Pokemon Gijinka: The Fallen God [IC/PG-16/Not Accepting]

Recommended Posts

"Oh my, he does seem to be having a strangely hard time. But no, he was more than adequate for me needs. Like when he fought that Snorlax who was protecting Regirock." The woman gave a cruel smile towards Kazo before firing off a Psyshock his way, pelting the Dragon with mental energy taken physical form. Kazo slide back from the attack, panting a bit.

"Dorian? What did you two do to him?!" Kazo snapped, getting into position to charge at her, but Grace suddenly called out to him.

"You shouldn't involve yourself in this. Your friends will need your help, let me deal with this villain."

She then swung her arm in an arc and a slashing blade of wind launched into Ankou, causing the woman to flinch. "Now now, none of that." She said, sounding not the least bit worried. "Such dangerous attacks. I'm surprised someone so violent is protecting something so precious."

"You're trying to protect Astrid, right? Well, she's my friend to, and I'll help protect her," Kazo stated. "Besides, those two are much more capable than you think... and they'd want me to help you anyways," He commented, Mac's comment of "That's what heroes do!" echoing in his head. Not to mention, he wanted a crack at them. Edgelord was a mad dog. She was the one holding the leash, he could tell. His fear was overwhelming, but his anger... it was worse.

He took a running start, rushing past the two in combat, headed to the tree. He jumped up, kicking off the tree and flipped into the air, cupping his hands over his mouth and firing a Dragon Breath at the Gardevoir. He hoped his movement would throw her off.

"That's ENOUGH." He snarled at Denku and charged forward, his arm this time glowing with green energy. "I'll get to Reshiram THROUGH YOU!"

"Come on then, BRING IT!" Denku cried out, his arm glowing with dark energy. He went to throw a punch, but before the fists could connect, a familiar voice called out...

"No more." The old man? What was he thinking of doi--- oh, Denku nearly tripped as he watched his opponent suddenly be suspended in air. Guess he could do more than read minds...?

"I think it is time to discard those disguises, is it not, Mew, Mewtwo?" Reshiram stated, which caused Denku blink. Mewtwo? Mew? Who were those two? The old man and the young kid transformed into... people he didn't recognize. He had to assume they were legends... but he never heard of them. Then again, he was never big into chasing. Although... for one that wasn't chasing legends, he sure was seeing a lot of them.

Mew went off to... heal Brooke, he believed, before Mewtwo began to speak again. "Let Sebastian's supporters know that I am taking his place. Clearly he is no longer fit to lead." The man knelt down by Sebastian and sighed. "Your thoughts were locked away so well. But now I can hear them clear. Your brother, you wanted to make Jirachi bring him back...even the Wishmaker cannot save the dead." He looked up at Denku. "As for your brother...I hope when you meet him again you stick together." his eyes drifted to Mew, who was smiling at Brooke as she came back into consciousness. "It's important to have someone by your side."

"That's my plan...," Denku muttered as he caught his breath from the battle. "I just wish I had a lead on where... he... WAIT!" He turned to see Kah. If he was lucky, he would be able to get the info out of her. This was his first real lead, and he'd be damned if he--- Denku could feel a bit of himself die as he saw Kah laying on the ground, dead. He clenched his fist. Guess he was damned. Rage began to fill his very being, his vision turning red. Why did this happen? A black aura surrounded him as his body subconsciously activated Outrage. His own lead, and she was dead! He got nothing out of her! Why? WHY DID THIS HAPPEN?!

He took deep breaths, trying to calm himself down. He couldn't lash out here, not with all these people around, not with all these kids here, but he was just so pissed!! Finally, he just sat his butt on the ground, hugging his knees and cursing under his breath. He was so mad, but this wasn't a moment to be like that. He saved a life, he... still lost his only lead. It almost felt like the universe itself was trying to keep him away from his brother. No good deed ever went unpunished for him...

What did he do to deserve this?

As Marie explained to Randy what had happened, it appeared that the people he was in the middle of fighting hadn't stopped just yet. As the masked people got up, Randy managed to stop one of them by flinging a chair at them, though the girl was paralyzed at yet another came towards her. With fear starting to seize her movements, the girl stood still as the masked man went to attack her, only for Randy to step in the way and take the attack for her. Worried about the Incineroar's condition, the girl looked nervously to him saying, "a-are you alright?" However, her concern seemed unfounded as the the man seemed to brush it off entirely, and checked on the condition of the other townsfolk. With that out of the way, the duo made their way back to the prison, looking for Keanu only to see that he and the Zoroark had vanished from sight.

The girl looked around, but seemed to find hide nor hair of them. Her breathing starting to pick up pace, wondering what might have happened to the pikachu, the girl looked towards the building saying, "c-come on Randy. Maybe they're in there!" Without waiting for him, the girl started to run into the building, looking around frantically for wherever her friend might've gone. However, the building was mostly empty. The jail cells that were likely occupied earlier today were entirely open and vacant. The only exception to this was the girl that they had met before coming to Mowloo, the Noctowl who they had spoke with. She was standing by herself, in the middle of a wide open jail cell. Seeing the familiar face, not really thinking much more on it, the instinctively asked, "a-are you okay?"

The Noctowl looked to the two, appearing not too much different then when they had seen her earlier in the day. "I am unharmed if that's what you are asking." Though this was true, physically, the girl's voice had a tired sound to it.

Taking this only as good news, the girl instinctively responded, "oh, well. That's good." As she nodded this, the girl then looked back to the Noctowl. It started to dawn on her that her being here was strange, as she was one of the masked people as well. Marie paused, unsure of what to say to her, unsure of what she even wanted to say. However, eventually the words came and in a scared voice the girl blurted out, "what- what's going on?"

"I guess Blake decided to attack the city and free us...Blake is our...leader."

"Is Blake the mean lo-," the girl stopped herself from insulting who the Noctowl considered their leader. "Er- the Zoroark that we saw earlier?"

"That would be him, yes."

Marie's eyes seemed to light up a bit, before asking, "well, we're looking for our friend who was with him, so, do you know where he might've gone?"

"If he tried to stop Blake he is probably dead."

Marie froze at the words, the shock of them evident across her face. The girl tried to form sentences and questions, but neither seemed to come to her. The panic was starting to become more evident across her face, as tears started to form in her eyes. There was no way he could be dead. No no no. He was fast. He was laid back sure, but he wouldn't ever get himself killed. There was no way that someone like Keanu would die in action... But what if he was? The girl started to breathe in more heavily, wondering what could've happened in the instant that she left him  - she left him. She left him by himself.

"The-there's no way he's d-" the girl didn't finish her sentence as she looked to Randy, seeming to look for something to assure her.

"Groudon, huh?"

"Mountains, Mountains, always Mountains!!!!!!!"

"But mountains are great. The water is cold and nice to get a morning swim in."

Tianzi was mostly neutral on the choice of battlefield, but the thought on facing Groudon made her both giddy and worry. Having done her research, she knew a little of what Groudon was capable of. Of course, she felt some excitement in fighting such an entity, but at the same time she was also worried. After failing to achieve any satisfying result with Solgaleo, she felt that she was still ways from being able to measure up to a legend. She wanted to be able to do something on the next fight. Somehow.

"Do you have any further information about the target? I'm not sure if I'm aware enough of this Groudon you're speaking of, Sir."

Team Karaoke, Day 27, Northshore

Nikora's shoulders slumped as Nine spoke. "You misunderstand. Right and justice doesn't matter anymore. It just needs to end."

"If you won't listen to reason... we'll have to stop you ourselves!"

Nikora gave a little nod as Lok spoke. He took the Thunderbolt without much a problem. He was watching the Rotom's approach and the Braviary tried to take advantage of this by diving in. The Cacturne brought up another Spiky Shield which the Braviary avoided by flying upwards. His arms glowed with power as he tried to slam them down on Nikora.

The Godslayer intercepted with a punch of his own. The attack struck the Braviary and it seemed the two were stuck together, while Nikora drained energy from him, before a concussive force blasted the Braviary away.

"Careful" the Flying type called out. "I think he's getting stronger..."

"It's too late. Your fate is sealed." Nikora said. He launched another volley of Pin Missiles at Nine. These seemed larger than before and, instead of a straight line, they curved into three seperate arcs. One above, one to the right, and one to the left.

Nearby the Blitzle crouched over Gwen's form, shivering in fear, as she watched the fight continue.

Team Alola, Day 14, Mowloo

"I...apologize?" the Noctowl said, after searching for the word. "You asked and, if someone faced Blake on their own, I doubt there's anything they could've done.."

"What is this?" The Tyranitar came into the prison, looking down at the Altaria guards laying on the ground, and at the nearly empty cell. "They all are running. All except this one. And you." He looked at Randy. "Some civilians told me you helped them. You have my thanks...It seems you were not on their side after all." He looked back at the Noctowl. "You, however, have much to answer for, girl. Many died tonight during this...rescue. Though it seems you were abandoned by those animals."

------

"You're surprisingly fast for someone who talks like a sleeping person." Blake said approvingly towards Keanu. The two, as well as a horde of natives, were running through the woods away from the city. "We'll be at the village soon. And you'll get to meet our Queen."

The village, as it turned out, was a wide scattering of huts. There were dozens of them with large distances, though not large enough to not be able to see the closest ones, between them. There were many people there, adults, children, elderly, even several animals that seemed to be pets. They gathered about as Blake returned and he spoke in their native tongue. Whatever he had said seemed to set off cheers and whoops from the group. They seemed celebratory and cheerful, hugging the former prisoners and offering food and water to the returning warriors.

