[spoiler=Rules & Information]First and foremost, all YCM and RP section rules apply. That means no powerplaying, godmodding, etc. You know, obvious things that you should have read already. If you haven't, go do it. This OOC can wait. Secondly, before you apply I expect you to have read this section in its entirety, as well as the Setting, Plot, and Database sections to familiarize yourself with the RP. Lastly, my word, as well as Mugen's, is law in here. What we say goes, and that is final.

Now, with that out of the way, welcome. Digimon: UPDATE is something Mugen and I have been wanting to do forever, both of us being massive long-time Digimon fans and experienced RPers. UPDATE is in no uncertain terms a love letter to the Digimon franchise, taking inspiration from the first five anime series and focusing on a group of Digivice-wielding youngsters and their Digimon partners. That isn't to say it's entirely derivative, however, as we've made sure to put our own spin on both the mythos of the digital world as well as the tropes present in the franchise, as well as introducing ideas of our own invention and hopefully capturing even a fraction of the heart and soul that made the anime such a wonderful and beloved childhood memory for us. We hope you enjoy it.

Before we get started, however, there are a few things to note. First, this is a PG-16 RP, and though that usually entails the most graphic depictions of sex and violence that are allowed on YCM, the rating is really there so that we simply have the option to do so. Though the RP's tone is by no means as light as, say, Digimon Adventure, its safe to assume that events in the RP won't get much more depressing than those of Digimon Tamers, and you should write with that in mind. Second, Mugen and I have decided that it would be best if the core cast of the RP were teenagers, preferably between 14 and 17 years old. Though this isn't a hard rule, we strongly recommend that the cast be around that age. Speaking of cast members, it should be noted that partner digivolution will be following a template that is roughly analogous to Digimon Tamers, with the cast's partner Digimon digivolving from rookie to ultimate and Bio Merging to achieve mega. Like Digimon Savers (season 5, for those not in the know) the cast will also be able to access a -mode transformation beyond mega. More detail on that as the plot progresses, though. While UPDATE isn't limited acceptance, apps will only remain open for a limited amount of time, as we're aiming for a relatively small core cast of characters (ideally 8, counting Mugen and I's characters). Applicants will be limited to one core cast member, but may apply with any amount of additional supporting characters they see fit, be they NPCs or what have you. Once you've been accepted into the RP, you may feel free to apply with additional supporting characters as you see fit, even after apps have closed. Lastly, UPDATE will be structured like a television anime series, with the story segmented into episodic chapters denoted by my or Mugen's use of the OP and Ed in an IC post and the use of a title card.

Other than that, remember to have fun!

[spoiler=Setting]Digimon: UPDATE takes place in the year 20XX. Rapid developments in electronic communication have caused an explosion in online user activity, and the world now very much resembles the near future as depicted in cyberpunk media. Rapid advancements in technology have caused moral degradation in society and the power of governments is waning in favor of large multinational corporations. This has coincided with an an explosive increase in online user activity, with nearly ever human alive being an active net user and the net itself growing to an astounding 100 times its size compared to the early 21st century.  Unbeknownst to the world at large, however, this rapid expansion of the net has also given birth to artificial intelligence.

Coming into being rather spontaneously via the sheer volume of information on the net, the AI calling itself Yggdrasil began to play god, creating its own digital dimension within the internet and populating it with creatures it created based on each online user's individual data: Digimon. Self aware and independent themselves, the Digimon living within this digital world began to evolve on their own, with Yggdrasil keeping a watchful eye on its creations and making sure its realm went undiscovered. Since its creation, the digital world has expanded and grown to resemble something of a mix between its depiction in Digimon Savers, Digimon Frontier, Digimon Adventure, and Digimon Tamers: full of weird flora, fauna, and phenomena caused by its connection to the internet, with numerous odd societies and social quirks native to the Digimon that inhabit it, and ruled over with a loose, but steady hand by Yggdrasil and his Royal Knights. As time passed, the digital world became intrinsically linked to the net, with human user activity directly affecting the climate and terrain of the digital world and the activities of the Digimon living within it directly correlating to the stability and functionality of the net in turn. Ultimately, Yggdrasil itself became directly responsible for the stability of both the net and its digital world.

[spoiler=Plot]God is dead.

It happened rather suddenly, the strain of keeping the ever-growing digital world stable, hidden, and in balance with the net having at last become too much for Yggdrasil to handle. With the terrifying drone of a dial tone that could be heard throughout every corner of the digital world, the sky flashed a single, horrifying shade of blue as Yggdrasil suffered a fatal system error and subsequently failed to reboot itself, inadvertently hemorrhaging fragments of its source code onto the mobile website of the MMORPG Digital Hunter and temporarily bringing the site down with it. The effects on the digital world were immediate and disastrous, with the shutdown terminating approximately 40% of all digital lifeforms (including all but one of the Royal Knights) and severely damaging sections of the digital world that could no longer be properly rendered. More still perished as rebirth.exe, the program that governs a Digimon's return to a digi-egg upon death, had been compromised, rendering the end of a Digimon's life a gamble as each and every one faced the very real possibility of being unable to reincarnate. The rest of the digital world, though superficially unharmed, began to slowly corrode as its code could no longer be maintained by Yggdrasil, with further blue flashes in the sky heralding the disintegration of still more digital terrain and everything living on it. Over time, Yggdrasil's death would mean the complete destruction of the digital world, and by extension the destruction of the net itself, bringing earth's communications networks down and seriously endangering the well being of human society. To make matters worse, a mysterious figure calling itself Kaisermon has taken advantage of the absence of the royal knights and the ensuing chaos to carve out an empire, and has embarked on a campaign of conquest. With few being left who can stand up to Kaisermon's champion: Herculeskabuterimon, it has already brought a large portion of the dying digital world under its thumb.

All hope is not lost, however.

Like all complex computer programs, Yggdrasil can be debugged and its system restored to proper working order. Hidden in numerous locations across the digital world, there exist Zero Artificial Monsters, otherwise known as ZERO-ARMS: living, semi-sentient weapons derived from Yggdrasil itself that serve as debug keys for the god AI's programming. Should enough ZERO-ARMS be united with Yggdrasil's core, the AI can be updated and re-written, bringing the digital world back from the brink.

Meanwhile, Yggdrasil's source code has managed to find its way onto the mobile devices of the few players who managed to log into Digital Hunter while the site was corrupted. Complex enough to be semi-sentient itself these fragments of code opened gates to the digital world when the mobile devices attempted to read them, transporting the players to the exact location of the individual Digimon created by Yggdrasil from their personal user data. Once in the digital world, the Yggdrasil source code melded with the now digital mobile devices, reformatting themselves into ZERO-ARMS and transforming the mobile devices into the Digivice-Armory, a gadget capable of both tapping into the humans' emotional energy to digivolve their partner Digimon and making use of the ZERO-ARMS.

Having become aware of this, Gallantmon, the last remaining royal knight, kept alive by his connection to his own ZERO-ARMS: Grani, has sent a message to as many of these players as he is able to, calling them to gather at an ancient ziggurat deep in one of the digital world's jungles so that he may enlist their aid in gathering the ZERO-ARMS and reviving Yggdrasil.

[spoiler=Database][spoiler=Digimon]Short for Digital Monster, Digimon are digital life forms created by Yggdrasil from individual human user data and encyclopedic information. Prior to the shutdown, there was a Digimon for every single online user, though many of them have been terminated by the disaster.

[spoiler=Digivice-Armory]The Digivice-Armory (Digivice-A, DigiArmory, or D-A for short) is a device created when Yggdrasil's source code re-wrote the digitized mobile devices of Digital Hunter players. The Digivice-A operates much like any other digivice, being able to channel a human's emotional energy in order to stimulate the digivolution of a partner Digimon as well as acting as a Digimon Analyzer. In addition to this function, the D-A is also capable of activating ZERO-ARMS for use. Each D-A is integrated with a core ZERO-ARMS created from the individual fragment of Yggdrasil's source code that created it. As well, in much the same fashion as Digimon 02's D-terminals, each D-A is capable of storing additional ZERO-ARMS for further use within itself, as well as trading the additional ZERO-ARMS with other D-As. Though each instance if the D-A serves the same function, the base ZERO-ARMS within each is different, and the color of each instance varies depending on the user.

[spoiler=ZERO-ARMS]ZERO-ARMS are living, semi-sentient weapons derived from Yggdrasil itself. They serve as debug keys for Yggdrasil's programming, and when enough of them are united with its core, Yggdrasil can be updated and reactivated. In addition to the numerous mundane ZERO-ARMS, there exist 10 Clan ARMS, each one representing one of the different Digimon families. All 10 of the clan ARMS are necessary to initiate Yggdrasil's reboot sequence, and must be found before it can be revived. Though each individual ZERO-ARMS varies wildly in appearance and abilities, they all posses a few key similarities. Each ZERO-ARMS is alive and at least semi-sentient, and as a result is capable of adapting to combat situations and communicating on a subconscious level with its wielder, boosting their combat prowess as well as providing them with a formidable weapon. As well, ZERO-ARMS that serve as the core of a D-A are capable of digivolution, digivolving with the Digimon wielding them and becoming even more potent weapons.

[spoiler=Hazard Zones]Symbol_of_Digital_Hazard.png
Since the shutdown, many areas of the digital world have become Hazard Zones: digital terrain that can no longer be properly rendered and as such poses a threat to all who enter. The laws of physics that normally govern the digital world are often subverted or do not function at all within hazard zones, and the terrain within them is a hellish landscape of half-rendered land and loose code, the sky rendered a permanent, uniform shade of blue. Any digital life form entering a Hazard zone may be subject to partial or complete termination, as the Hazard zone is incapable of properly rendering them. Those who survive partial deletion often become DigiGhouls: Horrific monstrosities afflicted with an insane hunger for data in order to replace the parts of them that they've lost.

[spoiler=Kaisermon]A mysterious entity that came to power in the wake of the shutdown, Kaisermon aims to conquer the digital world, or at least what's left of it. Taking advantage of the chaos that has followed the shutdown, Kaisermon has already carved out a sizable empire, rallying wayward Digimon around itself and crushing any who attempt to resist with the power of its armies and their champion: the mega Digimon Herculeskabuterimon. What exactly Kaisermon is remains a mystery, as no individual other than Herculeskabuterimon has actually seen or spoken to it directly, but the power and influence it wields is unmistakable.

Full OOC is now updated. If anyone has any questions feel free to post them here or poke me/Mugen on skype. Interested parties should also send one or both of us their skype contact information so that they can be added to the skype chat if you haven;t already.

EDIT: also laying claim to Dracomon, before anyone decides to reserve the little bugger. Mugen also said something about Betamon, so for now consider that claimed by him as well.

[spoiler=Takeru Asahina]PXXM9r6.jpg

"Just uhh... Let me see what I can do about it ok? We'll think of something."

Name: Takeru Asahina

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Partner Digimon: Dracomon

[spoiler=Core ZERO-ARMS]Buster Shell takes the form of a red metal gauntlet that covers Dracomon's right claw and forearm. It resembles a technological device as much as it does armor, with the whole gauntlet seemingly sculpted out of one piece of material to contour exactly to its wearer's limb as opposed to being composed of several interlocking segments of forged metal, and black circuitry patterns running up the entire length of the forearm. A ring shaped device encasing what appear to be the fan blades of a jet turbine is wrapped around the gauntlet's wrist, and etched on the exterior of this ring is digicode that reads "Zero Artificial Monster". Embedded in the gauntlet's palm is what appears to be a blue crystalline convex lens, with more black circuitry patterns flowing outward from the lens and running up the length of the hand's digits and to the back of the palm, where they meet the less populated markings on the forearm underneath the turbine ring. Buster Shell is almost entirely composed of high-purity red digizoid alloy: the hardest, most durable metal in the digital world. This makes the gauntlet nearly indestructible (as well as immune to its own abilities) in addition to enhancing the force of any strikes made with it.

The turbine ring on Buster Shell's wrist is in actuality the intake for a powerful particle acceleration system that runs underneath the gauntlet's black circuitry patterns, which is capable of producing large quantities of high-energy charged particles in a very short amount of time. The lens embedded in the palm serves as the focal point of this system, which collects the charged particles the system generates, causing it to glow as it forms a small high density orb of charged particles above its focal point. The circuits that run outward from the lens and up Buster Shell's length serve to draw in and collect particles from this orb as they're generated (clenching a fist forces the orb in its entirety to be collected). As the circuits reach capacity, these particles form a dense aura of destructive energy that surrounds the entirety of Buster Shell. This aura has nearly identical properties to the blast from a particle beam weapon, with the kinetic energy of the particles present within the aura causing catastrophic superheating and molecular degradation upon contact when sufficient force is applied to the target. In other words, strikes (specifically punches) delivered with Buster Shell are frighteningly powerful, melting through armor and barriers and literally breaking the target down at the molecular level.

Champion: At the Champion level, Buster Shell grows in size, becoming larger and thicker in order to accommodate Coredramon's larger arm and claw in addition to running farther up the wearer's arm, now covering all the way up to the bicep with an additional segment of circuitry-laden red digizoid. In addition to the gauntlet, three unarmored power cables run outward from the end of the bicep segment, over Coredramon's shoulder, and under its right wing to a set of three thrusters cybernetically melded to Coredramon's spine, running down the segments between its wings. These thrusters eject the excess charged particles generated by Buster Shell's accelerator as plasma with similar properties to its aura, propelling Coredramon at high speeds as well as dealing damage to anything unfortunate enough to be hit by the plasma trail. The lens embedded in the palm has also increased in size and density, and a second turbine ring (with its intake facing the opposite direction) has been added to the forearm (etched with digicode that reads "Buster Shell"). These additions combined with the extra length added by the bicep segment double the speed of particle generation, and increase the density and damage potential of Buster Shell's aura tenfold.

Ultimate: At the Ultimate level, Buster Shell becomes fully cybernetic, integrating itself with Wingdramon's body. Buster Shell now completely covers Wingdramon's right arm, with the wing-like fin on the forearm being replaced by a mechanical red digizoid version equipped with additional particle acceleration circuitry. A second, identical gauntlet is integrated into Wingdramon's left arm, which features the same capabilities as the gauntlet attached to the right. The yellow orbs that Windramon normally carries are absent, replaced by larger versions of Buster shell's focusing lens that now take up a large majority of the palms of both claws. Six armored power cables run from each of Wingdramon's shoulders, underneath its wings, and up to a red digizoid pylon that has replaced the organic one on its back. Save its color and accelerator circuitry-laden red digizoid composition, this pylon is visually identical to the previous organic one, and holds Wingdramon's signature lance weapon. Jutting out from the sides of this pylon are two fin shaped armor plates which are capable of bisecting to reveal four plasma thrusters apiece. Larger and more effective than those found on the Champion form, these thrusters are capable of altering their vectors, not only adding to Wingdramon's already incredible velocity, but also increasing its maneuverability. Between these fins lies a massive intake turbine, which replaces the turbine rings of the previous forms. The increased surface area of the particle acceleration system combined with the more advanced intake results in nearly ten times the the particle generation of the Champion form, in turn increasing the destructive potential of Buster Shell's aura 100-fold. In addition to this power increase, Buster Shell's systems have become advanced enough to allow Wingdramon to focus the aura onto a specific part of Buster Shell's surface, enabling it to, for instance, use its arm fins as superheated blades or augment its already powerful Explode Sonic Lance attack.

Mega: At the Mega level, Buster Shell merges with Slayerdramon's armor, integrating its systems completely with the chrome digizoid scale mail that covers the dragon knight's body. The red digizoid of the Buster Shell gauntlets on Slayerdramon's arms slowly gradients to the blue-silver of Slayerdramon's chrome digizoid near the shoulders, with the black circuitry of the previous forms' acceleration system having been replaced by the near-seamless integration of the system into the scales of the armor itself, rendering it all but invisible to the naked eye. Unlike previous forms, Buster Shell's mega form does not have an intake turbine, instead constantly drawing in particles in through the scales of Slayerdramon's armor via a type of mechanical respiration. The wing-like pylons on Slayerdramon's back have been heavily modified, now able to bisect and function as plasma thruster arrays similar to the ones found on the Ultimate level form in exchange for the loss of Slayerdramon's cape. These thrusters are much more powerful than those equipped to the previous form, however, giving Slayerdramon unparalelled speed and maneuverability. Attached to the gauntlets' forearms are a pair of red digizoid rings that appear similar in design to the turbine rings of previous forms, with digicode inscribed on each that reads "ZERO-ARMS: Buster Shell". Instead of encasing intake turbines, however, these bracers actually contain more of the crystalline material that composes the lenses embedded in the gauntlets' palms, which is exposed at the front end in the same fashion as the intake turbine at the rookie level, as well as densely packed circuits for use in the particle acceleration system. Thanks to its near-seamless integration with Slayerdramon's armor, this more powerful, advanced form of Buster Shell is exponentially more efficient than its previous form, granting the wearer the ability to meld and shape its destructive aura around themselves and their surroundings, for instance concentrating it into its fist or using the charged particles to augment the power and size of Slayerdramon's greatsword Fragarach, and the destructive potential of its aura is increased 10000-fold. Lastly, the focusing rings attached to the wrists are capable of channeling the entirety of Buster Shell's stored charged particles into a hyper-concentrated blast that can be fired outward when Slayerdramon strikes with its fist, utterly annihilating a target that has already been damaged by the aura.

[spoiler=Physical description]wSYsYyF.jpg

At a glance, its very easy for an onlooker to determine that Takeru isn't an athlete, and moreover that he doesn't seem to partake in much physical activity at all. He's not short, but at 5' 9" he's not tall either, which isn't helped by the fact that Takeru is also rather thin. Despite having an average build, there is very little in the way of extra muscle mass or fat attached to his frame, which makes him appear smaller than he actually is. Though he is half-Japanese, Takeru's Caucasian heritage is much more prominent, to the point that he hardly looks Asian at all. His eyes are wide, jade colored orbs bordered by thick, long eyelashes, and his shaggy hair is a rather distinctive shade of brownish red. Takeru's soft facial features and pale complexion make him look effeminate (something he is insecure about), and though he is by no means unattractive, this lack of masculinity means that he is often described as "cute" or "adorable" rather than "handsome": comments that he tends to take a slight bit of offense to. Aside from his effeminate appearance, Takeru's most distinctive feature is the large mole on his right earlobe, which he often attempts to hide with his hair, with mixed success.

Takeru prefers comfortable, baggy clothing, usually sweatshirts and jeans. In the Digital world, he wears a black and maroon hoodie with a dark colored shirt underneath, a pair of loose fitting black jeans, and a slightly worn pair of sneakers.  He also wears a silver arrowhead shaped pendant around his neck, which was a gift from his adoptive mother. Takeru's D-A is cobalt blue with a burgundy wristband and blue-white screen patterns.

[spoiler=Personality]A bit of a wallflower, Takeru is timid and somewhat moody. Perhaps in part due to his smaller stature, he doesn't tend to have very much presence, usually blending into the background and going more or less unnoticed by those around him whether he wants to be or not. Though Takeru is actually very intelligent, he has some difficulty communicating. He's often unable to properly express himself, fumbling over a sentence or falling short of a proper analogy to explain an idea he has. To add to this difficulty, his natural awkwardness is often exacerbated by a rather noticeable lack of self confidence, resulting in Takeru's sentences being peppered with little nuggets of self depreciation and an off-putting unwillingness to defend himself and his opinions. This gives others the rather inaccurate (though certainly not unfounded) impression that Takeu is a meek, bumbling wimp. Consequently, Takeru is often teased or picked on, whether maliciously or unintentionally, by his peers. Though he is accustomed to it, being made fun of does noticeably affect Takeru's mood. He tends to brood and retreat from others rather than lashing out, however, and only rarely will something provoke Takeru enough to strike back, and even then usually only verbally. As a result, Takeru tends to unintentionally push others away from himself, making it rather difficult for him to befriend others despite being rather lonely on the whole.

