After Ari hit Edgelord with his Headbutt, they continued to talk with the bug type. Mac continued to let him know just how weak his will really was, following a murderer like he did. Honestly, Ari was much more ready to just condemn him along with the pretty lady with an ugly soul, but he decided to let her talk, pitching in when needed with his Ember.

However, it seemed like something they had said had dislodged...something in Edgelord. The steel type looked uncertain for a moment, before he roared, "FINE THEN! I'll show you how strong I am!" His arms glowed with greenish energy as they sharpened, forming the start of that powerful attack he had used before. "And I'll show you... No one is my master!"

He charged at the ugly lady and attacked her. Ari stopped what he was doing to just...stare. He couldn't believe what had just happened. He gave Mac a sideways glance. Things always seemed so topsy-turvy when she was around, he really shouldn't be surprised anymore. She convinced a legendary to join their team, was saved by another one, and now her words had caused one of their greatest enemies to switch sides.

Well, maybe he had helped this time. He hoped so, anyway. He wanted to believe that now, his conviction was strong enough to change the world, even if it was just one bit at a time.

The Litleo watched their newest ally fall to the ground under the murderess's attack, and nodded at Mac, before Working himself Up for the second time that battle. He had to be as strong as possible for this fight.

Seeing Captain again brought back all of the bad memories again, full force. Shadows started to form at the edge of his vision, and as he gazed at the familiar figure of his former captain, all he could think of was how devastated the man had looked when that happened. The crashing of the waves, the slickness of the ice, the distant murmur of "Well, except, for that small one." It was all just so...so...

"You two sure are popular," Denku said, his words splintering the spell he had fallen under unknowingly.

"I..." Easter paused to shake his head, before putting on his charming grin, though it was less genuine than it normally was, stress lines forming at the edges of his eyes. "Of course. After all, I'm moi, and Brooke is a lovely young lady as well," he batted his eyes at the Pupitar, desperate to grab at any distraction he could find, or he. Would. Go. Mad.

Yes, mad, for he was starting to fall back down into the depths of his emotion, whipped up into enormous whitecaps that threatened to topple the tiny boat of sanity he clung to still. The seas had calmed, before, but those were only halcyon days, too brief to keep him afloat, and now the storm had returned.

Perhaps, he would have dealt with this better had he not just lost another kit, though this one not to death. Perhaps...but it had happened anyway, and nothing he could do could change that. Yet again, he had been reminded of his own helplessness. As strong as he was, he still couldn't do anything when it really mattered.

"Well aren't you an energetic group!" Captain said, his voice causing the Sylveon to look up blearily. "I suppose that's better for the kind of mission you're on. Mewtwo told me all about it and I gotta say I wouldn't want to try and deal with those Merm guys. Can't fly very well underwater."

"Oh, oh, oh, but the bubble flies! Well it doesn't fly it like swims but I guess it doesn't swim cause it don't got arms but neither do I but I can swim...I think. Brooke, can I swim?"

"I see now. This girl took all your energy did she? Well, feel free to make yourself home on my ship. I'd have one of my crew mates escort you around but Easter knows this place like the back of their hand."

Oh, there was his name again. He was probably expected to do something here. Oh, yes, show them around. That much he could do.

"OH OH OH IS THAT A LEGENDARY FORMER CREW MEMBER?" One of the Rotom crew, a highly energetic looking girl with a blonde ponytail, zipped from above and almost crashed into Easter and began to shake his hand. He gazed at her in shocked befuddlement. "Clyde told me that the former crew were all really awesome! We're awesome too but next level awesome you know!"

"Uhh...sure," he replied.

She looked at the others. "And you guys look strong too...you should totally fight some of the crew that'd be rad! We aren't the S.S. Showdown for nothin!"

Easter's eyes, which had dulled like glassy blue-gray river stones, glinted with a spark of life at her words. "I'm sure you're not, if Captain accepted you," he said. "And Clyde, can't forget him," he said, glancing up at the Swampert steering the ship.