Several people gathered around Keanu, seemingly checking him over, curious as to his rather different appearance and clothing. One of them offered a mask, like the ones the fighters had, to put on.

Blake let them at it for a while before giving them a command and having them fall back. "This is what I must protect. All these people, they wish only to live the life they are used to, but those in the city want to take it away. Because they think us 'animals' just because we live in the dirt and the trees. So we fight back....Do you wish to meet our Queen now, outsider?"

Team Showdown, Day 29, Sky Palace

Isole stared at Rayquaza as he gave them their task. Groudon? Really? On one hand a Ground type would be easy pickings for the group...under most circumstances. But Isole knew it wouldn't go that smoothly from what she heard about the Legend.
Which Rayquaza confirmed with his words. "Groudon is...one of the stronger of the Legendaries. Master of earth he took part in shaping the region itself. Adarid has been safe from invasion, unlike the other regions, which often were at war, because of the mountains he crafted. He is at home in the mountains and will use his immense strength at its peak there. Staying still means certain death. Even for one in the air. Be warned, his power will only grow as the fight continues. Do as much as you can as fast as you can or else he will overwhelm you."

It wasn't certain how they got there. But as soon as the group confirmed that they were ready they felt themselves torn from where they were and instead found themselves in the mountains. Unlike earlier these mountains weren't covered in snow but they were rocky, ridged, and difficult to traverse. The ground was rough and even making their way through it would wear on them.

The grey stone all looked the same so it would be hard to get their bearings. Though they were transported there facing two curving peaks and, as they went that way, they could feel the sun becoming hotter and hotter.

As they walked over the peak the sun in the sky was intensely hot and, on the other side, stood a nine foot tall man with his back towards the group. Groudon was staring up into the sky, seemingly unaware that anyone had disturbed his solitary meditation. He was standing in the middle of a patch of earth that was surrounded by a pool of lava on all sides. The heat wasn't unbearable however the temperature was certainly above what they would be used to. Isole herself was panting from the heat.

Team Mac, Day 26, Weynon

"Stupid brat...and what the hell you mean grass?" Edgelord said as Ari charged for him. However the straight-forward attack seemed to be a mistake as his blade was coming down...and struck Ari in the head. However, perhaps it was because of the hardened head due to the Headbutt, it didn't actually cut across him. It did cause enough force to slam Ari down into the ground though.

Edgelord placed his foot onto Ari's head and scoffed. "You're barely worth fighting." He muttered.

And then he was struck in the eyes by Mac's Mud-Slap attack. "Dammit! Stupid...kids, and their...pokes and prods." He said, stumbling off of Ari as he wiped the mud from his face.

"We're not gonna give up, villain! That's what you get for being...a jerk!" Mac said, pointing dramatically.

"You need better lines, kid...." He let out a sigh.

---

"Astrid? Ha, some girl isn't worth my time." Ankou said. "No, what they're protecting is something much more important." She watched as Kazo made his rather exciting motions. Though the attack that followed caused her to let out a tinkling laugh. "You silly Dragons..." She muttered as she stood there and let the attack hit her. There was damage dealt, that much was clear, but it didn't seem like much.

However... "You spend your time taunting one enemy and you forget the other!" Grace came in and slashed Ankou across the side with a Leaf Blade.

The Gardevoir turned to retaliate but Grace shot out a string shot which wrapped its way around her mouth.

Anger flashed in Ankou's eyes as she teleported away from the two, towards the tree. She couldn't say much but the gloating look in her eyes made her intent clear. As she stepped backwards her eyes glowed with Psychic energy and both Kazo and Grace would be struck with Psyshock.

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 29, Mioter

Dora looked around at the scene. Bad things happened. But also good things? Dora decided to focus on the good things. Like Brooke! Brooke was a good thing and an awake thing so Dora waddled over to her and sat down, more like fell down, next to her. "Look, Brooke, my friend made you feel better!" She smiled at Mew, who smiled back, though the Legend winced a moment later and looked over at Denku.

Dora, as well, looked over at him. "Is it nap time? Or...is hero-man okay?" Dora sounded somewhat concerned but also unable, as she was on the ground, to get up to check.

Mew, after looking over and smiling at Brooke again, wandered over to Denku. She patted him on the head before pulling him into a hug. She didn't say anything, is was doubtful that she could, but an emotional warmth exuded from her.

Reshiram looked down sadly at the fallen Dragon. "Death comes to all. But some rush to it far too soon." He looked over towards Easter. "I don't have to be Psychic to tell you wish to battle me. It will have to wait. I've gotten the truth now. Our enemies are more determined than I had imagined. And there will be more. I must go to my brother now. Perhaps together we can stand against this tide...and after, if you wish, you may fight us both."

If no one else stopped him Reshiram would take his leave then, pausing only when Mewtwo told him to take Kah's body with. It seemed that the Hydreigon had had one last request before passing.

After this Mewtwo's gaze wandered the field. "That thing...it called itself Genesect. I heard its last thoughts. If you could call it thoughts. It was created...created to kill us. Reshiram is right. These enemies are more dangerous than I could have imagined." He glanced at the group. "Alone we will fall. Not just the Legends. But the world. I know what they are after now. They wish to kill Arceus. Such a thing...would cause immeasurable damage to this world." He swept his vision around to all of the group. He glanced over at Horatio. "And you, take this boy, secure him, he must not be allowed to cause any more harm." Horatia lifted Sebastian, who hung limply in his grasp, and dragged him away.

"...I don't know what's going on." was Dora's response.

Randy didn't say much as Marie led him back to where she left Keanu and Blake. He felt angry...furious...but this wasn't anyone's fault right now. And it especially wasn't Marie's. She did what Keanu said to do, which was get the hell outta dodge. Plus, neither one knew about the specifics about what Blake confided in with him...

"C-come on Randy. Maybe they're in there!"

For Keanu's sake...I hope to Arceus he is... he thought, quickly moving in right behind Marie, both of them entering the prison. Unfortunately, all they really saw were empty cells, Altaria guards on the ground, and of course, the Noctowl he had protected earlier in a cell with the gate wide open.

But...there was no sight at all of Keanu and Blake. Randy's heart sank slightly and his hand began to ball into a tight fist.

"What- what's going on?"

"I guess Blake decided to attack the city and free us...Blake is our...leader."

"Is Blake the mean lo-...Er- the Zoroark that we saw earlier?"

"That would be him, yes."

"Well, we're looking for our friend who was with him, so, do you know where he might've gone?"

"If he tried to stop Blake he is probably dead."

Randy was a bit upset now that the Noctowl basically confirmed exactly what he thought, but what was worse, she immediately said it to Marie like this. If that was only where it stopped being bad. No...the Popplio was now looking at him for an answer.

"The-there's no way he's d-"

He was quiet for a good long minute, before sighing. "Marie..." the Incineroar started. He wasn't sure how to say it, but he finally did just say it. "Blake isn't playing. He tried to bust me out...just because I stood up for them." Randy glanced at the Noctowl before looking back at Marie. "What HE was wanting, was to take me and pretty much leave you and Keanu for dead because you both didn't help. Since I'm still here...you can take a wild guess what I chose. But..." he knelt down and put his hand on Marie's shoulder, looking at her with a fierce fire in them. "I will make sure Keanu doesn't. You have my word, Marie."

"I...apologize? You asked and, if someone faced Blake on their own, I doubt there's anything they could've done.."

"Well...there is one thing to take into account for..." Randy said, standing back up. "Keanu is unpredictable. There's PLENTY he could do." He was going to speak more to the Noctowl, but was halted immediately when he heard the voice of the Tyranitar again.

"What is this? They all are running. All except this one. And you. Some civilians told me you helped them. You have my thanks...It seems you were not on their side after all."

The Incineroar looked at the Tyranitar and nodded firmly. "I'm just doing what I thought was right. No one deserves to die..." he said, still having what Blake said earlier on his mind.

"You, however, have much to answer for, girl. Many died tonight during this...rescue. Though it seems you were abandoned by those animals."

"Sir. If I may..." Randy started. "I would like to talk to her myself. She's probably a lot more comfortable with someone who at least tried to stand up for her and her group."

"I am not concerned with her comfort. Not after what these people did." His eyes went immediately to the dead Altaria in the room.

"...fair enough. But I ask that you would let me talk to her either way. Honestly, what have you got to lose?" Randy asked, crossing his arms slightly.

"I'm not going anywhere." the Tyranitar said, crossing his arms in response.

The girl looked between the two. "I...don't know what you expect me to answer."

"Fine..." Randy simply said, before turning and moving towards the Noctowl, sitting down right in front of her. "Ma'am...you know what I want the answer to. ...where is he?"

"In the village." she responded with some confusion.

Randy nodded, before sighing slightly. "Alright...I'll come back to that in a moment...so I'll ask something else." he said, closing his eyes, arms still crossed. "He said, that the Mowloo residents accused and hated you all because they thought you were savages. And he..." Randy pointed back at the Tyranitar. "...well his associates, rather, said you were murderers and killed dozens of travelers...and given what happened here, I can see part of that was true. But, I want the honest truth, why do the Mowloo residents hate your kind?"

"I'm...not them." the Noctowl simply answered. "We live as we live, they live as they live."

"Hmm...is that why he left you here?" Randy asked, finally opening his eyes to look at the Noctowl. "Because you don't happen to share his ideals or somethin'?"

"He did not leave me here. I am not his property. I stayed here."