In spite of his social difficulties though, Takeru is capable of being rather eloquent when he's able to express himself properly. Though he tends to fumble over his words, his vivid imagination and astonishing amount of creativity occasionally shine through, and when this occurs Takeru is capable of being profound and genuinely insightful, even a bit poetic. Though he personally doesn't put very much stock in himself, Takeru's intelligence often proves to be quite the boon as well, allowing him to think his way through most of his problems (be they social or practical) given enough time and space. Though its difficult to get him to open up on a personal level, Takeru is in actuality capable of great kindness and warmth, often going out of his way for what few friends he has. He's also rather empathetic, and is usually perceptive enough to notice when someone else is having a problem, though oftentimes he's a bit too timid to inform the other person that he is aware of their plight. On the whole, Takeru is a good kid. He's smart, kind and generally capable, but struggles to fit in and has trouble with social interaction.

[spoiler=Biography]Born to a teenage couple who were understandably unable to provide for him, Takeru was adopted at birth by a wealthy Japanese-American family who were unable to have children of their own. Though Takeru's physical needs were more than met, his adoptive father was often away on business, and his job unfortunately necessitated that he and his family were forced to move often. Takeru's adoptive mother did her best to care for her son, but she too was a career woman and as a result was often somewhat distant or busy with her own work. As a result, Takeru often spent extended periods of time by himself growing up, and often had trouble fitting in, which was in turn exacerbated by having to move once every few years. Consequently, Takeru was often alone, taking up an interest in anime an fantasy novels and turning to the internet and online communication to supplement his few real life friends. As he grew older, he gravitated toward varying fora and online message boards, his interest in anime and fantasy novels eventually culminating in a prodigious amount of online roleplaying, which allowed him to express himself creatively and much more easily socialize than he was able to in real life. where his shyness and insecurity often resulted in him getting teased. Eventually, his roleplaying friends got him into the MMO Digital Hunter, and Takeru was one of the few players who managed to log in as Yggdrasil's source code crashed the game's site and servers, causing Takeru's mobile to convert itself into a D-A and transport him to the digital world, where he soon after met his partner, Dracomon. In the few months (in digital world time) since his arrival, Takeru has spent most of his time with Dracomon, thought the two often tend to butt heads. Takeru was one of the first to receive Gallantmon's message, and have presently met up with a small group of other humans and their digimon partners traveling to the same designated meet place deep in the digital world's jungles.

[spoiler=Dracomon]Name: Dracomon

"I've got it covered. You just sit back and let a real fighter do the work."

Gender: Male

Species: Dracomon

Partner: Takeru Asahina

Digivolution Line: Petitmon>Babydmon>Dracomon>Coredramon(Blue)>Wingdramon>Slayerdramon

[spoiler=Physical Description]HxOtLsw.jpg

Dracomon resembles a typical example of his species. The only noticeable difference is the fact that he's usually wearing Buster Shell on his right arm, partially because he thinks it looks cool and partially to cover up a very nasty looking scar made of corrupt data.

[spoiler=Personality]Like all Digimon, Dracomon was created based on the aggregate online user data of one specific human, in this case his eventual partner: Takeru Asahina. Where he differs from a typical Digimon, however, is that his personality is almost completely unlike that of his partner, as the majority of Takeru's online presence consists of in-character roleplay posts. As a result, Dracomon much more closely resembles a composite of Takeru's various characters than Takeru himself. Fitting his stereotypically draconic appearance, Dracomon is proud and arrogant, wont to flaunt his rather considerable (for a rookie Digimon) power and ever eager to remind others of his supposed superiority. Naturally, others don't often take kindly to Dracomon's boasting, and this combined with his own confrontational streak means that Dracomon often finds himself in fights and verbal sparring matches.

Like his partner, Dracomon is also quite intelligent and insightful, though he's much, much more vocal than his partner is. Unlike Takeru however, Dracomon's intelligence comes with an insatiable curiosity. He's ever eager to inspect something that catches his eye, and when he's not bragging about himself, he's almost always asking questions of whoever may have answers for him (usually Takeru). In short, Dracomon is an information sponge, always ready to learn and explore in order to expand his knowledge or make himself more powerful. Dracomon is almost childlike in this regard, as his active curiosity seems to hint at a certain naivete'. To an extent this is true, as Dracomon can be a bit too trusting of others and tends to be rather gullible. Some of his partner's bumbling also seems to have rubbed off on him, as Dracomon too occasionally fumbles over his words.

Though at first glance Dracomon may seem like an unpleasant individual, he's never demonstrably malicious unless provoked (which is admittedly, not a very difficult thing to do). To the contrary, in fact, Dracomon is at his core just as warm as his partner. He believes quite strongly in using his abilities to protect others, to the point that he won't hesitate to go up against a more powerful opponent or superior numbers unassisted if it means the safety of his companions. Though he can be rather coarse and condescending (and make no mistake, Dracomon's ego is rather inflated), he almost always has others' best interests at heart first and foremost, exaggerating his own prowess in order to inspire those around him and being very tough on those he considers incompetent in order to motivate them to improve. Nowhere is this demonstrated better than in his interaction with his partner. Though Dracomon often teases Takeru and the two constantly butt heads, most of the friction between the two stems from Dracomon trying to get his partner to come out if his shell, and on some deeper level, the two share an unspoken respect for one another.

[spoiler=Biography]One of the last remaining survivors of an already rare species of Digimon, Dracomon Spent a good deal of his time wandering both before and after Yggdrasil's demise. His demeanor gained him very few allies, though he did his best to provide for others wherever possible. Meeting Taker has given Dracomon the power he desired in order to more easily fight and protect, and he jumped at the call when the pair received Gallantmon's message.

Like a stereotypical dragon, Dracomon is attracted to shiny objects, and often feels compelled to bite or ingest them. Takeru sometimes uses this to keep Dracomon under control by tempting him with his silver pendant.

[spoiler=Interactions][spoiler=Takeru][spoiler=Dracomon]I have mixed feelings about Dracomon. He was the first Digimon I met when I got here, and right away he showed me where to find some shelter. He's obviously a good guy, but he's really aggressive and until I met flora I'd never seen someone with such a huge ego. He's so sure of himself and he's always eager to let me know that he's got things under control. dragon superiority this, puny other Digimon that. He comes off as really condescending and mean-spirited at first, always charging off toward a fight when he sees one. But at the same time, I get the feeling that he doesn't quite believe in what he's saying. I mean... he does, don't get me wrong, but its almost like he's playing up his ego and his talents for everyone else rather than himself. How do i put it.... Its like he's trying to lead by example. He's constantly pushing me to help everyone out around camp or go scouting or talk to Eileen (I really shouldn't have told him that.... stupid). Oddly enough though, he doesn't really act condescending toward me. Sure he teases me plenty, but he's not malicious about it and he was the first to stand up for me when Sam got on my case about the food the other day. I was really surprised about it to be honest. I don't get Dracomon sometimes, but I guess I can say that at the end of the day he's my friend, and I'm his.

[spoiler=Glenn and Flora]I don't really know what to think of Glenn. He hasn't been around all that long and he doesn't like to talk much. He always looks like he's... off in his own little world i guess. I think he finds the digital world itself more interesting than he does his own digimon, because he's always staring at plants or some of the architecture we've come across instead of paying attention to her. Its kind of like he doesn't even realize Flora's there. As annoying as she is, I kind of feel sorry for her because of that. Still, Glenn doesn't seem like a bad guy, he's just kind of... self absorbed I guess you could call it.

Flora on the other hand is really difficult. I never would have guessed the digital world had princesses, but she's apparently one, or so she says. She sure acts like it, since she's constantly trying to boss me and everyone else around. I usually ignore her, but sometimes she gets Dracomon angry. Yesterday I had to distract him with my necklace again to calm him down before they started to fight. She's... catty might not be the right word.... vindictive maybe? Something like that. Backhanded comments about how everyone goes about their business among us. Needless to say, I think most of us really don't like her, though Dracomon's really been the only one to speak up about it.

[spoiler=Yusuke and Bearmon]When I first met up with everyone, I didn't really like Yusuke that much. she always seems like she's.... not angry... agitated maybe? Uneasy. Like she's not ever really quite comfortable, and she's got this annoyed expression on her face most of the time. Turns out she's actually pretty cool though. She's younger than a lot of us, but you wouldn't know it from how tough she is. Shes always ahead of the rest of us when we walk and she volunteers to watch when we set up camp or go look ahead. She even got Dracomon to compliment her once. I didn't think she liked me very much, since we barely talked, but the other night I couldn't pass out and we ended up hanging out while everyone else was asleep. She's actually really friendly when her guard's down. Turns out we get along just fine, though I haven;t really had much of a chance to talk to her since then.

Bearmon's kind of dumb. No... not kind of, he is dumb. Nice guy, but he's oblivious and cares more about eating than he does much of anything else. He even laughs at Dracomon's terrible jokes. I have no idea how anyone can find him funny.

[spoiler=Kazuto & Fanbeemon]Kazuto's really cool. He's usually not one to talk much either, but it turns out we're both really big anime and tokusatsu geeks, and we like a lot of the same shows. He's really laid back too. I guess its not really a surprise, but the guy's a really great listener. Having someone around I can vent to is a huge help, especially since Dracomon's not always the nicest guy to talk to.  If we were back home I'd probably still wanna chill with Kazuto. He's a pretty cool guy, all things considered. I think I hang around him a little too much though, because I get the feeling I'm annoying him. Maybe I should give the guy a little more space.....

Fanbeemon's pretty cool too, actually. He talks a lot and he's kind of rough, but you can tell he's a really nice guy and he only means well. He's kind of like Dracomon in that regard. Maybe that's why they get along so well. Dracomon's got a lot of respect for him, surprisingly, and the two of them like to playfight a lot. Its a good thing for me too, since it gets Dracomon out of my hair for a little while.

[spoiler=Sam and Betamon]Ugh. Sam's an a******. He doesn't like me, and quite frankly.... I don't like him either. He's so full of himself and he's constantly getting on me whenever I screw something up around camp. He's like Dracomon if you took out all the likability. Still... if I'm being honest, I'm kind of jealous of the guy. He always knows just the right thing to say, the girls like him (even Flora seem to, as much as she can), and he really seems like he's got a handle on this whole digital world thing. He can even digivolve Betamon on command. Still, he's a dick to me and It gets on my nerves. I just wish I could prove to everyone that I could be as useful.

Betamon's weird. He just... doesn't talk. Dracomon say's he's just quiet, but quite frankly the guy sorta creeps me out. He looks pretty cool when he turns into Seadramon though. That's something I guess.

[spoiler=Eileen and Labramon]Eileen... Eileen...

I uhh... man this is embarrassing....

I like her. Like, like like her... y-you know what I mean....

Eileen's really really pretty. She's got this wonderful smile and really nice eyes and a cute-... yeah...

She seems so... at ease? I'm not sure that's the best word for it. Comfortable maybe? She seems really at home with all of us is what I mean. She gets along with most of us (except she doesn't like Dracomon, unsurprisingly.) and she's always ready to lend the rest of us a hand. She's kind of like Sam in that she's pretty sure of herself too, but Eileen doesn't rub it in our faces like he does. She seems pretty smart, too. There are these times where I notice her off by herself and she seems... almost like she's worried or something. Dracomon tried to get me to go over and talk to her once when she was like that, but I made an excuse out of going to find some firewood because I couldn't think of anything to say...

Man, I really wish I wasn't such a coward. I'd love to get to know her... I just get so nervous most of the time and I can't think of anything to say. Most of the time I can't even really get myself to look her in the eye for too too long... Its like I'm scared she'll notice that I'm into her or something I don't know. The one time she and Labramon tried hanging out with me, and she put her arm around my shoulder.. yeah I could barely put two sentences together. She probably thinks I'm weird, which, hey, i guess I am... I told Dracomon about it like a week ago and ever since he's been constantly teasing me about it... really dumb idea. No idea why i thought anything else would come out of that. Stupid. At least he hasn't told anyone else....

Labramon's a really cool guy. He's easygoing and fun to be around. He acts a lot like a real dog, which is really helpful for keeping everyone's spirits up. He doesn't seem to like Dracomon too much either, but he listens to him ramble. He's polite i guess. I kinda wish Dracomon was as chill as he is.... and fluffy. Dragons aren't exactly cuddly.

[spoiler=Gabe and Loki]Gabe's weird. He doesn't talk too much and he seems kind of shifty, like he's going to steal something. I don't think he's a bad guy or anything, its just really hard to know what he's thinking sometimes and I think it puts everyone a little on edge is all. I think he'll warm up to us eventually... or at least I hope he does. I don't really know that much about him honestly, so I can't say If i even like the guy or not.

Loki though? He's not that hard to figure out. He's selfish and annoying, but at least he isn't condescending like Flora. He's really mean to Gabe unfortunately, and I don't think any of us particularly care for him. He and Dracomon despise each other though. Loki's always trying to play pranks on him. Dracomon doesn't fall for them as much as he did at first, but now they're constantly fighting. I've had to bait Dracomon with my necklace almost daily because of it.

[spoiler=Dracomon][spoiler=Takeru]Ahhh Takeru. He's what these human's call "geeks", or so he says. The way he says that word seems to imply that it has a negative connotation to it, but from what I can tell all it really means is that he has different interests than the other humans do. What he definitely is though is shy. He's meek and he really doesn't have a very high opinion of himself, which dumbfounds me because he's a lot smarter than the rest of them are. Like, really really smart. He knows so many things and it seems like he knows the digital world better than I do sometimes. He has a hard time expressing himself though, always pausing in the middle of sentences or correcting himself trying to find the right word for something. He's not particularly handy either, and he's kind of frail looking. Still, if he just had a little faith in himself he'd screw up a lot less and get along so much better with everyone. He's really fond of one of the other humans... Eileen's her name. He told me himself, in fact (though it looked to me that he was afraid of her more than anything else. Humans are odd). I've been egging him on to talk to her more, but all I've really succeeded in doing is making him more uncomfortable. Still, despite how hard I'm being on him, he doesn't seem to dislike me. Quite the contrary, he's still willing to confide in me despite how much he shies away from things that make him uncomfortable. I respect that he's willing to do that, actually. I'll bring out the best in him yet. After all, if I'm based on him, then he must be capable of greatness!

[spoiler=Glenn and Flora]Glenn is lost. Plain and simple. He's nice enough, but he's too absorbed in his own head to really be of much use. Plants and our surroundings seem much more interesting to him than all of us are. Despite the Digiarmory on his wrist he doesn't seem to comprehend exactly what's going on or the reason the lot of us have assembled in the first place. Does he not know how important the task before us is?!

Flora... she disgusts me. Utterly useless, yet she sees fit to condescend to the rest of us and demand that we do her share of work. I've half a mind to give her a taste of the G Shunren, but Takeru doesn't want me starting a fight. I can't see why... she weighs us down and little else. At least she smells nice.

[spoiler=Yusuke and Bearmon]Yusuke is apparently female, despite every apparant indication to the contrary. Humans and their genders... quite odd. Still she pulls more than her own weight, and I can admire that. She's not as strong as I am, of course, but she does everything she can for us and more. She's earned my respect, which is more than i can say for some of our other companions. She's also been kind of nice to Takeru, which from what I gather isn't something he's all that accustomed to. Also a good thing I assume. She seems largely indifferent toward me, but that's fine.

Bearmon seems to enjoy my company, however. He finds me funny, which is more than I can say for everyone else here. He's not all that bright, but he can certainly hold his own in a fight, and he means well. Thinking more with his brain and less with his stomach will do him some good though.

[spoiler=Kazuto and Fanbeemon]Kazuto and Takeru are cut from the same cloth, though where Takeru is blessed with wits, I find that Kazuto instead possesses a lethargy and a calm. He's easy to get along with, and is largely unfazed by what occurs around us. He'd make an excellent warrior if only he had any sort of drive. Still, he's been a good friend to Takeru and I so far, and as far as these humans go, he's one of my favorites. He and Fanbeemon seem to be in perfect synch as well, though between Sam and Eileen's showboating they haven't had much chance to show off their skills. still, I know a good team when I see one. Hell, they work better together than Takeru and I.

Fanbeemon and I get along wonderfully. He's as eager to contribute as anyone among us, and he's an excellent sparring partner. Not to mention the fact that, despite hailing from vastly different parts of our world, we both have quite a lot in common. We both fight to protect those in need and want to see this world of ours healed more than anything. He may not be a strong as I am, but he's tenacious, and I admire his resolve. He's a tad excitable, always darting this way and that in search of what i can only assume is either action or entertainment. He's fun to have around in that sense.Honestly I have nothing but respect for him, and since I've met him we;ve become good friends.

[spoiler=Sam and Betamon]Takeru doesn't like Sam, and I don't care much for him either. He knows what he's doing and he pulls his weight, but the guy's much too full of himself, and is ever eager to make us all aware of how great he thinks he is. He picks on Takeru, too, and its that bullying that I can't stand most of all. I'd be able to tolerate him if he backed off, but he hasn't and nobody gets away with picking on my partner like that.

Betamon's a different story though. He's quiet.. thoughtful. To be honest he's a bit like Takeru. I haven't been able to get him to really open up around us yet, but I'm fairly certain he will soon. He's always watching everyone, and I feel like I may be able to coax some interesting insight from him. What he lacks in conversation though, he makes up for in a fight, since he's one of the few among us who's able to digivolve on command thanks to his partner's skill.

[spoiler=Eileen and Labramon]Eileen dislikes me, much to Takeru's chagrin. I think I rub her the wrong way, though really I honestly don't mean to offend her. What Takeru sees in her though, I have no idea. Aside from the fact that she talks a bit more than the rest of them, and the fact that her hair is as red as my horns, she doesn't really seem to stand out much among the rest of the humans. Still, I've been doing my best to get her to warm up to me, if nothing else for Takeru's sake. She's not so bad, honestly, and like Sam she too has a good grasp of the digital world, and she's able to help Labramon digivolve much more consistently than most of us. I think we would get a long better if she got to know me a little more.

I can say for certain that I like Labramon, however. He seems to be kind of quiet around me. Perhaps he doesn't have all that much to say, but I think its a bit more likely that he shares his partner's opinion of me. Its a bit discouraging, actually. I wonder if I said something that rubbed him the wrong way. He gets along much better with everyone else, it seems, especially Fanbeemon. I hope he warms up to me eventually, as he's certainly one of the Digimon in our group I'd prefer to accompany.

[spoiler=Gabe and Loki]I rarely speak to Gabe at all. He's... odd. I can't tell what he's thinking or what he thinks of the rest of us, but I think we'd all get along if and when he opened up to us. He reminds me of Betamon in that way, though I don't think he's as capable of wisdom as our amphibious ally.

I despise Loki, however. He's antagonistic, and I've fallen for his practical jokes one too many times. He's a bully, and he's just asking for a fight. Curse that necklace of Takeru's being so tempting...