"Aaand as you can see, this lovely lady is our own bundle of energy. Solana you're supposed to be watching out for any trouble."

"Psshhhhhh we'll be fiiiiine. Smooth sailing for miiiles Captain."

Easter felt like a vice had gripped his heart. This hit too close to home. Superimposed on the easy banter of a captain and his crew member was that same captain and another crew member, a Jolteon, arguing that she would much rather be doing the rigging than standing around in the crow's nest all day, and that they might as well have Fi do it, since she could supposedly see the future and all, so she would spot any trouble long before it happened, so there.

Suddenly, he wanted to flee, because he wasn't ready for this, maybe never would be.

"Well, in any case, welcome aboard again. Hope you enjoy your voyage, however brief. I imagine it'll only take a day or two to reach your destination so take this time to rest up. And, Easter, we should catch up sometime." The Pidgeot smiled at Brooke. "And you, as well, I wouldn't mind getting to know you."

Some things never change, the fairy type thought, and he wasn't sure if he should start laughing or crying at the thought, so he did neither, as that would be a giant red flag that something was wrong, and nothing was ever wrong with him, nothing but everything. "Of course, Captain," he smiled blandly, before turning to the others and opening his arms wide in a grand gesture toward the ship, his posture straightening from its former slumped pose. "Well, anywhere you want to explore first?" he asked, ignoring the hurt hurt hurt in his chest and the fleeting wish to go back in time, because it was useless to dwell on such things for too long.

No, it might just be easier to let loose in a fight. Fighting always had a way of clearing up a clouded heart.

Keanu and Blake had made it back to the giant egg, and honestly, the more he stood there the more Keanu just wanted to leave. The Zoroark was kneeling in front of the queen omelet with his eyes closed and not only was that weird, but Keanu just started to feel angry and violent and a bunch of bad things that were not at all calming or good for his health. Or the health of those around him.

And then Blake's ears twitched, hearing what Keanu could with his own sensitive ears, the sound of distant battle, and he snarled, then began to laugh. He stood slowly and turned to Keanu, a wild-eyed look in his face. "They come. The battle has begun, the Queen will feed upon this mayhem and be born anew!"

"Um...all right," Keanu scratched his head and tried to resist the mounting excitement that thrummed through his veins. He wondered if this was what it felt like to take drugs.

And then Randy and Marie arrived.

Blake saw them first, giving a dramatic bow, arms to the side, smiling toothily. "Welcome, outsider, to the place you die. That is, if you try and stop me."

Keanu turned and blanched white before attempting to calm himself down, a feat made much more difficult by the presence of that giant omelet. He belatedly remembered he was still wearing the mask given to him earlier, so the others might not recognize him. He contemplated keeping it on just so he wouldn't have to deal with the inevitable shouting that would follow.

Blake and Randy started to argue--of course, how could he ever expect anything different with those two--which was really starting to give the Pikachu a headache. And he didn't like headaches. He would much rather sleep whenever they came, but really, he couldn't sleep, and he felt like kicking something now--and why was he so angry? No, calm. Breathe. In, out, in, out, cool waves, the sunset dipping down below the horizon like a candied berry, and the hoarse cry of seagulls.

Then things started to sound a little violent--really, Blake? Rip out his insides?--so the Pikachu decided to step in at this point. Not literally, as that would probably result in him being violently dismembered or punched to oblivion by either dark type, but figuratively. "Sooo..." he began, lifting his mask high enough to show his face. "Nice weather we're having having, ay?" He paused, and then continued, a little desperate to keep the peace somehow. Yeah that's not gonna happen, is it? "Sorry I left without saying anything, dudes," he apologized sheepishly, before pointing a thumb at Blake, "But this dude wants to help out his people. Seems like the folks of Mowloo are giving them a haad rub for living their lives like they're used to. And I just couldn't say no to giving them a bit of kokua with that." Except, this is turning out to be a lot more violent than I expected, he thought.