This actually caught Randy off guard for a moment. She...stayed? Meaning Blake didn't decide to just leave her here...? He exhaled quickly before raising an eyebrow. "You stayed? ...No one forced you to." he said, seeing if he got that right. "Pīhoihoi...why stay?"

"Leaving means continuing to fight. I have no desire to do so. I thought the others felt the same but it seems that Blake's way is their choice."

He nodded slightly, understanding somewhat. They all had the same type of want that Blake did: fight and end the lives of those who scorned them. "...well if that's all..." Randy started, looking at the Noctowl, before giving a small smile. "...then you actually chose a path that might actually make things different for others. Especially if they follow after your lead..."

"It may be too late for that." The Noctowl said and looked towards the Tyranitar. "Blake isn't going to stop, and that one will fight back."

"Well...he'll have to get in line." Randy chuckled, pointing a thumb at the Tyranitar. "I've already mentioned before...Blake is mine."

The Tyranitar grunted. "I don't care who stops him. But tomorrow we march on their village to put an end to his madness."

"The Queen will respond to this chaos" she said slowly to herself.

Edgelord placed his foot onto Ari's head and scoffed. "You're barely worth fighting." He muttered.

"We all become grass in the end, but you made him into it too soon..." Ari squirmed in place for a second until he heard the sound of something wet splat against Edgelord above him. "Dammit! Stupid...kids, and their...pokes and prods," the probably steel type grumbled as he stumbled off of the lion. As the cub picked himself off the ground, he saw Mac point dramatically as she started to speak.

"We're not gonna give up, villain! That's what you get for being...a jerk!"

"You need better lines, kid...." Edgelord let out a sigh.

Ari glared at the bug type, but said nothing. Charging in hadn't done anything, so it was time to be sneaky now. Like Kaitlin! He spat out some Embers at the man, a couple going out in smoke and another blowing up in his face, causing him to cough. He wished he were older and better with fire attacks, but he would just have to get better.

"S, Somehow, yeah..." Fawkes replied. "I'm just glad everyone's okay. Hold on, where is it..." the Zorua reached into the small bag at her side, feeling around in its contents before pulling out a glass bottle, full of delicious Moo Moo Milk. She held it out toward the Sylveon, and said "Here. You probably need this more than I do right now."

"Aww, thank you," Easter patted the kit's head at that, accepting the milk gratefully, and unscrewing the cap to take a sip. "You're so considerate," not like other dark types, he thought. Looking back at the group, he saw that Mew had healed Brooke and breathed a sigh of relief. She's awake and alive. Deciding then and there not to challenge the psychics for that action alone, the fairy type looked down at the fox again. "Come on, let's head back to the others," he said, attempting to grab her hand and lead her back to the group.

While he knew that Fawkes was able to take care of herself pretty well for her age, he still didn't like the idea of her being on the outside. It was safer during the fight, but now it just seemed like she was asking to get kidnapped or something.

As he approached, Reshiram looked down sadly at the fallen dragon in front of him.

The Sylveon breathed out through his nose, attempting for serenity, a feat made much easier with Fawkes nearby. He already knew that this was how it would end; he couldn't let his disappointment overwhelm him. "A dragon in the hand is worth two in the bush," he replied, tone wry, but accepted the rain check otherwise gracefully. "I will hold you to that."

The white dragon left soon afterward, while Mewtwo stood off to the side, speaking. Such a thing...would cause immeasurable damage to this world." He swept his vision around to all of the group, ordering the Spiritomb from before to take Sebastian away.

"Bye bye," Easter waved at the Gallade cheerfully, all too happy to see the creep go. Flirting with a guest was quite undignified after all, poor Brooke.

He snapped his attention back to Mewtwo's words soon afterward. "Hmm...Genesect huh?" he mused. "And these people wish to kill Arceus? Ambitious..." he could respect such desires, after all, they were similar to his own. Though he didn't particularly desire for the death of the legendaries...except maybe Thundurus, or one of the dragons. He wouldn't be too sad to see them go.

"You're surprisingly fast for someone who talks like a sleeping person," the Zoroark, who had introduced himself as Blake, said approvingly towards Keanu. The two, as well as a horde of natives, were running through the woods away from the city. "We'll be at the village soon. And you'll get to meet our Queen."

"Heh..." Keanu grinned at the dark type. "It's all about conserving energy, ya? Why waste it talking when you could be using it for running or surfing instead?"

Soon after, they arrived at the village, which was more like a wide scattering of huts, large distances between each building. Several people including adults, children, elderly, and small animals that looked to be pets gathered about as Blake returned and he spoke in their native tongue. Whatever he had said seemed to set off cheers and whoops from the group. They seemed celebratory and cheerful, hugging the former prisoners and offering food and water to the returning warriors.

Keanu grinned at their infectious cheer before being approached by several himself. They seemed curious about him, and he made the traditional Alolan wave at them. He had started to get cold feet earlier, but these gijinka seemed nice enough, that he was starting to calm down a little. One of them offered a mask, like the ones the fighters had, to put on, which the Pikachu accepted gratefully with a smile. Putting it on he forgot, momentarily, that they couldn't understand him. "How do I look?" he asked, making his special pose, the same one he used whenever he performed his personal move.

"Yeah, I can see that," Keanu nodded agreeably. "These people...they ain't done nothing wrong, right? They don't deserve to be treated badly just cuz they're there," that cranky Tyranitar had talked about the natives murdering gijinka left and right, and before. Before, he had decided not to get involved. Because, honestly, Keanu was a selfish being. He didn't really care to get himself wrapped up in a bunch of incidents when he would rather just sleep or surf. But Randy had defended the natives, and gotten himself thrown in prison. There had to be a reason for that, right? He couldn't imagine a bunch of kupuna or keiki attacking people willy-nilly.

This all started because he didn't want to fight, and while he still wasn't really into that idea, he was getting more into it as he looked at the faces of the native people in front of him. He knew full well how it felt like to want to live your life like normal, and to suddenly be interrupted in the middle of it by strangers. He, Randy, and Marie had been forced to flee because of that, and he wasn't too thrilled at the thought of seeing that particular scenario happen again. "Yeah, sure," the Pikachu nodded seriously, squaring his shoulders. "Please...take me to your Queen."

Nine grimaced as the Cacturne had seemed intent on fighting. Not for justice. Not for a righteous cause. Simply because. He figured there had to be a reason why a man as powerful as him could be so driven, and killing for the sake of killing probably wasn't it. Clearing out one of the pin missiles, Nine avoided to the side, letting loose a stream of flame at the Cacturne. As he did, Nine merely said, "you know there are easier ways to die than this, right?"  Bringing his arms up, he managed to form a shield, not responding to the boy's words at all. Stopping Nine's flamethrower he then launched yet another volley of spikes, this time faster than the last. As the two on the side were arcing towards him, the boy shot flame at the one up top, rushing forward to avoid the other two. As he did, however, the Cacturne fired a dark pulse of far more strength than before.

Bringing up his own arms, Nine started to let loose a stream of flames yet again. The two attacks seemed to be equal in strength, Nine managing to cancel out the dark pulse with his flamethrower. Though he was successful in repelling the attack, it was just barely, and thus Nine grimaced at the realization that he was completely outclassed and couldn't win if things continued this way. He needed to have something tip the scales in his favor here. As the Cacturne fired off yet another fast volley of Pin Missiles after the Houndoom, almost immediately after the dark pulse, the Braviary swooped in to deliver his attack.  Nine, however, unable to retreat at this moment, let loose a stream of flame to stop as many of the missiles as he could, though as it was impossible to stop them all, he merely let out a yelp of pain as one of the missiles had stabbed into him.

Team Showdown - Sky Palace

"Groudon is...one of the stronger of the Legendaries. Master of earth he took part in shaping the region itself. Adarid has been safe from invasion, unlike the other regions, which often were at war, because of the mountains he crafted. He is at home in the mountains and will use his immense strength at its peak there. Staying still means certain death. Even for one in the air. Be warned, his power will only grow as the fight continues. Do as much as you can as fast as you can or else he will overwhelm you."

"Well if it's all about Fast, I got it covered.  Consider Groudon as good as dead."  She rethought the phrase in her head for a bit, and then spoke again.  "Um...I mean converted!  Fufufufu!"  She looked to the rest of the group, and nodded her head.  "Ready?"  As soon as the others had agreed, they were whisked away in an instant.  She stood there, disoriented for a moment, hold a hand over her mouth.  "W-well that was weird..."  The view wasn't what she was expecting either.  Instead of snow, all she saw were jagged rocks jutting from the mountain's face.  There, sitting away from them, was the big man himself.  Groudon.

Taiga placed two fists on her hips, as she walked up to him.  The heat from the surrounding lava was making her start to sweat.  A prolonged fight here would not be good...her skin was already shriveling up at the mere presence of such heat.

"Yo!  Big, red, an' ugly!  You better do me a favor, and come quietly!  Well...if not for me...then Rayquaza.  Or else..."  She smashed a fist into her palm and smiled, "We're gonna have to drag you to that castle!!!  FUFUFUFU!"

"That thing...it called itself Genesect. I heard its last thoughts. If you could call it thoughts. It was created...created to kill us. Reshiram is right. These enemies are more dangerous than I could have imagined. Alone we will fall. Not just the Legends. But the world. I know what they are after now. They wish to kill Arceus. Such a thing...would cause immeasurable damage to this world."

