"Well, there are the hotels. However, I'm not sure if you could afford them."

"The cheapest is probably the Azure Rose Hotel, but it's still...pretty expensive."

Randy sighed a bit, rubbing his chin some. What to do? They had a couple options in front of them...one they could explore...on the other hand, wait for exploration and just prepare to get some rest, or at least establish themselves into a hotel.

"uh, how much money do you guys have? I, uh, don't have a lot on me."

The Incineroar Gijinka only smirked with a chuckle. "I'll take care of it, Marie." he said, hitting his chest with a closed fist. "I think I might have just enough. And if not...hehe, well they always have the honor of housing a pro wrestler."

He started walking with the others, only casually noticing that Keanu was being eyed by all the ladies. The sly little Pikachu...soooooo lucky.

"Hehehe..." Randy smirked, nudging the Pikachu Gijinka slightly. "Seems like your quite the catch for most of the ladies, Keanu. Should've mentioned your a lady killer before." he joked, before putting his hands in his pockets. "So...Adraid...sounds like an interesting place. Though wasn't expecting some sort of brigade try and handle the stuff on the beach. Think their officers, aye?"

Of course, this could be answered later...right now...he needed to know one thing.

"So...what hotel are we staying at for the night?"

Fawkes was eventually guided by one of the crew members - and for the better; in her groggy state, Fawkes wouldn't be getting far on her own - to a table with chairs and food. The food was...underwhelming. Fawkes wasn't exactly expecting a five-star continental breakfast or anything, but the bread was hard, the peas were dry, and she wasn't really sure how to feel about salt pork with Brooke sitting right there. Even so, Fawkes picked at her food slowly but steadily. Each bite brought her a bit more to the waking world, but it would still be some time before she was fully up and at 'em.

"The trip'll be a long one, lad and lasses, sorry to say. If we have fair weather it'll be 9 days till we reach the city. If we reach it that is, there's whirlpools near that city last I heard."

"Mkay," Fawkes muttered sleepily. "Then just avoid the...huh?" Fawkes blinked a few times. The realization of what the captain had just said seemed to wake her up right quick. "Whirlpools!? That's pretty dangerous to be sailing around isn't it?" Glancing around to the rest of the party, Fawkes asked "We're all sure we really want to go to Mioter? Not somewhere else?"

"You're...weak. No choice? That's what you think? There's always a choice...Fine, go, run, next time we meet though...I'm beating you down, be ready for it!"

"I look forward to it." Kah responded. She's still in over her head, but at least she's got the idea. I hope she can convince the others to get strong as well.

"Do you truly chase death so readily? It's a shame to waste a life like that. Especially that of a lady. We are not murderers, right, Cobalion, none of us wish for death."

"But none of us wish to let such a thing go unpunished either."

"You claim you were asked to do this. Was it those Salamence? If so would it not have made more sense to plan more? No, there's someone else, who?"

"I'd like to answer that question, but I still don't know if I'm dealing with the type of person who would kill me for letting that slip." Looking over the Swords assembled near her, Kah continued "She could probably take on the three of you too. Not sure about all three of you together since the only Godslayers I've seen in action were the twins, and maybe that bug freak. It's definitely not the living twin though; I want him dead just as much as you three. He's a disgrace in the face of dragonhood. I was actually planning on dealing with him after Latias was dead, but he's probably long gone by now." Kah took a short break in her answer to glance around at the area around her and the Swords. For all she knew, that freak of a Gardevoir was nearby. With the direction this was going right now, Kah was starting to hope that was the case. Hoping to see a Fairy-type was an odd feeling to Kah.

Oi, woman. If you're out there, now might be a good time to show yourself. Got three legends rounded up right here.

"Bottom line," Kah concluded, "I'm not about to risk my life by answering that."

"You really don't even care do you?" Mac said to Kah. Kazo looked over to the small girl. He didn't think about it, but she really was quiet this whole time. And now, she was letting loose. "You're...weak." She said, angrily. "No choice? That's what you think? There's always a choice...Fine, go, run, next time we meet though...I'm beating you down, be ready for it!" She turned away and then went to Latias. "Um...sorry." She cringed. Wow, just wow Mac, that's not doing a good job at all.

Latias shook her head, however. "It isn't your fault. It's as you said there's always a choice...Latios made his." She smiled a weak smile. "My choice now is to stay strong." Kazo had to smile lightly. He was glad she decided to keep going. She then floated close to Kazo. Somehow, despite him losing so much blood, he managed to blush. "You fought so hard...thank you." She leaned down and kissed his cheek. Kazo's entire face turned a bright red, his heart thumping as she did this. She then began to glow, and Kazo felt himself being healed, the bleeding stopping. She then fell over, looking drained of energy. Kazo bent over, checking on her quickly. She was okay, that was good. Kah said something about being unable to speak about who told her to do this. He stood up, stretching to himself.

"Yeah, that jabroni is somehow worse than you. I'm not connecting the dots on your logic there," He stated as Kah mentioned she wanted to kill the Salamance. "And the Godslayers are just going to welcome you with open arms! Yeah, right. Admit it, you're burned all your bridges and have no way out now," Man, he was really angry. He looked over to Suiten. "So, um... you k-know them, Suiten?" Kazo felt kinda meek again as he motioned to the three legends standing before them.

Denku watched as he saw Dora flop on the ground. And then try to get up, flopping like a fish.

"Mornings are very difficult." She said, trying to sound wise and sagely. With a sigh, he walked over, helping her up and dusting her off.

"If you need help, just ask for it, kiddo," He told her as he then walked off. They were led to a table, filled with simple, hard bread, dried peas, and salt pork. It was a step down from a feast from the den of lions, but it liked it more. It filled him with a warm feeling...

"The trip'll be a long one, lad and lasses, sorry to say. If we have fair weather it'll be 9 days till we reach the city. If we reach it that is, there's whirlpools near that city last I heard." The captain stated.

"Kid's cautious. A good trait to have... but... what kind of childhood did she have?" Denku reached over and rubbed her head. "Hey, don't worry about it. You got to have some faith in people. And if anything goes wrong, well, you got Brooke, Easter, and I to protect you," He said before eating again.

As the trio of mercenaries eventually left the group to their own devices, the group had started to walk across the beach. While Marie was none too confident in her financial ability, it seemed that Randy figured that he could pay for their hotel room. Granted, while he figured that he could probably use his celebrity status to get them a place, she had recalled that she didn't actually know he was in the wrestling scene. As such, now that they were on a different continent, she wasn't hopeful that he would be all that well known. Nevertheless, not wanting to burst his bubble, Martie smiled and said, "alright Randy, I'll leave it to you."

As the group continued on the beach, Randy had eventually noticed that Keanu was garnering attention from others, and made note of how he was apparently a 'lady killer.' Marie's face became momentarily disgusted at the term and just said, "um, ew." Walking along, Marie eventually heard Randy talk about Adarid to which she said, "yeah, I never learned anything really about Adarid. But, this certainly wasn't where I was expecting to end up." When the officers were mentioned, Marie simply pouted and said, "well if they were, then they should learn to be a bit more polite. If they're the law then they need to be setting a good example, right?" As the continued to walk across the beach, Marie then answered the Incineroar's next question by saying, "well, we should probably go that uh, um," Marie tried to recall the name that the water type had said. "Uh, he 'Ashore Rose' or something. After all, we don't need to be spending all our money on some place for a night here."

Ari was...frustrated. It seemed like Kah hadn't even listened to what he had said. Was he really that weak? That nobody would even give his words the time of day? The lion cub clenched his fists. What would it take to get stronger? Strong enough to protect everybody? Strong enough for people to listen to him like his father? Because as it was now, he was useless. Why was all of this happening? He just wanted to be brave and strong, but now everything had just exploded in his face. Regirock had died, Latios as well, and Kah...Kah was leaving.

He could hear everybody else speaking, but none of it reached his ears. He just wanted to curl up into a ball...he wanted his dad. This was...too much. Unbidden, tears started to drip from his eyes again.

Suiten, meanwhile, felt his ire growing by the minute. He gripped his sword hilt angrily, wanting to stab something right about now. Kah's face would do nicely. The traitorous Hydreigon had made her choice. It was obvious that nothing they would say would change her mind. It was useless talking to her any longer.

The trio of legendaries questioned her, but her reply was frustratingly vague. This only served to heighten his anger. No, he had to stay calm. He had to stay calm. He. Had. To. Stay. Calm. Calm. CalmBreathe, he thought. Remember the exercises. He had always been a hothead in the past, and honestly, that hadn't changed much. He just had better control over it now.

"Yeah, that jabroni is somehow worse than you. I'm not connecting the dots on your logic there," Kazo stated. "And the Godslayers are just going to welcome you with open arms! Yeah, right. Admit it, you're burned all your bridges and have no way out now." He looked over to Suiten. "So, um... you k-know them, Suiten?" The Gabite motioned to the three legends standing before them.

"Well enough," the Samurott muttered through sugar cube teeth. It wasn't fair to take his anger out on this dragon. "They are my friends. I had thought to count this Hydreigon among them as well, but...apparently that was not the case." Fury mixed with betrayal in his eyes as he stared at the dark dragon challengingly. "She has chosen the side of the murderers."

Easter felt his expression get a bit manic as he continued on, memories assaulting him with each step he took in the swaying boat. Ahh...I really want to kill something right about now, he thought, whistling cheerfully as he walked down the corridor. Or eat something. I suppose that's the more civilized of the two options. He chuckled. He could hear Denku's annoyed grumble from behind him. He felt a bit amused that nobody had chosen to sleep in his room. They had good instincts.

Eventually a crew member popped out of the woodwork, offering to guide him down to the galley. Curtsying playfully, Easter followed, and if he clung a bit too closely to him, it was because the man looked oh so adorable when he blushed like that. By the time they reached the place, the crew member looked highly relieved to be free of his escort duty, causing the Sylveon to snicker internally.

The food was simple, but that wasn't surprising. He was disappointed at the lack of sweets, but promptly remembered the cherry popsicle in his bag, still wrapped up. It was still nice and cold, so he licked at it distractedly as the captain talked, nibbling on a slice of bread every so often.

"The trip'll be a long one, lad and lasses, sorry to say. If we have fair weather it'll be 9 days till we reach the city. If we reach it that is, there's whirlpools near that city last I heard."