As both his flames and Lok's lightning managed to strike the man, Nine tried to get himself back up from his sitting position. While against any one else he probably would've breathed out a sigh of relief, Jabari had taught him to not assume that they had won until it was actually over. And so, warily, he kept his gaze on the godslayer who still seemed to be conscious in spite of the damage he was suffering. Nine was having trouble steadying himself to his feet, but he didn't think much else when he saw the man go for an attack against Gwen. He tried his best, his arm igniting with fire as he fired off a jet of flame towards the man's attack in an attempt to save Gwen.

While the fighting had started, Marie was glad to see that some of the masked people had made their way out of the fight. As their lady friend had told them where to go to find Blake, Marie nodded, though was partially confused as to where it was she was going. All the same, she followed alongside Randy until the two had eventually managed to come across a chamber with a strange egg looking object within. As the girl laid her eyes on Blake, she felt this strange mixture of both fear and sheer aggression towards him, though still seemed to be a bit more on the meek side. As Randy and the Zoroark went back and forth with each other, eventually another masked figure alongside Blake revealed himself to be Keanu.

The swath of emotions she was feeling at the moment had relief mix into them as she saw the pikachu was safe, though, as he explained what he was doing Marie's expression became incredibly annoyed as she said, "what?" Her tone seemed a lot sharper than normal as she said, "no no, the people of Mowloo are only hard on them because Blake keeps going around and making everything worse! He's just a huge bully who doesn't even want to help anyone. He just wants to bring his scary queen back so she can kill everyone, or something." Marie seemed less sure of herself towards the end, as she wasn't quite sure that's what he was trying to accomplish. Though, she figured since he spoke death and he was trying to bring back queen death, it was a safe assumption. The girl pointed at him as she said, "so we're here to make sure we stop him so all the fighting can stop." The girl seemed to be Working herself Up, as she seemed more ready to fight than normal.

Groudon's Mountain Team Showdown

"If you think I will let that go unpunished you are wrong." Scarlet git her teeth, the legend flinging his fist right as she was finishing her dance. She barely had enough time to bring her arms up to block the attack, although the punch still sent the girl flying backwards, her arms burning from the flames. With the help of her wings, she barely managed to land on her feet, although not before dragging them across the ground.

She stood quite a bit away from Groudon, her arms singed and red. She'd be damned if she'd be taken out of the fight with one attack, however, as she quickly started dashing back towards Groudon as fast as she could. When she was closer, she sprang up into the air, before bringing down her arms to slam right onto Groudon's head.

Northshore Team Karaoke

Lok raised his face from the dirt, trying to get himself back up. While he wasn't able to pick himself up, he did see that his attack did have an effect, or at least he think it did. Nikoria was hunched over, looking like he was almost down for the count. Unable to get up, Lok started dragging his way towards his teammates, trying to keep his head upright with shaky arms. Just as he was doing this, however, Nikoria attacked Gwen. "G-Gwen!" Lok shouted, barely being able to muster the energy to fire off another Thunderbolt at the Godslayer.

Kazo panted as he took a deep breath. It seemed that the crazy lady didn't follow him into the room, which was good... to an extent. He realized that, yeah, he left Ari and Mac alone with both of the crazy people. He just needed to grab the thing and run though. That's it. But... there didn't seem to be much of anything inside of this place. He soon found the only closed door in the place. Sighing to himself, he opened the door slowly.

The first thing he noticed the room was covered in many, many plants. It almost felt like a jungle in here... and in the center of the room was a hammock, with some sort of pixie sitting there. The two stared at each other for a minute before Kazo finally broke the silence.

"Um... hello...," He said awkwardly, waving at her.

"It's a strange day for visitors. You're a long way from home, aren't you?" she asked, tilting her head.

"Y-yeah, I'm pretty far...," Kazo said, looking around the room, looking for a certain someone. "It's the nature of a journey... takes you to far places...," He sighed to himself, running his hand through his hair. "I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you're a Legend... which explains why Grace didn't want us here, and why crazy Legend Killers are trying to get in here," At this point, the awe of meeting a legend kinda faded. "Well, there goes my plan...," He muttered. "Guess I better get back out there...," He sighed. He looked around, before looking back at the fairy-pixie. "Is Astrid okay?" He asked. He had no idea if that thief did anything to her. He really didn't trust her.