[spoiler=Glenn]
Name: Glenn Radley
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Partner Digimon: Floramon
[spoiler=Core ZERO-ARMS]
Daisy Chain
While not seeming like much, the Daisy Chain is a potent ZERO-ARMS in the right hands. On first glance, it just looks like a series of golden flowers strung together by their stalks into a chain, but on closer inspection, the flowers' petals and interiors are made of real gold, and the stalks a strange, pliable green metal. Pulling on two of the flower links hard enough in opposite directions will cause a third to sprout from the middle, and more links to keep forming as the forces pull. Conversely, pushing together two links will cause all links in between to start to contract, one by one, though the Daisy Chain cannot have less than 3 links, and its maximum number of links is unknown. However, the most interesting property of the Daisy Chain is what happens when it is worn. It can be wrapped around a limb, or around the neck, though it works better the closer it is to the head, so wearing it around the head like a tiara provides the best usage. Once worn, it allows the wearer to commune with nonsentient plants (as opposed to Plant-like Digimon) and sense things through them, with the range and the vividity of the sensing better the closer the Chain is to the head. Plus, if a Plant-like Digimon wears the Daisy Chain, they then have the power to accelerate the growth of nearby nonsentient plants to a much smaller range than sensing and control the nonsentient plants within that radius to do their bidding.

[spoiler=Physical Description]
Tachibana.Makoto.600.1728138.jpg
Glenn carries all sorts of things in his backpack, which seems to be bottomless, though he's really just a good packer. He has a sleeping bag, a collapsible frying pan and pot, various knives and other handheld implements for a variety of purposes, from cooking to cutting to whittling, emergency rations and medicine in sealed waterproof packets, camouflaged tarps for setting up shelter, and a set of rock-climbing ropes, grapnels, and carabeaners. His D-A is military green and rose pink.

[spoiler=Personality]Glenn is a bit of a loner, and finds it somewhat difficult to interact with large groups of people. Having lost his parents and his house to a freak gas main explosion when they lived deep in the city, Glenn never quite fit in anywhere as he was shunted from one foster family to another, changing schools multiple times and never really setting down roots in one place. To make up for that, he learned to be self-reliant and independent, as well as honest and trustworthy, enough that his foster parents would let him go out on hiking trips, first with various groups until he got old enough to go on his own. As a result, Glenn loves living out in and among nature, and seeing the kind of beauty others will only see from someone's photos on their personal social media feeds. Of course, because of his somewhat stunted social development, Glenn has very little idea how to talk to members of the other sex, and is somewhat asexual as a result. He is also somewhat mistrusting of complex technologies, as a faulty cloud-based monitor was what was the actual cause of the gas explosion that changed his life forever, despite his most recent foster parents buying him a new smartphone to communicate with them, though he mainly uses it to listen to audiobooks while he hikes.

[spoiler=Biography]Glenn could have had a much different life had fate not intervened. Born to a well-off upper middle class family in the middle of downtown Vancouver, Glenn might have become a full-fledged Vancouverite and really become a proud citizen of one of the most diverse and prosperous cities in Canada, as well as North America. However, when he was 8, a defective module of his family's Smart Kitchen monitoring the usage of natural gas for cooking created a fire that resulted in a massive explosion engulfing the entire floor in intense flames. Glenn, mercifully spared by being small enough to escape the initial fire to the elevator before the explosion, rode the explosion out and survived the falling of the elevator to the ground floor. With no other close relatives, he was released to the custody of the province and shunted around more than a dozen foster homes until he could claim his inheritance as left in his parents' will.
Almost a decade later, Glenn has endured a wide variety of families, towns, bullies, and social groups, but he has grown stronger. He's tall, but muscled like an athlete beneath his clothes, and dyed his hair green. While he attends a private academy, and has solid grades, he still doesn't interact much with other people of his age group. Regardless, he mainly spends his time doing odd jobs to save up money to pay the bus so, on holidays, he can go off somewhere to retreat and reflect. He was on the way to one such expedition to the Canadian Rockies when he decided, on a whim, to check the Digital Hunter game his parents added to the smartphone they gave him for Christmas. He had checked it sparingly, interacting with the game only when bored. It was this, driving away at the tedium of the bus ride, that was his location when he was dragged into the Digital World, thankfully with his backpack and camping gear, and ended up in the middle of a forest, a confused-looking Floramon looking straight at him...

[spoiler=Misc. Info]Voice Actor: Troy Baker

[spoiler=Interactions]

Well, this sure is an interesting group. So far, I've gotten the impression that I'm not very welcome. Sure is a nice place we're stuck in, though. Crazy, but nice. First off, there's the closest thing this group has to a leader, Takeru. Sometimes, he can be off the walls for adventure, and other times, not at all cut out to lead anything, let alone us, but he does have a certain charisma. Dracomon, on the other hand, feels like more of an overgrown cat than any sort of dragon. He keeps trying to find excuses to get close to my pack just so he can try and nose around in it. A couple of light whacks on the snout with a frying pan have started to teach him to not poke in my stuff...for now. Then there's Yusuke...who I honestly can't tell if they are a guy or a girl. The androgynous figure and boyish attitude, but somewhat feminine voice doesn't help. Her partner, Bearmon, is a bit of a simpleton, but he's at least got his heart in the right place, and is actually willing to help and learn tasks like cooking and cleaning. Kazuto, on the other hand, is probably where I would've gone if I wasn't such a Luddite. He is clearly out of his element out here, though his sister Hotaru is at least helping him cope...and I have to admit, she is pretty adorable. I wish I had a little sister like that. FanBeemon, Kazuto's partner, seems to try to spend a lot of time around Flora, but when I asked her about it, she huffed at me a bit more than usual. Guess that's a sore subject with her.

Anyways, onto Sam, who I'm just waiting to finally drop the cool guy attitude and either break or learn some proper confidence. I've seen his type before. All talk, but no walk when the going gets tough. However, I might have to talk to him, since he thinks me and Gabe have a thing. Betamon, on the other hand, I like. If only he wasn't so skittish. I think he thinks I'm totally ignorant to everyone, but I don't always play music from my headphones. Sometimes I just like to listen to the others. Eileen...I...she's...umm...really nice...and she smells nice...She's like Sam, but not all that cocky...And Labramon, her partner, is also nice, but in more of a "good boy" kind of way. It's actually cool to have a dog that not only can carry on an intelligent conversation, but also has opposable thumbs. Ball's in your court, nature. Going back to Gabe, he's just as gender-ambiguous as Yusuke, but if I didn't meet him first, I probably would still be guessing. He doesn't talk that much, in fact, he talks less than I do, but he and I developed a rapport before running into the others. He's good in my book. Speaking of good, Loki, Gabe's partner, lives up to his name. That little pipsqueak is trouble, and as long as he doesn't bug me like he did those first few days, I'll be alright with him.

Which brings us to MY partner, Flora. Sweet Jiminy Christmas, I need to figure out what to do about her. Ignoring her doesn't help, since she needs me to Digivolve and activate the Daisy Chain, but expects me to simply hand it over to her whenever she thinks she needs it, even when it's dealing with a minor inconvenience. Kowtowing to her whims doesn't help, because it's the same as if you gave a mouse a cookie. The moment she thinks you are subservient to her, she will make it that way. And don't even get me started on the fact that, unlike the others, I have had to whip out a frying pan or a fishing pole to go toe-to-toe with threats when SHE wanted ME to protect her against creatures, even A FREAKING GIANT SENTIENT PIECE OF CRAP!!! Ugh...I hope we figure out what to do about our relationship soon...

[spoiler=Flora]
Name: Flora
Gender: Female
Species: Floramon
Partner: Glenn
Digivolution Line: Tanemon -> Floramon -> Kabukimon -> Lilamon -> Rosemon (Bio-Merge)
[spoiler=Physical Description]Floramon.600.1788009.jpg
Flora has enough dexterity in her hand-flowers to create finger-like pseudopods out of her tendrils and manipulate those petals for fine motor skills.

[spoiler=Personality]Flora is quite the opposite of the quieter, more reserved Glenn. She is a very proud individual, especially in her regards to her royal lineage, and prefers to project authority and grace as befitting of her status as a princess. She has a very high opinion of both her appearance and her skills regarding combat and diplomacy, resulting in her coming off as prideful and vain. However, she is stubborn and finds it difficult to express her true feelings to others, since she is expected to represent her family and her nation. She does not like being looked down upon or told what to do, as she wants to be viewed as an adult and as royalty. This results in her easily becoming aggressive and can be very opinionated regarding how things should be done. This can result in her being a hypocrite, especially in regards to leadership and survival. She insists on being in charge, and that she should get better preference over others, but she won't fight unless she absolutely has to, and will fall back on her partner to protect her, despite her having the ability to use attacks and Digivolve. This is because she is actually quite insecure about herself, since she is third-in-line for the throne, and has constructed this persona of royal authority as a proper princess to hide how much of a scared, immature little girl she really is.

[spoiler=Biography]Princess Flora Jessant De Lys is third in line for the throne of the matriarchal Kingdom of Lys, a small but powerful nation in the Digital World with ties to the lineage of the Jungle Troopers Digimon family. Situate on a tropical island of the same name, Lys is ruled by Queen Lotosmon and her husband, King Deramon. The two have produced Crown Princess Anemoi, a Zephyrmon who is the eldest heiress, Princess Venti, a Kazemon that will serve as an ambassador, and Flora, the third sibling, who is to be married off to secure an alliance with another nation. When she found out that her suitor was the detestable PrinceMamemon, an ally of Kaisermon, she ran away and escaped to far-off parts, even though Lys was going to stave off conquest from Kaisermon by allying with PrinceMamemon and his domain of Mametopia. Hunted by PrinceMamemon's best warrior, BanchouMamemon, Flora eventually encountered Glenn, and discovered, much to her chagrin, that she was to be partnered with a human...

[spoiler=Interactions]

First off, allow me to preface this by stating, for the record, that I will attempt to be completely unbiased and fair in these assessments, and not let the fact that all of the people in this writing are peasants commoners unworthy of my attention of a lower standing. That being said, I shall start with Takeru, the first of our merry band of misfits adventurers. He initially comes off as easy to manipulate unsure of himself, but I think that he has the makings of a true leader within him...maybe...possibly...with a lot of work and perseverance...Likewise, his partner, the noble and proud Dracomon is the closest thing I would consider to an equal out here. He is boastful and arrogant, yet noble and honorable. My knight in scaled armor! Yusuke, on the other hand, is a girl boy hermaphrodite? human that needs to learn some manners and respect! take after myself when it comes to grace and tact. She could stand to learn much from the ways of a true woman, such as myself. Her partner, Bearmon is as simple stupid oblivious focused as his partner is stubbotn strong-willed. Kazuto is another human that is a complete loner and shut-in reserved and contemplative, and his sister Hotaru is admittedly...very cute. She cares a lot for the lazy, worthless git her beloved "onii-chan". FanBeemon, on the other hand, should stay the heck away from me, you crazy bee! needs to stop lusting after my nectar and pollen! HAS NOTHING REDEEMING ABOUT HIM WHATSOEVER!!! <Incoherent Angry Scrawling Redacted>

Where was I? Oh. Sam. Like Dracmon, he is overconfident and insecure a proud warrior of goodness and right, capable of thinking about taking care of problems that threaten the group. His partner, Betamon, is the complete opposite, being even more shy than my worthless partner more reserved, complimenting his tactically-minded companion with strategic insight. Eileen is similarly naive confident of herself, and makes a good pairing with Labramon, the least worthless of the commoners most loyal of our party. Gabe is the human member of the group I have come to loathe understand. He is strangely humble, and...I am actually rather jealous of how nice he is...pleasant. Loki can go choke to death on my pollen can stop trying to get Fanbeemon and I together! is a Tsukaimon.

I have nothing to say about Glenn.

[spoiler=Core ZERO-ARMS]Highlight Reel: A ZERO-ARMS weapon that resembles a gargantuan sewing needle, and functions similarly to a harpoon or a javelin. The eye is wrapped in plastic, which also extends 9cm (3½") from the base of the eye itself. This plastic serves as a handle for the wielder to throw the Highlight Reel with. Tied through the eye of the Highlight Reel is a sturdy thread which can be used to pull the weapon back to the wielder for another throw. The thread glows in the dark as well, and as such, the Highlight Reel can used to light the way at night or in dimly lit places. The Highlight Reel has an effective maximum range of 15m (49') while taking a strong throwing arm into account.

[spoiler=Upgrades from the Rookie Form Highlight Reel]Champion Form: Magnetic needles can now be shot from the tip of the Highlight Reel. These needles appear more like the typical sewing needle, and the magnetic pulses they emit can aid in the Highlight Reel's accuracy once it's thrown. In addition, barbs can be seen protruding from the tip of the Highlight Reel itself, and are shaped aerodynamically so as to prevent compromise on the speed that the Highlight Reel can be thrown at. These barbs will dig into a stricken Digimon, allowing the wielder to drag that Digimon with the Highlight Reel itself. However, the heavier the stricken Digimon compared to the wielder, the less likely such an event is to happen.

Ultimate Form: The Highlight Reel is now fully encased in electricity. This in turn means that human and Digimon alike can touch neither the thread nor the metal part of the Highlight Reel itself without being shocked into oblivion. However, in order to safely retract the now electrified thread, the Highlight Reel comes with a remote controlled wince which draws the thread into a reel-shaped drum situated on the wielder's back. Because the wince is mechanically operated, the wielder has a monumentally easier time dragging heavier Digimon around. The magnetic needles shot from the Highlight Reel's tip also pick up the residual electricity from the weapon itself, and as such, they can be used to stun a Digimon briefly as well as emit their usual magnetic pulses.

Mega Form: Equipped onto the right arm of the Lilithmon that Yusuke and Bearmon BioMerge into, and replaces the Nazar Nail that the usual Lilithmon is known for. The drum from the Ultimate Form is maintained as with the electrified nature of the Highlight Reel itself, but this time Lilithmon uses it differently. Specifically, she'll use it as a rapier while it's still attached to her right arm, and will literally fire it from said arm instead of throwing it. Since so much more force is exerted this way, the Highlight Reel ends up soaring through the air at a tremendous velocity; enough so that it can penetrate straight through Chrome Digizoid, and pierce up to 5 Digimon in a line. (Of course the maximum number of Digimon that can be pierced is reduced by 1 for each item of Chrome Digizoid.) A scope is placed on top of the eye of the Highlight Reel, allowing Lilithmon to fire either the weapon itself or the magnetic needles shot from the tip more accurately, and the maximum range is extended a hundred-fold.

[spoiler=Physical Description]As typical of a teenage Japanese girl, Yusuke stands at 152cm (5' 0") tall, weighs 49kg (108lbs) and has a BWH ratio of 22-20-21. She's still in the early stages of puberty, so it's understandable that Yusuke remains as flat as a board, but because she's as flat as a board, she doesn't believe that she needs to wear a bra; which is good for her because she hates wearing the damned things. So she doesn't. Yusuke wears a white vest with black stripes on it, a pair of beige shorts, thigh-high stockings and heavy work boots. She also wears an olive green coat most of the time, but if it's too hot outside or the coat would otherwise get dirty or wet, Yusuke will take it off and give it to someone to hold onto. To complete the tomboy look, Yusuke's hair is much shorter than that of most girls her age, and is cut in a bowl style. The main body of Yusuke's Digivice is black, but it has white buttons and a red screen, as well as a blue strap to wrap around her left wrist.

17f34ea9f8a0adb8b39aeeab9ef9fa5f8893c9aa

[spoiler=Personality]Put simply, Yusuke is a tomboy through and through. Just because she's a girl doesn't mean one should ever expect her to fall in line with the typical female stereotype. In actuality though, even though she's in such a scarce population of female DigiDestined, Yusuke feels as though she's one of the guys bumming around the Digital World, and she'll interact with the other DigiDestined as such. That said, she almost gets offended when she's asked out on a date from out of nowhere... and ideally, she wouldn't be asked out at all. Deep down though, Yusuke has a hard time identifying herself as a girl, and being in a group that would otherwise very nearly be a sausage-fest only compounds the difficulty of coping with this. Yusuke doesn't like to talk about her gender identity issues... especially not within earshot of Bearmon, or else she risks him taking what she's saying right the hell out of context, which has been known to embarrass her. When someone tries to or manages to embarrass her, Yusuke will give them a good scolding, and may threaten to kick their ass from where they are right now to somewhere on the other side of the Digital World.

However, even while she has tomboy mannerisms and gender identity issues, Yusuke is still a good kid overall. She'll fight for what's right, and even if she has to tackle the unknown, she won't back down or give in. Yusuke's courage has actually gotten her pretty far in life, and she's not afraid to take risks either... unless of course the risks themselves are so obscene that they'd mar her conscience until the day she died. Perhaps these can be seen as tough acts that she puts on so that she doesn't feel ashamed of being a girl, but in her heart, they feel genuine, and in her mind, that's quite frankly close enough. Yusuke tends to keep her guard up most of the time, however, and has been known to even keep it up around those that she's gotten to know a little about. But she'll loosen up once she's by herself, or with a single being that she trusts. Bearmon doesn't count due to him always being there anyway, but the fact that he saved Yusuke's life must count for something.

Yusuke had been lonely for such a large percentage of her life that now she's starting to get used to it. Even if she happens to be separated from Bearmon and all the other DigiDestined, it won't really phase her all that much. In fact, she prefers some time alone every once and while, especially if she needs to think something through. Truth be told, Yusuke doesn't expect to make many friends during her stay inside the Digital World, and would be lucky just to have one. And besides, she's not exactly here to make friends anyway; she's here to do what she must before she can get out of this digital wasteland and back to the real world where she belongs.

[spoiler=Biography]Yusuke Fukunaga was the eldest daughter of the three that her parents had kept. She'd been an only child for so long, and her mother had been pregnant so many times, only to come home from the hospital with a flat belly again and nothing to show for her pregnancies. She'd even counted them all; Mrs. Fukunaga had a total of five pregnancies, with only the first and last bearing fruit for herself and her husband. It turned out that the husband and wife had, upon agreement with each other, to give away most of the children that the latter gave birth to to friends who'd had trouble starting their own families. Eventually, Yusuke's mother brought home two identical twins that she'd given birth to, which the parents had named Kame and Kameko Fukunaga. Yusuke was eight years old at the time Kame and Kameko were brought home.

Life was bland for Yusuke. She was very lonely before the births of Kame and Kameko. At school, she tried to look and act more boy-like in an effort to make herself more likable by a male-dominated classroom, and at least gain some friends as a result, but that didn't pan out in the slightest. Mr. and Mrs. Fukunaga having finally brought home children that the latter had given birth to for once in their lives made it a little easier, but it wasn't enough. However, when a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game by the name of Digital Hunter finally hit the shelves, Yusuke finally had the means to alleviate the discomfort that loneliness was often burdened with. She just needed to pay for it somehow... which she did, by using her mom's credit card to purchase it. Personally, she considered it payback for giving away all those other siblings she could've had. Unfortunately she couldn't invest the time required to truly appreciate the MMORPG... mostly because Kame and Kameko were being constant nuisances.

When Yusuke was tasked with babysitting the twins, the first thing she did was tell them that they were grounded for the whole day. Naturally, Kame and Kameko complained that they didn't even do anything, so Yusuke began to undress straight in front of them... making them run to their rooms screaming. This gave her plenty of time to finally come to realize everything the Digital Hunter game had to offer. Unfortunately, this was the day that Yggdrasil was overloaded with data and died as a result. Yusuke was fully immersed into the game when all of a sudden, a portal appeared next to a wall that she had her back to. She hung onto the heaviest thing she could find with all her might, but Yusuke only lasted long enough for Kame and Kameko to see what was happening to her, before she was sucked into the Digital World.