This caused Fawkes to start awake, glancing around with panic at the group. "We're all sure we really want to go to Mioter? Not somewhere else?"

Denku reached over and rubbed her head. "Hey, don't worry about it. You got to have some faith in people. And if anything goes wrong, well, you got Brooke, Easter, and I to protect you," He said before eating again.

Easter glanced at him with some mirth. What a hero. Then his mind shifted to the subject at hand. For some reason, he felt like he had heard about this before, but that couldn't be it. Mioter was one of the few cities he hadn't visited. Skuldafn was another. He'd been driven off with rocks before he could even put one foot inside. Bunch of cowards, he thought. Maybe he could go in disguise? An Altaria could work, perhaps, or a shiny Dragonair. Food for thought.

Still, he had better say something to comfort the kit. "You're safe with us, Fawkes," he reassured. He considered pointing out that Dora was a water type and could probably be of some assistance if it came to it, but then again, that might just make the poor fox even more worried. Honestly, he wouldn't blame her.

"Ah, but it is in my opinion that you, who put your dearest in a pedestal worthy of Arceus themselves, would need to listen to what I have in mind..." he rambled on in this manner for quite a while.

Yuffie blinked for a moment, trying to decipher this bizarre man's words. Eventually, she figured it out. "Waaait...are you saying that I'm exaggerating?" she scowled. "You only say that because you haven't met her yet! Such a gorgeous specimen of perfection. My words cannot do her form justice!" her voice got higher-pitched as she spoke. "You are the one that does not understand! And if you're so suspicious, then why should I even trust what you say?!"

"Veronica? Now that you mention it..." the Scizor, Scarlet, spoke up at that point. "She's a pink Crobat, right? I think we've met this Veronica of yours back in Deku. She was investigating the...incident" She grit her teeth, before awkwardly coughing. "T-That was 4 days ago though. Although, she did say that we might see her at Juyu." She shrugged. "We haven't seen her since, though."

"Oh, by the gods themselves!" Yuffie did an about-face, holding her hands up to her mouth. "I-I, this is, this is too sudden, ah me, oh my!" she swooned. "And she actually revealed herself to you? Lowered herself to talk to you? How...amazing!" she squealed.

"Geez Red...your memory is better than mine.  All bat gijinka look the same to me."  The Sharpedo said, snickering a tad.  She then looked to Yuffie with a glare that could paralyze a ground type.  "So...that means you ain't heading to Ice Crown with us, right?  I ain't fond of sharing treasure..."  She started poking at the Fletchling's chest.  "Better for you to skedaddle anyways, buster...I get hungry on long journeys pretty easily."  She licked her fangs, while wearing a vicious smile.

And of course, the suspicious mister from earlier had to open his big fat beak. "Four days? Goodness gracious, that's ages ago! For us travelers, she would possibily anywhere at this point..." he then expanded on all the different situations her dove could have gotten into.

"SHEESH~!  Let's get the lead out of our feet then...I'm ready for some treasure huntin'! FUFUFUFU!"

"With that attitude the only thing that would get hunted is your ass. But nevermind that, she's right. Let's get going."

"You have your answer, goodbye."

The Fletchling hunched her shoulders, intimidated and frantic at being left behind while on the cusp of discovery, before shaking her head. "N-no, if my darling showed herself to you, then that must mean you're special. I knew I was on the right track with you! No way I'm leaving you now!" She trailed the group until they came across a Dragonite, and...her.

"Oh no. People." Isole said. She then gestured towards the Dragonite. "That's the one who is going to help us get to Icecrown...they seem...busy."

Yuffie wasn't paying attention. "I-i-i-it's her!" overcome with emotion, she fainted dead away on the spot.

Meanwhile, Veronica was in the midst of a conversation with the helpful mail carrier Dragonite. "So you do not know of any exceptional gijinka in the area aside from the sheriff? I heard she was heavily injured." She tipped her head in thought. "I might have to...pay her a visit." She looked up as the group approached, just in time to catch sight of the overexcited Fletchling. "Oh no," the Crobat's words unknowingly echoed Isole's just then. "My thanks for your assistance," she dismissed the Dragonite with a regal nod.

The gijinka turned to face the group, seeming to struggle with herself as she gazed at the fainted bird, before finally speaking. "A pleasant day to you again," she greeted highhandedly, glancing at Tianzi with a hint of curiosity before continuing. "I am afraid I do not know your face, good sir, but I do know your company. You are in dependable hands." She glanced at Scarlet, a small smile lighting up her face, before returning her attention to the group as a whole. "I must ask, do any of you know where I might find a gijinka of a rather lively bearing? She would be one that...stands out from the common rabble, per se. You might have seen her gracing the stages, dazzling the crowds with her voice or movements."

Marie seemed like she wanted to explore more, to which Keanu shrugged. He was fine with whatever. As they walked, the young man noticed that he had drawn some interest from several young ladies. He waved at a couple cuter ones, grinning lazily.

"Hehehe..." Randy smirked, nudging the Pikachu Gijinka slightly. "Seems like you're quite the catch for most of the ladies, Keanu. Should've mentioned you're a lady killer before." he joked, before putting his hands in his pockets.

Keanu grinned back. "What can I say? It's the Pikachu charm." Most Pikachu seemed to be super popular. It was probably the perfectly round cheeks. Or the ears. He then rolled his eyes at Marie's disgust. "To be young and innocent again," he joked.

"So...Adarid...sounds like an interesting place."

"Yeah, I never learned anything really about Adarid. But, this certainly wasn't where I was expecting to end up."

"I don't know much either, 'cept that there's a lot of fighting," Keanu shrugged.

Though wasn't expecting some sort of brigade try and handle the stuff on the beach. Think they're officers, aye?"

"Well if they were, then they should learn to be a bit more polite. If they're the law then they need to be setting a good example, right?"

"If they were officers, then Adarid is worse off than I thought," the Pikachu scoffed, shaking his head.

"So...what hotel are we staying at for the night?"

"Well, we should probably go that uh, um," Marie paused. "Uh, he 'Ashore Rose' or something. After all, we don't need to be spending all our money on some place for a night here."

"K'den," Keanu stretched. "Lessee if we can find it..."

Thankfully, they didn't have to walk too far, as apparently the hotel they were looking for, the Azure Rose, wasn't more than a couple blocks from where they were at. Keanu gazed at the building they were to be staying at, with its buttresses, pillars, and swooping gables. "The cheapest hotel my okole!" Then again, he thought, glancing at the side. "Is that hotel over there even bigger than this one?" he muttered incredulously. "What kind of planny rich tourists do they get here anyway?"

The inside was just as opulent as the outside. The floor was polished marble, and right before the counter was a swirling azure rose design, inlaid in the floor. The walls were adorned with paintings of various flowers in multiple shades and hues, though by far the most common was the blue rose. The gijinka behind the counter took one look at the group and sniffed, nails clacking against the polished wooden surface. "We don't do charity cases," she told them, expression flat and disinterested.

Keanu blinked multiple times. "Fo' real?!" he raised an eyebrow. "You haven't even seen the money yet. For all you know, we could be rolling."

"Then show me," she challenged. "It's 800 Poke for one room, one night."

No go, I only have 500, the Pikachu thought, before he realized just how outrageous the price was. "All of that just for a room?"

"Of course, this isn't Deku, after all," the Gloom scoffed. "Or rather, what used to be Deku. Flattened now, good riddance."

"Oh no. People.  That's the one who is going to help us get to Icecrown...they seem...busy."

Taiga looked over to see a Dragonite, conversing with a...oh geez.

"I-i-i-it's her!"

"Eh?"  Taiga eyed the Crobat a bit closer.  She wasn't sure if the girl looked familiar or not.  She could only shrug off the notion.  What did it matter anyways?  Taiga didn't pay much attention, until the gijinka decided to eye and smile at Scarlet.  Unconsciously, her jaw started jutting from side to side, her teeth grinding yet again.  Where was her acknowledgement?!  She rolled her eyes.  Again, what did it matter?

"I must ask, do any of you know where I might find a gijinka of a rather lively bearing? She would be one that...stands out from the common rabble, per se. You might have seen her gracing the stages, dazzling the crowds with her voice or movements."

Taiga couldn't help but pinch the her brow.

"Listen lady...I ain't been bedazzled by any sort of Gijinka lately, so I'm gonna have to say," Taiga took a deep breath, before yelling, "NO!  Now take this dead bird and beat it!  You're in my way."  Taiga stomped off towards the Dragonite who would help them get to Icecrown.  "Why do all the freaky ones get attracted to me...ufufuf"

"Well, we should probably go that uh, um. Uh, he 'Ashore Rose' or something. After all, we don't need to be spending all our money on some place for a night here."

"Azure Rose, Marie...close though." Randy corrected with a small chuckle. At the same time, he was still chuckling at what Keanu said before: the Pikachu charm. Heh, least he's honest about it. Not only that...he's doin' all of it without the need of a spotlight. Unlike me...good on the kid.

Unfortunately for the group, Azure Rose was...well, not the cheapest that they were hoping for, well at least when they first took a look at it. Walking inside, it was unlike anything Randy had the pleasures of seeing before. The floor was polished marble, and right before the counter was a swirling azure rose design, inlaid in the floor. The walls were adorned with paintings of various flowers in multiple shades and hues, though by far the most common was the blue rose.

Arceus be damned! Randy thought, his eyes looking around the lobby of this establishment, taking in the atmosphere. This seemed like something that would make the hotels on Alola jealous beyond all reason. Perhaps this little bit of lavished living wouldn't be too bad...and if they stayed here for a while...well, it would be interesting.

"We don't do charity cases."

The Incineroar gijinka whipped his head around from looking around, to spot the Gloom receptionist or something and saw she was obviously disgusted. "Charity case..." he grumbled, clenching his fists a bit. Thankfully Keanu made the first move...otherwise he'd probably slam his fists right onto the wooden table. He wouldn't care if the table was made with imported mahogany or any other fancy wood...it would be pretty much broken after he was done with it.

"It's 800 Poke for one room, one night."

"All of that just for a room?"

"Of course, this isn't Deku, after all. Or rather, what used to be Deku. Flattened now, good riddance."