Kill Arceus? Fawkes was no expert on Legends by any means, but she was pretty sure that was impossible. Then again, there were a lot of things that had happened recently that she thought was impossible. Entire cities being demolished in the span of a couple hours (even if Deku probably wasn't famed for its outstanding structural integrity), songs that summoned Lugia to stop whirlpools, metallic enemies that looked like something out of a comic book... the more Fawkes thought about it, the more she was starting to think that killing Arceus actually was possible.

That was a pretty serious goal. Not something you'd try to do without knowing how to go about it, right? Oh boy.

"...I don't know what's going on."

"Bad stuff," Fawkes answered. Trying to explain the details to Dora would probably go over the Wooper's head, right? She was blissfully oblivious to everything around her... Fawkes felt a bit jealous of that trait for a moment. So really, it was just the question of what could be done about those guys trying to kill Arceus, right? She hadn't felt particularly useful before, but this dwarfed that entirely. If they even thought they could pull it off, what was Fawkes supposed to do against that?

It was probably best to stay out of the way and let the stronger people handle the fighting if it came down to that.

"What are you going to do about their plan?" Fawkes asked, turning her attention toward the recently-unveiled Mewtwo.

"Quickly, huh?" Scarlet spoke to herself, claw on chin. She turned to Rayquaza. "Well, we better not waste any more time here then!" She said, a bit more excitedly than she had wanted to. She turned to Taiga. "Let's knock some sense into Groudon!" She replied, clearly ready to head out.

Almost as soon as everyone was ready, they were there. She wasn't exactly sure how they had got there, and felt a bit dizzy after it. It was almost as if they had been ripped from where they were and plopped onto the mountains. It didn't matter; they were there now. She turned to Groudon, who was in sight. "We don't want to fight unless we have too. Please come with us and make it easy on all of us; the world needs you." She said, although deep down she really did want to fight Groudon.

Lok watch as Nikoria made no attempt to even block the attack, taking the blow directly. And yet, there was no sign that the attack had even affected the Godslayer. In fact, after a bit of staring, it seemed like the Godslayer was completely ignoring Lok! This angered the rotom, but didn't surprise him - the power difference between the two was probably massive, maybe even moreso than with the Xatu. Lok's eyes shifted from Nikoria to Gwen and the Blitzle, who were still at the Godslayer's feet.

Lok decided to make himself useful - if he couldn't hurt the Nikoria, he could at least get Gwen and the girl out of harm's way. Glancing at one of the pebbles below his feet, an idea formed. It was dangerous in its own right, but Nikoria seemed occupied. Taking a deep breath, Lok entered the stone and started rolling as carefully as he could towards the two, making sure not to move in ways that might catch the Godslayer's attention.

Kazo didn't expect much damage, but he just didn't want to get close to her... thankfully his moves distracted the Gardevoir long enough for Grace to attack her and web her mouth shut. That was cool, but then the Gardevoir fired off the Psyshock, causing Kazo to be tossed back, skidding across the ground. Panting he looked at Grace. What could they be protecting? He wanted to know, but now was not the time. He shook his head and began to dig under the ground again. He was waiting this time. He would wait for the Gardevoir to be distracted before he attacked. Maybe he could even make her paranoid. He could only hope...

"Is it nap time? Or...is hero-man okay?" Dora sounded somewhat concerned but also unable, as she was on the ground, to get up to check. Mew wandered over to Denku, patting him on the head before pulling him into a hug. She didn't say anything, is was doubtful that she could, but an emotional warmth exuded from her.

Denku said nothing either. He just wrapped an arm around her and hugged. He didn't have the emotional strength to do anything else right now.

As the conversations continued, Marie's fears and worries were not eased at all. In fact, as Randy spoke they were more exacerbated than anything else. More and more worried for Keanu's well being, her thoughts going back to how she had merely left him alone with a madman. She wasn't quite sure what to say as the man in charge of the town guard came back and started to talk with Randy. The girl seemed to be ebbing away from the conversation, knowing that things were reaching a point of violence between the Blake and the guard man, but she was a bit lost and unsure as to what she could even say. As she did, however, she looked to the Noctowl, as she mentioned something about their queen.

Looking to the girl curiously, Marie asked, "the queen?"

"Yes, the Queen. Queen of Death. She is...important to us."

Marie seemed a bit off put by the ominous sounding name before asking, "does- does she also not like all the violence?"

"She..is violence." The Noctowl said, pausing to try and find the right words.

"Oh..." The girl paused for a moment before asking, "so um...does she side with Blake then?"

"She does not...side."

"So, only bad things will happen for both people then?"

She nodded. "Bad things coming, yes. Bad things everywhere, now is our turn."

Marie was quite troubled by this, and unsure of what to make of this whole "Queen" thing. All that she did know was that there was something bad waiting to happen. As such, she tried to plead with the head guard saying, "hey Mister, isn't there something else we could do. I mean, if you go and fight then more people could d-die and then everything is just worse." The girl was unsure how she would convince this man otherwise, her thoughts all jumbled, but she definitely had the feeling that a lot of people would die if everything continued as it was. And, while she was trying to convince herself that Keanu couldn't be dead, if this Queen did something she was certain that there would be no more convincing herself otherwise.

Brooke hadn’t been unconscious. She wished she had been, but no, worse—she had completely conscious but unable to move so much as a muscle. No matter how much she willed herself to get back to her feet it didn’t work. She was nothing but a spectator to the events unfolding now.

She wasn’t phased by the revelation of Mew and MewTwo. She had barely heard of them before and seeing a legendary was becoming commonplace. She was grateful when Mew healed her, murmuring, “thank you.” She hugged Dora close to her when the little Wooper wobbled over, pushing herself into a sitting position to get a better view of the situation.

Sebastian turned out to be deranged. Shocker! Not. Brooke hadn’t trusted him from the very beginning. She had learned to trust her instincts and she was a good judge of character. Sebastian had reeked of phoniness.

MewTwo revealed that someone was hunting down the legendaries. They planned to kill Arceus eventually. It should have shaken Brooke to the core… but instead, she just felt apathetic. She pushed herself up to her feet and collected her hat from Fawkes, thanking the girl, then planting it back on top of her head.

She faced MewTwo and fixed him with a tired look of defiance. “I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but we’re not a group of warriors. Easter might help you if you promise him a good fight, but the rest of us aren’t interested in your war.” She blew air through her nose and smoke drifted out, a telltale sign she was angry. “I’m just trying to find somewhere safe for these kids, but you and all your kind just won’t make that easy for us! This’ll make three! Three cities we’ve been to, three cities you all have blown up! So give me just ONE good reason to help you, because right now, if Arceus is anything like the rest of you I’m thinking we might just better off letting it play out!”

Team Alola, Day 14, Mowloo

"hey Mister, isn't there something else we could do. I mean, if you go and fight then more people could d-die and then everything is just worse."

The Tyranitar looked down at the girl and his eyes softened. He glanced over at the Altaria, dead, and the cell door, open. "We shouldn't stay here, come." He said, locking the cell, giving the girl inside an analytical look, then led the pair outside of the prison.

There were several militia members there, telling their captain about the status of the people. He ordered them to find any of the wounded and get them treated, and to, his voice shaking slightly, gather the dead for burial.

Once they set off the man gestured the two to follow him. "You have no where to stay and your friend is missing, you'll stay at my home for now. Just for tonight, though." He still hadn't answered Marie's question and was silently stewing as they headed through the city.

The building they came to was simple, nothing extravagant, but it did seem too large for just one person to stay in. It also looked newly, relatively, built. At the doorstep he turned to the two. "I wished to resolve this without a large attack. My goal was to prevent them from hurting anyone else. But now that they came here it shows they've grown more bold. This leader of theirs, this...Blake. He must be stopped before they attack again. There's no more time for any other way."

He rubbed his temple. "This place was supposed to be safer." He muttered.

-----

Blake seemed to like Keanu's answer. "You're much more noble than that other one, you know that?" He said as he led Keanu deeper into the village. The farther they got the less homes they found. But also the more natives. After a certain point there was no longer any homes in sight as the trees began to grow closer together. However there were at least two dozen warriors among the trees. They looked more somber than the ones nearer to the village and soon Keanu would see why.

In the center of a trio of huge trees, trees that seemed to be so close together they were practically growing as one, was what could only be described as a shrine.

There were several wooden statues. Effigies, made in the likeness of what the natives believed the "civilized" people to look like, surrounded it. All of them seemed to have been damaged over time. And, as Blake got near, he attacked one with a Night Slash. It seemed to be a ritual when coming to this place and he turned to Keanu as if expecting him to follow suit.

In the middle of all this was what could only be described as a cocoon. A red aura radiated from it and Keanu would feel an urge to destroy wash over him. However, due to the Pikachu's nature, it didn't overtake him entirely.

"Keanu, ally of my people, this is our Queen. Or, as your people refer to her...Yveltal."

Team Mac, Day 26, Weynon

Ari's flames, at least some of them, reached Edgelord. The embers struck him in the chest and he winced in pain. "That's the spirit!" Mac said. "Now again, more like...this!" She launched out a Thundershock at Edgelord as well. The small bolt hit the same area as the Ember but didn't seem to do much more.

"You annoying, BRATS!" Edgelord said, finally growing tired of this. He crouched down and placed his hands on the ground. Two blades of energy shot from the ground and raced towards both Ari and Mac.

Mac was prepared to jump out of the way but her attention fell on Ari. Would he be able to get out of the way in time? He wasn't as fast as she was...

--

Ankou mumbled something unintelligible at Kazo as he dug under the ground. Though once he was out of sight she focused again on Grace.

