As far as group stuff, due to Sleepy doing nothing and Kyumi's continued absence, they'll be the only members I won't be asking Yui to shuffle in the Secret Santa thing (and I need to remember to put Tinkerer back, due to his quitting then returning . . . uhh), so you might want to disregard them as well, but yeah, that list is accurate.

Also, updated banlist, accounting for erratas, recently made AGM cards, and duckmothering Kirin.

Sorry about the votes, just thought I would comment in. Also, congrats Dova on the project completion. Also, thanks for the like on my new Ravenituals. Does this mean they are now added? Is that counted as a vote or not? Still new to this.

AGM prompt archetypes are added automatically, however, broken interactions or ridiculous oversights must be rectified if caught by another member.

Just to clarify; votes are only need when adding non-AGM archetypes, whether custom or official. All AGM archetypes made by members are always added to the pool unless another member raises concerns.

The like was just because I liked what you had from a brief look :P I'll post some cnc later.

Garbalords should be okay for submission.

Gomen, my fault. However, I may leave that one to someone whose head is better dsuited for that. I'm too much of a creator, so I'll stick to the challenge I already called. And I already have my target for the cards, it's gonna be neat... hopefully.

Just do whichever way you find easier to get into the club. Then again, I'd like to remind you guys that CC does have its own Deck section so if you find it easier to do the Deck challenges in there, go ahead. (That's what it's there for.)

Oh right, and make sure you guys keep the archetype game running somewhat.

I've tried to write a prompt for Card-o-matic like five times, then gone and realized "wait, this is a bad idea" halfway through the attempt. It's not a prompt that lends itself well to anything that carries the gimmicky, playful property that my prompts usually have underneath all that "here's what the archetype is good and bad at".

It took me looking at the archetype list to realize just how many archetypes I've created for the AGM (it's over 40 at this point), and that makes me wonder how I ever had the time to design a lot of the positively immense older ones.

Might help if you try not to go overboard with the details/gimmicks, considering you do have to make the card based on the specs now. You only need write 40 words minimum, so no need to go crazy. (Hopefully it doesn't kill the game, but then again, I did say that once thread got moved over, you'd have to make a sample card.)

But yeah, you do you.

Well, those Gifts are now comfortably in the OP!

Frigates are chugging along, with the only real issue being actively naming them. Their Rank-Across-Magics, in order to give them value separate from just being targeting protection and boss switching, each carry a side effect. The three I've made so far are one that negates a card on board at resolution, one that eats a card out of your opponent's Graveyard, and one that functions as an OTK or cleaning tool.

Made a couple gift cards for Nyx and Sakura: https://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/375291-some-agm-gifts-written/

Hope you like 'em!

I appreciate the gesture! Thanks, man!

Also, after what seemed like forever, I FINALLY made another set for AGM:

Introducing Emissary!

I saw the thread after checking place briefly on computer in Best Buy. So yeah, thanks Tinkerer.

But yeah, gotta find new project, though upper division courses and the like aren't kind (and keeping up with the current game also has its issues for AGM in some capacity).

Also reviewed Nyx's Link thread.

So, little note about interactions, given that Konami has just made support for Neos after I did a support lineup of reasonable strength. Specifically, I'd like to talk about how Neos actually has a reasonable win condition now: Cosmo Neos.

I know what you're saying- it's a 4-mat super fusion monstrosity. How is it a reasonable win condition? Well, given how NEXT is a Trap, it can easily be activated on your opponent's turn, and given Graveyard setup (which isn't actually that hard), you can revive 3 Neo-Spacians basically whenever, and Deep Neo Space is an Eternal Soul for Neos. However, the real meat of this is obviously Contact Soul, a searchable Continuous Spell that can, once per opponent's turn, let you Contact Fuse Neos Fusions as a Quick Effect. With proper setup, NEXT+Contact Soul is an off button for your opponent's entire turn (no effects, then Raigeki+Feather Duster during the End Phase, which also searches 2 cards if Deep Neo Space is on the field- one on-Summon, and one when Cosmo Neos goes home). If you used Cosmic Neos (whoo, just barely missed needing a name change), you get a free Neos out of the deal, as well; a 2500 vanilla to smack a helpless opponent with during your next turn.

Given that it does require setup, there won't be any list hits yet, but I'd like to point out that particular play.

Also the fact that I did make actually good Neo-Spacians for Main Deck so not forced to use the original 6 outside Dolphin/Mole to go into it. Uh yeah, and new Fusion card (from Konami).

Then again, someone did make one that requires 4 Neo-Spacians, but leaving that for you guys to grade outside the club.

You know what, yeah. No one is going to do the September Deck challenge, and besides . . . the October Deck Challenge is one I've been waiting for. Like, if I get enough free time, I'll post an appropriate list.

Note that my sig only gets Deck Challenge and Coded Challenge updates- the CC ones get hidden in here.

October

Happy birthday, Kaiba! That's right, everyone's favorite rich boy has a canon birthday in October fifth, and to celebrate, we're going to dedicate this month's challenge to the anime! All cards in this challenge must A) originate from the show, B) belong to archetypes/series that saw play on the show (for example, even though Kaito never Summoned it in the series, you can use Cipher Blade Dragon), or C) be AGM imaginings for cards that never saw print (Service Soul, Salvation from the Grave, and Duel Gates being prominent examples). Feel free to blend cards and strategies at will!

Here's a list I've made, which is by no means all AGM cards that qualify:

Key:

(1) This archetype is missing 1 or more relevant cards from its support lineup in the real game. If you intend on using said archetype, feel free to ask which cards aren't in.

(2) This archetype has very potent AGM-specific support cards, either in the Generics thread or in the Legacy threads created by one or more members. Do not hesitate to check.

(3) Out of fairness, pure variants of this archetype, or blends of archetypes marked this way, will not be accepted; you'd practically win by default given my consistency/power/effectiveness grading criteria, almost enough to ignore anime accuracy.

Italics: This card/archetype does not exist in the TCG, and was created using a slightly altered version of its anime effects. New support, which does not come from its anime appearance, may have been made.

...Considering the challenge is what it is, I would like to add an alternative deck challenge for the month that fits somewhat under Draco's October theme.  Though I'm mostly offering it because Kaiba.

Challenge:

[spoiler=Build a "Rai-Jinn King Kaiser with Eyes of Blue" turbo deck]

Rai-Jinn King Kaiser with Eyes of Blue
EARTH - Level 9 - Spellcaster/Fusion/Effect - 3000/1800
"Blue-Eyes White Dragon" + "La Jinn the Mystical Genie of the Lamp" + "Lord of D." + "Rude Kaiser"
Must first be Fusion Summoned using at least 2 of the above Fusion Material monsters. If this card was Fusion Summoned using 3 Fusion Materials: you can destroy up to 1 Monster and 1 Spell/Trap card your opponent controls. If this card is Fusion Summoned using 4 Fusion Materials: banish all cards your opponent controls. Your opponent must discard 1 card to activate monster effects. If this card would be destroyed (by battle or card effect): you can banish 1 of the listed Fusion Material monsters from your Graveyard instead, also, this card gains 200 ATK and DEF.

The deck must contain at least 1 copy of all four fusion materials.  Only AGM cards allowed.

However, because of the specificity of the challenge: 10k point reward.

My next project is gonna be Error Arrows.

A series of Quick-Play Spells and Normal Traps that can redirect the targets of various effects with a single target, often altering it such that the opponent can become subject to their own effects. Banishing several of them from the Graveyard will bring forth their ace monster which can repeatedly change targets.

I've written several of 'em so far so I should have 'em up later today.