Randy nodded a bit. If this woman wanted to play hard ball...he'd happily bring it. He strolled past Keanu, flashing a quick "I got this" look, before getting up to the counter, just staring at the Gloom. "I'm just going to lay this out here, lady." he said, pointing his thumb towards himself. "In case ya didn't know...I'm part of the Professional Pokémon Gijinka Wrestling Federation. The one...and only...Randy Roarton." The Incineroar flashed a quick grin, before leaning against the counter. "Now, despite my Heelish nature...I'm a nice cat. The others in the circuit...they aren't. And if I tell them that they would charge an outrageous amount of Poké just for one room AND one night...well, they might get pretty pissed."

Randy shrugged before standing up slightly, smirking widely. "So here's my offer. You can drop the price a bit and at least give us two nights here...annnnnnnd I'll make sure this hotel's rep is spread throughout the PPGWF as the best hotel for a wrestler to stay in." he said, crossing his arms. "After all, not everyday you get to bask in the greatness of a famous wrestler."

Adarid Team Karaoke

As he made his way outside the hospital, he could feel the fresh air - relative to the interior of the hospital anyways - hit his face. He took a good look around to make sure there wasn't anything, before letting out a sigh of relief when he found nothing. "Nothing..." He was mostly glad that none of those elite guards were around; the incident with the rebel leader was still fresh on his mind. "If we're gonna leave, we shou...!!!" He turned to Fiona, only to be greeted by her getting way too close, her lips rapidly approaching him. "W-What do I...what is..." He simply froze as the girl approached to kiss him. As her lips made contact, his face turned bright red, his heart rapidly pumping.

It hadn't been long before the others interrupted their kissing, but to Lok it felt like an eternity. Even when it was all over, he was still dead silent, his face practically glowing red. Fiona, meanwhile, immediately jumped what seemed to be a few feet away from him at the sound of their companions. "Hello companions! I guess it's time to go now yes? Yes." Lok simply nodded, trailing behind the group. His mind was racing, although Fiona had managed to distract him from the rebel's death.

Before they could get anywhere, however, they were stopped by a panicking man. "You gotta help! The soldiers, they aren't doing anything, they say it's not as bad as I say, they say that she can handle herself, they say they don't need to step in but they are WRONG!" He took a deep breathe before continuing. "Vita, at the Arena, the Arena Champion, there's someone...ah. Someone at the Arena. Someone really strong. He already beat the others and he's gonna beat her too. I don't know what he wants but he's not holding back at all. He's gonna kill them! I bet he'll come here next, he looked...he looked so fierce!" Lok looked at the man, his face slowly shifting from red. "Alleria..." He spoke quietly, realizing that their friend might be in danger. "We should go...wait" Another realization struck Lok. "Alleria is going to kill me if she finds out." Again, he froze, panicking a little internally.

Juyu Team Showdown

As the young girl got excited, Scarlet couldn't help but smile. "Geez Red...your memory is better than mine. All bat gijinka look the same to me." She said, snickering a tad. Scarlet winked at her, giving her the closest thing to a thumbs-up a pincer could give. The group seemed very ready to leave as soon as possible, however, Yuffie didn't seem to be happy with the result. "N-no, if my darling showed herself to you, then that must mean you're special. I knew I was on the right track with you! No way I'm leaving you now!" Scarlet gestured the girl to follow them as she trailed behind the group.

She was greeted by two familiar faces. She had only talked to the Dragonite - if she recalled correctly, her name was Quincy - trice to send letters to her family about her travels. Which reminded her, she hadn't sent a letter in a while. The other one, however, was Veronica. Scarlet waved to both of them from the back of the group, walking to the front of the crowd. She turned to face Yuffie. "A pleasant day to you again," she greeted highhandedly, glancing at Tianzi with a hint of curiosity before continuing. "I am afraid I do not know your face, good sir, but I do know your company. You are in dependable hands." Scarlet turned to Tianzi. "Company?" She asked quietly, before turning back to Veronica, returning the smile with one of her own. "I must ask, do any of you know where I might find a gijinka of a rather lively bearing? She would be one that...stands out from the common rabble, per se. You might have seen her gracing the stages, dazzling the crowds with her voice or movements."

"Listen lady...I ain't been bedazzled by any sort of Gijinka lately, so I'm gonna have to say," Taiga took a deep breath, before yelling, "NO! Now take this dead bird and beat it! You're in my way." Scarlet shook her head a little as Taiga made her way towards the messenger. "Sorry about her, she's...a bit antsy. Anyways, I don't think I've seen anyone that matches your descriptions. Sorry." She shrugged a little. "So, uh...what's the deal with this one?" As she spoke, she placed her pincer on Yuffie's head. "She seemed hellbent on finding you."

While Nine might've been relieved to see that the ghost was feeling better, he had a sort of off sensation about it. Nevertheless, not pressing it any further the man nodded, agreeing, "Yeah, that's a good idea. I don't want to spend any more time here than I have." With a slight joking tone he said, "and it's already been far too long." With that, the group started to approach the other duo of their group, both of which seemed oddly jumpy. While Nine raised an eyebrow to this, he was soon interrupted as someone else had barged in on them. The man was describing some kind of danger, one that Nine would normally want no part of. However, his eyes went wide at the mention that this dangerous entity was fighting Vita, and giving her trouble at that. When it came to raw strength, Vita was more than likely on the same level of power as Heather had been. Beyond that, Vita also had the skill that came with fighting in the arena for as long as she had. As such, the amount of people who could match her, much less overpower her after defeating the rest of the arena, was few and far between in this world.

Nine's blood began to boil as he came to his theory about the mysterious figure, and knew that if they were as strong as he believed they were, then he would be more than likely no match for them. In addition, he didn't want to waste any more time in getting to Northshore then this trip had already made them. Yet, he couldn't just stand by and let the same thing that happened in Juyu happen in Adarid City all over again. He couldn't just stand by and let another person of such discipline and fortitude just be snuffed out by some rampage again. She wouldn't have let this pass. Hell, she nearly died trying to let something like this not pass. As such, Nine had felt a strange sesne of obligation to this, though, that it was mixed in with a sensation of frustration and rage.

While his expression seemed to be one of deliberation and frustration, it eventually calmed itself into one of grim, seriousness. "Alright, I'll go check it out." As he let out a deep breath, trying to calm himself though with no actual change in expression, the man looked to Lok. "I'd recommend you stay back," he turned to Clotilde saying, "you too. If this person is as dangerous as they say they are, then as it is we probably stand no chance, but given how fatigued you are it'd probably only end poorly if things came to a fight." After frankly stating that, the houndoom began to walk towards the arena.

Adarid Again/ ~

Ignoring a jumpy kid and a contemplating young man, Clotilde hesitantly listened to the panicking newcomer. It was yet another obstacle that seemed to pop out of nowhere for some reason. Nine had already told them to stay as he walked ahead and Lok looked like he was a little bothered, or nervous. Fiona was next to him and Clotilde's womanly intuition, as dull as it may be, was simply ringing. She did something. A hug perhaps. The poor boy was fidgety enough for that. Either Fiona was teasing him or she was into him, either would surprise Clotilde.

But then for some reason Lok's expression turned to dread. No boy would feel like that if a pretty girl came on him, so perhaps... He had an old lover who'd be jealous? That too surprised Clotilde and she forgot entirely that all this was her speculating. The boy sure was in a tough spot. A love triangle. It was just like in a romance novel. She patted Lok on the shoulder, looking over him knowingly. "O Lok, you have it harsh indeed. Indeed. If you require some reference materials for your situation I certainly have a stock of them."

Then it occurred to her. An abnormally strong fighter, at an arena. That sounded just like a legendary. "Very well we are following Nine now." She grabbed both by their arms and went off after him.

Team Alola, Day 6, Northshore

"So here's my offer. You can drop the price a bit and at least give us two nights here...annnnnnnd I'll make sure this hotel's rep is spread throughout the PPGWF as the best hotel for a wrestler to stay in. After all, not everyday you get to bask in the greatness of a famous wrestler."

"Wrestling Federation? Hmph, sounds like some kind of backwater thing. If you were an Arena Champion, maybe...And don't think of trying to threaten me; I can have the Northshore Guard on you just like that. How about this. Just because I want you gone as soon as possible. 750, no less, and you can't show your face in the lobby until you leave."

It was clear that the Gloom was not budging. The group could choose to spend the Poke, half of their combined total, for a night, or they could try and find somewhere else to stay. However night was beginning to fall and soon enough they would need something.

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 24, Water Route to Mioter

The voyage was...kind of boring. Dora was bored. Very bored. She wanted something to do and there wasn't much. She didn't understand any of the games that the crew had with them and she couldn't focus on most of the stories the others told.

She got so bored that one night she tried to fight Easter, though that didn't go so well.

The rest may have found other ways to entertain themselves, and each other, but Dora spent most of the time rolling around and enjoying the rocking of the boat.

She fell off the edge a grand total of ten times throughout the past eight days and was well on her way to an eleventh when the captain himself plucked her off the railing.

"Not gonna want to do that today, lass." He said, pointing off into the distance.

Dora tilted her head and looked over where he was pointing.

Ahead of the ferry, on the edge of vision, was the whirlpools that had been mentioned before. And they were much worse than they had imagined. The way the region was laid out meant that the only way to go was in between two huge mountains. The water route between had several massive, larger than the ferry itself, whirlpools raging. There was very little space in between and it was obvious that they'd have to get it perfect if they wanted even a chance to break free from the torrential waters.

"It's a mighty swell that's for sure." The captain said. He had a look on his face that was borderline...excited. He didn't seem all too concerned about this. In fact he looked happy to be able to test his vessel against these waters. "ALL HANDS ON DECK WE'RE GOING IN!"

Dora laughed and ran below deck to make sure everyone knew about the "Super fun thing I just saw."

Team Mac, Day 15, Southshore

"Bottom line," Kah concluded, "I'm not about to risk my life by answering that."

Cobalion and Virizion were watching Kah. Meanwhile Terrakion was looking at Suiten. "Guess that's that then, isn't it." He said with a grunt.

The others nodded. "Such a shame. I suppose we have to deliver the punishment. Cobalion?"
"Yes...I will take care of it."

Before Kah could go much farther Virizion and Terrakion both moved forward. Terrakion grabbed onto her from behind, wrapping an arm around her neck and the other her waist. Virizion, meanwhile, grabbed Kah's arm and lifted it so it stuck out horizontally from the Dragon girl's body.

"You have not killed that much is true. But your intentions are clear and your loyalty is towards those who would kill us." He approached the girl who, in her weakened state, would find it difficult to break free from the other two.