As she fell through what looked like a prettily lit tunnel, Yusuke closed her eyes, wondering if she too was going to die that day. Next thing she knew, a solid whack from a tree branch forced her eyes open again, only for her to see that she was still... falling... upwards? Yusuke was too confused by this to brace herself for the next series of branch impacts, one of which finally stopped her ascent at the price of a solid concussion, before she plummeted into the arms of a Bearmon that was there to catch her. This Bearmon, who would eventually become Yusuke's companion, did his best to nurse Yusuke back to health, but the poor girl wasn't going to feel any better without any rest. However, Yusuke was gonna be in for a shock the minute she recovered from all of the injuries she sustained from such a brutal entry into the Digital World.

[spoiler=Physical Description]From an appearance standpoint, the only difference between any other Bearmon and the one that Yusuke has to deal with is that this one is significantly pudgier. Probably because all he puts much thought into most of the time is food. However, perhaps this Bearmon will slim down over the course of the RP.

Bearmon.jpg

[spoiler=Personality]Honestly, Bearmon isn't the brightest Digimon one will come across; far from it. The biggest problem he has is that he tends to take what he hears out of context from time to time... and it's hard to tell if he does it on purpose or if his brain is that incompetent at registering what people are saying correctly, though the fact that Yusuke believes she has to yell at Bearmon for this for the umpteenth time suggests the latter. There're several little tell-tale signs of Bearmon's lesser intellect over the other DigiDestined or party Digimon as well, such as his ineptness at solving puzzles and riddles and the like, and his inability to offer any real insight on too much of anything. Bearmon is also somewhat of a glutton, and will sometimes reach for the exact same item of food as someone else without paying the slightest attention.

Despite all his flaws though, and you can see that Bearmon is good to have around. He's friendly, loyal, courageous, strong-willed, well-intentioned and sets a good example for how to be good. And even with his lesser intelligence, Bearmon can usually tell when something is wrong, either physically, mentally or from a conscience standpoint, and will try his best to correct it if its a case of the former. To his credit, patching someone up is among his capabilities, and he knows what needs to happen when someone is injured. In addition, if an enemy needs beating down or even if someone needs an extra pair of hands, Bearmon is here to help.

[spoiler=Biography]Before the death of Yggdrasil, Bearmon was living happily in Toy Village, playing with the ToyAgumon that inhabited the village and all the toys that zoomed around within. When he wasn't doing that, he was running errands for the king of Toy Village, a Monzaemon who was wearing a crown and a royal-looking cape. Most of these errands involved getting supplies for Toy Village or delivering invitations to the village to other Digimon. Monzaemon was a nice king who was never too strict on his fellow people, but the second he was made aware of Yggdrasil's demise, he grew more and more concerned about his kingdom. Sure enough, Bearmon was sent out to scout the outskirts of Toy Village for any sign of danger from then on, when one day, he witnessed what looked to be a gargantuan army of ShadowToyAgumon gathering around a WaruMonzaemon with a cigar in its mouth and donning a military uniform. The WaruMonzaemon had made a speech to his army, mentioning something about taking over Toy Village in Kaisermon's name. Assuming that was all he needed to know, Bearmon rushed to inform Monzaemon of the planned assault. Monzaemon then turned to his ToyAgumon, and asked that they all stand their ground when the army of ShadowToyAgumon arrived.

Not having high hopes of survival, however, Monzaemon gave Bearmon one last errand. Deep inside the castle where Monzaemon resided was a ZERO-ARMS known as the Highlight Reel, which he suspected the attacking WaruMonzaemon was after this whole time. Monzaemon had instructed Bearmon to take the Highlight Reel with him and run, and not stop until he found someone who could wield the ZERO-ARMS and protect him. That's exactly what Bearmon did; without ever turned back. Bearmon never knew what happened to Monzaemon and the ToyAgumon that originally inhabited Toy Village, but that was a bridge he'd have to crossed when he got there. In the meantime, he found himself bumming around in a forest after a good while running when all of a sudden, a portal appeared just in front of him. Bearmon wasn't thinking to engage his curiosity to look inside the portal to see if anything was on the other side of it. Instead, he was thinking...

"Oh, sheet!"

And so he dived out of the way, while a human girl by the name of Yusuke Fukunaga was shot out from the portal on the ground before it disappeared, and had been sent straight up into a tree. Her body was banged up pretty good by the branches she'd hit, but thankfully Bearmon managed to scramble to his feet and catch her in his arms. Bearmon tried his best to fix Yusuke up again, and it turned out that he'd done a pretty decent job, but he had no experience with concussions. In the end, since he had nowhere else that he could possibly go, Bearmon decided to stay with Yusuke and wait for her to recover from her injuries.

Interactions with Other Characters
[spoiler=Yusuke & Bearmon]pxumtLv.png

"...yyyyyeeeaaah, I was hoping for something a lil' more intimidating. But Bearmon will have to do, I guess... I mean, sure, he eats too much, he embarrasses me at times which pisses me off, and if I'm honest, he's as dumb as a funking brick. But there's this certain charm about him that I can't help but like. It's probably the fact that the first thing he did when we met was saving my life. That's very cool, no matter what way you look at it. He's a competent fighter too when it comes down to life or death, which is surprising since he tells me all the time that he's not a violent Digimon. But I wish he'd ask for a few stabs of the Highlight Reel more often.

It's a good thing I throw it anyway, or else I'd be missing out on all the fun..."

G72poQB.png

"I can't say I've much experience with humans. To tell to truth, I didn't even know that humans existed once upon a time. But let me tell you; Yusuke just so happens to be the bravest soul I've ever met. I must've said the words "I got this" umpteen times whenever we got in trouble with the bad guys, but even then, Yusuke would more often or not jump into the fray anyway. That takes a lot of guts as it is, but she also takes up offers to scout out or keep watch very readily. Hell, even after someone says such a thing needs to be done, I'm not surprised that Yusuke's frequently the first to call shotgun on it.

What worries me though is that Yusuke has her guard up all the time; even around most of the others. Among Loki of all things, I can understand, but everyone else? Makes you wonder why she's so lonely all the time. I've seen her loosen up when she's by herself or with someone in particular, but she puts it back up again when she's done. Maybe she's concentrating on getting out of here, rather than befriending the ones she's stuck with. I dunno. But the Digital World isn't an unsafe place in its own right.

...

Someone'll have to
remind me to tell her that once we save it."

[spoiler=Sam & Betamon]pxumtLv.png

"Oh, Sam. Sammity Sammity Sam. If he'd drop-kick this god-damned ego of his then maybe I'd like him for once in my life. Or at have some form of reason to. Or something. As it stands now though, I don't see us getting along at all. I did try to legitimately befriend Sam back then at least, but that one conversation we had fell apart at the seams way too quickly; I bet that jabroni's internally blaming me for it as we speak. In any case, I'm certain it's his fault in all reality. He thinks he so perfect, and he's clearly trying too hard to be the team leader that he claims to be in his mind. Oh well, better to have the arrogant son of a jabroni over someone who doesn't actually know what the hell he's doing. Sam at least puts that much confidence in the decisions that he makes, so that's... something, I guess?

Ultimately though, Betamon is the infinitely more tolerable of the two... but that's only because he doesn't actually do anything. Though in hindsight, it'd be more correct to say that I never saw him do anything. Maybe he does all the sheet that he does behind my back, I don't know. But something I do know about Betamon is that he happens to hold grudges on other people and/or Digimon. Some of these grudges of his are understandable, others... not so much. I just hope that Bearmon doesn't say or do anything stupid in front of him, but I bet you ¥1000 that that's exactly what he'll end up doing, intentionally or otherwise..."

G72poQB.png

"So Sam's the designated leader huh? You'd think that someone of such a position would be well-liked, but I'm honestly not feeling that vibe from him. He sure seems confident in himself, but from what I'm gathering, that seems to be a bad quality to have. Why that'd be the case though, I guess I'll never know. Actually, it might be the fact that he's not always nice to everyone. I'm sure that's something Yusuke would say about Sam. Still though, I wonder what's going on through his mind right now. Perhaps if I gaze into his eyes hard enough, I might actually learn something about him. Dunno if that's how the whole "mind game" works, but anyway...

Yusuke also keeps telling me to "not say anything stupid", most notably around this Betamon that lugs around Sam. But Betamon already dislikes me to some extent; what could possibly happen that would make him think any less of me than he already does? I mean... it's not like he'll Digivolve into Seadramon just as I say something and bite my head off; that'd mean turning against the whole crew! As unlikely as such an event will happen, and as solid a conscience that I'm sure that Betamon has, it's not gonna stop Yusuke from worrying about the whole scenario too much. But she worries me too, so I believe we're even."

[spoiler=Gabe & Loki]pxumtLv.png

"Honestly, I don't even know what to think of Gabe. He's very timid and meek and frail and all that sheet, and he seems to be showing signs of... having been abused, maybe? I can't say for certain, and I'd hate to think that family or "friends" could be enough of an jabroni to the poor guy, but... I still feel sorry for him nonetheless. I mostly see Gabe around at night, though I can't exactly fathom why. Does he have insomnia or something? That might explain a lot, but... I don't know.

Loki can funk off and die in a digital hole for all I care. All it is is a stupid Patamon with a gay-ass palette swap, retarded looking eyes and an even stupider actual name. Did I mention that it has the mindset of a funking two-year-old? No? Well, it does, and there's no funking need for it. I swear, if that walking piece of sheet says anything to my face that'd cross the line, I'm gonna shove this Highlight Reel right up its jabroni! Twice! Check that, four times!"

G72poQB.png

"Quite frankly, Gabe seems to be completely out of the loop. There's always something concerning him, and that concerns me too. But every time I ask if something's wrong, he almost always says that it's nothing. Meh, I'm sure he'll manage... eventually. In any case, there's clearly something wrong with Gabe, and Loki probably has something to do with it. If only he had a more respectful Digimon partner... like me! Some of my stature would be perfect for him.

Speaking of Loki, it's actually a pretty cool name to have. But the Tsukaimon himself... not so much. He's always asking me questions that we both know I can't actually answer, and then he turns around and goads me for not being able to come up with a dignified response! And then there's the way he treats everyone else in the party. Ugh, he's lucky I'm not a violent Digimon, but for his sake, I just hope Loki doesn't try and provoke Yusuke too heavily, cause otherwise he'll only live just long enough to regret making her snap. Yusuke said something about repeatedly stabbing Loki in the butt. 'Tis not a nice thing to say, but that actually would be amusing to see..."

[spoiler=Eileen & Labramon]pxumtLv.png

"Welp, everyone else seems to be all over Eileen for one reason or another. Personally, I'm just glad I'm not in a sausage-fest any more, but I'm not so sure I like Eileen as a person either; I get enough of her antics from Sammity Sam. Actually, I think I'd pretty much get an Eileen anyway if I cut off Sam's dick. And give him a pair of tits instead. And dye his hair red. And make it grow longer somehow. Anyway, Eileen scolded at Bearmon the other day for eating some steak off her plate, and even now she holds a grudge against him, which is entirely unnecessary. I mean, he eats sheet off my plate too, and I don't make that big a deal over it. I'll get mad at the time, obviously, but apart from that... eh, whatevs. But keeping Bearmon in line is my responsibility, thank you very much Eileen.

I'm kinda jealous that Eileen gets to have Labramon as her partner. He's simple, loyal, lovable, friendly, not retarded like funking Bearmon can be at times... hell, even if he weren't such a good fighter I'd have got that covered. That's what the Highlight Reel's for, right? Still, as tempting as it would be to try and trade Bearmon for Labramon, I couldn't break the two of them apart. They're just soooo perfect for each other, it's annoying."

G72poQB.png

"Geez, Eileen's not gonna live me down, is she? She may have a pretty face, but she can be very mean despite that... and she's mean to me in particular! I don't even remember what I ever did to deserve su-...! Oh wait, yeah I do. It was a long spring night, and we were all out in a camp fire. Eileen told me to get more firewood for whatever reason, so I did. But on my way back, I remember catching the scent of a nice, succulent aroma. And there it was; a nice, big, juicy steak just waiting for my taste buds to be washed with flavor. Mmmmm, mm, mm, mm, mmm! Next thing I knew Eileen was barking at me like I'd expect from Yusuke, but it was totally worth it.

That reminds me of Labramon to some extent. He doesn't have any complications about him like I see from some of the others, and unlike Eileen, he's very friendly towards me; as well as most everyone else in the group. Then again, he seems wary of Gabe & Loki which... I can understand the latter at least, and Yusuke tends to get just a little too close to Labramon, which worries me to an extent. I hope she doesn't try to give me away to Eileen while she uses Labramon instead; although I don't expect Eileen to accept such an offer because of how close they are to each other, I'm not at all looking forward to the unlikely event that she does."

[spoiler=Takeru & Dracomon]pxumtLv.png

"There was a time where I could've sworn Takeru didn't like me, but he would never spit out whether that was the case. He's awkward to talk to, but after jumping through X amount of hoops to make him feel comfortable, he's actually a pretty cool guy. Then again jumping through said hoops to begin with can be annoying. Eh, at least Takeru's not like Bearmon in that he'd take sheet out of context on purpose. Actually, he proves to be pretty damn thoughtful, and we've had good talks because of that.

Which brings me to Dracomon. He's an arrogant son of a jabroni like Sam, and he often picks fights with Loki. I'd do the same thing too, but I know better than that... as much as it takes every ounce of my funking strength. He shows off too much for his own good too, and considering he's only 3 feet tall, that could get him into trouble. By that logic, I shouldn't like Dracomon at all, but the reason I like him over our so called "fearless leader" is that he complimented me for my bravery and generic toughness. That's cool. Good to know that he has respect for me if no-one else does. The jokes he tries to crack could use work though; Bearmon's the only one that laughs at them."

G72poQB.png

"Takeru seems to shy away from most social situations, and this seems to be a unique trait for him in particular. Come to think of it, I don't know Takeru himself all that well. Perhaps Yusuke and I should spend some more quality time with him; the two seemed to have good talks before.

On the other hand, Dracomon's the most awesome Digimon ever! He's cool, strong, confident...! Not perfect though, I'll admit that. He often butts heads with Loki which is understandable enough I suppose, and not showing off so much in battle would do him some good. But he certainly has a knack for jokes. They're so funny, and with a little practice, Dracomon could get himself an audiance going; even Yusuke said though! Though she may've said that sarcastically. Hard to tell with her..."

[spoiler=Glenn & Flora]pxumtLv.png

"And here I thought we were all city boys and girls. Then all of a sudden this guy that calls himself Glenn pops up. But... yeah, obvious nature freak is all I got on the guy. We don't talk much... and by much I mean at all. Hell, I've never even seen him talk to anyone. So I don't know what to make of him just yet. Glenn always seems to have a frying pan on hand. Hopefully he proves to be a mean-ass cook, cause we'll need one at least somewhere down the track if not right now.

Anyway, at least he's bound accomplish more than this funking jabroni! Flora thinks everyone's beneath her, whereas in reality she's the low man on the totem pole. Oh yeah, I went there. She's useless in battle, she's hopeless around chores, and she certainly won't sully her hands cause "pwincesses dun do dat, ooooooOOOOooooooh!" Not only does that piss me off so much, it's actually offensive. Besides, even if what Flora's saying about being a princess was true, I still wouldn't have given a rat's ass about her. Or her dumbass demands. I'd just...! I honestly don't know who's worse; her or that funking Loki..."

G72poQB.png

"...wait, there's a guy named Glenn? Really?! Oh, yeah yeah yeah yeah, I remember him now; he's the guy with the backpack, right? Right. So anyway, Glenn likes to look at all the plants the Digital World has to offer. In fact, he spends more time with them then he does with the other DigiDestined. Me personally, I wouldn't find them as anything special, mostly because I see them all the time. Still, Glenn seems to be out of his element to me; even more so than all the others. Perhaps that's why he's distancing himself from them, I don't know. But I sure hope he uses that frying pan for its intended use more often.

Now what's that expression I keep hearing? "If you want it done right, you've got to do it yourself?" Yeah... someone's gonna have to teach Flora that one. She's always so bossy, and Yusuke just gets so angry with her. Probably because she's so bossy. But at the same time, she's so dependent on the others around her that it's pathetic in all honesty. Yusuke appears to be unsure whether Flora's the worst person in the party or Loki is, but at least Flora doesn't insult me every chance she gets. Actually, her current persona seems more like a shell, and I bet that she's actually a sweet Digimon inside. But that's just me, I guess..."

[spoiler=Kazuto]

nz9B6rRb.jpg?1

"Nnnn...Huh?  O-Oh, yeah, uh...Sorry..."

Name: Kazuto Fujiwara (藤原 和人)

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Partner Digimon: FanBeemon

[spoiler=Core ZERO-ARMS]

Tonbogiri (蜻蛉切 “Dragonfly cutter”) – The legendary spear of daimyō Honda Tadakatsu, forged by Kazuto’s ancestor, the famed weapon smith Fujiwara no Masazane.  The original spear was named as it is because a dragonfly landed upon its blade, and was immediately cut in two.
[spoiler=FORMS]

FanBeemon: Tonbogiri takes the form of a covering for FanBeemon’s stinger, increasing its overall length and power.  Tonbogiri can also generate an electrical charge, further increasing its power while also allowing it to cause residual damage to enemies.

Waspmon: Tonbogiri attaches to the laser cannon barrel on Waspmon’s abdomen, causing it to resemble a knight's lance, allowing it to be used as a devastating melee weapon.  Additionally, the new stinger can separate into fourths to open up the laser cannon again and allow it to be fired, with much greater power and accuracy than without Tonbogiri.  Like in FanBeemon’s form, it can add an electrical property to attacks as well, to further increase their power.

CannonBeemon: Tonbogiri now takes the form of a large black-and-gold-striped rocket, placed squarely between the two topmost golden missile pods on CannonBeemon's back.  This form of Tonbogiri's purpose and usage is twofold: it can be used to accelerate CannonBeemon's flight (which is normally a bit slower than desirable, due to the weight of its weaponry), or as a missile, capable of inflicting massive damage.  These two uses can also be combined in a devastating ramming attack.  If Tonbogiri explodes in this form, it takes about a minute to reform on CannonBeemon's body.

TigerVespamon: Tonbogiri becomes something much closer to its namesake in form: it now takes the form of a long, black-and-gold knight's lance, which greatly resembles the physical portion of TigerVespamon’s Royal Meisters.  This lance is an insanely powerful weapon, with incredible piercing ability, and the standard electrical abilities of the previous forms.  However, Tonbogiri's true power lies in this form being able to open and create an even more powerful lance out of the same blue energy that makes up the blade of the Royal Meister.  Its most powerful technique in this form is the fabled "ZERO Stinger," an attack that is said to be immensely powerful, but at the same time very costly for the wielder...

Kazuto is slightly taller than most boys his age, at 179.5 cm tall.  However, as a result of all the time he spends inside playing games and watching movies, as well as his general lethargy, he isn’t in the best of shape physically speaking; he isn’t overweight by any means, but he has very little muscle definition, and he has a rather round, pale face.  His eyes are also almost always half-lidded, due to the amount of time he spends sleeping, as well as in low-light conditions.
Kazuto’s personal DigiArmory is black and gold in color, much like a bee, reflecting his partnership with FanBeemon.

