migrate to Britannia itself after a war broke out in that land. She was 17 at that time. Originally really diligent unlike her current self, if a bit meek, she received a scholarship to the prestigious Daedalus Academy, where she ended up shining as a model student with loads of achievements backing it up, and ended up graduating as a valedictorian there, but after that, the girl her teachers dubbed as Britannia’s next innovator disappeared without a trace.

Violet reappeared in the academy around ten years after she graduated, and to people that used to know how she was back then as a student, it was as if they’re seeing someone completely different there, even if she should be, for all intents and purposes, the Violet Eightclouds that they knew. However, when she applied to be a teacher at the academy, no one objected with it despite the initial oddity regarding her. Still, it was clear that this is barely the Violet that once was in the Academy as its proud students. Gone were the diligence and meekness that she once displayed, and what was visible now was the monumentally lazy, secretive woman that stayed there ever since.

Due to the mysteries surrounding her, she’s the subject of many speculations and theories ever since she returned, by the academy’s staff and the students, and these theories ranged from plausible to downright insane. Generally this didn’t bug her much, and in fact, she seemed to actively cultivating these rumors and theories herself to keep that part of her image. Only portrayal of hers that she actually resented was the one that pitched her as some sort of boogeyman in a woman form.

All in all, she’s a woman with her wardrobes of personal secrets, and uncovering the truth about her would be something really hard to do, not to mention pointless.
Name: Rhongomiant

Classification: Daedalus Artifact

Length: 3 meters

Description: The Daedalus artifact spear legends said originally belonging to the legendary first emperor of Britannia himself. It's unknown about how Violet could get her hands on this, not that anyone knows that the spear she displayed in her office is a Daedalus Artifact, mainly because it just looks really damn plain, compared to other similar artifacts.

As strange as this sounds, the lance actually can disintegrate into wild-running anima in the air and rematerialize anywhere the user wanted. Violet's personal theory is that the weapon is actually made of pure anima given physical form somehow, but she's too lazy to actually test this hypothesis. Another thing the spear has is its ability to return to the person it has marked as its owner if the owner wills it. As a lance it's nigh-unbreakable, and if it somehow breaks, it repairs itself automatically. It can also split itself into smaller spears after disintegrating and reintegrating. This spear might or might not able to impart its abilities to anyone holding it.

Aside of this, she also have several normal steam-powered humanoid automatons and a crapload of simpler contraptions that served her as maids and general convenience. Yes, she's that lazy. Even she has a system of automatons to bathe her every day, and to prepare food for her (and to feed her). And also a set of contraption and automatons to help her dress up and use her make-up. Probably the only thing that she didn't do with the help of her automaton is walking, teaching, and reading books (though unless she's in the College Library, she'll have her automatons pick the book for her).
For someone that spends a majority of their free time sleeping, Violet is surprisingly really fit physically, and she uses her tall physique well when it comes to combat. Pretty surprising for some people that expects her to just be a sluggish fighter. She's skilled in handling lances and staffs mainly.

Her ability to use anima is top-notch, though not -that- exceptional. She's also really analytical, and can figure out things at a fast rate on the fly. She's also considered a genius in engineering despite her laziness. After all, all her miscellaneous automatons were made by herself when she's able to be bothered to do so.

Probably the biggest weakness she had is despite her brilliance, her laziness prevents her from actually polishing a lot of her skills, letting them stagnate at the same point, and she lacks experience to actually put a lot of her skills to good use in practice aside from engineering skills. Still, it's not that she'll be fighting anytime soon.
-Has the odd tendency of appearing just behind people unexpectedly, or disappear when no one is looking.

-Likes orientally prepared noodles and dumplings very much.

-Uses Anima to make herself look younger than she is.

-Might or might not using her influence and several private sessions to have her students do her favors or act on her behalf secretively.

-Seems to be spending a lot of time in the College Main Library lately for some reasons. While she quite like reading (albeit not as much as sleeping), the amount of time she's been spending in the place is quite abnormal.

-Is actually not Violet Eightclouds. She's just a friend of hers, and the two decided to swap identities for some undisclosed reasons. The real Violet Eightclouds is now in the capital city of Camelot, serving the empire as a military advisor under a completely different name.

-Never actually graduates from the Daedalus Academy despite her being a prodigy, mainly due to her laziness. So yeah, she's one of the 90% that couldn't graduate from there.

-Is a member of the Midnight Caffeine Circle, and is one of the member allowed to its inner circle. One of the reason for the club's survival is due to her machination, more or less. However, she actually doesn't care much about the true aspiration of the club, as she has her own agenda. Is ironic that a heavy sleeper joins a coffee-loving circle, but actually coffee helps her to sleep, and she spends 75% of her time in the club's meeting with her mind in dreamland.

-Is seemingly trying to find something somewhere in the hidden reaches of the Academy.

-Not really that popular among other teachers, specifically ones that were not the one teaching Violet back when she's in Daedalus. She personally distanced herself from them a bit, but she had a personal grudge with Tristan due to him, in her words, "being a nosy neighbor that put his nose at inappropriate places that he shouldn't have gone to".