"Calm, beautiful." Virizion said in a soothing voice. "This will be over fast."

"Your punishment has been decided and once a decision is made...It must be executed swiftly without hesitation." There was a flash as Cobalion brought down a blade upon Kah's wrist, severing her hand from her arm.

It would be painful, but the wound would be sealed almost immediately, and only small amounts of blood would remain. The two other legends let go of the girl. "You can go on your way now, girl. Never stand before one of my comrades with those killer's eyes again."

"Unless you want to play nice of course." Virizion said with a sly smile.

Mac watched the proceedings with wide eyes. That was...vicious, yes, but they were so confident and sure of what to do. All Mac could think to do, in the situation, was go to Ari. "Come on, we should..." She looked at the other two. "What should we do now?" She asked, in a rare moment of uncertainty.

Terrakion approached Suiten after and clapped his hand on the Samurott's shoulder, causing him to buckle slightly. "So, kid, where do you want to go from here? We're planning on searching out the others and seeing if we can take the fight to these Godslayers. You in? Or..." He looked towards the others. "Do you want to stick with your comrades here?"

Team Showdown, Day 22, Juyu

"I must ask, do any of you know where I might find a gijinka of a rather lively bearing? She would be one that...stands out from the common rabble, per se. You might have seen her gracing the stages, dazzling the crowds with her voice or movements."

Why did everyone talk so much? Isole was glad to have seen the bird faint, no more from her, then this girl came into the picture...and what was it she was asking? It was strangely worded, vague, something didn't feel right here.

Taiga, as usual, burst from the crowd and went towards the Dragonite. Scarlet, also as usual, tried to help the girl as best she could.

A Gijinka that stands out....Dazzling crowds? Well Juyu did have a music festival but with how its been lately she doubted many of the performers had stayed.

She didn't like this girl very much. "Why do you want to find this...Gijinka?" Isole asked after Scarlet got her question out.

Quincy, meanwhile, was watching the group in curiosity. As Taiga approached the girl's face lit up. "Oh hello! Who are you? I'm Quincy, of the Dragonite Express! Got a message to send? Or....." She looked at Isole, recognition crossed her face. "Oh are you here for my super cool brand new service?"

Team Karaoke, Day 20, Adarid City

"Alleria..."

Fiona shuddered at the name. She didn't want to think about that thing ever again...and if she was at the arena...not to mention it was probably...one of them. And she didn't exactly want to be seen by them...

"I'd recommend you stay back," he turned to Clotilde saying, "you too. If this person is as dangerous as they say they are, then as it is we probably stand no chance, but given how fatigued you are it'd probably only end poorly if things came to a fight."

"Very well we are following Nine now."

Fiona's eyes widened as she was dragged away. Yes, she was right, something was very wrong about this woman.

Gwen almost laughed at the sight. But she knew what they were heading for. Another battle. It was...sobering. "I don't think you can get rid of us that easily, Nine." Gwen scolded. "Though Fiona, Lok, perhaps you should stay at the entrance...just in case."

----

The trip to the Arena had them dodging away from a few more groups of rebels, as well as some soldiers, it was slow going but they made it there before nighttime fell.

The Arena was a huge structure to be sure...but it felt...smaller somehow. As if not being filled with fans had lessened its presence.

There was no one to be seen as they entered. And it wasn't until they reached the hallway leading to the battlefield that they saw their first Gijinka.

They looked stronger than most. Be it their powerful bodies or the aura of energy that came from them. Each that they passed looked to be a strong fighter.

And each of them were knocked unconscious, perhaps dead.

The number grew smaller as they approached the middle but the apparent strength of the fighters grew. Even at the end, where a Rhyperior was against a cracked wall, they found no conscious Gijinka.

Until they entered the battlefield itself, a large area of sand, where two Gijinka were in battle.

One was a powerful, and startlingly calm, Zebstrika. Who had just finished sending the other who had been airborne into the ground with a Shockwave.

The other was Vita. The Arena Champion. Whose body was currently covered in bruises and injuries. She didn't look to be finished quite yet but it was clear she was holding on a thread.

The Zebstrika suddenly spoke. "I know you're here. Show yourself. You crave victories, do you not? Is this not a grand victory?"

"Wrestling Federation? Hmph, sounds like some kind of backwater thing. If you were an Arena Champion, maybe..."

"Backwater...?!" Randy said going wide eyed. Was this Gloom for real? Was she uncultured?!

"And don't think of trying to threaten me; I can have the Northshore Guard on you just like that."

He started grinding his teeth at this. Well this went absolutely no where. Being threatening was the LAST thing he was trying to be. Tch...how the hell do all the others throw their weight around just to get the best deals for a room. he thought, getting pretty upset at this whole ordeal.

"How about this. Just because I want you gone as soon as possible. 750, no less, and you can't show your face in the lobby until you leave."

Annnnnnd that was the last straw. "We can't show our faces...are you serious?!" Randy shouted, turning around as he ran his hands over his head some. This had to be a joke. Not only was this Gloom apparently uncultured to not even hear about the PPGWF, but it seemed like she was trying to avoid them like they had Pokérus or something!

Randy walked back over towards Marie and Keanu and forcefully shoved his pockets. He was growling greatly before glancing over his shoulder. "Well she knocked it down at least 50 Poké. But even still...she's basically confiding us to the room and not letting us in the lobby unless we're leaving." Turning his attention and gaze back to the two, he grumbled further. "Whats more...she called the wrestling federation a damn backwater thing!"

Then again...the term "Arena Champion" did sound interesting, but this Gloom pissed him off too much as it is already.

"Personally I want to just leave this damn hotel..." he said quickly, before glancing to the outside from the windows. "But it's looking like its getting pretty late. So what do you two think...? Is it worth just staying at this place?"

Kazo sighed to himself. He could feel his body coming down off his anger high. He still didn't want to talk to Kah, however, and at the moment, didn't care what happened to her. He looked over his shoulder to check on Ari and Mac. The two were pretty quiet this whole time. Then he saw it. Ari was crying. Guilt filled Kazo's heart. Why wouldn't he be? Kazo walked over to the small cub, sitting down next to him, reaching out and rubbing his head gently. He didn't know what to say, or even what to do. All this time, he was the one in Ari's shoes, crying as the world worked against him.

He did have an example of what to do, though.

Carefully, he got Ari into his lap, and simply just hugged him. He didn't say anything, just hugged him, to let the little cub know he wasn't alone, to let him know things would get better. He watched the proceedings, being sure to cover Ari's eyes as Kah's hand was chopped off. He couldn't imagine what it would be like to lose a body part like that. She would have a lot of adjusting to do with that handicap, but he had no doubt that she would do it. She was too stupid and prideful to do anything else.

"Come on, we should..." Kazo looked over as Mac spoke up. She looked at the other two. "What should we do now?" She asked. Kazo was shocked. Mac, not knowing what to do? What the hell? The world was really turning upside down. The big one approached them and slapped a hand on Suiten's shoulder.

"So, kid, where do you want to go from here? We're planning on searching out the others and seeing if we can take the fight to these Godslayers. You in? Or..." He looked towards the others. "Do you want to stick with your comrades here?" Kazo thought to himself. There was no way Kazo could watch after both Ari and Mac by himself... but at the same time, these Godslayers really needed to be stopped. Kazo couldn't take a strong fighter from that.

Oh gods, he was the adult now, wasn't he?

"Well, I have an idea," Kazo said as he looked at Mac. "We'll stay here until Latias wakes up, and then head back into town to rest. It's been a long day. We can decide what to do after that in the morning," He then looked at Suiten. "What Suiten does is up to him. Where ever he feels he's most needed,"

Despite the long journey on the boat, Denku had a lot of fun. He made sure to learn all he could about Fawkes, Dora, and Brookes, while keeping a safe distance from Easter. The fairy type kept him on edge, and he didn't know--- actually, no, he knew exactly why. Easter was putting up a sugary front up, but Denku had seen them in battle. They were anything but, and the interest they had in Kaz that one time... it didn't sit right with him. He felt as if Easter could lash out and bite like a wild animal at any time.

At least he knew the kids were safe around the Sylveon though.

While learning about the group, he also had the pleasure of listening to the crew's stories, and playing games with them. It was probably the most fun he had in a while. Every night, he made sure to check that he did not accidentally enter the room Easter was in, and he slept soundly. Maybe being a sailor wouldn't be a bad thing, if he lived long enough, anyways. The calm days also made him realize... his chest, his heart wasn't bothering him anymore, at least not that he could notice. Did Xerenas do something to him? He didn't know...

However, the day finally came.

"ALL HANDS ON DECK WE'RE GOING IN!" the captain shouted. Dora came downstairs, telling everyone about the 'Super fun thing' she saw. Denku knelt down, rubbing both Fawkes and Dora's heads.

"Alright, here we go. You two stay close to an adult, and we'll make it through this, okay?"

"Guess that's that then, isn't it."

"Such a shame. I suppose we have to deliver the punishment. Cobalion?"

"Yes...I will take care of it. You have not killed that much is true. But your intentions are clear and your loyalty is towards those who would kill us."

Terrakion and Virizion moved forward, grabbing Kah and holding her in place. She made no effort to struggle free. Even if she did, these three would be able to just chase her down. They were stronger, and faster. Running was useless. And this is how I die. Looks like I won't be going home after all. Kah never did hear stories back home about what lied beyond this life. It made sense; nobody knew, right? Whatever it was, Kah steeled herself, ready to face it head-on. She doubted it would be any more forgiving than what was going on here and now.

"Calm, beautiful. This will be over fast."

Good. Kah closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and waited. Cobalion spoke again, and she felt a blade cut through her. However, contrary to what she'd expected, it wasn't her neck. She instead felt the blade going through her left arm, just above the wrist. A yelp of pain escaped her lips, as her eyes shot open and looked at the wound. Her hand was gone, yet by the time she got to really look at her wound, it was already sealed. She looked down. Her left hand was now on the ground. They took her hand instead of her life? And not even her dominant hand? Kah wanted to linger on it, but the pain of a severed hand was rushing through her brain like a Ninjask hopped up on way too many sweets.

"You can go on your way now, girl. Never stand before one of my comrades with those killer's eyes again."

"Unless you want to play nice of course."

