While we're on the topic of support, what kind of weapon would Summoned Skull become? I'm working on Hermos support. Time Wizard is a hammer, Rocket Warrior became a rocket launcher, Queen's Knight became a bow, REBD is a sword, and I turned Aromage Bergamot into a spear.

Claws, perhaps? Might fit well with the monster itself, considering its mainly bone body.

 

Haven't made much progress with my own sets, but I'm getting there. Slowly.

I think I'll go with blue text for ones that I'd want to include (or red text if not, depends on how many base forms we have tbh.)  Green will dictate "on the fence" for one reason or another.

Yeah, my initial thought would've been a spear/polearm, with all its proddy boniness, but maybe some kind of electroshock weapon (stun baton, taser, etc.), or maybe an awl or dagger?  A chain mace with Summoned Skull's head as the mace portion could make a cool picture though.

 

EDIT: Done and done for my "Metal" thread.  Only one that was unsure was the Ancient Gear Metalmorph because we don't have any Ancient Gear spells/traps in here though we do have the monsters.

Alright, I'm either going with Archfiend Voltic Claws, or Lightning Archfiend Flail.

 

I mean, Ryu-Ran is a Normal monster. I can get that in EZPZ. Since the AGG one gets triggered off only the original AGG if I remember correctly, it should be fine.

 

Rocknights are mostly done, surprisingly, thanks to Melon being a good sport about taking on a lot of the burden for Intergaluster S/T support. There are a few cards left to make, notably big bosses in the form of a Level 9 and 10 Synchro, plus a MSF target. I'm also considering a Synchro Tuner, but I don't currently have an Accel Synchro planned.

Next in-club set might be either Windy, X-Gear or something else. But honestly, I have to look through the archetype prompts for stuff I want to do nowadays.

Surprise of all surprises, Rocknight is almost completely done, bar the Fusion I'm desperate to actually make because Miracle Synchro Fusion has all of 5 targets and that needs to be rectified. Of course, given that it's based on 5Ds-era cards, it's going to be a little slow on arrival, so I hope one of you guys likes the archetype enough to add to it once it gets in.

 

Intergaluster is progressing slightly slower, mostly because of the stumbling block that is making unique effects for the Fusions. That said, I'm excited about it, as is Melon from what I've seen.

 

Dark Savers is getting official pack translations, so we're probably going to get it in a month or two, Skyfang Brigade fans. Plus, due to Vampires being in the set, I might finally get a name to translate Vampire Sucker to.

 

The new King of D. is in the AGM, as is his new Dragon revival card! If you like Dragons and running them, you now have a new way to play!

 

To those who want an in to the AGM that isn't based on Deck Challenges, I'm figuring out a way to structure an interesting contest that will catch people up on quirks of the card pool right off the bat! It's in the planning stages, but it might replace the "build an archetype" challenges entirely if I get it working.

As long as we remember not to add in De-Synchro or make an equivalent, I'm fine with these coming in.  With De-Synchro and the Rock Support we've got in here, these could become dangerously adept at running like a more consistent Karakuri OTK.

Also, b/c they kinda remind me of my ol' Clayborne stuff but with Synchros instead of Fusions.

We're a format with 2 Launcher and 2 Archfiend for Infernities. De-Synchro was never an option. Never forget that I've been playing the game since day 1- I fought Goats, I fought Gladiator Beasts, I fought DandyDoppel, I fought HAT, I fought Zoo. I know what bullshit happens when you give an archetype infinite tag-out ability- it's why all the Logicangels can only be Summoned by each other's effects once per turn, and can't tag out into other copies of themselves.

I'd just like to add to this post and point out that every "outside" archetype I've made thus far, bar D-Order, is just about free to add to for anyone in the group if any of you want to make one more competitive/versatile. There are a few minor rules (unless you want to put forth the effort to make 23 more of them for Pendulums, or find a god that bowed to a sorcerer for a Divine-Beast-Type, Spellbounds are pretty much complete monster-wise; keep flavor in mind for Tareya and Vigilizards; if you leave an EXP Counter effect off a GameChild I will cut you), but beyond that your Legacy threads can do just about anything with them. This includes the random Generics series I've made, like the "Soul Puppet" Trap monsters, "Wiretug" FLIP Cyberse, "Darts Blasters" (based on Sawatari's Darts Shooters), Dragonna-bugeisha and her friends/servants, etc.

New month, new Deck Challenge!

 

The Ides of March bring with them rebirth and new light- just like the AGM itself! Your Deck cannot contain any cards not made by a current AGM member! However, bonus points will be awarded for creativity, or for using Numerix-031: The Marching Tide!

 

To clarify, this means that Jackbots, Dunham Puppets, and the like are barred because the creators of those archetypes are no longer members. However, "outside" archetypes made by AGM members (my Vigilizards and Rocknights, Dova's Akkedis and New Order stuff, Tinkerer's Wanderlust and Metal cards, etc) are acceptable, as are generics that get claimed by a current member. If you're not 100% sure, don't hesitate to ask who made a thing. Also, AGM members who want to participate, don't even touch things you made. That should shake things up.

(You may want to compile a list of which ones are out because creators are gone, though it'll be a long list. I know that includes MetalSonic, Gadjiltron, Yuuji [from cleaning] and some others who I can't remember names of.)

 

I'll make a note about my ZPD and Psychic Dragon stuff being viable for legacy support if any of you guys want to [or used for this month's challenge]. But yeah, stuff I made can be found in signature under my created cards stuff [and have the AGM tag]. 

 

Project-wise, yeah. Still looking around while balancing out MR4 and my life.

Alright, I'll remove Garland from the OP, but that does invalidate Buster Blader Platoon as an option for the March challenge.

 

If anyone feels like it, I did think of statlines for Level 11 and 12 Rocknight Synchros- 4000/3300 and 4500/3800, the latter likely requiring the Rocknight Synchro Tuner by name.

Hm.

 

The issue is that the people who aggressively dislike ABC are very vocal about it, so I'm curious if any of those are in here, and could explain their reasons as to why. Otherwise, I have a lot of fun playing the Deck, and occasionally running an A-to-Z variant for shits and giggles, so I'd love to add them.

Most of my really good Union support is reliant on the name of another card being in the card text, so ABC can't abuse it.

 

I'm honestly curious on how the people who will try it will attempt the March Challenge. Most staples are Konami cards, you practically can't run a lot of Fusion Decks, losing Terraforming is going to hurt a lot of Field Spell reliant Decks unless you run fodder for Yollohcoatl Lines . . .
