Flash Flyer - Sakura
Let's see, this card's purpose is more/less to get Clear Wing out quickly, albeit at the cost of its attack or effect activation that turn.Being immune to Castel and CyDra Infinity is nice though, among other common threats. Although it does give Level 5 Decks a free revivable 2.5k beater for not much cost (something that they normally would not be able to make), so it concerns me that this card enables that. Then, there's the issue with this being a soft OPT; I'd change this to hard OPT, so it doesn't prove abusive. The idea is nice, but making this card a pseudo-"Rank Up" for Clear Wing Synchro Dragon" is somewhat iffy.

I should make sure that you can't do the same with 2 of these...Yikes...
Darj
Not a fan of this card. With the last effect it's just a ladder into Clear Wing Dragon, effectively granting decks that mostly Summon Synchro5s access to this monster. Also, those 2 extra Levels could be used by Synchrocentric decks to ladder into a bigger Synchro(s). But I find the first effect more concerning. It's essentially a free Clear Wing Dragon once this hits the grave; you can even send this card directly from the Extra Deck to the grave, with Kaleidoscope (Summon Nekroz of Catastor), Mega Zaborg, or you can be silly with Gale Dogra, and then use this second effect. It can be abused by Synchrocentric decks as well: make this, use it as Synchro material, then use its second effect to Summon Clear Wing Dragon out of nowhere. Personally, I suggest to scrap the "Summon Clear Wing Dragon from the Extra Deck" effects and go for an attack boost effect or something else that remains flavorful with Clear Wing Dragon; The protection effect looks good but an additional effect wouldn't hurt in my opinion, as long as it's not as overwhelming. EDIT:Or if you want to keep the floating gimmick, at least make it trigger when the monster is destroyed or sent to the grave by an opponent's card effect, similar to cyber dragon nova.