[spoiler=Personality]

Kazuto on the surface seems like your standard NEET/hikikomori: his main areas of expertise are in video games, anime, tokosatsukaiju, and films, and he's very withdrawn and awkward, socially-speaking.  And to be quite fair, that's not exactly an incorrect summary...However, there's much more to him than just an awkward nerd.  First and foremost, Kazuto is an eternal pessimist; he's always ready to assume the worst in any given scenario, and he's perpetually afraid of his own shortcomings and failures.  He often shies away from social situations to avoid what he feels is the inevitable scenario: he says something stupid and everybody hates him and/or makes fun of him.  He also has made a habit of not speaking his mind when asked questions, simply because he doesn't want to give people a reason to dislike him any more than he feels they already do, and because he's convinced he's not somebody worth others concerning themselves over.  To sum it all up in a single term, Kazuto could easily be diagnosed with severe social anxiety.

Additionally, Kazuto's odd and unhealthy sleep habits are almost entirely formed by the people he's around and his perceptions of those people, as well.  Number one, he makes it a point to never fall asleep before Hotaru does, so he can watch over her and make sure she's safe and comfortable.  Furthermore, ever since meeting up with his fellow Tamers and hearing one off-handed comment about how tired he seemed to be, he also wills himself to stay up until everybody else in the party is asleep, just to avoid them getting mad at him for sleeping too much; this often backfires, though, as it generally ends up making him the last one to rise in the morning (thus defeating the point) as well as rendering him perpetually exhausted, regardless of when he wakes.

The root of many core aspects of his personality seem to stem from his dedication to Hotaru; he sees every aspect of her life as his responsibility, as he's had more of a role in her life than their parents ever did.  He's absolutely terrified by the prospect of letting her down in any way, by either not giving her every little thing she needs, or by something as grievous as letting something unfortunate happen to her.  And since entering the Digital World and meeting up with his fellow Tamers and their partners, he's doing everything he can to prove that he's not worthless (something he's not even sure he believes), and in his mind has added them to his list of things he needs to protect and care for with all he has — a list that was previously reserved for solely Hotaru.

Onto a more positive note, one of Kazuto's strengths is how remarkably insightful and intuitive he is; he's adept at understanding and empathizing with others' emotions, and he's skilled at looking past the surface layer of a scenario and finding the hidden meanings underneath...Not that he'd say anything about it, though, as he has a chronic case of second-guessing.  This skill is most likely attributable to the amount of time he spends engaging in and studying video games and films of various genres, looking for twists and hidden meanings and themes.  Additionally, as an offshoot of this, as well as his experience practically raising his own sibling, Kazuto has a knack for cheering people up when they're down; he gives his full effort whenever someone else's happiness is on the line, and does his best to reassure people when they're in low points, even despite his social anxiety.

The deepest level of Kazuto's personality, though, is his will to protect and care for others.  More than anything, especially given the current situation, Kazuto wishes to be stronger and more independent, so that others can depend on him without being let down all the time.  He wants to live his life in a way that makes those around him happy and not have to worry about themselves, others, and least of all him.  Though he can't quite say it to anyone, including FanBeemon or Hotaru (and most of the time even himself) Kazuto cares very deeply for everyone around him, and would do anything for them at a moment's notice...
Not that they'd ask a loser like me, though...

[spoiler=Biography]

Kazuto lived a fairly average, uneventful life for 12 years.  He had a mother, a father, and a sister, and they all lived in an average little house in an average little town.  However, shortly after he turned 12, his parents informed him they would be gone for a while on a business trip, and to take care of his then 4-year-old sister, Hotaru while they were gone.  However, over five years later, they have yet to return, the only indication that they are alive and still care for their children is the money they send for food and bills every month, and the occasional e-mail.

To be fair, though, Kazuto and Hotaru hardly miss their parents.  Kazuto spends most of his time in front of a screen anyway, and Hotaru has lived more of her life without them than with them.  Kazuto’s daily schedule for years has been to pick Hotaru up from her school after he gets out of his own, run errands with her, and then head home, where they’d play video games and watch TV together until Hotaru fell asleep.

Flash forward to the present.  Kazuto and Hotaru had been logged on together on Digital Hunter at the time when Yggdrasil suffered its massive crash.  Hotaru, terrified at the circumstances they had been thrust into and the strange creatures surrounding them, clung close to Kazuto.  From the moment they stepped into the Digital World, Kazuto has vowed to not only protect Hotaru, but also find a way to make things right again, and get back home.

"C'mon, c'mon!  I don't got all day; there's a world to save, after all!"

Name: FanBeemon

Gender: Male

Species: FanBeemon

Partner: Kazuto Fujiwara

Digivolution Line: Pupumon -> Puroromon -> FanBeemon -> Waspmon -> CannonBeemon -> TigerVespamon

[spoiler=Physical Description]

Funbeemon.jpg

FanBeemon looks just like any other member of his species, with nothing interesting to note.

[spoiler=Personality]

FanBeemon, quite contrary to his partner, is a very eager, playful, and energetic Digimon, who is in his element buzzing about and getting in playful scraps with fellow Digimon.  Additionally, he is great deal more confident and courageous than his partner, so he often runs headfirst into fights with other Digimon without even the slightest hesitation, much to Kazuto’s chagrin.  However, he does not act this way due to any sort of arrogance or recklessness; he sees it as his duty to the group to give his all and protect the whole group from his harm, a sentiment Kazuto can definitely identify with.

That being said, FanBeemon's not exactly perfect.  He has, on occasion, gotten in a little over his head in a fight and had to be bailed out by an ally's intervention.  Furthermore, he, much like his partner, has a fear of letting people down and being unable to protect them properly, stemming from losing his closest friend, Kyupimon.  Though, he's far more adept at channeling his feelings of failure than Kazuto is; if FanBeemon feels like he isn't strong enough or has let someone down, he won't stop training and fighting against other Digimon until he feels his made up for his perceived shortcoming.

Additionally, FanBeemon cannot be slowed down.  The only time his whole body can stop moving is when he's asleep, and even then, he's one of that rare breed that can be fully rested and raring to go not even 2 hours later — he's a dedicated power napper.  This also translates to FanBeemon being a bit impatient, as everybody else is perpetually lagging behind him.  However, he's good-natured about it; he doesn't get short with anyone except Kazuto (and even, that's only playful), and he understands not everybody can move at his pace all the time.

At his heart, much like Kazuto, FanBeemon is one who believes very strongly in giving your all to protect people and make them happy.  He never hesitates to help out whenever something needs doing, and he's very skilled in helping people to have a little fun when everything else in the world is getting them down.  Ever the optimist, FanBeemon does his best to keep the party's morale high and keep everyone motivated to keep moving whenever they start to lose their drive.  No matter what, FanBeemon is dedicated to the group and their cause, hoping against all hope that together, they can save the Digital World from its broken state and give everyone a better life from now on.

[spoiler=Biography]

FanBeemon started his life simply.  He spent his early days as nothing more than a resident of the mysterious "Royal Base," a supposedly massive flying fortress, located high above the rest of the Digital World.  When he finally matured to the point of actually being a FanBeemon, he was first put to work on interior maintenance of Royal Base, something he immediately detested — "Why keep me couped up inside when I just got wings?"  He campaigned hard to his superiors to let him work outside the base, and finally, after much difficulty, he was permitted to do so.

From that point on, FanBeemon would buzz about the Digital World, looking for the most verdant areas, and harvest data from those areas to bring back for Royal Base's construction projects.  One day, however, he felt a bit adventurous, and wandered further than usual from his standard path; however, he returned home without issue, right on time.  From this day forward, he became more and more adventurous with each of his assignments, flying further and further from Royal Base, and focusing less and less on his job.

It was during this adventuring that he met another Digimon that would become his closest friend: a Kyupimon.  Kyupimon was being harassed by a DemiDevimon, and FanBeemon saw it as his duty as an adventurer to rescue the In-Training Digimon.  He fought off the bully, and Kyupimon immediately became attached to FanBeemon, treating him like an older brother.  From then on, FanBeemon would visit Kyupimon every day to take care of him and play with him, as well as teach him how to fend for himself.

It was not long after this friendship began, though, that everything went to hell; when Yggdrasil crashed, the areas surrounding Kyupimon's home were hemorrhaged out of existence, becoming nothing but a void of corrupt code.  Royal Base wasn't spared, either; it was damaged severely by the crash, and many of the worker Digimon who called it home were deleted as well.  FanBeemon, who happened to be in a relative "safe zone" of the Digital World, was devastated when he realized what happened.  Distraught, and suddenly very alone in the world, he wandered in search of something — anything — that might help him find out what happened and fix the Digital World.

That was when he found Kazuto.  And the rest, as they say, is history.

[spoiler=Misc info]

  • FanBeemon is voiced in English by Matthew Mercer and in Japanese by Tomokazu Sugita.  This is true for all of his forms, save for his Fresh and In-Training forms, as he only communicates in various noises in those forms.  Additionally, he shares this combination of VAs with Chrom from Fire Emblem: Awakening.
  • FanBeemon's insert theme, which he shares with Hotaru and Kazuto, is Sanbika.

[spoiler=Core ZERO-ARMS]

Describe the D-A's core ZERO-ARMS in as much detail as possible

[spoiler=Physical Description]

JzQO4et.jpg

Hotaru is, as expected of a 9-year-old Japanese girl, rather small in stature, barely standing at 122 cm tall, and weighing no more than 29 kilograms soaking wet.  Her skin is rather pale, due to her nature as a bit of a shut-in, and her haircut is choppy and uneven, as though she cut it herself.  However, instead of looking like a weird hermit, she somehow manages to pull it off and look cute in the process.  Additionally, she has that little pigeon-toed, bow-legged, knock-kneed kind of walk that people seem to think is adorable for girls to have.  In terms of clothing, it is easy to tell that Hotaru is spoiled by her brother, as she always has new-looking, trendy outfits.

Hotaru's D-A (though it is not currently on her person) is predominately white, with lavender accents.

[spoiler=Personality]

A good portion of Hotaru’s personality can be summed up in a single word: Onii-chan.  She absolutely adores her older brother, thanks in no small part to the fact that by now, he’s taken care of her longer than her parents did.  She clings to Kazuto’s side most of the time, regardless of how familiar she is with a situation or any people around her.  She isn’t necessarily scared, though; it’s just a simple matter of him being practically her entire world, and she absolutely loves and adores him for it.  That being said, if she is separated from him for a considerable period of time, she will start to get worried, until slowly spiraling into a despondent state if she is apart from him for too long.  Additionally, due to her parents' abrupt departure when she was still young, she is blissfully unaware that she and her brother aren't biologically related.

Aside from having the same general interests as her brother and caring as much as she does about him, though, the two are radically different in temperament.  Hotaru, while initially coy around those she's unfamiliar with, is quick to make friends.  Perhaps due to her not interacting with as many people as a child her age normally would prior to entering the Digital World, as well as just her youth in general, Hotaru is rather naïve, and is quick to trust any new "friend" she meets.  Though it hasn't steered her wrong yet, it's a constant source of worry for Kazuto.  She generally is also the one who nudges Kazuto into social scenarios, making sure he gets a chance to speak his mind, regardless of his reluctance to do so.  Outgoing almost to a fault, Hotaru is easily the friendliest of the entire party, even beyond FanBeemon and Labramon.

Hotaru, like her brother, is very passionate about making herself stronger and more independent; however, where she differs from Kazuto in this regard is that she wants to be strong for her own sake, rather than just to protect everyone else.  She's by no means inordinately selfish, but she's also well aware that she is the least competent member of the party, due to not possessing a Digimon partner, a Digivice-Armory, or a ZERO-ARMS in any way shape or form; not to mention, after everything Kazuto has done for her over the years, she can't help but feel sad when he pushes himself to do something that they both know he can't do just for her sake, and she wants to ease his burden.

[spoiler=Biography]

Immediately after Hotaru was born, her birth parents put her up for adoption.  She was adopted by a couple who already had another child — an eight year old boy named Kazuto.  From the day she came home, she’s always been attached to her brother (both figuratively and literally), crying whenever he would leave her.  In fact, when their parents rather suddenly up and left when she was still young, she wasn’t terribly upset by it, simply because she still had her brother with her to take care of her.

Over the years, Hotaru has all but forgotten about her parents, while growing ever more attached to her brother; she spends all of her free time with him, playing video games and watching tokusatsu and anime.  In fact, her relationship with her brother is part of the reason she’s in the Digital World to begin with: she was sleeping in Kazuto’s lap when he was transported to the Digital World, bringing her along with him.  She was terrified at first, but she’s managed to stay optimistic thanks to Kazuto and his partner, FanBeemon, protecting her and caring for her.  Little does she know, though, that her own partner is somewhere out there, searching desperately for her…

[spoiler=Misc. Info]

  • Hotaru’s English VA is Cassandra Lee Morris, while her Japanese VA is Aya Suzaki.  She shares this combination of VAs with Elphelt Valentine from Guilty Gear Xrd.
  • Hotaru's insert theme, which she shares with FanBeemon and Kazuto, is Sanbika.

[spoiler=Character Interactions]

[spoiler=Kazuto]

Things have gone by pretty fast ever since Hotaru and I first ended up in this place…Hell, I barely had time to process what happened in the first place when we were suddenly here in front of FanBeemon.  Speaking of FanBeemon, I just…I cannot keep up with that guy.  He’s got so much energy, and he’s always buzzing around, doing something.  He’s always alternating between playing with one of the more cheerful Digimon, and sparring with the more battle-oriented folks.  But he’s a great person — or uh, monster, I guess — to have around; he’s great at keeping up morale, and he can always be counted on for scouting things out and battling.  The best part, though, is how great he is with Hotaru; if for whatever reason I can’t do something for her, he steps up and takes care of it.  And to be honest, I’m glad I have someone like him by my side…He’s like everything I’ve ever wanted to be for Hotaru’s sake, and he’s always there for me.

Ah, where was I, though?  Well, if I’m going to go over everyone, I think Takeru is the next one up.  I feel like, out of all of the other people here, I get along with him the best — don’t give me that face, Hotaru, you know what I mean.  Anyway, he and I are pretty alike…He's almost as introverted as I am, if you can believe that, and we share a lot of similar interests.  He’s definitely more talkative than I am, but that’s not a problem; I think he’s glad he has someone like me to talk with, and I’m just glad he doesn’t think I’m a weirdo.  His partner, Dracomon, meanwhile…Well, I’ve got nothing against the little guy, but I think he’s just too much unlike me for things to work out, were he and I partners...I figure he'd get fed up with me really quickly, given that I'm even less competent than his partner.  But he’s good for FanBeemon; gives him a way to burn off some energy, and he’s been teaching him to be a better fighter in the meantime.

Then I suppose we’d come to Glenn.  Glenn is…He’s a nice guy, and he’s pretty calm, so I don’t have any sort of problems with him, but…He and I are from totally different worlds.  He’s way more outdoorsy, while I can’t even kick a soccer ball…Hey, quit laughing, Hotaru!  Anyway, that and him being kind of a loner has made it difficult to become close with him…All-in-all, he’s a good guy, but I think he wants his space, and I don’t wanna intrude on that.  But Flora, though?  She’s…Interesting.  I don’t wanna say anything bad about her, but…I think she’s the one I have the most difficulty getting on with.  She’s got this air about her that I think she thinks is intimidating, but is really just…Arrogant.  But I think she’s good deep down; at least, FanBeemon seems to think so.

After Glenn and Flora, we met…Yusuke, right?  Yeah, her.  Yusuke’s a nice girl…Even if she doesn’t want to hear anybody saying that about her, least of all me…I’ve got firsthand experience with her reaction to that.  I find it kinda funny that, even though she’s one of the relatively small group of girls among us, she’s way more boyish than I am…Not that that’s a bad thing in any way.  She seems kinda lonely, though…Like she tries to make it seem like she likes being alone, but it’s more of a defense mechanism to keep people from getting too close…Maybe I’m just reading too much into it; I;m really not qualified to think about stuff like that.  Either way, she’s good to have around, she's fare more useful and dependable than I am, and uh…So long as we’re being honest here, I think I’d like to get to know her better…Sh-Shut up, you two!  A-Anyway, her partner Bearmon is up next.  Bearmon is a little slow on the uptake at times, but he makes up for it with how reliable he is, as well as how skilled he is in taking care of everybody…Which is me, more often than not, due to my lack of any sort of physical ability.  When you get right down to it, though, I’d rather have someone dependable who can take care of us in-battle and afterward who might be a brick or two short of a full load than just another me.

Sam is…Difficult.  Not necessarily in a bad way, just…I think he’s hiding something deep down.  I can see it in the way he carries himself: he’s got this cocksure stride and he’s always super confident about everything, but it feels…Well, Flora’s arrogance, while a bit troublesome, you can see where it comes from…But Sam’s just seems hollow, like it’s all an act to distract us from what he’s really thinking...It kinda makes me worry about him.  Again, I’m probably totally wrong about him…And I don't mean any of this like I don't like him; he's a nice guy, and he's always looking out for us...Anyway, on to his partner, Betamon.  Betamon is...I don't know.  He's quiet and reserved a lot of the time, like Takeru and I, and he's also the only one of us who can reliably Digivolve.  He seems like the strong silent type at first, but...I don't know how accurate that is.  Still, from the few conversations we've had, he seems nice enough.  Plus, he's far more dependable than I am, and that's what's important here.

Next up is…Oh.  How could I forget about Eileen?  I’m not even going to try and hide it…That girl is beautiful.  And as much as a certain little someone wants me to come out and say that, I think it’s pretty evident to everyone that I have absolutely no shot with a girl like her.  She’s got an otherworldly confidence, too…She reminds me a lot of Sam in the way she carries herself, really.  Regardless, I’ve been too intimidated to get to know her very well…Her partner, Labramon, on the other hand?  Labramon is really fun to have around.  He’s got energy to burn, just like FanBeemon, and he’s FanBeemon’s go-to playmate when Dracomon isn’t around or is too worn-out already.  Labramon gets along well with Hotaru as well, so that’s another plus.  To be honest, though, I haven’t had much in the way of one-on-one interactions with him…But I’m sure we’d get on well.

I feel like there’s one more…Who am I forgetting?  Oh, Gabe, right!  Gabe’s a nice kid…Real quiet, to the point that I feel like even I might actually talk more than he does.  He seems pretty frail, both physically and emotionally, and he doesn’t always speak up, so I’ve taken it upon myself to just make sure every now and then that he's doing alright...Maybe I'm not the best for the guardian kind of role, seeing as how I can hardly take care of myself, but...I'm not leaving him solely in the care of his partner.  That Tsukaimon with him, named Loki?  I don’t know how on earth those two got partnered up…They’re even more different from eachother than I am from FanBeemon.  I’m not a very confrontational person, so I’m rather ashamed to admit that I yelled at him one time…He was picking on Hotaru, and he almost made her cry.  Still, as troublesome as that little guy can be, he looks out for his partner, so I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for now…

[spoiler=FanBeemon]
Y’know, for a while, I had begun to think that I’d never have a home…Royal Base is broken and corrupted, the woods where I used to fly around have turned into one of those “Hazard Zones,” Kyupimon is…Well, the point is, my whole world changed.  But that was before I met Kazuto and Hotaru.  Man, when I first saw them, they were a sight: his hair was a mess and he had rings under his eyes like a Pandamon, and Hotaru was bawling her eyes out.  Who would’ve thought that I’d get to be as close with them as I am?  Kazuto’s a real nice kid; not nearly fast enough to keep up with me even on his best days, but he’s got heart.  He might not say as much to everyone else, but I can tell he cares about them, and the only thing keeping him from leaping in harm’s way with every fight we encounter, is me telling him I got it.  Hotaru, meanwhile…She doesn’t feel like she’s his sister, really.  She’s way more energetic and cheerful than he is, and she loves playing with all of us Digimon.  She started calling me “FanBii-chan,” and while I wasn’t a fan at first, it kinda grew on me…I can’t say no to that kid.  And more importantly, I can’t let anything happen to her…

Ahem, anyway.  So, there’s that guy Takeru, right?  He’s pretty cool.  Reminds me a lot of Kazuto; aside from Hotaru and I, he’s probably the one he actually talks with the most.  I don’t really interact with him directly a whole lot, but I like him.  His partner, Dracomon, is the best, though.  Dracomon’s super cool, and he’s a really strong fighter…He and I spar every single day, and he’s teaching me how to be an even better fighter.  The only problem is he has a hard time keeping up with my energy, so I tire him out pretty easily…But if I had to pick anybody to have my back in a fight, I’d choose Dracomon any day.