Denku sighed to himself as he watched Easter seemingly be pulled out of a distant memory. "I..." Easter paused to shake their head. "Of course. After all, I'm moi, and Brooke is a lovely young lady as well," he batted his eyes at the Pupitar, making Denku sigh and scratch his cheek.

"Guess I can't argue with that," He said, shrugging a bit. It seemed some new member of the ship was excited to meet Easter. It didn't really concern him, other than being offered a fight.

"I rather not...," Denku responded to the offer. "Over the past week or so I have fought off leopards, fought in a war, fought against three Godslayers and an insane legend. I'm good for a break, however brief it is," He had a funny feeling that things in Merm wouldn't go real smoothly. Maybe it was his paranoia talking, but the track record so far had not been so hot.

Afterwards, the captain spoke to Easter and Brooke, which made sense... but then he gave one glance at Denku, and gave him only a grunt, causing Denku to raise an eyebrow. It sounded approving, but... what was he approving?

"Well, anywhere you want to explore first?" Easter suddenly asked. Denku shrugged before turning to Dora.

"Got anywhere you wanna see in particular?" He asked the small child. He couldn't imagine this ship was too different from the last one they were on.

Groudon radiated a bright sunlight that allowed Tianzi to fire her Solarbeam earlier than she originally expected. Groudon's own Solarbeam was far stronger, of course, but at the same time, Tianzi was sure that if she could land a good hit on Groudon while he was distracted, her beams might have a chance of actually dealing significant damage this time.

Taiga was fast to come in defense of Scarlet, who had just been recently got her face punched. How romantic. As Taiga went with her fancy moves and striking Groudon on multiple points with her geysers, Scarlet got back up and went to slam Groudon with her pincers, right on his head. Using this opportunity, Tianzi repositioned herself into a more favorable position, and fired another Solarbeam towards the earth Legendary.

Brooke dismissed the captain’s attempt at flirting without responding. She was good looking and she knew that, but the past few days, she had started to wish she was just more average. Someone who could meld with the crowd without trying. Her life would be a whole lot easier if she was just another passing face that no one remembered.

“How about you show us to where we’ll be staying?” she said, shouldering her backpack. “Would be nice if we didn’t have to carry our stuff around with us. Bad enough being back on a boat so soon after the last time.”

Team Alola, Day 15, Mowloo

As the trio talked, argued, Blake was standing still. His eyes darting back and forth, his breathing getting heavier by the moment, his fingers and ears twitching. He knew that there was only one way that this could go. "That is enough." He said. "The Queen is impatient." He licked his lips. "My new friend." He looked towards Keanu. "They want to stop me. If I fall so does all my people. Siding with them is siding with our extinction."

He crouched down, eyeing Randy, and a strange mist seeped out from his mouth. It touched each of the group and, when it did, they'd hear pained voices in the back of their head. It was only a whisper but if they tried to do the same attack twice in a row it would grow in volume and debilitate them. They were now under the effect of Torment. His claws extended from his hands and a glow formed around them as he struck them together, seemingly sharpening them. Without taking his eyes off Randy he said, "I'll make it quick."

He moved forward at incredible speeds, claws extended and covered in dark energy, as he slashed across the larger man's chest.

Team Showdown, Day 29, Groudon's Mountain

Groudon flinched as the fangs chomped down on his tail. While it was hard the fangs didn't deliver a simple bite. Taiga's Waterfall struck him full on the face. However he was still able to retaliate. His hand, the opposite of the one that had attacked Scarlet, began to crackle with electricity as he turned his body and sent a punch towards Taiga's side.

Scarlet's attack, powered up by the swords dance, caused him to grimace as she struck him in the head. Which gave Tianzi the chance to hit him with a Solar Beam.