As the Leavanny charged her she fired off a Thunderbolt. The attack was swift, and Grace didn't bother to dodge it. She had expected to be able to handle such an attack, as it shouldn't be effective, but the power behind it was more than she had expected.

She clenched her teeth as the electricity coursed through her, and she felt her left arm tingling. With her right she swung her Leaf Blade at the Gardevoir. But Ankou was no longer there.

She had teleported again and now stood in front of the door. She ripped the string from her mouth and glared at Grace.

Her body glowed with energy as Grace found herself encircled by what appeared to be flower petals. As she stood in the midst of these petals she felt her energy being sapped from her and she fell to a knee.

The petals glowed bright and seemed to sharpen as they swirled faster around the woman. "I tire of this. You can die now."

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 29, Mioter

"Ambitious indeed." Mewtwo muttered towards Easter. He could sense that these people were less than willing to heed his words. The Sylveon was...troublingly close to those who would destroy them. He sensed the Pupitar was simply worn from his adventures. He was their best bet, still, however. The Emboar's anger he had sensed long before she spoke and he could tell the Zorua had...other things in mind.

Perhaps amusingly the only one that truly seemed to be on his side here was the Wooper. The Zorua had asked him his plan and he was distressed to realize he had none.

Mew was attending to Denku, still, in her rather unique way. Which left Mewtwo with...

That one. Mewtwo's gaze went to the girl. It was sharp. He hadn't want to reveal himself at all and now that things have come to this he had to try and convince someone that it was worth fighting? "I have avoided the world for a long time." Mewtwo began. "A mistake, possibly, but the world had been taking a path separate from us for many years. Or should I say separate from her..." He looked at Mew. "I may not be worth the worship they once got but that one is. I was frightened by what I felt in the world. A change. A change that could endanger one as innocent as her."

He stopped himself, a small smile creeping on his face. "I seem to still have my habit of monologuing." He shook his head and stood up straighter. "Thunderus was a relic of a past. Too used was he to worship that he never could adapt to this new era. His mistakes were unforgivable but many do not share his temperament. Kyurem was never truly one of them. He was a monster, sealed away through the sacrifices of Zekrom and Reshiram. And here..." He looked about. "The Godslayers will stop at nothing to kill even one Legend, that is what this fight revealed to me."

He looked directly at Brooke. "You wonder why you should care. Why you should help. In honor of Reshiram I will give you nothing but the truth. If they succeed in slaying Arceus this world will end. She who created this world...Without her the world cannot be. Perhaps they found a way to take her power but even at that they are the only ones who will survive to walk whatever world they can manage to create. If they win each of us will cease to be. I am not asking you to fight. At least not now. A time will come where you must choose to do battle or stay behind. Right now what I want from you...is to find a child."

He gestured at Mew. "Mew has a friend. One who she used to speak to all the time...in her own way. But she has not heard from them in a long time. They are Phione, child of Manaphy. The only true child born to a Legend to exist. Something has happened to them and it has caused Manaphy to hide away from the world. I have to stay here. This city is in danger now more than ever and someone needs to make sure it does not fall. And you are perhaps the only people who can reach Phione."

He looked at Dora. "Or rather you are the only one. The last place Mew sensed Phione was in your old home. In Merm. I know you do not wish to return but I fear something terrible will happen to Phione and Manaphy if they aren't found."

He looked back at Brooke once more. "You may not be interested, but I know she wishes to help." He smiled. "And somehow I feel that no one can stop her from doing what she wants. Never before had I expected to meet one as stubborn as Mew."

The aforementioned Legend stuck her tongue out at him and he simply shrugged.

Team Karaoke, Day 27, Northshore

Nikora noticed as Lok vanished but it was of no matter to him. As the Braviary tried to strike the man sent up another Spiky Shield to block him.

"It's no use!" The Braviary called out. "We can't break through like this! We need to find another way!"

Nikora shook his head. "There is no way. Its already over. You are not enough to stop me." He blasted the Braviary with another Dark Pulse. A massive wave of dark energy that brought the older man to the ground. He then launched another volley of Pin Missiles at Nine. They curved upwards and rained down towards him. They had grown in size, and speed, from before. Worse yet was the spread of the volley. They rain of pins covered a circular area ten feet in diameter around Nine.

The Braviary grunted as he stood, talons flashing as he readied himself to attempt to attack again. "There is no invincible opponent." He told Nine. "There must be a way!"

Team Showdown, Day 29, Groudon's Mountain

"Yo!  Big, red, an' ugly!  You better do me a favor, and come quietly!  Well...if not for me...then Rayquaza.  Or else..."  She smashed a fist into her palm and smiled, "We're gonna have to drag you to that castle!!!  FUFUFUFU!

"We don't want to fight unless we have too. Please come with us and make it easy on all of us; the world needs you."

Isole looked somewhat incredulously at the two. She knew from their brief experience together that they both would love to fight Groudon. She was surprised that one of them hadn't attacked Groudon straight out while they had a chance.

Well, she wasn't going to be the one to do it.

Groudon turned slowly towards the voices. He hadn't seen another Gijinka in a long time and he wasn't quite sure how they got there. But now that they were here...."Is that why you came? So much effort to tell me to go into the world?" His voice rumbled the very ground as he spoke. "Why? I used so much energy to shape this place. I fought several times to protect it. To allow it to become a place that would hunt us. Long before we were targeted for death you have come to face us to gain power. No longer out of shared respect but for greed. You have grown weak, petty, and now we die for your sins...I have no desire to return to that world."

Team Showdown - Groudon's Mountain

"Is that why you came? So much effort to tell me to go into the world?" His voice rumbled the very ground as he spoke. "Why? I used so much energy to shape this place. I fought several times to protect it. To allow it to become a place that would hunt us. Long before we were targeted for death you have come to face us to gain power. No longer out of shared respect but for greed. You have grown weak, petty, and now we die for your sins...I have no desire to return to that world."

Taiga looked past the Legendary, unenthused.  She picked at her teeth, as sweat continued to drip down her cheeks.

"Seriously?"  Hearing the legend drone on about how tired he was...certainly wasn't her image of the one who supposedly created the continents that rose out of the ocean.  "So what...you scared of us?  You call us weak and petty, yet yer too afraid to go down and fix the mess yourself?  Sounds like you Legends have gotten brittle in your old age!  Fufufufufufu!"  Taiga placed her hands on her hips, and dipped her torso forward.  "And what...you think you're just gonna sit on this mountain forever, never to be found?!  Yeah right!  The godslayers won't stop at Rayquaza...they'll find you too."  Taiga stood back up straight.  "Will it be better ta die alone on this mountain, and leave the world to dive deeper into that "sin" you speak of...or are you gonna help us make it better."

Taiga shrugged.

"Personally...I think sinning's a tad fun.  Especially if you put plundering treasure into that category!  You should try it some time, ya fossil!  FUFUFUFU!"

She really had to think of a way to not fight this guy.  Her ability to make water appear from nowhere would definitely be affected by this heat...she could feel all the water leaving her body the longer she stood here.  If she had to talk this guy down the mountain, she'd rip his ears off before fighting him.

The Litleo gulped. He wasn't sure if he'd be able to avoid this or not. He dove to the side, landing on his belly heavily, panting. He looked up, relieved to see he had...barely made it. Phew. Mac looked to have made it too. Picking himself up off the ground, he sucked in a deep breath of air to help ignite the sparks in his mouth and spat out a few more Embers, cringing in embarrassment at seeing half of them dissipate before they even reached Edgelord.

"I'm getting there," he muttered.

"Ambitious indeed." Mewtwo muttered in response, probably reading his mind like the meddling psychic type he was.

Easter just grinned at him, wondering pointedly when he'd get to challenge the man. He glanced at Mew, who was said to be quite powerful in her own right, but...child. "Damn it," he muttered under his breath. He really was going soft. Mew might look like a child, but she was far older than even the "adult" Mewtwo. He should have no problems challenging the girl to a match. After all, he knew quite well that appearances could be deceiving.

While he was musing over the moralities of challenging a "child" to a fight, Brooke and Mewtwo were arguing over whether they should join the war effort or not. His ears perked up briefly at the mention of his name, before he switched his attention to looking at Fawkes. A child...while he wanted to fight, he couldn't say in all honesty that he would be comfortable with Fawkes joining it. She was so young. It would be tragic and senseless to have her life cut short in fighting a war she had no right to be in.

While he had accompanied the group to protect the children, now that they were in an actual, stable city, it might be time to...let them go. Where they could be reliably protected. Meanwhile, he would...move on. As he always did. He had a hard time staying in one place, his wanderlust forcing him to pick up and leave before long. He hadn't even seen Adarid in a while, and it was the closest place he could call home.

But would he join this fight?

"You wonder why you should care. Why you should help. In honor of Reshiram I will give you nothing but the truth. If they succeed in slaying Arceus this world will end."

Was it callous of him to say that he didn't give a hoot if the world ended? Oh, who was he kidding? He was callous, and he didn't care who knew it. Perhaps that was incongruous with his goal of keeping the children alive, but if the world ended, there wouldn't be much for them to look forward to anyway.

"I am not asking you to fight. At least not now. A time will come where you must choose to do battle or stay behind. Right now what I want from you...is to find a child." He gestured at Mew. "Mew has a friend. One who she used to speak to all the time...in her own way. But she has not heard from them in a long time. They are Phione, child of Manaphy."