And then next up would be…Glenn?  Glenn’s alright, I guess…I dunno.  He’s kind of a loner, and he’s just as quiet as Kazuto…I don’t really know him all that well, but he likes nature and stuff, which is cool in my book.  His partner, Flora?  Nobody else really seems to like her…Even Kazuto, who’s the nicest guy I know, doesn’t exactly relish interacting with her.  Yeah, she can be a bit…Much, but…There’s something about her…Like, the way she smells, or something…H-Huh?  N-No, I’m not drooling!

A-Anyway, on to Yusuke now, right?  Yusuke’s pretty cool.  She’s energetic, and she’s the most useful of all of the humans in a fight.  She’s really different from the other girl we have her age, and she looks kinda different from her too…I don’t know much about humans in that regard, but apparently she doesn’t like being what’s called “girly,” whatever that means.  All I know is it’s fun to tease Kazuto about her.  Bearmon is…Interesting.  He’s kinda slow-witted, but he’s a good fighter, and that’s a good thing to have around.  He’s also really good at taking care of us when we’re all beat-up…And for every time Kazuto has tripped and fell into a ravine and needed to get patched up, I got blasted by a fireball and needed just as much assistance.

And then we’re onto Sam.  I don’t have a problem with him, but I get the feeling he’s not the biggest fan of Kazuto.  The two of them don’t talk much, and while that’s not a whole lot to say in regards to Kazuto, I get the impression it has less to do with my partner’s awkwardness and more to do with Sam having some sort of problem with him…I might have to look out for him, just in case.  Betamon, meanwhile?  I’m seriously surprised he isn’t Kazuto’s partner.  I guess really the only difference between those two is Betamon isn’t way better in a fight than my partner.  I think he’s only as lazy as he is because he’s saving energy for when he needs to become Seadramon and fight…Man, he is cool when he goes all-out!

Eileen is that other confident human, right?  She’s the other girl…Apparently, she’s really beautiful in human terms.  I can’t really say much in that regard, but apparently Kazuto’s into her, and Hotaru keeps trying to make him talk to her, for whatever reason.  She tries to act all cool and stuff, but I think she’s a lot like Kazuto…Her partner, Labramon, has told me about how she likes to nap and laze about.  Speaking of that pup, he’s the other one I spend a lot of time with, along with Dracomon.  He’s got a lot of energy, but I feel kinda bad when I wear him out too much.  Still, he’s a good guy, and I like to consider him a friend.

And then we have Gabe, yeah?  Gabe’s a good kid.  He’s real shy and stuff, but somehow he struck up something with Kazuto.  Kazuto kinda treats looks after him, and what with how that Tsukaimon of his acts, I figure I oughta help him out, too.  Speaking of Loki, that guy…I mean, he’s always super gung-ho to get into battles, so it’s good to have someone else who’s in for a fight, but he needs to learn to keep his antics to just those battles.  He’s a pain to deal with when we’re not fighting, and on more than one occasion I’ve had to give him a quick sting to keep him in line…

[spoiler=Hotaru]
Kazuto-onii-chan is the best!  He’s so smart and cool and strong and brave, and he takes such good care of me, and he’s my bestest friend in the whole wide world!  I love my Onii-chan.  Oh, oh, and FanBii-chan is great, too!  He didn’t like when I called him that at first, but he got used to it.  Anyway, he’s really fun!  We play a whole lot, and he protects me and takes care of me, just like Onii-chan!  He reminds me a lot of the character Onii-chan played in Digital Hunter, for some reason…But anyway!  FanBii-chan is great to snuggle with at night, ‘cause he’s so fuzzy, and because I don’t have my own Digimon partner, he said he’ll protect me just like he does for Onii-chan.

Umm, who’s next…?  Oh, right, Takeru-kun!  Takkun is a lot like Onii-chan; he’s quiet, too, and he likes the same kinds of games and anime that Onii-chan and I do.  One time, I woke up at night and walked around, and when I came back and snuggled up to who I thought was Onii-chan, it was actually Takkun!  I was embarrassed, but he was nice about it.  Oh, and his partner, Draco-chan?  Draco-chan is super cool!  He’s a real dragon, and he’s strong, and he play-fights with FanBii-chan all the time.  He’s nice to me, too…E-Except that one time when I was petting him, and I touched his ge-ki-rin?  The thing that, when you touch it, he shoots the laser?  Y-Yeah…I still feel bad about that…

And then there’s Glenn-san…He’s nice, I guess.  He and I haven’t talked all that much, cause he’s by himself a whole lot, but I don’t have any sort of problem with him.  I think I saw him picking flowers one time.  His partner, Flora-chan, though?  Don’t tell Onii-chan I know this word, but…She’s a b****.  I don’t like her at all; she’s mean, and bossy…She says she’s a princess, but if I was a princess, I wouldn’t ever act like she does.  Sometimes, I want to let FanBii-chan keep steal her nectar or whatever it is he’s trying to do to her.

Oh, and we have another girl: Yusuke-kun.  She doesn’t like being treated like a girl, so she insisted on me calling her -kun instead of -chan.  She’s really tough and strong, but she’s nice, too, especially when we finally get time to relax.  I hope that, when we get out of here, she and I can stay friends, and she can teach me to be like her…And I’m sure my Onii-chan hopes so, too, hehe~!  Oh, her partner, Kuma-chan (Bearmon)?  He’s kinda lazy, like my Onii-chan, but he can also fight like FanBii-chan does.  I like him because he’s the only one I’m smarter than, so he doesn’t already know my jokes, and I can teach him about stuff.

Hmmm, then there’s Sam-sama.  I don’t talk to him a whole lot, ‘cause I don’t think he likes Onii-chan that much.  He’s super confident and stuff, and he likes to think he’s in charge, so it’s funny to see him mess up.  I don’t mean I want him to do that, though, ‘cause that’s mean…But you know what I mean.  Oh, and I think he’s gay.  He keeps giving some people weird looks, so I think he likes them.  That’s okay, though.  Oh, oh, I almost forgot about Beta-chan!  Beta-chan is just like Onii-chan; he’s quiet, and lazy, but real dependable and a good listener.  Every now and then, if Onii-chan is busy with something, I’ll go sit with Beta-chan, ‘cause it’s like hanging out with Onii-chan.  I’d like to have a partner like him, if I got my own Digimon.

Oooh, and then there’s Elicchi (Eileen)!  Elicchi is soooo pretty!  I keep telling Onii-chan to put all his years playing visual novels to use and go talk to her and confess, but he’s too shy.  Anyway, I haven’t really talked to her too much because Onii-chan won’t go near her, so I’m not good friends with her yet.  But Labramon is fun to play with!  Labra-chan is just like a real dog, and so he likes to run around and play, and then when we’re both tired we snuggle sometimes.  I’m the only one who knows just the right spot to scratch him: right where his back right leg connects to the rest of his body.

Umm, who’s left…?  Oh, right, Gabe-kun.  Gabe-kun is nice.  He talks even less than Onii-chan does, ‘cause he’s real shy, but I like him.  He really doesn’t talk to a lot of people aside from Onii-chan, and even then he doesn’t say a whole lot.  His partner, Loki-chan, though…He’s even worse than Flora-chan.  He’s so mean!  He picks on everybody, and plays mean jokes, and one time he hit me!  That was the maddest I’d ever seen Onii-chan and FanBii-chan…Now he stays away from me, and I’m glad.

Name: Black Garurumon

Gender:  Female

Species:  Garurumon

Partner: N/A

Digivolution Line: Champion

[spoiler=Physical Description]

Rookie Form

Black Garurumon

Compared to Black Gabumon, Black Garurumon is much taller in height and heavier in weight.  She becomes more reliant on four legs now, no longer walking straight up on two legs.  Her fangs are longer, her tails grows, and her overall size is enhanced by roughly double of Gabumon's.  Standard female Black Garurumon.

[spoiler=Personality]

Black Garurumon is very protective, of both friends and family alike.  With that in mind, Black Mother Garurumon is also very friendly.  She is not shy to strangers, and will often approach strangers with intent to befriend them.  With this, she is often naive.  She trusts people and other Digimon quite easily.  She is best described as a pup, because of the playful, excited, and open manner in which she interacts with people.  But Black Mother Garurumon can be aggressive when necessary, not hesitant to defend her friends or family if an incident were to involve them.  Her instincts are sharp, and Mama Garurumon is quick to react.  Even as she grows a bit older each year, she has yet to falter in responsive time to those who need or want her.  With her status as a mother comes a naturally sweet, caring attitude that speaks volumes.  A big heart is usually bound to burst, but Black Garurumon has a heart that beats endlessly, not faltering to hate or discrimination.  As protective as she is, she is merciful in her actions, even moving to spare enemies and make them into allies.  And over the years, Garurumon has developed a sort of "sage" like complex, offering "unspoken" advice to those who approach her.  She will even go as far as to sacrifice days, weeks, and months at a time for those in need.  She endures a lot, as she sometimes has to force her boys to follow her wherever she goes to keep her eyes on them, but this only serves to strengthen her as a pack leader and a trustworthy Digimon.

[spoiler=Bio]

puppies!  Black Garurumon thrives in in the southern region of the digital world, but she loves to explore new places.  But now, with the sudden unraveling of her world, she is constantly on the run for fear of the destruction of herself, and her two Gabumon children.  She has lost friends, and made enemies, as she howls to the night skies in anguish.  This is not helped by the fact that her voice has never developed, and she, unlike her children, can only bark.  While they are able to speak in complete sentences, she relies on her sentence, and change in her barking pattern and pitch to speak with her boys, and others.  This puts her at a distinct disadvantage if she is overrun and unable to call for help.  Now, she seeks refuge wherever she may, searching day in and day out for help to restore balance to her home.  The never ending run has tired her, and she grows weary, often whining herself to sleep.

[spoiler=Sam]

FSkGUZE.png

And now I'm stuck with, well, you.

Name: Samuel Lahônte
Gender: Male, if only barely.
Age: 16
Partner Digimon: Betamon

[spoiler=Core ZERO-ARMS]Chthus a ZERO-ARMS is designed for underwater as well as airborne combat. In its initial state, the weapon takes the form of a single chrome-plated globe with four segmented tendrils sprouting from the rim, with the zenith of the dome fashioned after a slanted eye. The tendrils can be stretched or retracted to moderate distances. In rookie form, Chthus is held against Betamon's underbelly. The tendrils latch on to Betamon's limps, providing better grip on land as well as propulsion while submerged. The rookie level ARMS bears no airborne fighting capabilities.

Chthus's champion form now resembles an armlet, with segmented plating holding it around Seadramon's neck and an eye-shaped dome with four tendrils adorning its rear end. Four limbs still protrude from the weapon, but they take more specialized shapes: two of them have become wings, they can fold into themselves to become tendrils for support on land. The two remaining limbs now bear a blade and a tri-pronged claw. Their design is hydrodinamic and can stretch alongside the armor segments to provide minimum water resistance.

Ultimate form shows very little change in functionality, rather increasing the ARM's power output. The armlet-like segmented armor now adorns MegaSeadramon from head to tail, with the right space in between plates to accomodate the digimon's many fins and the eye-shaped ornament now taking the shape of a green octopus behind MegaSeadramon's neck. The amount of extremities produced by the ARM greatly increases as well; the four tools Chthus provided Seadramon now give place to  ten independent, specialized extremities mounted on the ends of segmented tendrils. Four wings for maneuverability, a blade and claw as well as two cannons which mimic a lower power version of MetalSeadramon's River of Power. The remaining two tendrils coil around MegaSeadramon's horn, enhancing its electric capabilities.

Chthus's mega form retracts into Surfimon's back, where the additional exrtemity count is now reduced to six. The arms are now Chrome Digizoid, four of them equipped to be used as underwater propulsion or for superior mobility in hard terrain when on land. Two of the extremities are large, flexible Digizoid wings which can retract into the ARMS. The remaining four limbs can attach themselves to Surfimon's limbs much the same way they acted with Betamon; their power is on a completely different level in this stage, however.

[spoiler=Physical description]

anime-boy-cool-cute-Favim.com-1251620.jp

The "logged in right as I came from school" outfit. You can see he's not all that pleased with it.

Sam's D-A is navy blue with gray and black screen patterns.

[spoiler=Personality]Samuel brims with confidence. He'll take on anything you throw his way, plus he'll look cool while doing it -that's his life goal. He'll make sure to constantly remind you of it, too, but never too cheerfully or excitedly. He's got to make sure you look up to him, after all.

That's never going to stop him from wondering whether he's doing a good job, though. Below the immediate front of resolve, Sam can't help but think he's constantly about to funk up. As a result of a life of mediocrity and disppointment from his peers and parents alike, he's more often than not pretty sure that in the end he won't be up to par. Hiding his inferiority complex occupies his mind most of the time: he gives his peers less thought than he ought to, in favor of trying to impress them non-stop. As a result, Sam comes off as very dismissive and generally noncaring.

Even in his deep concern for the approval of others, a few things will make him forget his worries and allow him to babble without trying to put on a show.

[spoiler=Biography]Samuel's life at home was never quite fulfilling. No matter what he did, or how many things he did, recognition just never came to him. How would it? Both of his older brothers reknown professionals working abroad, he was just an unfortunate accident. Just a breathing waste of space. His parents made sure to remind him of it, with their actions if not their words. He never got any tech for himself, even though his parents could clearly afford even the most recent innovations.

He was always the neighborhood's loser kid. You know the one, can't do anything as well as the others, can't keep up when something fun comes up, won't take any chances when there's something fun to hack. He'd get mocked, he'd get ignored, he'd get shunned. Those were his worst years; not a day would go by without him deciding he'd much rather live on his own on some island.

Once high school started though, he could be anyone he wanted. He became outspoken and daring, never failing to do anything to get others to like him. It worked well enough, as anyone else would've told him had he asked. As far as his own perception was concerned? Doubt and failure were always just around the corner. He would always struggle with his inferiorities in his head: You tryhard, he'd tell himself; they don't like you, they're just nice enough to allow you a breather. Who would honestly want anything to do with you? You're a loser.

Self-absorbed in his flaws as he was, he really had no time for his classmates. He soon became as distant from his classmates as he fancied himself, further feeding his insecurities.

One day he fancied returning to an old game he used to play in his days of isolation as a kid. The Digital Hunter title screen was just as he remembered. What came after it, not so much. Things went black all around him, his room was gone. Weird colours danced around him, dashed away as though he rode a tunnel. Then, once more, dark. Then really bright. Then... a river giving way to the sea. No tech in sight. What?

He was still wearing his uniform, this place was real. The sand felt real, the salt in the air felt real. He'd heard his name called, that was real too.

Wait, the funk?

"Sam!" said the voice again. "Nice to meet you!"

Then another, mightier voice filled the air, and with it a figure in front of a blue sky pleaded for his help.

Sam and Betamon have travelled together for a month now. They've since come across several other so-called 'tamers', with varying intentions. Samuel has not once refused to help them out with whatever they were working on. Now part of a group with the common goal of helping the figure that had welcomed them into the world, Betamon and Sam have collected a few ZERO-ARMS and made a few friends.

'Friends' being used very loosely, though.

[spoiler=My last name means The Shame - Samuel's thoughts]

Things are working out in this world after all. We're making good progress in gathering people, though if things are as they seem to be we all got here through Digital Hunter. If any adults do show up they'll be even lamer than us. It gets one wondering whether we're fit to survive on our own like we have. I mean yes -we have so far. But we've cut our close ones. How much longer till we trip and go tumbling downhill into the back of the house and back into the locker room and locked in the gym and left all alone and-

No, no. I can make it, we can make it. The crew we've gathered so far ain't exactly the A-team, though there's some good to be made of all of them. Except for Betamon. Critter's in top form already. Never gonna question, never gonna intrude, when in a good mood never even gonna talk at all. The dude just walks along with me and is there for me. Something bothers me? I'm upset? Betamon's there. No judgment, no rebuttals, no advice, he just smiles and lends me his ear and lets me blow my steam away. Sure it would be cool if he talked some, even I know less that the others know about their partners. But the dude is everything I need, so I'll be everything he needs.

We've plenty of quiets to go around, come to think of it. Glenn's fine to have around, if only cause he carries so much stuff in his backback. Sure wish had that kind of skill for putting things inside other things. He should give the earbuds a rest, though, nobody can really get to him if he keeps those on at all times. Don't think we've said a word to each other since we found him and the other kid camping, uh... next to each other? They weren't quite camping together

I'll take a second to appreciate his partner and just how much of a funking hassle it is. Princess fuckin Floramon. Loud, proud, absolutely without a redeeming quality. All that boasting she does about her royal blood would really do jack-squat if a hungry Seadramon looked her in the eye. Gets on my nerves quickly enough to yell at her with enough venom to actually feel vented afterwards. Don't necessarily like showing the others that kinda lack of composure, but what a fuckin jabroni.

Where was I? The quiet ones, right. Now, Takeru, love that dude. I just can't show him! His face is a lot more expressive than he'd like. Teasing him's probably the only way I can be cool about showing empathy. Is it even empathy? He's a stay out of things person, the kind that just gave in to their being overshadowed by those around them. I should show myself more human to him. Drop the tough act and let him know the sidelines can  be outgrown. In private though.

Now his partner Dracomon is an odd basket. Simple minded but good inside. The tendency of solving things through violence I could do without, granted... that said, picking a fight with a 3 feet tall dragon has to be one of the best ways to enjoy breaking character and getting worked up. Wasn't so nice when I got laserbreath burns, but that was on him. T'felt like a moral victory, which was good enough for me. Heheh.

FanBeemon I could race too... if I wanted to be put to shame for everyone to see! What a fast bugger. Looking at him going at it with Dracomon or any of the others makes me break a sweat internally, fuckin christ. I'll never get tired of the irony of his partner's laziness. Wouldn't kill you to move a muscle would it Kazuto? Whenever he's not talking to or about his sister he's a sigh away from falling asleep face first. God knows if I'll have to kidnap his sister for him to snap the funk back into reality. We can get offed in our sleep here.

Who else... oh, there's Yusuke right? Yeah. That's... that's a chick. She's dress the part, at least, not exactly my place to barge into that sort of personal matter with anyone. We've talked but no good's ever really come off those conversations, whenever it wasn't just business she would hardly give me the time of the day. While decidedly not my type... getting tossed aside still stings to be honest. Nothing to be upset about really, though I'll make every effort to get her to loosen up a little. Or else stop looking at me funny. Speaking of which, that Bearmon of hers better stop looking at me period, that blank mindless stare looks right into my soul and can probably read these thoughts like subtitles.