And then she was free to go. Kah reached down to the floor with her stubbed arm...then tried again with her remaining hand. She'd have to get used to this. She picked up the severed hand and started toward the forest. She didn't turn to face the others. She just couldn't in this situation. Everything they'd said was true. Although she was doing this for a plan that was ultimately for their sake, Kah had betrayed them. And she even failed at it! To top it off, the reward for her failed betrayal was the loss of a hand. The pain was starting to subside, at least in her mind. She was feeling something else.

Rage. "Who does he think he is?" Kah muttered to herself once within the woods and away from everywone else. "Just because he's some legendary hotshot, he thinks he's so above me that he can let me live and it's all fine and dandy? I'll show him." Kah's grip on her severed hand tightened, tighter and angrier, until its bones cracked in her grip. "This isn't over. I'll show that swordsman just who he's dealing with. Maybe take his hand. But first, where the hell is that Gardevoir?" Suddenly, Kah felt far more eager to get more direct in the case of future orders from that woman.

"ALL HANDS ON DECK WE'RE GOING IN!"

The last eight days had been rather quiet. More so than Fawkes had expected. She got to hear all sorts of stories from the crew aboard the ship, and while she didn't entirely get some of them, they were a good way to pass the time regardless. However, she could feel in her gut that the silent, easy part of the trip was now over. Dora coming down to tell everyone about the "super fun thing" she'd seen - with Dora's sense of fun - didn't help the impression any. Denku kneeled down, rubbing both of the small ones on their heads.

"Alright, here we go. You two stay close to an adult, and we'll make it through this, okay?"

Fawkes felt tense. Like her shoes had suddenly become iron, and like a hummingbird had suddenly taken up residence in her stomach, beating its wings rapidly to keep anything from settling down in there. She opened her mouth to answer, but the words weren't coming out. She opted instead to close her mouth, and silently nod. Denku had said to stick close to the adults, and Fawkes planned to do exactly that. Stay close to them. Fawkes found herself gravitating toward Easter. She figured Brooke would have enough of a hard time watching Dora, even if everyone else also kept an eye on her. And Denku...she hadn't known him as long. Easter was just the best choice; she'd already saved Fawkes's life once before after all.

Adarid Team Karaoke

His thoughts were interrupted when Nine turned to speak to Lok. "I'd recommend you stay back," Lok, nearly jumped. "No need to worry! I have no intention of going in!" He spoke quickly, before feeling something pat on his shoulder. "O Lok, you have it harsh indeed. Indeed. If you require some reference materials for your situation I certainly have a stock of them." This time, he was more confused than alarmed. "T-Thank you..." He didn't want to know what she meant by "reference materials", but appreciated the concern. "Very well we are following Nine now." Suddenly, he felt himself being dragged into the arena. Luckily, he could levitate above the ground, so he wasn't literally dragged through the dirt. "I don't think you can get rid of us that easily, Nine. Though Fiona, Lok, perhaps you should stay at the entrance...just in case." He turned to Gwen. "O-Of course! Haha..."

x393wz.jpg

They had made it to their destination. "Be safe, ok guys?" He said before the group entered the Arena, leaving him and Fiona at the entrance. He took a second to relax on the walls of the arena, before realizing that he was out alone with Fiona. Again. He turned to the girl, who was on the other side of the door. "I should talk to her - at least so she doesn't try to surprise me like that again..." He thought to himself before clearing his throat. He was threading a very dangerous line between two very dangerous women, and he knew that. He would have to pick his words carefully. "S-So, uh....that was weird, right? How...you know, you...uh..." He coughed awkwardly. "C-Can I ask why? I thought you and...you know...were a thing, so I don't understand...why..." Things were definitely not going well.

As it had been decided, the group had made their way through the city of Adarid, bee-lining it as best they could to the Arena. Nine wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea of Lok and Clotilde trailing behind him as such, but telling them to stay back and do nothing was an argument waiting to happen, and one that would only waste time. And that was one thing they could not afford. As it were, there time was already spent trying to avoid any scattered rebels or soldiers who had been patrolling the city. Nevertheless, as time had passed, the group had eventually made it there. Nine hadn't ever gone to fight within the arena himself, yet he had stopped by from time to time to check it out. Seeing it now, though, it was as though a storm with fists had passed through.

Along their trip to the center stage of the arena, Nine saw several gijinka strewn across the halls. Despite their apparent strength, it seemed as though they had all been soundly defeated, unconscious or dead. While the sight was one that filled the houndoom with dread, it did little to stop his step. However, as they were getting closer and closer to where Nine believed they would find the champion in this mess, the sense of dread only grew stronger and stronger. Eventually, Nine had stopped momentarily and addressed everyone who had followed him. "If whatever monster did this is up ahead, remember to keep on your toes and be cautious. And remember, don't fight if you feel it's hopeless." The houndoom was terrified that were this the same person that destroyed Juyu, even if all of them fought him at once, they'd stand no chance. To that effect, he wasn't sure what he was even going to do when he saw what lied beyond. Nevertheless, he continued forward regardless.

As the group made their way into the main stage of the arena, they were greeted with the site of the champion Vita, being thrown across the arena from the strength of some electrical blast. Her body, covered in wounds and bruises, the girl herself seemed barely able to keep conscious, if not alive at that. The culprit for this was none other than the man who had let loose the shockwave. A Zebstrika, heavily injured and worn out yet still standing proud and resolute. The Zebstrika carried an air of intensity and power about him that was uncommon amongst others of his kind he had seen, though given how it outclassed most gijinka he had ever known that didn't seem to be too difficult. His brow furrowed as the man mentioned something that craved victories, and while he might've attempted to parse what he meant by it, the houndoom continued walking until he was in the arena proper. "Hey, don't you think that's enough." The houndoom shouted out to the man. His voice and expression remained level, his eyes conveying a seriousness to them.

Without looking back the Zebstrika replied. "If you are a warrior you should know the result of stepping into a battlefield. Leave us."

"Sadly, I'm no warrior. But I'm not entirely sure this is what being one is all about." Nine continued to take a few more steps forward before stopping. "Hey. Are you the one who destroyed Juyu?"

The Zebstrika's gaze continued to stay on the champion. "That was another. If you seek that man you seek death."

The Charizard then spoke up. "Get out of here! He's not messing around."

Nine let out a sigh of relief at the news. It wasn't as though he suddenly thought that he could fight this man, no he was still terrifyingly strong. Nevertheless, he felt as though some sense of unease was lifted off of him. Though, there was something else that clicked with him. Even if the Zebstrika wasn't the one who did it, he was definitely familiar with them. Nine then looked to the champion. "Sadly, no can do anymore. Well, not like I could to begin with. Now then," Nine took a few more steps forward before stopping and saying, "presuming you aren't some homicidal maniac, now's not really the best time to claim the title of Champion. So just what the hell are you doing here?"

"My goal is for the Avatar of Victory. I care not for what is going on outside. I have a task that I cannot fail." The Zebstrika then went for Vita again.

Nine's eyes went wide at the mention of what he was after, however, before he could properly process it he noticed that one of his hands were already ablaze. Firing out a stream of flame from it, the houndoom struck at the Zebstrika's back, attempting to stop him. Starting to move forward at a more hurried pace, Nine said,  "I wasn't done talking with you, you know. Besides, even if Victini's here, then you're definitely going about it the wrong way to get his attention!"

While Nine declared this resolutely to the warrior, he realized that there was a really good chance he had just gotten way in over his head.

When the group had finally found their way to the Azure Rose hotel, they were greeted with the sight of a rather pre-perturbed Gloom. While Randy seemed to think he could have the situation under control, Marie stood back and listened as he attempted to "negotiate." However, as he began speaking, Marie's expression started to sink. It only got worse the longer he kept talking and Marie felt a rising scolding building up in her. As the Incineroar turned to the others for advice, Marie looked at him with a mother's look of disappointment contrasted with her child-like pouting face. "Randal Roarton!" she started. "Just what do you think you were doing?" As she tapped her foot she continued, "you can't just go around talking to people like that! Being rude and threatening people is no way to make a good first impression. Even if they don't make the best first  impression," her voice was at normal volume, "that's no reason to go and be rude and give them a reason to not be nice. Now come here Mister."

She motioned for him to bend closer towards her. If he did, she would then grab onto his ear and pull him by it. Otherwise, she would jump at him and try to yank on his ear that way. Either way she would then say, "apologize to the hotel person, and we'll be on our way elsewhere."

As Taiga approached the Dragonite, she could see the Gijinka's face brighten up from a mile away.

"Oh hello! Who are you? I'm Quincy, of the Dragonite Express! Got a message to send? Or....." She looked at Isole, recognition crossed her face. "Oh are you here for my super cool brand new service?"

"Whatsittoya..."  Taiga dug into her ears, her face as irritated as ever, flicking off a non-disclosed bodily creation from inside.  "Yeah...I'm here for your super awesome brand spanking diddly doodah service...Can we just get this rolling already?  I'm bored to death here...Taiga's gotta keep movin'."  She yawned.  She wasn't impressed in the slightest.  What was this poor excuse for a dragon going to do, have them all jump on her back and whisk them away towards the top of the mountain?  Taiga wasn't a particular fan of being off the ground, or not near a water source...but the faster she could get treasure, the better.  She looked back towards the others, who were still locked in conversation with that crobat from earlier.  It would take forever for them to get going if they were just gonna stand around all day!  She pointed towards the hodgepodge group behind her with that same irritated expression tracing her mouth.

"If we're flying on you...I'll pay you 100 poke for each of them that gets dropped...Fufufu..."

"Fainted already? Oh my, how would she even survive in this mad world- wait, that wasn't something I should concern myself with now."

At the very least the group had noticed how much Tianzi talked right now, and he decided to tone down her words for the time being after one of them asked her to, especially now since he was getting quite tired doing that same routine over. The group had met with the Crobat that the Fletchling had swooned over earlier, and it seemed that she was lucky enough to survive without a scratch unlike Tianzi's earlier pessimistic forecast regarding her fate. Another that was there was a Dragonite. Introducing herself as a courier, at first Tianzi thought that they didn't really need to send a message at first, but when she said that she had a special brand new service in tow, it did piqued her interest.

"If we're flying on you...I'll pay you 100 poke for each of them that gets dropped...Fufufu..."

"I don't know, you look pretty heavy yourself. In contrast, this body of mine is as light as a feather and as soft as one too. Moreover, if I am serious about paying to be carried by this nice lady here, I believe that no matter the amount of money you're willing to shell out, it would still be inferior to what I'm willing to spend for her company, ohoho."