Oh, huh. He'd heard of Phione, but only in whispers. His old captain, Captain, knew quite a bit about the various legendaries, and browsing the library at times as well as traveling did much to enrich his knowledge. Phione was said to be the only actual child of a legendary, which was pretty amazing.

"Something has happened to them and it has caused Manaphy to hide away from the world. I have to stay here. This city is in danger now more than ever and someone needs to make sure it does not fall. And you are perhaps the only people who can reach Phione." He looked at Dora. "Or rather you are the only one. The last place Mew sensed Phione was in your old home. In Merm. I know you do not wish to return but I fear something terrible will happen to Phione and Manaphy if they aren't found."

So in Merm, huh? The underwater city usually only water types could get to. This would be...difficult to reach. He wasn't sure how Mewtwo expected any of them aside from Dora to reach it, especially Brooke. She would be literally out of her element there. He decided to speak up in case the psychic type wasn't reading his mind at the moment.

"Well, I'm not sure about you, but I have no idea how to get a group of gijinka, including a fire type, to an underwater city without any of us dying, so if you have any ideas, that might influence whether we decide to actually do what you're asking of us," he drawled. He then glanced at Dora and spoke in a much softer tone. "Unless you know?" While she was a child, as well as being...herself, she might still have an idea of how to get them there.

He twitched slightly as he glanced around at their surroundings, noticing Denku having some sort of crisis on the ground. "Is something wrong?" he asked the man politely, before turning back to Mewtwo. "It might be better to go somewhere less...open, for our discussion," he suggested.

Blake seemed to like Keanu's answer. "You're much more noble than that other one, you know that?" He said as he led Keanu deeper into the village.

At that, Keanu had to speak up, because if that wasn't a big fat lie, he wasn't sure what was, even if he was sure the Zoroark didn't realize it. "Nah, Randy's much more noble than me," he corrected. "He's just...proud, so if something happens to rub him the wrong way, he can be a little stubborn," boy had he noticed that, back on the boat.

Though he had to admit, looking back, he hadn't been the most reasonable himself. Honestly, he had been downright uncooperative. He had a hard time summoning the motivation to do anything, even before the attack on Alola. And then when he finally decided to do something, he had run away like a coward, leaving them behind. And it seemed history loved to repeat itself. Once more, he had run forward on his own, fleeting as the wind, never once looking back.

The Pikachu shook his head. Now wasn't the time for this. It probably never would be, but certainly now was definitely not the time for this.

Their surroundings changed as they traveled through the village. The number of buildings lessened, but the number of people increased. The trees started to grow closer together, and every so often he could see a native warrior peeking out from the boughs, faces somber. Eventually they reached what looked like a shrine in the middle of a trio of gigantic trees. Several wooden statues in various states of wear and tear surrounded it. It was hard to make out what they actually were, so when Blake attacked one with a Night Slash, Keanu shrugged and followed suit with a spark of electricity shooting from his cheeks. Soon after, he felt his stomach sink, as if he had done something he probably shouldn't have.

And then he felt...angry. Kind of? Actually, it wasn't anger at all, really. More like mindless aggression, as if he had overcharged on electricity and needed to release it at something, at everything. Except he wasn't overcharged, had in fact been interrupted during his nap, and he didn't really understand why he would want to attack random things anyway, so this didn't really make much sense.

"Keanu, ally of my people, this is our Queen. Or, as your people refer to her...Yveltal." Blake announced with misplaced grandiosity as he gestured toward a giant egg thing--maybe it was a cocoon? It was hard to tell--emitting a red aura...that might actually be the source of his current hyped up state.

The Pikachu looked at the egg, looked at Blake, and looked at the egg again. "That's an egg," he observed in a flat tone of voice. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea...this kane seems a bit lolo. Confusing an egg for a queen. Also, who in the name of fish is Ee-vell-tall? Apparently, some supreme egg. Like a queen-sized omelet. He then realized that if he really was talking to some lolo dude, it'd probably be best to humor him. "It's a...very regal looking egg, though. Nice name, too. Very...original," if a bit kooky.

After a bit, Randy and Marie were led out of the prison by the Tyranitar, who was apparently offering them a place to stay for the night. Least this time it wasn't a cell, but still...of all the places to have to be bunked in...it was his.

"I wished to resolve this without a large attack. My goal was to prevent them from hurting anyone else. But now that they came here it shows they've grown more bold. This leader of theirs, this...Blake. He must be stopped before they attack again. There's no more time for any other way. This place was supposed to be safer."

"Alright, sir...I'm just going to be blunt about this." Randy said, crossing his arms as he looked at the Tyranitar. "We want to help...and we want to get our friend back. At the same time, I don't know if a slaughter-fest is the best outcome. So right now...I need to personally know: what is the story behind the Mowlooians and the natives? It's like everyone around here has been avoiding that specific question."

"Because there is no 'story'." he simply said with an annoyed glance. "They always lived here but they never really interacted much with the people in the city, as long as they people didn't go down to their land. That stopped one day and they began to attack travelers."

Randy sighed as he shook his head. "There's obviously some story...some history. But either way..." he shrugged, when the Tyranitar finished. "So that's why you guys came to us. Making sure they didn't attack. But, is the natives not attacking travelers so rare that you all don't see it? Cause it sure seemed like that when we met."

"I've only been here for a year and in that time they've attacked almost every person who got near to the city. That's enough for me to know they're a danger."

"And yet she was the only one who didn't..." Randy replied, before sighing. "Alright, I'll say this. I don't tend to get into politics of any kind...I'm a wrestler, nothing more than that. However, I honestly think we should keep the fighting as a last ditch effort. Don't go in slaughtering everything...especially if what she said was true about their queen. And if anything, we may need her to come along, just so she can probably talk some sense into them."

"You have no say in this." the Tyranitar said. "Tomorrow we go to apprehend their leader. You can come or stay, I don't care either way. But I'm not waiting another day for him to kill more of these people."

Randy frowned a bit, moving up towards the Tyranitar to stare at him. "No say in this or some say...I have a friend to make sure is still living. And I don't want that jabroni to kill anyone else either, but if you meet this thing out with more violence, then your probably going to lose." he turned on his heel and walked back some, no longer in the Tyranitar's face. "Keep a level head and plan out all options before committing to the fight...that's what my trainer kept telling me. Do I always have a level head? Of course not, but I try and think of all the possible options before acting. Maybe you should too..."

"Don't condescend me, boy." the Tyranitar rumbled. "I've kept this city standing all this time. Who are you? Some stranger who came during a trying time and now think you know better? You're a child, leading a child." He glanced down at Marie. "Some people need to be stopped, plain and simple. This leader of theirs is one of those."

Yeah kept this city standing. Is that what happened tonight?? Randy kept his tongue in check, before glancing back at the Tyranitar. "I agree 100%. But your willing to throw this into a battle...that could possibly have more lives on your hands that end up being casualties...or worse? I may be a child to you, but sometimes...children actually have a bit more of an impact on decisions than you know." he said, glancing down at Marie, before chuckling.

"This is a battle already." He said, gesturing towards the door. "At least seven people died tonight. More will until an end is put to this. I need to make this place safe. It is perhaps the only chance for a true haven."

Randy let out a heavy sigh, before turning around again and now deciding to walk through the door. He paused to look the Tyranitar in the eye, but finally proceeded inside. "And if your wrong?"

The Tyranitar simply shook his head. "I'd rather take this risk than the risk of doing nothing."

"You have grown weak, petty, and now we die for your sins...I have no desire to return to that world."

"...You must be kidding me."

Tianzi so far had elected to remain silent as Taiga and Scarlet became the one to lead the way in the negotiation process with Groudon, but his attitude started to tick her off in a bad way, in a similar way to Rayquaza just a while ago. Well, in the end Taiga articulated the same thoughts as what Tianzi had in mind with better attention to details and fluency. At the very least that had been done. Of course, her own frustration remained. It was hard for her to keep her mouth shut whenever she dealt with these sort of legendaries, no matter how she acknowledged the power gap between her and said legend.

"And your kind has grown scared, petty, and selfish too throughout the years. You have no right to play victim as much as we gijinka have no right to do the same. We are both equally guilty of this." And this was why the old order was corrupt. The only way for it to change would be if an absolute power destroy everything and remake it from ground up. "I don't care for whatever sentimental reasoning you have about how your people had changed over the years. The fact is, you'll die should you stay here. Don't say something about how you're too strong to be killed or anything.

In the end if you refuse to cooperate, it would be more fitting for everyone's interest if we kill you ourselves instead of handing you to a Godslayer. At least that means you can still help us in spirit."

Location: Mioter (Team Neo Not Dark, Day 29)

Poké: 800

Inventory: Dusk Stone, Moo Moo Milk x2

“I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but we’re not a group of warriors. Easter might help you if you promise him a good fight, but the rest of us aren’t interested in your war. I’m just trying to find somewhere safe for these kids, but you and all your kind just won’t make that easy for us! This’ll make three! Three cities we’ve been to, three cities you all have blown up! So give me just ONE good reason to help you, because right now, if Arceus is anything like the rest of you I’m thinking we might just better off letting it play out!”

"Actually..." Fawkes was going to say something, but found herself stopping when Mewtwo had started monologuing. The general message was clear, and it wasn't good. If those Godslayers succeeded in their mission, the world would end. There was also the issue of Mew's friend Phione going missing, and Mewtwo wanted the group to go find her. Fawkes, for one, was getting tired of all this traveling. Trouble seemed to follow the ragtag group of gijinkas wherever they went. If she stopped going with them, maybe trouble with stop following her??