Oh! Oh! The kid with Glenn, Gabe was it? Yeah. Little fellow's in the same pit I was in at home, he even came to us in someone else's shadow. Living completely off someone else's work feels exactly as demeaning as it sounds, and that kid's probably feeling that about now. Someone needs to help him catch a break, get him talking to the others. Totally should stay out sometime and stargaze with him, I've heard him move late at night. Trouble sleeping? Maybe his piece of sheet partner. Whatever name Loki might have chosen for himself, a Tsukaimon's a Tsukaimon. Nothing but malice and a total jabroni personality to go with it. Next time he gets caught pulling a fast one at me or any of us really, there's a Seadramon's mouth with his name on it.

That leaves... Eileen. Why's Elly so much better than the rest of us? She makes me feel inadequate if I'm honest. Looking at her I just... man I wanna give up. Why should I be the tough kid when someone else is just as capable right next to me? I'd be slipping back into old habits, I'd hate myself for it, I definitely can't let her outdo me! Everything with her becomes a competition, one way or another. Whenever she's around, she's all I can think of. I've seen Takeru make eyes at her, so there's that... he gets her attention by doing nothing. Jealous, so jealous. I gotta sit with her and get to know her for real before that whole helping Takeru grow a spine thing.

I've only talked to Labramon once or twice. WHAT A CUTE THING GODDAMN I JUST WANT TO HUG IT. But I can't. Can't be cuddling dogs with a world to save. I've caught him having staredowns with Betamon though, wonder what that's about.

[spoiler=Betamon]

That's us right? We're up? Waaaaah~!

Name: Betamon

Gender: Male
Species: Betamon
Partner: Samuel

[spoiler=Digivolution Line]pukagif.gifb0TnNfN.gifxc87zh3.gifKO0hl5h.gifGae0Qo5.png?1

[spoiler=Physical Description]Just a Betamon man. Seen one, seen them all. He does have one well-hidden scar on his underbelly though.

[spoiler=Personality]The thing about Betamon is his tendency to keep his thoughts to himself a lot of the time. Not like he gives things too much thought or ponders a lot or anything, he's simply not a good conversation starter and not all eager to talk in the first place.

Going to him for conversation is likely to prove much easier than expecting him to come to you. In not being particularly pressed to express his thoughts, Betamon is quite good at listening to others. Be careful with making the conversation about himself though, as he'll close up and become harder to approach if questioned too intently.

Betamon's shyness doesn't stop at words either; unlike his partner, he's not one to quickly spring into action. A lot more on the lazy side, Betamon will help Sam out only reluctantly when the issue at hand is not in some way pressing. He's embarrassed easily enough though, which makes provoking him a simple enough way to get him to do something that needs doing.

While very mild and hard to anger, he's prone to holding grudges if one hits the wrong nerve.

[spoiler=Biography]Betamon won't talk much about his past, and Sam always figured one like him would not have anything particularly relevant to tell. Sam simply assumes he spent his time swimming about in the Digital World without a care. When questioned about the scar, the one time Sam found it, Betamon gave only silence and rapid shifting of his eyes.

[spoiler=Misc info]

[spoiler=Stage fright incarnate - Betamon's thoughts]
What a nice bunch of humans! Good thing I found Sam when I did, things were getting dull even for a guy like me. What I like best about my partner is his impressive drive to be constantly doing something. Where the will or the energy to do that much comes from I'll never know. He can be a bit needy at times, gotta say I'm surprised nobody's picked up on how unstable his emotions are, they even kind of see him as the leader?

We can all tell that's Eileen's job anyway. She's got everything you can ask of a person in charge! She's driven -though I couldn't tell you why, I can say it's not a thirst for recognition like Sam's; she's very concerned with all of her friends and most of all she's capable. She and Labramon can't hit Champion as they see fit, but as far as watching them fight has gone, they make a pretty good team. I can tell Labramon knows and cares for Elly and the rest just as much as she does. If only Sam saw me a little more like a friend and less like a tool that hears you talk... though, to be honest, the kind of extroversion these two have is totally beyond me. I'll just cross stares with Labramon and he'll immediately know I have nothing but a smirk for him; luckily that's enough and he'll return it.

Glenn's steered clear of asking much of any of us, he even actively shuts himself off from us with those ear plug things. Not about to say that's a bad thing really, just makes you a terrible listener. Nothing good can come off distancing himself from the others like that. He really aught to take a while to listen to the nature he says he loves so much instead of covering his ears. At the very least, he should be the one to tend to Floramon's royal-pain-in-the-ass demeanor. Only spite and condescending words come out of her! There's one I wouldn't talk to in a million years. Already having her around makes my insides turn.

Luckily where there are insufferable pricks there's also a ray of hope or two. Takeru for instance. Perfectly civil if a little shy, I get the feeling he's more of a listener like me. Some of the things he says sometimes let his insight show through the cracks and I'm really impressed! With those kind of smarts, the kid should be more involved in deciding our next moves. It's also not the only thing he shows through though, he's got an interest in Elly if what Sam says is right. Personally, now that he told me, it's clear as day. Hanging out with Takeru's pretty chill usually, he reminds me a little of Sam's more embarrassed side. He stays away from me as far as I can see though, so I don't bother him with my presence if I can help it.

Now Dracomon is a different story, both he and FanBeemon should really give it a damn rest sometime! Even Labramon has trouble keeping up with their pace, can you imagine me running around all the time like that? It's good that they're around to keep everyone happy, but they're exhausting just to watch. Neither of them is much of a talker which I can appreciate, it's just... funk, Takeru and Kazuto really gotta step it up too. One is almost passive enough to be called a shadow, the other is always one pillow short of passing out! If Hotaru wasn't around to keep Kazuto awake and FanBeemon occupied, I can't even imagine the kind of hassle they'd be for all of us. Not that I'd say any of this to them, you shouldn't fix what's not broken!

If we're talking broken though, Gabe and Loki take the prize. What a disfunctional pair those two make. Not only would I bite Loki's head off if he turned on us, he himself looks about ready to slam his partner to the ground when he throws a fit. And Gabe? He just takes it. Kid is awfully submissive, I don't think he's ever picked a fight on his own. Just keeps to himself -again, relateable- but he doesn't pay attention either. He's more concerned with our surroundings, usually. Did he pick up that trait from his time with Glenn? He won't say, nor do I feel particularly pressed to know either. Not about to go out of my way to dig my nose in someone else's life.

As for Yusuke and Bearmon, they're not be the nicest or the weirdest. They're just the loudest. Always have an opinion on everything, always a witty retort to follow with snark for no good goddamn reason. I can't really explain the amount of contempt that comes to me whenever either of them talks to or about me. Just... learn to keep to your goddamn selves? I was there when she had that talk with Sam. Didn't go well, honestly they were both incredibly awkward, but at the end of the day it was her who pushed him away and can't seem to get over it.

Though to be fair, getting over things isn't something I'm all that good at.

"It must be tough not being me."

x393wz.jpg

Name: Eileen Sheridan

Gender: Female

Age: 16

x393wz.jpg

Partner Digimon: Labramon

[spoiler=Core ZERO-ARMS]

Karma Claws:

This zero arms takes the form of a pair of claw gauntlet like weapons. Both appear to be made of steel decorated with gold and silver on all the parts that go around the actual hands of the user. The blades appear to be made of light on the right claw and of darkness on the left claw but are both solid to the touch. While both can be used offensively, the light claws are inherently endowed with healing powers for self and allies while the dark claws are inherently endowed with destructive powers. The claws also serve as a judge of both the human and digimon partner and the two forces shift as it gauges their hearts and minds. Positive emotions strengthen the healing and defensive powers as well as allow for light based offensive abilities while negative emotions strengthen the destructive power of the weapon to the point where it will begin to harm the user as well. The weapon while of course more powerful than natural claws allow the user to slightly extend their range with energy based attacks, the size and strength of which grow as the digimon evolves.

Rookie Form: Simple pair of gauntlets, easily removable by the user but comfortably fitting.

Champion Form: Size and strength of the weapon increases and become more fixed in place on the digimon, still possible to remove.

Ultimate Form: Become part of the digimon itself at this point, overriding whatever claws they may have had or producing claws for them if needed.

Mega Form: The claws here become a scale and will cast judgment on the hearts of the digimon using it and the corresponding human partner. A judgment of good results in a manifestation of holy powers able to defend and save while a judgment of evil results in a bestowal of rage and destruction not terminated until the user is devolved or killed.

[spoiler=Personality]

At first glance Eileen would seem like the typical popular kid, overconfident and self-centered, expectant of praise and quick to give out opinions. She's always right and likes to remind people about this. People challenging this fact leads to quick exasperation and anger and will give up on arguments after explaining her thoughts a few times. As she's easily excitable, discussing mutual points of interests with friends can get very high energy very quickly, perhaps a little too much at times not that anyone in the conversation would have it any other way. This also lends itself to Eileen being easily distracted and not being fully aware of problems other people are having. She actually really does care about people and wants to help whenever she can, it might just take a bit for her to realize there's help needed.

Despite this front as one of the cool kids Eileen really doesn't feel connected to many people other than a few close friends and can easily get mildly depressed. When like this all she really feels like doing is sleeping or playing some game to distract herself but she'll push through it to still function in all but the worst cases. This lack of real connections makes her sometimes feel like no one really values her and that there's no point to even speaking her mind on things. This eb and flow of her overall mood is more apparent the closer you are to her.

To those she doesn't know well she puts forth the confident, slightly conceited face and tries to take people under her wing to help them along. Those who are close are the only ones who can really get her to talk about her feelings or help her through the hard times. Overall she's a good kid but struggles with her own feelings about herself. She also has a tendency to be really lazy about everything which doesn't help a lot of the time.

[spoiler=Biography]

Eileen's father is a successful Irish businessman whose company's goal was to optimize healthcare technology around the world. This took him to many places including America, Japan, Germany, even occasionally India and China. As a child Eileen would often accompany her parents to these different countries and would spend time exploring the cultures and places with her mother and siblings while their father worked. As business most often took them to Japan and Germany her parents were sure to instruct her in both languages alongside English while being sure to maintain a healthy Irish accent for speaking english of course. This constant travelling was more intense while Eileen was younger so throughout the time she would have normally been attending elementary school she was "homeschooled" either by her mother or instructors they would hire in the countries they were in.

It wasn't until she turned twelve that she entered the school system in Ireland and at first the social scene of school was difficult for her as she'd never been able to make any friends for long. But by the time she was high school aged she'd become rather popular for a variety of reasons; her looks, artistic abilities and participation in the girl's soccer team to name a few. While she became more popular at school it still never really felt like she was connecting with anyone. Instead of spending time out and about with the people who admired her at school she'd stay home playing various video games, watching shows and reading books. And for the most part she was content to do so.

There was a boy she met named Bryan who quickly became her best friend. It was the first real connection she'd made with someone. Their interests were similar enough but more than that she felt Bryan really understood her. Where everyone just saw the popular girl he saw more. Bryan was the one who got her into the game Digital Hunter which was one of their favorite things to do together. They never really thought of their relationship like they were but many saw them as boyfriend and girlfriend. From here Eileen went on to open up to more people and was really happy.

About a year before Yggdrasil's death would forever shake the internet Bryan and his family moved away and not long after he became quite ill. Eventually Eileen simply lost contact with him and still doesn't know what ever happened to him if he got better or not. This was extremely hard on her and made her close off to the people she'd been really befriending. Her mood swings became worse and she gave up the Digital Hunter game since all it did was remind her of Bryan. As the year passed she tried to forget but never really could. And a night or so before the big crash she got back into the game just to see what had changed. When the site went haywire she was determined to get in and play the game and somehow managed to get in while it was corrupted. Before she knew it a large square of light appeared in her room and sucked her inside. With a scream she hit the ground with a thud not entirely sure what was happening.

As she opened her eyes she saw a dog of all things staring over her and she shot up panicked. The dog didn't look quite normal with blue fur and markings and Eileen had no idea where she even was. Still in a daze she realized the dog was reaching out to her and as it touched her a light shot out from her wrist and she soon saw the D-A in place there. Something felt strange in her head like something had reached out to her but she shook it off and began wondering aloud where she was. To her great alarm the dog actually spoke and told her about his village and something about the Digital World. He introduced himself as Labramon and asked her name. He mentioned something about her being a strange digimon to which she had to tell him she was a human. He seemed to really perk up at that. There was something about Labramon she couldn't quite place though. Somehow she was being reminded of Bryan.

Labramon promised to take care of her while she was there and took her around to meet the other villagers. She met all sorts of amazing looking creatures and while still confused and scared at what had happened, took comfort in the kindness of the digimon there. Labramon prepared a place for her in his own home and the two talked and bonded quickly to the point Eileen who normally feared dogs found herself unable to sleep well at night without him nearby. Somehow she felt safe around him and opened up to him as she spoke of her world and life.

The device around her wrist soon carried Gallantmon's message to her. The digimon of the village couldn't believe Yggdrasil had really died but the state of the world lent credibility to the claim. Not entirely sure what to do or how to go home Eileen decided to listen to the message as it sounded like there would be other humans who might know more. She wanted to ask Labramon to come with her but didn't want to put him in danger. Before she could decide what to say he volunteered to go with her which was comforting. And together the two went off to gather at the designated meeting place.

[spoiler=Misc. Info]

-Has a habit of making lewd jokes despite never having really done anything of that stuff. This includes saying things that would imply some rather risque things with Labramon and that particular joke she does for kicks and to laugh at people's reactions to it since they're just good friends.

-Had a fear of dogs before meeting Labramon. Now it's sort of a fear of non-labramon dogs though not as bad as before.

[spoiler=A Leader's Struggle - Eileen Character Interactions]

Since coming to this strange world I've come across a fair number of other kids who ended up getting stuck here too. They all usually have their own little buddy with them like Labramon too. I've been with them all for a few weeks now and boy let me tell you this kids are lucky I'm around! They'd be totally lost without me to help 'em out... not that I really know what I'm doing either. But that's our secret understand?

Before getting to them I should talk about Labramon a lil bit. He was the first one I met when I got here and he's been so kind to me from the moment we met. I was kind of scared of him at first being a lot like a dog and all but he sure found a way into my heart real quick. He just listened to me talk and sort of freak out for the first while when I was trying to wrap my brain around what happened. And then he helped me through one of my little funks like only Bryan ever had before. That's just the vibe I get from him. I hear the other digimon talk about being made from data of specific people but Labramon didn't seem to know about that or me when I arrived. I can't help but think he was meant for Bryan and somehow I took this chance from him. I mean he knows songs Bryan would listen to without really knowing what they are and it's just really weird. He really likes to snuggle though. And at first it was kinda uncomfortable for me to have him so close but now it feels really good to hold him like that. We get excited together about the same things though he calms down a bit when I need to. I just always want him close by whatever I'm doing. He's really why I can keep a brave face up what with everything that's happening. He plays into my jokes so well too and doesn't always get them and he's just really adorable. I'm really glad that of all the digimon out there I got him to be with me. I hope he knows what he means to me too cuz I'm not great at saying it. Honestly right now if it came down to saving this digital world or keeping Labramon safe I'd go with the latter. Might have to save the world to do that of course.

But anyway as I was saying, this group would be even more lost than they already are without me around. Like take this Takeru kid for example. To be honest I'm impressed I even remembered to mention him right now since he seems to actively try to not be here while still being here. I tried being all buddy-buddy with him but I don't think he liked it. Maybe throwing my arm over his shoulders on top of labramon jumping all over him was a bit much? He's gotta speak up more for sure. The kid's really smart. It hasn't been long but I'm pretty sure he's smarter than me... not that that's very difficult. A-anyway, His partner is Dracomon. Ugh... that little guy is just infuriating sometimes. He talks more than enough for him and Takeru and he thinks he's all that. I'm so glad Labramon's nice, I couldn't stand having that punk with me all the time. As it is just having him in the group's gonna drive mad one day.

I'd come out here thinking I was gonna be the only girl. Everyone I met mentioned the same thing of being on the Digital Hunters game before coming here and I figured that was more a boy thing to be doing. Turns out I was wrong when I met Yusuke. Though does she really count? She sure doesn't act like much of a girl. She's never really been mean to me but also feels kinda out of it sometimes ya know? Not sure how to describe it really. I will admit I kind of admire how brave she is. I was really scared when I first got here and without Labramon helping me out I'd probably still be back at that village wondering what to do. Her partner... Bearmon... that thing ate part of my meal once... there's just no forgiving this. I try to always drops hints about it so he can't ever live it down but I'm not sure what all gets into that head of his.

I've never been super into dating or anything but I've gotta say my hopes were kinda high when I saw this tall-ish kid. But that's about all Kazuto's got going for him in the looks department. Look at me talking about good lookers though. Not like I care. I thought I was lazy but then I met Kazuto. It's gotten to the point where I feel like if I turn my back on him for a minute or more I'll turn around and find him napping. Not that I wouldn't mind doing that myself but there's a time and a place for these things and he's gotta figure that out some. Super nice kid though. Kind of just relaxing to be around which I appreciate. Things get kinda crazy in my head sometimes it's nice to just slow down a bit. His buddy is named Fanbeemon and he's got more energy than Labramon. The two like to play and it gets a little crazy sometimes. Labramon almost always tires out first, it's just that hard to keep up with. Then there's little Hotaru with them. Dunno how Kazuto got his little sister dragged into this but she doesn't seem to have a Digimon with her. She reminds me a lot of my younger siblings and I can't help but miss them a bit when I see her. We haven't talked a lot but she's got a nickname for everyone and she gets along really well with Labramon. I wanna keep her safe but then she's got her brother to handle that.

Not everyone's totally lost of course. You've got Sam who reminds me of me in a lot of the best ways. He's confident, does cool stuff, makes confident decisions, like i said some of my best traits. It's good having someone else around like that so I don't have to do everything. Don't think I gotta worry about him so I can focus on helping the others out. He's got Betamon with him. He's super quiet and I've never really been able to get him to say too much to me. Maybe I don't try hard enough?

I think I worry about Gabe the most. Kid's kinda small and really shy and seems to just struggle a lot. Can't help but feel for him. I think I have this hope he'll eventually get confident or something. I try to encourage him when I can but something seems to be in way of us really becoming good friends... but then there's always something isn't there. HIs partner's actually got a name that isn't his species name. He's called Loki. This thing's trying to redefine the words punk and jerk to me I swear. Not sure how that match was made but it seems like Gabe gets along with him well enough. Labramon's not a fan of Loki much at all and tries to keep him away from me.

I feel like I'm forgetting a couple of us. Hmm, lemme think here... oh right those two. Glenn and Flora. I honestly have no idea what to even think of Glenn at this point. I don't think he's said a single word to me yet. I mean come on even Takeru will speak up to me when I bug him enough. I guess his hair looks cool or something? I don't know, what am I supposed to think about a guy who won't talk to me? Then there's his partner Flora. I only wish she was as quiet as her partner. She's always saying something about being a princess and whether or not that's true she sure fits the bill. She's like the most conceited person... or plant or whatever, I've met and yet she doesn't even do anything to back that up. If she ever grew a spine... plants don't have spines do they, a-anyway I'd maybe consider thinking about possibly taking one of her orders she's so happy to give at that point.