Tianzi's attempt to sound like a snobby brat seemed to work to paint him with a new image that he could stick with less effort now, and he turned around to the Crobat afterwards to further ask regarding the nature of the person she was looking for.

"I wonder myself, this city is...or was, with its pitiable current state, filled with people that matched the description of the showy girl you mentioned. Perhaps you could provide us with another pointer?

...And to sate my curiosity, may I ask about what exactly is your relation with this...clueless hatchling over there?" As he said that, he pointed at where the Fletchling passed out.

Thinking about it, as much as she was being quite unpleasant about it, the shark was right. It would perhaps be best if they depart as soon as they could figure out a method to reach their destination.

Ari just didn't understand. Just why had all of this happened? So fast...too fast. When had such a carefree quest to battle legends and get strong become this? Now there were Godslayers, Kah wanted to be one too, and two legendaries were dead. This was...too much.

It's easy to say I can be brave, he thought bitterly. But it was a lot harder to be brave than he thought. A lot harder to be strong than he thought. Had he been fooling himself all this time? Except no, ever since that accident in the Donphan graveyard, he had quickly figured out the extent of his weakness. He hadn't been able to protect his friend, Tiana, and even after two years, he wasn't able to protect anybody.

It might be easier to just give up, he thought glumly.

It was at this moment that, he felt movement, and then he was wrapped in warmth. What's going on? Soon afterward, he realized what had happened. Kazo...his friend, no, big brother, if he could use that word, and suddenly, Ari started to freak. Because what if Kazo doesn't think of me as a brother what if I'm just some random gijinka to him what if--and then his head was being rubbed, and it felt nice and like home again, and Ari couldn't help but let out a soft wail as he buried his face in Kazo's shirt, fingers digging into the fabric as if it were the only thing keeping him afloat.

And maybe it was.

Suiten thought he wouldn't care, but he found himself flinching when the blade came down upon the Hydreigon's wrist. Punishment had been served, and his temper sated. Now, watching the Hydreigon leave, he could only find himself awash in regret. Regret that he had ever joined this group, regret that things had become like this. I wanted to become a protector, he thought. But it was obvious that he still had a ways to go, if he could not tell the Mareep from the Skiddo.

Mac's eyes were wide as she approached Ari but her words could not penetrate through the gloom. "Come on, we should..." She looked at the other two. "What should we do now?"

The Samurott could not find it within himself to reply to her. No, he could not find it within himself to have anything to do with any of these gijinka at the moment. A clapped hand on his shoulder caused him to buckle, looking up at Terrakion. "So, kid, where do you want to go from here? We're planning on searching out the others and seeing if we can take the fight to these Godslayers. You in? Or..." He looked towards the others. "Do you want to stick with your comrades here?"

The water type opened his mouth to reply when Kazo interrupted. "Well, I have an idea. We'll stay here until Latias wakes up, and then head back into town to rest. It's been a long day. We can decide what to do after that in the morning," He then looked toward the Samurott. "What Suiten does is up to him. Where ever he feels he's most needed."

Suiten looked at the gijinka in front of him. At Kazo, holding a trembling Ari. At Mac, who was for once not her usual confident self. His heart gave a twinge at seeing these three like this. Part of him wanted to stay, to help them stand on their feet once more, but the other part...the other part told him that his presence might do more harm than good. It wasn't a matter of trust. True, Kah had left the group, had betrayed what his heart had told him about her, that she was a comrade. But that didn't mean that it was wrong about these three.

Still, he needed a break. A break from all of this, from having to wonder whether he could rely on his own judgment anymore. Some good old-fashioned fighting would help clear things up. Not to mention...he had a bone to pick with these Godslayers. That Salamence in particular. And if he ever found the one who had corrupted Kah...well, let's just say that she would soon know how it felt to face the wrath of an angry god.

BGM

"I'm in," the water type nodded at Terrakion, before turning to the group in front of him. "My apologies, but...I think some distance would do us all good. More than a night's sleep can grant." He glanced around to be sure that Kah was gone before closing his eyes and concentrating. And with a flash of light, his form rippled like a mirage, revealing a gijinka dressed in similarly-styled clothing, but subtly different. Instead of white, blue, and yellow, he sported red, blue, and yellow. His hair was shorter, and bright scarlet to match his unchanged eyes, and his baby face had rounded even more.

"I am sorry for the deception," he said. "Alone, I do not think I could fend off those who would seek to destroy me, though I am not nearly as well-known as some of the others." He bowed to the three. "Suiten was a nom de guerre, attached though I am to it now. My true name is Keldeo," he introduced himself once more as he stood beside his fellow legendaries.

Easter had the rest of the voyage to recover from the barrage of memories. That didn't make them any less painful, but it wasn't as if the kit's murder had been recent. No, he had had a while since then to move on. The recent events had just stirred his emotions up, sharpening the dull edges of grief once more. I never thought I'd see myself on a boat again, he thought. At the very least it wasn't...that ship.

When he wasn't resting on the railings, staring out at the sea, he was eating the rest of his sweets, or taking his mind off things by terrorizing the crew. Shame that none of them were that cute, but it was still fun to see just how red he could make them.

One night Dora challenged him to a fight. Smiling indulgently, the Sylveon accepted. He ended it soon after getting hit. "Arrgh, you got me!" he groaned, one arm outstretched dramatically, before collapsing on the deck. Actually, this position was quite comfortable. He might just decide to fall asleep like this. Part of him wondered if he should have actually tried to fight Dora, but the thought of fighting children, especially after recent events, left him uneasy.

A few days later, Dora came charging downstairs. She bumped into Denku and the rest, telling him about this "Super fun thing I just saw."

"Alright, here we go. You two stay close to an adult, and we'll make it through this, okay?" the Pupitar whispered while rubbing the children's heads.

It was amusing how the man had been avoiding him this whole time, as much as he could. It wasn't very subtle, though he supposed he couldn't fault him for that. Rock types generally weren't, after all. Fawkes, on the other, hand, after hearing that they were right upon the whirlpools, open and closed her mouth before sticking to Easter like a burr. A rush of warmth gathered in the fairy type's chest, and he couldn't resist reaching down to scratch the Zorua's ears. "I'm here, it's fine," he murmured reassuringly.

Then he turned to Denku. "I'd say we should stay downstairs, but it might be better for us to head up. Down here, we won't know what's going on at all." As he turned to go up, a thought tickled his brain. "Why do I get a funny feeling I've forgotten something? I know I've heard mention of whirlpools before..."

"Why do all the freaky ones get attracted to me...ufufuf."

"I see you haven't changed. Just as loudmouthed as ever. And why you'd think I'd be attracted to you," Veronica's nose wrinkled in disgust. Before things could escalate the cute Scizor from earlier approached.

"Sorry about her, she's...a bit antsy. Anyways, I don't think I've seen anyone that matches your descriptions. Sorry." Scarlet shrugged a little. "So, uh...what's the deal with this one?" As she spoke, she placed her pincer on Yuffie's head. "She seemed hellbent on finding you."

"Why do you want to find this...Gijinka?" Isole asked.

Then, the strange Xatu spoke. For some reason, Veronica had thought he would sound like...somebody else, but no, of course not.

"Ohoho, so many questions," the Crobat laughed, though there was a nervous edge to it as she glanced at the Fletchling. In fact, she took a step backward as if the bird were diseased. "As for her..." her eyes flickered to and fro. "She's a bother," she said finally, looking reluctant to say more. She seemed to recover somewhat as her thoughts went to the ice type's question. "To answer your query, I am merely ascertaining her condition after the attack." Her eyes narrowed in thought to the psychic avian's urge for more detail. "I suppose I was rather vague, but for those that have met her, those words alone would be enough to identify her. She is not your ordinary performer, even amongst the talents of Juyu. To speak their language, she is a virtuoso, an unparalleled genius. Within a minute her performances can bring you back to the happiest, or saddest periods of your life, and by the time she is finished you leave transcended." She pursed her lips. "Genius like that is rarely found in the constant mind, and I must confess to some concern. After such a devastating attack, there is no telling what she might do."

Keanu glanced at Randy with some annoyance. We came here from across the sea! You think that anybody here knows what the heck the PPGWF is?! This man was really full of himself, though it wasn't nearly as grating as it was before. It was really too bad that Lucine wasn't here to add some authenticity to his claims. Who knows, this girl might actually know about it, and if we can get a cheaper room out of it, then I won't look a gift Mudsdale in the mouth.

But that was not to be.

Randy had an understandably bad reaction to this. "Backwater...?! We can't show our faces...are you serious?!" the Incineroar shouted, turning around as he ran his hands over his head some. Randy walked back over towards Marie and Keanu and forcefully shoved his hands in his pockets. He was growling greatly before glancing over his shoulder. "Well she knocked it down at least 50 Poké. But even still...she's basically confiding us to the room and not letting us in the lobby unless we're leaving." Turning his attention and gaze back to the two, he grumbled further. "What's more...she called the wrestling federation a damn backwater thing! Personally I want to just leave this damn hotel..." he said quickly, before glancing to the outside from the windows. "But it's looking like its getting pretty late. So what do you two think...? Is it worth just staying at this place?"

Keanu was about to reply that he was fine sleeping outdoors. He did so all the time back in Alola, after all, when Marie spoke up, a mother's look of disappointment on her face.

She motioned for him to bend closer towards her, yanking on his ear, "apologize to the hotel person, and we'll be on our way elsewhere."

"Phew," somebody whistled from behind. "That's some impressive lecturing skills you got there, Miss." A young gijinka who looked to be around the same age as Marie approached them, face bright with excitement.

"Miss Morgan!" the Gloom gasped, pulling a complete one-eighty from her previous grouchy, disinterested expression to a gentle, smiling one. "How are you doing?"

"Very well, thanks for asking, Miss Rafflesia," Morgan winked, giving a little wave as she did so. Her attention turned to Marie shortly afterward. "You! You're cool! I like you!" she took her hand and pumped it excitedly. "What's your name? My name's Morgan! Oh wait, you probably know that by now..." she blushed, fiddling with her hood. "Umm...forget I said that! Oh yeah, what about you? What are your names?" she looked at Randy and Keanu both.

"Keanu," the Pikachu greeted with a lazy grin. "Resident cool head for these two," he gestured at the others affectionately.