It wasn't the best logic in the world, but Mioter seemed nice.

"A-Actually," she started again, a bit louder but less confidently. "Speaking of staying behind... I'd like to stay here if that's okay. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd like to stop traveling for now, and Mioter seems like a nice and safe place to try settling down." Plus, I always did want to live near the ocean... but living ABOVE it isn't quite what I had in mind.

"If that's okay," she said again. "I get if that's a problem since the only person here that I can imagine taking some kid from Deku besides you and Mew just got arrested, and I'm sure you have important Legend stuff to do so maybe it wasn't the best idea after all and I'm just crossing lines I'm not allowed to cross..."

As Kazo waited underground, he was able to gather his thoughts, and run the information he was given. Edgelord and this Gardevoir attacked Dorian, but it wasn't Edgelord himself that took him out... it must... it must of been that Gardevoir... and those dragons that attacked Latios and Latias... they mentioned there was another person with them... was it... was it...?

"I tire of this. You can die now."

Something suddenly snapped inside of Kazo. He quickly dug out of the ground, dirt exploding as he erupting from the ground in front of the Gardevoir, eyes glowing with rage. "It was you, wasn't it?!" He roared before launching an Iron Head at her. Whether or not he hit her, he continued. "You're the one that killed Regirock! You're the one that commanded those dragons to kill Latios and Latias, weren't you?!" He felt an unbridled rage storming within him like he never felt before... was this... was this what it meant to be a dragon? "You're the one that caused all this senseless death!!"

"I have avoided the world for a long time." Mewtwo began. "A mistake, possibly, but the world had been taking a path separate from us for many years. Or should I say separate from her..." Denku just tuned out Mewtwo at this point. It was always the same. Help others, almost die, not get any closer to his goal. Hadn't he suffer enough? Was it so wrong to want one thing to go right? He just didn't know. Brooke obviously wanted nothing more to do with this,

Mewtwo mentioned something about the world ending, and then added something about a child, a friend of Mew. They'd have to go to Merm to find them... apparently, it was where Dora was from. So that was good to know. He had nearly memorized the map he had of the region, if Mioter was the unofficial center of the region, then Merm was the far west. It would take about two weeks to even get there at best... would a child hold out for that long?

"Well, I'm not sure about you, but I have no idea how to get a group of gijinka, including a fire type, to an underwater city without any of us dying, so if you have any ideas, that might influence whether we decide to actually do what you're asking of us," he drawled. He then glanced at Dora and spoke in a much softer tone. "Unless you know?"  Denku's mind was racing, trying to figure out a way around this... wait... Xerneas. She was able to--- "Is something wrong?" Denku looked up to the fairy type.

"What, no, nothing's wrong...," Denku muttered bitterly. "It just turns out the one lead I had in this entire journey to the whereabouts of my brother was a Godslayer and needed to be kill, thus, making me lose my only lead," He stood up, patting Mew on the head as he did as thanks for her comfort. "I'm fine though. Just had a moment of weakness,"

"A-Actually," Fawkes suddenly spoke up. "Speaking of staying behind... I'd like to stay here if that's okay. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd like to stop traveling for now, and Mioter seems like a nice and safe place to try settling down." Denku looked at Fawkes. She was just a small child... she deserved to leave in a peaceful world... so did his brother. They didn't need to be tied up in all this... He would take care this... alone, if he had to.

Denku walked over, squatting down and rubbing Fawkes's head gently. "Hey, don't worry about it... you've done a lot more than anyone should expect from you... if you want to stay here, then that's okay," He stood up, walking over to where Dora was. "And Brooke, if you don't want to fight in this war any more, that's fine. You can stay with Fawkes, settle down, build yourself a happy life," He scooped up Dora, gently holding her to his side like a sack of potatoes. "I'll bring her back as soon as we find this 'Phione', and you can live peacefully," He turned to Mewtwo.

"You're able to teleport us closer to Merm, aren't you?" He asked. "Xerneas was able to teleport a former acquaintance of mine to the opposite side of the region, and Psychics were able to teleport us up here. Seeing as you're a Psychic legend, you could cut a two week travel time in half, if not negate it completely, couldn't you? We don't particularly have two weeks to waste trying to get there,"

Groudon's Mountain Team Showdown

Scarlet shook her head as Groudon spoke. She waited for her teammates to speak their mind, nodding her head as they spoke before stepping up.

"What happened in the past is in the past. Once this is all said and done, if you wanna stay here and mope in your mountains all day, be our guests - we've been doing fine without the Gods before Volcanion's death, and the Godslayers showed up to cause chaos." She shook her head. "We need as much help as we can get to fight against these Godslayers, less we want the world to end as we know it. Better to fight them head on with the rest of us than die on this mountain alone, I would think." She said, looking at Groudon and waiting for his response.

Lok managed to sneak on by unnoticed by the Godslayer, sitting next to him inside his stone. He exited the rock as silently as possible, landing next to Gwen and the Blitzle. He grimaced for a second - there was no way he was going to able to save both of them at the moment, at least not without being noticed. There was another option, Lok considered attacking the Godslayer. While his attacks before had been ineffective, this time he had stealth on his side...

He shook his head, before turning to the Blitzle. He had a sad look on his face, but he had made his choice as he mouthed the words "run". He turned to Gwen, picking her up from the ground. She was fairly light, he felt as he rose with the girl. He tried to creep away from the Godslayer, ready to break into a sprint if he was spotted.

Marie followed after the Tyranitar as he told them to come with, slightly sad to just leave the Noctwol where she was, though since neither party seemed to say anything on the former Marie hadn't either. Walking forward, the girl's face was only fraught with more worry as she listened to what the man had said with all of the other guards around town. Eventually, the group got back to the Tyranitar's place, at his own behest, and the group sat there wondering what to do about tomorrow. As the girl continued to ponder on everything that happened, her thoughts were instead directed to the conversation that Randy and the captain were having. Likely unbeknownst to Randy, his assertion for making sure that Keanu was fine had calmed the girl a little, making her realize that he could still very well be alive. And, if she was going to make sure of that, they needed to think about what to do, as a full out attack was probably not going to ensure the safety of everyone.

Of course, Randy had seemed to agree and to a lesser extent the captain did as well. As they continued to have their frustration rise with each other, though, Marie took note of some of the things they said. The captain had told them that other travelers had been attacked and killed by the masked people, and Randy seemed certain that they weren't being targeted for an attack when they first came to Mowloo. Furthermore, things had apparently used to be far more peaceful between the two groups until trouble started to be stirred up between them. The girl continued to think and think about this, before opening her eyes in realization, clapping her hands together. "I've got it!"

Looking at the both of them she said, "what if Blake is just one big bully!" After a few moments passed after the girl's declaration she said, "right, right. Um, so like, when you have a group of bullies generally there's one who's in charge of them. He's the meanest and worst of them all. And when you remove him from his head bully position, it turns out the others who were apart of their group were either just going with the flow or too afraid to do anything about them, so it just breaks apart." She looked to the Tyranitar saying, "you don't want to hurt them if you don't have to, right? Well, they probably don't know that because you can't talk to them. But because he's a big bully, Blake wants to fight, and since you can't talk to them, his word is the only thing the people have to go on."

She turned to Randy. "Remember, the masked people didn't attack us and let us pass because that nice lady told them to let us through. So, if we had her on our side, and she explains to the others that you don't want to bother them, then I'm sure some will stop! That means the people you have to fight to stop Blake becomes a whole let less and less people have to get hurt, right?"

Nine grimaced as the attack from the Braviary was stopped, the man merely being swatted away. As the Braviary was then blasted away, the man told Nine to keep looking for a way to win as the godslayer couldn't have possibly been invincible. While Nine would normally be inclined to agree, the godslayer had an offensive pressure that was completely unrivaled by anything else he had faced so far. He was barely given time to think of how he would next dodge his opponent's attack, let alone fight back. Yet, there was something off about it. When they had first started this fight, he was clearly far weaker then he was now. Which meant that there had to be some secret behind this sudden spike in strength. This either meant he was a slow starter, and there was absolutely nothing Nine could do about his current state or there was some condition that needed to be maintained for his power to continually grow.

Nine had to try and figure out what that was, but before he could get much farther in his thoughts a volley of pin missiles had made their way for him. Using his speed granted by the tail wind, Nine dove away from the Cacturne, sending a flamethrower into the air where was going to try and intercept one of the large pin missiles. After getting to where he was, Nine considered how the man fought and, seeing Lok try to make a break for it with the Blitzle and Gwen, he figured he'd try to kill two bird with one stone. With that, the Houndoom let loose a flamethrower towards the Cacturne. The Cacturne would find, however, that the attack was not aimed directly at him, but rather towards the ground next to his feet.

Brooke struggled to control her temper while MewTwo monologued—the air around her shimmered as the temperature increased drastically. She had a lot of things she wanted to say to him. Why was it that it was their responsibility to fix the mess the legends had found themselves in? Supposedly the world would be in hot water if Arceus was slain by the God Slayers, but that wasn’t her problem. If these enemies possessed the strength to threaten the literal God of Creation than they were a level above anything any of them had a shot at taking down.

She exhaled and smoke billowed from her nostrils. “I’m only doing this for Dora. I still don’t care about the mess you legends are in,” she said quietly, then turned to face Fawkes. She put a gentle hand on the girl’s shoulder and kneeled down so that they were eye level. “If you want to stay that’s alright, Fawkes. You’ve been braver than any kid should ever have to be. Especially a little punk from Deku,” she told the Zorua in a softer tone than the child was probably used to her speaking in. “I’d stay to keep an eye on you if it was up to me, but you’ll be alright on your own. You survived Deku so this place is basically a wonderland."