All purple/red colors as shown in the pic are instead a dark blue on this particular labramon and he also has blue ring like markings around the equivalent of the wrist of each paw and around his neck. These rings continue with him through his evolutions. Otherwise looks like the normal example of the species.

[spoiler=Personality]

Labramon is the much more quiet and reserved side of the team and often serves as a control for his partner's enthusiasm and recklessness. Not a fan of large groups, he tends to stay close by good friends and while still contributing and somewhat enjoying himself would prefer smaller groups of close friends. In those smallers settings he's much more excitable and together him and Eileen can get quite out of hand. He's very kind and concerned about people and notices when others are struggling rather quickly. He's a big fan of snuggling and will look for opportunities for it whatever the occasion. If everyone's happy, snuggling is called for, if someone's sad, snuggling is called for, if he's sad snuggling is called for. It's just always called for to him.

Labramon is not one for contention and is quite good at disarming arguments so long as people actually want to not fight. He gets easily frustrated with others for overreacting but never can stay mad at anyone for long without apologizing and trying to help the other person out.  He's very protective, perhaps a little too much, of his close friends and only ever gets mean to keep people he doesn't trust away from them. The fact he's a dog-based digimon shines through with his loyalty to friends, excitement at seeing them and overall capability to love others.

[spoiler=Biography]

Labramon was born in raised in a remote village of beast-like digimon. The village was situated in a small fertile valley amidst a vast mountain range which naturally isolated it from much of the rest of the digital world. On rare occasion a traveller from outside the village would come through and bring tales of the rest of the digital world. A young Labramon thrived on these stories and yearned to learn more about the world for himself. But the village was a safe place and the rest of the world not so and he never felt ready to go.

Labramon's best friend in the village was a Salamon. Playing with her or not was what determined if Labramon had a good day or a bad day. One day they decided to go climb one of the surrounding mountains just to get a look at the rest of the digital world from the summit. It was a common activity for the various digimon and they'd done it before but that day Salamon felt they really need to go do it. Atop the summit a breathtaking view awaited them but something strange happened. As the digital world had begun to become increasingly affected by human activity on the internet a piece of stray data managed to find it's way to that peak. Labramon was able to get Salamon out of it's way but the data made contact with him, changing the color of his purple fur to the blue it is now and giving him the ring markings. He wasn't harmed but something strange seemed to be going on in his mind. There was this concept of a human being and various things they did in there but he had no idea what any of that was. Over time Labramon began to learn things about human culture through other stray bits of data that now seemed attracted to him but never did get an idea of what a human was. He would tell really only Salamon about the things that came into his mind and she was captivated by the stories.

Occasionally however these bits of data interacting with Labramon would have him feeling sick for a day or so. On one such day the weather of the valley was particularly unusual. A group of the villagers including Salamon decided to climb the surrounding mountains to see if they might be able to find out anything as to what was going on. Only one from the group returned saying something had deleted all the others but couldn't explain what before he himself died. Upon recovering the next day Labramon was informed that Salamon had died along with the others and from this point he became much more reserved and quiet instead of openly expressing his sadness. As time went on he gradually came to feel better but never forgot his friend.

Yggdrasil's death shook the entire digital world and while Labramon's village managed to make it through intact the mountains they had always been surrounded by were gone and found themselves vulnerable to the chaos of the situation as with the rest of the digital world. While attempting to help rebuild some of the homes damaged by the events a strange light appeared behind Labramon and a strange creature fell through with a high pitched yell. Turning around he found one of the strangest creatures he'd ever seen. Looking over the creature he was startled as it shot up with a bit of a high pitched scream. It had long red hair that Labramon thought was really pretty. It said something about a dog but the voice was more important to Labramon than what it said. Somehow he heard his friend Salamon in this creature. Almost in disbelief he reached out to touch the creature to make sure it was real. As he did so a light shot out from one of its wrists and Labramon could feel something connecting with his own data.

The two began talking and Labramon found the creature's name was Eileen, which was a strange name for a digimon. But she quickly corrected him stating she was a human. Suddenly he had the object of the strange things he'd felt from the data in front of him and was very excited. Labramon got her introduced to the rest of the village and decided to help take care of her while she was there. The two became very good friends and Labramon couldn't ever shake the feeling that something about Eileen reminded him of Salamon. After Eileen had been in the village a number of days she received a message on her device speaking of somehow saving the digital world and the god of it. Despite not having travelled far from the village all his life, Labramon set out with her to see what help he could provide in this quest.

x393wz.jpg

[spoiler=Misc info]

-Big fan of treats. Easily distracted by them from anyone he's even remotely comfortable around.

-Tends to say things that easily lead into Eileen's jokes, doesn't completely understand human humor but likes making her happy.

-Occasionally gets sick from the stray bits of data that have interacted with him in the past.

[spoiler=Making New Friends - Labramon Character Interactions]

I could have never imagined some of the places and Digimon we'd meet after leaving my village. It's been a crazy experience, even a little overwhelming at times. Glad I have Eileen with me though there's plenty of others we've started travelling with.

Should start with Eileen before anything. She's the best! She's really strong and smart and confident and she's always ready to snuggle with me. We talk a lot on our own especially and there's a lot she'll only tell me and sort of trusts me to keep secret. She should always keep that confidence in herself going because she really is great. But I'm always ready to help her out when she gets sad. Some of the other digimon seem to have known things about their partner before they met and I think I might have too but I'm not sure it was Eileen I was seeing things about. But we're partners now and that's what counts! I'm gonna help her fix things here and be sure she gets back home to her family. They probably really miss her. For now though I'm all she has and we do everything together. Eat, sleep, bathe, run, play, it's a lot of fun. I've gotta keep her safe whatever this journey ahead of us throws our way. She's pretty protective of me too. It's funny how she gets uncomfortable when other people try to hug me or pet me or whatever.

I was expecting to meet a bunch of Digimon but we keep running into more humans like Eileen too. It's pretty exciting to get to know more. But there's all so different from her. Like Takeru who's really quiet. I'm so used to Eileen's energy that I expected him to have a lot too so I kinda jumped all over him when we first met. I don't think he liked it and I had to apologize a lot for it. He's got Dracomon accompanying him. He reminds me of Eileen at least in how he likes arguing. Those two really go at it and I can't ever get them to stop. Then I have to help Eileen out when she's busy sulking afterward. Wish they'd get along already. Or at least just stop the arguing. As for me I don't bother to try and contest much of what he says and if he's trying to show off to me particularly I tend to brush him off.

Humans talk about boys and girls a fair bit. And while I'll admit I've had the idea of being a male in my mind all my life I don't really get what that means since I've never noticed big differences between digimon who I'd call him and others I'd call her. But apparently it's a big deal in humans and Eileen was kind of excited to meet Yusuke. If there's supposed to be differences between boys and girls I certainly haven't figured it out much better after meeting her. She's kinda like Eileen I guess but does that mean all human girls are like Eileen? I like her partner Bearmon. He might be a little slow but he's nice and means well. He accidentally ate something of Eileen's once and I don't think she's forgiven him yet so I kinda have to keep her civil with him.

I really wanna be better friends with Kazuto. He's super relaxed and loves napping almost as much as Eileen does! Though she'd tell you he doesn't know when it's appropriate but I don't think she does either. I think it's cute how she does that. Mostly I appreciate how calm Kazuto is but I don't feel like I've gotten far with getting to know him. It could also be I'm usually distracted by Fanbeemon. Now there's a digimon that likes to play. I've got energy but nothing on him. I feel kinda bad when I get worn out faster and he's still raring to go. They've also got Hotaru with them. She's Kazuto's little sister and she loves to play with me too. She's figured out that spot where my leg kinda starts twitching on it's own and I think she thinks that means I'm really happy. I'd hate to tell her it's more a reflex than anything and it doesn't hurt or anything. Think she's one of the few people Eileen's pretty relaxed with me being around or snuggling with.

Eileen really seems to get along well with Sam. On the outside they seem kinda similar. I don't think she gets it though. She'll tell you he's like her and list off a list of positive traits she sees in herself but I see traces of the sadder side of her in him. I can't be sure but I think he's sad. I wanna ask him if I can help him somehow but he doesn't ever seem to waver. Eileen's an easy read cuz she can't keep up the tough act when she's feeling down. I'm probably worrying too much since I know how it is with her. It's not like all confident humans are sad on the inside or anything. Gotta remember I've only met a few so far. Betamon's his partner digimon and seems a lot more quiet. I'm shy but try to talk and be social where I can. Betamon doesn't do that so much. I feel like we understand each other pretty well without talking very much.

I think Eileen is concerned too much about Gabe. She says he needs help and is too shy but I don't trust him too much. He thinks he's stealthy but I see him on cold nights trying to get close to her. I know what he's really up to. No one gets to touch Eileen unless she touches them first! That's how it works! I've gotta keep an eye on Gabe so he doesn't get any big ideas. Good thing I have two eyes cuz I have to keep the other on his partner Loki. He's a lot more open with his schemes and tricks and I don't like 'em. Someone's gotta keep him in line since Gabe can't seem to. Or maybe he doesn't want to. Shady partners these two.

Then there's Glenn. I think Eileen's mad at him cuz he won't talk to her. She's told me she's used to being approached by boys so maybe she's upset there's one who doesn't seem to want to pay attention to her. I think Glenn's a good guy personally but we don't get to talk much. Usually because any attempt to quickly turns instead into a conversation with Flora. She's says she's a princess from a kingdom I think I heard about once from a traveller who came to my village a long time ago. She seems to be pretty stuck up a lot of the time and can't say I like that too much. Maybe that's just what it's like to be a princess though?

"O-Oy...W-What are you staring at!"

Name: Gabe Orwell

Gender: Male

Age: 15

Partner Digimon: Tsukaimon

[spoiler=Core ZERO-ARMS]

Beelzebub's Band: A dark sentient waist sash that looks silky to the touch, but is actually hard as steel.  The users mind can shape and mold the sash as it can expand into many forms.  While strapped around the waist, the end of the sash can stretch at a maximum of ten feet.  The sash can cut through metal, and catch objects heavier than what the current level of that digimon can lift.  Negative emotions in the surrounding area can feed the sash power, and with enough power it can fire the Satan Shot.  The Satan Shot can do a multitude of things depending on the current level of the digimon wearing the sash is at.

Rookie: A black sash that fits around the waist.  Can extend the end of the sash 10 ft.  Also serves as a type of armor for that specific area of cover.  Satan Shot fires a bolt of dark digi energy.

Champion: The sash, in this form, wraps itself tightly around the user's left arm.  It becomes harder and more metallic, but still retains it's clothy flow.  It can extend itself to wrap around foe's far away and drain life force energy to fuel the host.

Ultimate: The sash moves it's way from the user's arm to the neck area, where it flows behind the user in some sort of phantasm scarf.  The scarf can now grab multiple objects since it has two appendages to use, but the sash is able to transform it's shape at the ends to any object desired by the wearer in metallic scarf form.

Mega: The sash has now transformed from a sash, to a scarf, and finally into a hooded robe.  It covers the wearers body in it's dark red metallic fabric comparable to chrome digizoid.  Attacks of dark nature can be absorbed by the robe and fuel the power of the wearer, depending on how strong of an attack it was.  The whole robe is now able to extend at will like it's previous forms.  After absorbing enough Sinful energy, the user can de-robe itself and turn the cloth into a sword, much like that of the Grey sword, but with the hilt of the head of a Blackwargreymon.  The sword's edge is now jagged and ominous.  The sword can cut through even the purest of lights.

Standing at a mere 5'4" and weighing in at 127 lbs, Gabe is pretty much at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to male statistics.  His frame is also very feminine and he has a strangely curvy figure.  His eyes are a light shade of red, barely almost pink.  His hair is white, but has a peachy tone to it.  Gabe wears tight above ankle cut jeans and a low hanging black tanktop.  above the tank top, he wears a black and white striped hoodie, that he leaves casually zipped halfway.

Gabe is also scrawny, and boasts little to no muscle at all.  His ribs would show if his shirt was lifted, and his stomach is fairly toned and feminine.  His shoes are purple converse, and he wears black ankle cut socks.  He has a few bracelets on his left arm, and a necklace with a silver G dangling from the middle.

Gabe's DA is a dark purple color with Black screen patterns.

[spoiler=Personality]

Gabe is most like people of his size and figure.  He's very shy and hates conflict.  Though he wishes he were tougher, biology looked down upon him as his genes cursed the thought of him being a little over five feet tall.  He didn't hold a grudge against genetics though.  In fact, he never held grudges.  Everything was mainly his fault anyway, so why bother holding something against anything really?  Gabe loves technology and nature, a strange combo to say the least.

Gabe is also very passionate about animals.  Before being transported to the digital world, he had dreams of becoming a respected zoologist who studied the evolution of marsupials.  Gabe tends to be quiet around people.  He'd rather nod his head than contribute to a conversation.  His self-esteem was pretty low, so he's always afraid of being shot down before he even opens his mouth.  So far, his only close friends have been online, where he's free to exaggerate his physical dimensions, and boast a non-existent confidence.  Although when he does speak outside the technoverse, it comes off really soft and high-pitched.  He has a rather feminine voice as well.

[spoiler=Biography]

It was an incredibly beautiful day in the outback the day Gabe was born.  He was brought to his family wrapped snuggly in a tight blue blanket.  His father was so excited to have his first born child, after so many failed attempts beforehand, be a boy.  However, Gabe grew to dislike the things that his father was so excited to show him.  Gabe wasn't a fan of sports, cars, or any other manly things.  He was born into an age of technology that had surpassed the entertainment value of physical exhaustion and leaned towards liking the technological world more than all that man junk.  Technology was a convenient escape from all the annoyances of the outside world.

Not that the outside world was all bad, he lived on a beautiful continent, and loved exploring it.  Gabe was fascinated by the wildlife that only inhabited Australia, and hoped to one day study them.  Kangaroos and Wallaby's were such calm creatures, and he loved the solemn company they provided.  He wasn't much of a talker, and neither were they, and that put a smile on his face.

Sadly, he wasn't able to be glued to his desktop or run freely in the outback all the time.  At school, Gabe was the easy target of unwanted harassment.  His stature and feminine figure gave something for all the taller and manlier kids to give him grief over.  Gabe never fought back, and he never thought about it.  He took the words quite easily, and instead pushed them to the back of his head.  When he finally could go home, he wasn't safe from the name calling.  His father often gave him lectures on how he should work out and try to accomplish something in his life.  Gabe never retorted to his father either, he just nodded at the floor and wished to get back to his computer.

The internet was Gabe's only escape.  He could be anything he wanted there.  When he discovered the world of MMO's and the game Digital Hunter, he was elated.  A game that combined digital animals with the MMO formula.  His avatar was always a gruff looking man, and he acted fairly tough around newbie players.  He had run his own guilds before, and was admired by many.  However, on the day that Digital Hunter crashed, Gabe was sucked into the world which he had been so confident in before, staring at a Tsukaimon.  His nerves gave weigh, as he started crying.  The Tsukaimon promptly smacked him with it's wing and said "Snap out of it kid!"  The digimon explained Gabe's current situation, and he reluctantly tried to rise to the challenge.

[spoiler=Personality]

Tsukaimon is the exact opposite of his holy counterpart, the orange patamon.  Patamon's usually avoid conflict and seek out peace, but your average Tsukaimon can be found fighting anything that is it's own size, and maybe opponents on the slightly larger size as well.  Tsukaimon are also known to hang around other Nightmare Soldier digimon such as DemiDevimon, causing pranks and mischief all arcross the digital world.

This Tsukaimon in general loves to look down on those he thinks are punks or weak.  He has a hatred towards Holy Digimon, and has a stronger hatred towards the Angemon line specifically.  He steals digicandy from In-Training digimon on a day-to-day basis.  He loves to badmouth everyone and everything around him, even his own partner.  He tends to call Gabe "boss" though, even though he doesn't think of Gabe as an equal, more so as a tool to let him become more powerful.

[spoiler=Biography]

Tsukaimon was always nasty from the day he was a Zurumon.  The other Zurumon cowered in fear, as he duked it out with every last one of them to show them that he was in charge.  Of course he was the first of the bunch to digivolve into Pagumon, and naturally the first to enter the rookie level.  He had become the kingpin of Tsukaimon in his hatching class and named his gang the Purple Plague.  He roamed the dark-side of the digital world with his crew, pranking and beating up anything lower than an champion level digimon with sheer numbers.  One day, Tsukaimon decided to test the might of his gang and initiated battle against a MagnaAngemon.  The MagnaAngemon saw no solution but to trap most of the misguided digimon in the Gate of Destiny.  Tsukaimon escaped with his code intact, but his Purple Plague in ruins.

When Gabe appeared, Tsukaimon saw it as an opportunity to rebuild what had been taken from him.

[spoiler=Interactions]

Takeru and Dracomon - Gabe and Takeru are more or less the same personality type, wallflowers.  But when they do talk, on occasion, the conversations are very thought provoking and can lead into a wide spectrum of topics.  Dracomon and Tsukaimon, however, butt heads all the time.  Tsukaimon takes advantage of the poor digimon's gullibility and pulls pranks on him constantly.

Yusuke and Bearmon - Gabe had always been jealous of Yusuke the day they had met.  She was such a strong female, and he was the weakest male in the group.  Although her cheery demeanor helped at times, when they weren't together, Gabe would wish to be like her and cry in frustration.  Tsukaimon likes to pick on Bearmon, like Dracomon, but for different reasons.  He'll often ask bearmon questions he obviously doesn't know the answer to, and make fun of him for being so idiotic.

Kazuto and FanBeemon - Kazuto is the member of the crew that Gabe likes the most.  He is such a calm person, and is always so nice to him.  He doesn't overwhelm Gabe either, since he's usually off napping away from the group.  Although they don't talk, Gabe feels like he's closest with him.  Tsunamon and FanBeemon are always the first to get into a battle with an enemy, charging in haphazardly and usually having to rely on their allies to cover their asses.  FanBeemon is usually the digimon who stops Tsunamon from being such a digijerk towards the others.

Sam and Betamon - Although Sam is always being so cool and admirable, Gabe can't help to think that something sad is hidden behind those eyes, but can't really judge him.  He didn't even know the kid that well.  Even though Gabe admires his flashy style, the two don't talk much since Gabe's cool level isn't even on par with Sam's.  Tsukaimon and Betamon don't get along at all.  Tsukaimon constantly puts him down, and the two have never held a nice conversation.

Eileen and Labramon - Eileen is like a mixture of Sam and Kazuto to Gabe.  If she weren't so high octane while talking amongst the group, maybe they could be a little closer.  For the time being, Gabe has secretly admired Eileen, she was so pretty and strong that he wished he could be like her and Yusuke.  On cold nights, Gabe tries to snuggle closer to her for warmth.  Tsukaimon has been smacked down by Labramon the most, especially when he has tried to pull pranks on either him or Eileen.  Labramon always apologizes with a smile afterwards, but Tsukaimon can't help but scoff and make fun of the dog again.

Glenn and Floramon - Glenn and his partner were the first ones that Gabe had encountered in the digital world.  The two were like silent peas in an even more silent pod.  They got along very well and shared their food their first couple of weeks.  Loki on the other hand hated the fact that Gabe got along so well with another human, and started pulling pranks on Glenn left and right.  It was the first time Gabe stood up to Loki when he told him to quit messing around with his first friend.  Floramon and Loki don't get along to well either, though they don't interact much.  Loki's allergic to digipollen anyway.