"Okay okay," Morgan nodded, responding to Randy's answer in much the same way. Then she turned to the Popplio once more. "So I heard that you need somewhere to stay? Well, it just so happens that my house has plenty of space, especially for cool people." She bounced brightly on the balls of her feet, tail wagging.

"Uhh...is that wise?" Rafflesia asked, glancing at the group. "You don't know anything about them. For all we know they could be criminals," she glanced at Randy as she said so.

"Relaaax," the Eevee responded, "I think I'm a pretty good judge of character, if I do say so myself. Which, well, I do! These guys are fiiine."

"Whatever you say, Miss Morgan," the Gloom said doubtfully, though she left it at that.

"I do say so! Also, you people are new right? I gotta show you around town then!"

"I think it's a bit late for that," the Pikachu said, glancing out at the darkening sky. "Maybe tomorrow." Honestly, he didn't really care that this random Eevee had decided to take them in for the night. As long as he slept at some point, that's all that mattered.

"Oh really? Yeah, you're right I guess," the normal type frowned, ears drooping, before they perked back up. "But you can still stay at my house! That is, uhh, if you want to," she looked down shyly before jerking her head back up, her eyes shining like coals. "What do you say?!"

Keanu shrugged before looking at the other two.

"Randal Roarton! Just what do you think you were doing?"

Randal? Randy looked at Marie with a raised eyebrow.

"You can't just go around talking to people like that! Being rude and threatening people is no way to make a good first impression. Even if they don't make the best first impression. That's no reason to go and be rude and give them a reason to not be nice. Now come here Mister."

Randy's eyebrow raised even higher now, before shrugging and slowly knelt down to Marie's level. He wish he didn't as he felt his ear being yanked on hard. J-JEEZ!!! How much torque is this kid putting on my ear!! OW!!! he thought, not wanting to say any of this out loud as he just wore a somewhat caught off guard face.

"Apologize to the hotel person, and we'll be on our way elsewhere."

"A-Apologize?! To this-" Thankfully Randy was cut off by a newcomer.

"Phew. That's some impressive lecturing skills you got there, Miss."

Randy looked over and saw a young Eevee gijinka make an appearance and even talking to the Gloom...Rafflesia, whatever kind of name that was, and mention that she thought the three of them were really cool. At least someone was thinking this way. The entire time the Incineroar eyed the Gloom, before standing up after Marie finally let go of his ear.

"What's your name? My name's Morgan! Oh wait, you probably know that by now...Umm...forget I said that! Oh yeah, what about you? What are your names?"

"Keanu. Resident cool head for these two,"

"Randy Roarton." he said, rubbing his ear some. "More of the muscle between the three of us. And to just say, Marie...it's RANDY. Don't call me Randal, please." He crossed his arms and closed his eyes a bit. "What kind of name even IS Randal?" he grumbled.

"I do say so! Also, you people are new right? I gotta show you around town then!"

"I think it's a bit late for that. Maybe tomorrow."

"Oh really? Yeah, you're right I guess. But you can still stay at my house! That is, uhh, if you want to. What do you say?!"

It was obvious that Keanu didn't care one way or the other, since the Pikachu looked laidback and lacksidaisy as always. Randy shrugged and uncrossed his arms before putting his hands into his pockets. "I don't have a problem with it, miss. Least you aren't judging us by appearance." he said, obviously making a jab at the Gloom.

As Marie had been pulling fiercely down on Randy's ear, she waited for him to give his apology before having her attention brought to another person. Looking around, accidentally tugging on the Incineroar's ear as she turned, she saw that the voice belong to some kind of gijinka that seemed to be around her age. While the girl complimented her, Marie seemed to well up with a bit of pride, saying, "thanks. It comes from years of practice." It was then that the receptionist behind them seemed to know just who this newcomer was, naming her as Morgan. Morgan then called the receptionist Ms. Rafflessia, and the two seemed to be pleasantly acquainted with one and another. Marie, still holding on to the ear of Randy though not actually putting any force behind it, was a bit confused by the exchange that was going on, only to then be taken slightly off guard as Morgan asked her her name. Letting go of Randy's ear, she pointed to herself saying, "my name's Marie." Despite the girl's apparent embarrassment at restating her name, Marie with a smile on her face said, "nice to meet you Morgan."

As the other two introduced themselves to the girl, Randy seemed oddly insistent on stating that his name was just "Randy." Marie figured that Randy was still a shortened form of his name, with Randal being the full one, and he was just really upset and or embarrassed about being called by it. Nevertheless, she merely nodded along to his suggestion to not call him that. Her face lit up again as Morgan offered to let her stay at their house, both wondering what the place was like and being overjoyed at having a place to stay. She shot a dirty look, her fingers going in a pinching motion, at Randy as he made a passive aggressive comment towards Ms. Rafflessia, only to then have the cheery look return on her face as she faced Morgan.

Walking over to the girl, smile on her face, Marie grabbed one of the hands of the girl shaking it and saying, "it would be really awesome if we could stay at your place. Thanks for offering Morgan!"

Juyu Team Showdown

"Ohoho, so many questions," the Crobat laughed, though there was a nervous edge to it as she glanced at the Fletchling. She took a step backward away from the young bird. "As for her...She's a bother," she said finally, looking reluctant to say more. "Well that's not much of a description..." Scarlet spoke with a hint of disappointment in her voice, looking down at the young bird. Veronica didn't seem to be too keen on talking more about Yuffie, as she moved onto Isole's question. "To answer your query, I am merely ascertaining her condition after the attack. I suppose I was rather vague, but for those that have met her, those words alone would be enough to identify her. She is not your ordinary performer, even amongst the talents of Juyu. To speak their language, she is a virtuoso, an unparalleled genius. Within a minute her performances can bring you back to the happiest, or saddest periods of your life, and by the time she is finished you leave transcended." She pursead her lips. "Genius like that is rarely found in the constant mind, and I must confess to some concern. After such a devastating attack, there is no telling what she might do."

"A performer...?" Scarlet thought out loud. She couldn't remember any performer that met her description off of the top of her head from her travels. She turned to Taiga and Tianzi, who seemed eager to start on their little adventure. "...yeah, I can't think of anyone. We'll keep an eye out for anyone that fits that, though. Just in case our paths cross again." She gave a wink at the Crobat before slowly making her way towards the rest of the group. "As much as I'd love to help you, we should really get going." She stopped, turning back to point at Yuffie. "Oh, uh...I know you not the most fond of her, but...we'll be leaving her with you." She shrugged, before waving. "I wish you the best of luck!" She returned to her route back to the rest of her companions, signalling Isole to follow her.

As she returned to the group, she placed her arm around both of them. "So, I assume you guys are ready to head out?" She said with a childish tone. She couldn't help it - the sooner she could get the past couple of days out of her mind, the better. Plus, it had been a while since they've had an actual adventure.

Team Alola, Day 6, Northshore

The group, much to Rafllesia's chagrin, followed Morgan out into the city. The sun was setting, casting a quite lovely glow across the rest of the city. Their journey would take them away from the beach and closer to the housing. However they were near the outskirts of the city where a large mansion, though not the one that the city was known for, was waiting for them.

Team Mac, Day 15, Southshore

Mac looked up at Suiten, no, Keldeo. "Took you long enough." She muttered. She had already figured it out since the day they met at the Ditto village. In fact she had told Keldeo himself that she knew who he was. But he, for stupid, according to Mac, reasons didn't want to parade around as a Legend. Even one in-training.

She had to admit she liked him better this way though.

Partially because he was closer to her height now.

"So you're leaving?" Mac said in slight disappointment. "I guess, if that's what you want, but don't you dare forget about me...us. One day I'll have to challenge you...And all of you as well." She said, gesturing to each of the Swords, to their amusement. "I'll let you off this time but we have to have a battle once things are...less crazy."

The trio, and Keldeo, said their goodbyes to the group.

After they had gone Mac sat near Latias, watching the girl stir in her sleep, clutching an orb that had formed after Latios's death. She seemed...calm while holding it.

----

Kah

It would take several hours but Kah would find herself encountering the pair she was looking, though likely not enthusiastically, for.

Edgelord was leaning against a tree, looking off into the distance. He didn't seem to react much to Kah's presence. Though if she looked closely she could see there was what appeared to be pain raging in his otherwise stoic gaze.

Ankou was asleep as she approached, laying on the ground with her head against a tree, but she opened her eyes when Kah got close. "So you came." She said, her voice not giving off any kind of emotion. She stood up and approached the Dragon. "You failed to help. In fact you may have even hindered. I don't want to have to clean up after your messes. That wasn't the deal now was it?" She tapped her chin with a finger, contemplating something. "But you did leave your group...granted this does make it harder to get another Legend." Ankou smiled at her. "I suppose I will send you elsewhere for now...but first."

Ankou leaned closer, face inches from Kah's own. "You think what that barbaric Cobalion did was proper punishment? No, I've got something more fitting in store for you. Edgelord over there failed me as well, letting a silly childhood friend come first, but he had his punishment already. Yours will be much more...special."

Ankou then kissed Kah on the lips, forcibly, and for a few moments there was nothing that indicated a punishment.

And then all Kah felt was pain. She felt as though her very Aura was being drained by the kiss. There was an agony that threatened to tear her in two, her head was on fire, her body was weakening by the second, and she fell close to death's door. Before the embrace of death fully embraced her Ankou pulled away and Kah fell to the ground. "Now let's get going. I wish to find somewhere more comfortable to sleep."

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 24, Water Route to Mioter

Easter suggested that they all stay on the deck so that they could see what was going on. Dora couldn't agree more. She rushed right towards the edge of the ferry, trying to see the whirlpools as best she could.

She'd have to be grabbed before she got all the way there or she'd possibly topple over.

The captain was giving orders and they were getting closer, closer....too close.

It was clear that the ferry was being pulled right towards one of the whirlpools. Water began splashing onto the deck as the vessel rocked back and forth, heading for the center of one of the whirlpools. If something wasn't done soon they'd be trapped in the raging waters.

Team Karaoke, Day 20, Adarid City

 "S-So, uh....that was weird, right? How...you know, you...uh..." He coughed awkwardly. "C-Can I ask why? I thought you and...you know...were a thing, so I don't understand...why..."

"Weird?" Fiona said. Ah, so that was weird for him. Well that wasn't exactly what she was going for. "Why...not? Was it that much of a problem?" Fiona looked at Lok with sad eyes, trying to make him feel guilty for saying that. She had to find the right way to use this boy, to get him on her side. The kiss was apparently not the right way to go about that so perhaps...she would make him feel bad. Yes, this seemed like it could work.