Brooke stood up and reached for the coin purse at her belt. She burnt through the cord that held it in place, then tossed it to Fawkes. “There’s 750 Poke in there. That should be enough to get you somewhere to stay and plenty to eat until you figure out what you’re gonna do. Don’t waste it all on MooMoo Milk and comics, alright?” She winked playfully and then turned away to head over to Denku and Dora.

“As for you…” Brooke’s expression grew more stern. “You’re not taking that little girl anywhere without me. Got it?”

Team Showdown, Day 29, Groudon's Mountain

Groudon watched Taiga thoughtfully. She seemed like an aggressive young woman, liable to attack, but she seemed intent on talking it out with him. Her words had bite but she seemed to imply that not doing anything would still bring them to his door, as it were.

"It is true I did not expect anyone to come here." He stated with a rumbling sigh-like noise. These four had gotten here so easily. Likely with the help of other Legends, the mention of Rayquaza caused the man to grimace, but even so...This place could only last so long.

And then the Xatu spoke. The muscles in Groudon's jaw tightened as Tianzi gave their speech. "You come here asking for me to aid you, with mockery and threats?" He boomed. "Perhaps you could say those words if you gave half as much of yourself for this region as I have. Begone!" His shout was aimed directly at Tianzi, not at Taiga, and entirely ignoring Scarlet and Isole. The lava beside Groudon bubbled as he waved his arm and gestured at the Xatu. A geyser of lava erupted from the ground and crashed onto Tianzi. "One such as you has no right to speak in my presence!" His eyes glowed an orange color as he spoke.

Team Mac, Day 26, Weynon

Edgelord let out a shout of frustration as he swung his arm, covered in dark energy, at Ari's Ember. The attack struck but most of it was scattered from his swipe. "I am the strongest Gijinka! You are nothing, nothing!" He screamed out. It seemed that something had snapped in the man. His eyes were wide and he looked even more dangerous than before.

"You're not strong enough to beat me!" Mac said as she swiftly ran forward and crashed into his side. With a grunt Edgelord merely kicked Mac in the stomach and knocked her backwards, skidding across the ground to where Ari was.

"Ouch...that hurt more than his other ones.." She said. It was...odd. There seemed to reason for it to have gotten stronger...unless... "I think he was holding back." Mac muttered to Ari as she began to Charge. "We gotta step it up."

Edgelord crouched down low as he looked between the two. "You're out of time." He said. He launched out another Null Blade, larger than the previous, at the two.

Mac grabbed Ari and pulled him down, covering him with her body as the blade passed over them. Though it clipped her back and immediately she felt the numbness start to spread.

Still she forced herself to stand, her arm crackling with electricity. "Ari..." She said, breathing heavily. "Get his attention, keep him busy, this is gonna be a big one..." It had to be. She wasn't sure how much time she had to continue.

Ankou was surprised by the sudden attack by Kazo. She had been focused on the pesky Leavanny, whom she was just moments from finishing off, and the attack broke her concentration. Only several of her flowers managed to strike Grace. Though it was enough that, once freed from Ankou's attack, Grace collapsed to the ground.

"Senseless." Ankou said. "Yes, it's all so senseless...I only wanted to rest. After Cobalion threw me away I just wanted to be at peace. But this world isn't one of peace...but it will be. Once we finish this, I will be able to sleep. He promised me that. I just have to kill a few Legends to do it." She smiled at him. "Lucky you, you get to sleep now." She then drew in a breath, sucking in energy, as she landed her Draining Kiss upon Kazo.

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 29, Mioter

Mewtwo glanced around at the group. They weren't the most motivated. At least one of them wanted nothing to do with the Legends. But that didn't matter. They could think of him what they will, it was only their right, but as long as the task was done...that's all he could want.

Dora's face scrunched up as Easter asked her if she knew how to get to Merm. Even as Denku scooped her up she seemed unusually pensive. "I don't wanna go back there." She said finally. "But...I want to help." She looked at Mew. "I'll get your friend back..." Then, to Easter, "I know how. The bubble!" She nodded as though this answer made any sense whatsoever.

Mewtwo then answered Denku's query about teleportation. "We can get you...near. The city itself cannot be entered through that means, nor would it be good to suddenly show up inside of their city. Merm's leader would likely be alarmed even if you were with her." He seemed to relax a bit as he addressed Fawkes. "You may go where you like. Perhaps Horatio would be able to help you, he is not nearly as frightening as he looks, and his Shadow Guard would be glad to have you if you'd like."

Dora poked at Denku and made him bring her over to Fawkes. She frowned at the other girl. "You're not gonna come with?" She said sadly.

Mewtwo then moved near Easter. "Privacy is not needed, not anymore, this place is safe now. And it isn't like the world won't soon know of the battle at hand. However before I send you on your way you should rest. Spend the night in Sebastian's home, you have a friend there I believe, though she may have already left on her own task. Sebastian won't be needing it anymore."

Mew floated around, making happy, almost purring, noises as she bobbed around in her normal form.

Team Alola, Day 14, Mowloo

"It's a...very regal looking egg, though. Nice name, too. Very...original,"

Blake growled and his hair stood on hand as Keanu spoke. He moved up to the taller Gijinka and looked up at him, pressed close against him. "Mock the queen at your peril. Even if you are our ally no one disrespects her and lives. She is one of the greatest of the Legends, the Queen of Unlife, and her true power will be unleashed soon."

A smile crossed Blake's face as he said this and he seemed to grow excited. "They will come. And we will kill them all. Sacrifices for our Queen..." The "egg" pulsed behind him. The ominous energy exuding from it seemed to grow even as they stood there.

-----

The Tyranitar looked down at Marie. "You may be right, child." He said softly. "This leader of theirs. That is our target. But we cannot get to him without being attacked by the others. Which is why the militia moves out tomorrow to draw them out. They all will have orders to bring down this leader of theirs. As to the prisoner..." He looked at Randy. "If she comes with she will be bound, and you will need to make sure she does not do anything to aid them, but the fight cannot be avoided."

He looked once more at Marie. "You need not come. Children should not be fighting. My youngest...they are in Trailsau. A dangerous place to raise a family. I hope to make this place safe for them." he sighed. "I only hope leaving them with their sister was the right thing. Allie isn't the most responsible young woman...Rest, both of you, I shall inform my men of the plan. Tomorrow we march."

Team Karaoke, Day 27, Northshore

The Blitzle gave Lok a startled look. Which seemed to in part be admiration. She gulped and nodded and, as Lok dragged Gwen off she ran. Though she couldn't get too far away without crossing Nikora's sight so she ran towards the beach where both Kyogre and Fiona lay.

Gwen, still barely conscious, felt Lok moving her. "N-No." She muttered. "We...need to keep fighting. They're in danger. Leave me...here...I need to....to give them an opening."

Nikora seemed to notice the movements, but did nothing to stop them, as Nine continued his assault.

The Cacturne shook his head and created a shield to block the flames. Though he had to adjust so that it would cover his lower body.

In that moment the Braviary swooped in. His hand glowing and forming a claw-like aura as he grabbed onto Nikora's shoulder and crushed down, wounding the Cacturne and lowering his guard.

However Nikora responded almost immediately. A pulse of dark energy exploded out from him and sent the Braviary careening away. The middle-aged Gijinka came up to a crouch and spread his wings. "Boy!" He called out to Nine. "I don't know what you're planning but if you've got any ideas now's the time to share them!"

Nikora, almost lazily, gestured towards Nine and shot out a barrage of pins. This time it was two lines only, flying straight, but moving at incredible speed.

Nine was caught off guard, not by anything that the Cacturne had done, but more so that the Braviary had managed to land a hit in. He had to hand it to the man in that he was quite the fighter in his own right, and if it did anytihng, it proved that the godslayer was indeed not invincible. However, these thoughts were immediately dismissed as the godslayer easily batted away the man, and fired a line of pin missiles towards him. The houndoom managed to create the flames in his hand and struck out at the attack, dodging to the side as he did. However, the attack was so surprisingly fast that Nine was barley able to mitigate the damage as it was, the attack glancing off his arm as he tried to avoid it.

Grimacing at the pain, Nine called out to the Braviary saying, "get him off the ground or get him to move from where he's standing. And if you have anything to hinder him, slow him, weaken him or confuse him now would be the time to use it." While Nine knew that the fight was horribly one-sided, if there was one thing he had on his side it was the sheer, rightly founded, confidence that the godslayer in his abilities. As such, Nine just had to look for the one moment that his guard would be lowered and strike there. With that, Nine engulfed his arms in flames as he sent yet another flamethrower towards the godslayer's feet.

Marie was still sad that things would have to involve more than just the head bully Blake himself, but it wasn't as if she had any other ideas to offer. As Tyranitar mentioned the woman, Marie nodded her head saying, "I know she doesn't want to fight, I know it! So I'm sure she'll help out." With that, the Tyranitar left, and the girl was left to her thoughts. While there was something familiar about the name Allie, Marie was too wrapped in other things to actually ponder on it any more than just that. "If there's any chance that Keanu's there I can't just stay here. Don't worry though, I'm not just a child." The girl proudly said. Though her voice was filled with confidence, as the Tyranitar had finally left, there was a slight shakiness in her voice as she said, "come on Randy, we gotta sleep for tomorrow."