Fiona almost felt a twinge of guilt at her actions. She looked away from Lok, in part to cover it up, but also to add to the image of shy awkwardness she was trying to build up.

She couldn't help but glance at the arena where the others had gone. It was...yes, she was sure. One of them were in there...she could try and speak with them. Perhaps depending on who it was she could join them anyway. But, if she got the wrong person, then it could end in disaster for her...

-----

Gwen watched as Nine talked with this...man. He frightened her to say the least. He was strong and...he seemed to have no qualms about fighting so ferociously. It was all she could do not to leave on the spot. Should they really attempt to fight such a man? They had already fought that Xatu and she was strong on her own...This man seemed even stronger than that.

The decision was taken from her as Nine attacked them.

"I wasn't done talking with you, you know. Besides, even if Victini's here, then you're definitely going about it the wrong way to get his attention!"

Jabari felt the flames hit his back, something he'd become accustomed to back at Pride Rock, and he stopped his forward advance. He could hear the Houndoom approaching. "You would strike an opponent from behind?" Jabari muttered.

The man spun and met Nine halfway, punching the Houndoom in the gut and then firing off a Shockwave directly into him.

Vita, meanwhile, got to her feet. She looked towards Nine and a flash of realization hit her. "Small world." She muttered and cracked her neck. Seems there was still much more fight to be had.

Team Showdown, Day 22, Juyu

"If we're flying on you...I'll pay you 100 poke for each of them that gets dropped...Fufufu..."

"Well that's no good! Quincy of the Dragonite Express has never dropped a package and it wouldn't be good to start now! Well, you're not...packages. But she's never dropped a person before either! I...never carried one before but that's besides the point. You're safe in my hands!" She gave a thumbs up before realizing something. "Oh I should get the thing!"

She took off suddenly, kicking up dust and hitting Taiga with a sudden blast of wind.

Isole was starting to realize what this girl was really after. Was there...one of those? In THIS city? Maybe it wouldn't be so far of a stretch but...well that would certainly be something to see.

"So, I assume you guys are ready to head out?"

Isole sighed. Her group wanted to leave. She could stay but...it would be bothersome if it turned out to be nothing. So she shrugged and followed behind Scarlet, giving one, last, glance at the Crobat.

Quincy came back soon after....holding onto what seemed to be a chariot. But larger, and with a gate on the back. "Hi hi! For a mere 200 Poke I can get you all to Icecrown before you can say 'missing plot'! Well maybe not that fast but fast enough!"

Isole eyed the thing warily...but it was the fastest way to get there and it wasn't like there was anything left for them here right? She sighed and climbed onto the back of the chariot.

Mountains

Lucario relaxed his shoulders. The aura from Registeel had faded at last. It took most of the night but the Steel Golem was now laying dead at his feet, a hole through his chest where Lucario had shoved an Aura Sphere through the hardened body. Lucario grabbed his arm and winced. Fighting several legends in such a short time had made him a little slower. Registeel had managed to land a decent hit.

The other one approached him then, and he could tell from their Aura that they had failed. "I had her! Then Entei and Raikou came out of nowhere! I don't know where they went off to...Don't give me that look, er, that non-look, if you got a problem take it up with him. I am pissed right now and don't want to deal with your attitude."

Lucario turned towards the voice, slightly surprised. He shrugged and turned to leave. If there was no Legend left here he didn't care. The failure only meant there were more Legends for him to face. It wasn't up to him to punish the foolish lackey. At least they didn't get in the way of his fight that's all he cared for.

----

At The Same Time......

"Freaking knew there wasn't a Legend there why'd I buy this stupid travel guide...." The young Chaser kicked at a rock in frustration, having failed yet again to find a Legend.

Then there was an odd....feeling. A ripple. And he blinked....and something was standing in the road in front of him

An extremely tall Gijinka. Just standing there. Not moving in the slightest. The Chaser didn't know who they were but they were in the way and he was in a foul mood.

Regigigas wasn't sure what he was doing there. The Golems were dead, that much he could tell, but he wasn't sure why he had appeared here of all places. He didn't plan on moving. It wasn't his time. If someone was going around killing Legends then eventually someone would come across him. He didn't feel the urge to take any actions until then.

He heard...something. Some Gijinka was saying...words? Regigigas didn't know what he wanted. He didn't really care either...

"If I can't fight a Legend I might as well beat up some annoying beanpole right?" The Chaser charged the strange Gijinka, blade extending from his arm. He was going to cut this Gijinka down and maybe get enough Poke for some more of those travel guides. Surely one of them must have something useful in them.

The blade grew larger as he approached the Gijinka, flashing and practically quivering with Aura energy. "Taste my special attack, Maximum Aura Break Blade!"

He leapt up and brought the blade down towards the other Gijinka. This was it! He was going to show off his coolest move!

Regigigas lifted his arm as the Chaser approached. Right as the Gijinka got into range the Legend pushed his fist forward ever so slightly...and the Chaser felt bones breaking as he was sent flying several hundred feet, crashing into the ground repeatedly and losing consciousness after the second roll.

Slowly, very slowly, over the course of several minutes Regigigas lowered his arm and remained stationary as he stared off into the distance.

Dry those Eyes

Kazo heard Ari's soft wails and could only rub Ari's head. "Hey, it's alright now, little bro. Everything will be okay," He assured the cub. At the very leaast, he could say it's not a lie. He would do everything in his power to make sure both Ari and Mac stayed alive. He looked up as he heard Suiten finally give an answer.

"I'm in," the water type nodded at Terrakion, before turning to the group in front of him. "My apologies, but...I think some distance would do us all good. More than a night's sleep can grant." Kazo nodded. He expected this to be honest. After all, it wasn't like Kazo could depend on someone. Now he was taking care of two children in a dangerous world. But hey, sure, of course Suiten should go fight. It wasn't like he was stronger than the rest of them combined.

Kazo then realized he probably had some deep rooted bitterness. What he didn't realize until it was happening was that Suiten didn't exist. Not really.

"I am sorry for the deception," the gijinka said. Kazo blinked.

Of all the twists he went through today, this was the least expected of them all.

"Took you long enough." Mac muttered. Kazo's head whipped over to look at her. She knew?! How did she know? Why did she know?!

Kazo shook his head, sighing to himself. "Just when I thought the day couldn't get any crazier," He muttered. Well, after calming down a bit, Kazo could see why Sui---Keldeo would want to go with his fellow legends and save them. That would be a much better use of his time than staying here. "Well, good luck to you, Keldeo... don't do anything crazy out there," He joked, thinking back to the time he went swimming to the center of a whirlpool to hope he could plug it up and Suit--Keldeo had to save him. Yeah, he could see why the water type would want to leave.

When the Swords had left, Kazo stood up, still carrying Ari, walking over to get his jacket. It was a bit dusty, but that was nothing that smacking the cloth on his side didn't clean right off. Afterwards, he walked over to where Mac was, sitting down and placing his jacket on top of Latias, like it was a blanket. Hey, it wouldn't do any good to fight to save her only for her to catch a cold or something. Sighing, he began to think about over the past five days. Keldeo didn't stay long, but he sure left an impact, didn't he? Perhaps all legends were like that. It was barely an hour with Regirock, and look how much he affected all their lives. Finally, he decided to ask.

"So... how did you know Suiten was Keldeo? Did he tell you?" He supposed that made sense, what with Suiten apparently wanting to make Mac an apprentice and all.

Location: Forest (Day 15)

Poké: 290

Inventory: Poke Puff Bag (empty), Berry Case (contains 5x Spelon Berries)

Trees, trees, and more trees. Kah was getting sick of all these trees. She longed for mountains like she grew up near, like she hadn't seen since leaving home. But that wasn't going to be an option, was it? She was stuck with the trees, and as she continued her search for the people that were now becoming her allies, she eventually found just who she was looking for...as well as someone she would have preferred not to see again. Did Edgelord always look that way? It wasn't important; she was here for the Gardevoir.

"So you came. You failed to help. In fact you may have even hindered. I don't want to have to clean up after your messes. That wasn't the deal now was it? But you did leave your group...granted this does make it harder to get another Legend. I suppose I will send you elsewhere for now...but first."

But first what? The woman leaned in closer, her face just inches from Kah's. Was this a habit of hers or something?

"You think what that barbaric Cobalion did was proper punishment? No, I've got something more fitting in store for you. Edgelord over there failed me as well, letting a silly childhood friend come first, but he had his punishment already. Yours will be much more...special."

Kah had figured this would happen. After all, even if she didn't actually do much against the twins, she did still get in their way. However, Kah had expected her entire arm getting lopped off by the annoying bug over there, but found herself met with something else entirely. The Gardevoir's lips pressed up forcibly against Kah's own. She was frozen in shock. This was the punishment? It didn't make much sense at first, until she started feeling something not really associated with kissing. Pain. Like she'd never felt before. Like the life was leaving her body and being replaced with millions of shards of glass or thorns. Kah wasn't even aware this kind of pain was possible. She thought for sure she'd die.

However, just as Kah began to physically feel just as sure about her death as she did mentally, the faces of the Hydreigon and Gardevoir split apart. She felt weak. Like even lifting a finger was too much for her to manage. Kah helplessly fell to the ground. She couldn't move a muscle.

"Now let's get going. I wish to find somewhere more comfortable to sleep."

"Understood," Kah weakly mumbled. She lacked the strength to explain how this hindrance to Godslayer activity was a one-time-only thing.

Location: On a boat bound for Mioter (Team Neo Not Dark, Day 24)

Poké: 800

Inventory: Dusk Stone, Moo Moo Milk x3

The boat was moving into the whirlpools. This was bad. The ship was moving toward the center. This was bad, this was really bad. And Dora was running up to the railings! This was super bad! However, as much as she wanted to run over and pull Dora away, Fawkes's feet found themselves running in the opposite direction, to the side of the boat furtheset from the whirlpools. She gripped the railings like her life depended on it, and for all Fawkes knew or cared, her life did depend on it. She wasn't even going to try telling herself to stay calm. Fawkes knew well enough that in this kind of situation, there was no calm.

Only swirling watery graves. She didn't want to be the next one to get lost to these. "Dora!" she called out. "Get away from there!"