Isole, starting to actually get into this, floated towards the side to be at a different angle from Tianzi and Taiga, and launched off another Blizzard. The Solar Beam and Blizzard struck the Legend from two sides.

He took a step backwards. "It seems strength hasn't entirely left this world." He said. "But it's still not enough!" He slammed his foot into the ground and each of the group would have a wave of sharpened rock rushing towards them.

Team Mac, Day 26, Weynon

Mac stumbled over next to Ari, as he worked himself up, and decided to charge some energy herself. "I hate to say it." She whispered at the Litleo. "But I'm not moving so good right now. This is...gonna be a tough one."

The Gardevoir walked slowly towards them, blood dripping down her side, as she raised a hand at Ari. A bolt of electricity fired off from her fingertips, racing towards the Fire type. "Why don't you be good children and just die?" She asked, sickeningly sweet.

---

Celebi started swinging in the hammock, back and forth, as she listened to what Kazo had to say. "There's a lot going on isn't there?" She started, looking around the room dreamily. "Astrid is the small one, yes? Hm, I think she's fine. She's asleep right now. The other, new, girl passed by here earlier too, if you're wondering."

She hopped from the hammock and made her way towards Kazo, who would realize just how short she was, only coming up to his waist. "Well, I suppose we should get going then right? I am the guardian of the forest after all."

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 30, S.S. Showdown

Solana bounced on her heels and beamed at Easter's words. "Thank you so much! I'm not as good as some of the-oh you're not listening." The girl pouted a bit as she realized the group's attention had gone elsewhere.

Dora looked towards Denku, considering what he was saying. "I wanna see how the ship moves! Look, look, it's going so fast, how does it doooo that?" The Wooper ran off towards the side of the ship as she said this.

And nearly upturned a bucket of water that a red-haired girl was using to clean the deck. "Hey!" She shouted, then glared over at the rest of the group. "Someone keep a hold of her before she breaks something, sheesh!" She snapped.

"Hey, hey." Solana said, tugging on Easter's arm, trying to get his attention back. "Are you sure you don't want to have a battle with one of us first?"

"Brooooke. Why is the water so far down?" She asked, curious. If any of them were to look over the railing they would, in fact, find that the ship was much higher above the water than was usual for any ship.

Team Karaoke, Day 27, Northshore

Nine's Flamethrower and Lok's Thunderbolt hit Nikora even as he tried to send out his attack, which knocked him farther down and cancelled out his attack.

The Godslayer tried to stand, still, letting out a pained growl. "It's not over." He stumbled as he began to stand, forcing himself to his feet. He glared at the trio with desperation. "This has to...end." He said, slowly raising an arm, shuddering with the effort.

Gwen looked at him, and the other two, and ran a hand through her hair nervously. "Why won't you just stop?" She called out.

"The end is here, one way or another, the world will only change through force of will." His arm now fully raised now he pointed it at Nine and a dark glow surrounded his hand.

As Nine finally managed to bring himself back up to his feet, the boy looked with a concerned yet determined look at the godslayer before him. While the man seemed to be on his last legs, the Cacturne still wasn't about to back down any time soon. Nine knew that this would probably only end with one of them finishing the other off, yet he still didn't feel like the godslayer deserved to die here just yet. He didn't know much about the Xatu, but Jabari seemed less determined to change the world and more desperate to just still do his duty as a godslayer. Looking at the man before him, Nine shouted, "and through my force of will, I'll change your mind and prove you wrong." Charging his hand with the same dark energy, Nine fired the dark pulse at the ground to attempt to knock the man off his feet.

The godslayer stood his ground, and shook his head. "Then you will die." As he fired off a dark pulse of his own, Nine countered it by sending a flamethrower into it to intercept it. "I'm not going to stop. None of us will stop." He then fired a pin missile at Nine, to which the chaser merely cancelled it out as well. As another pin was fired at him, Nine buckled his knees out from under him to duck under and dodge the attack.

"And what's the point of that? This isn't some grand big cause for you, you're not doing it because you think it's the just thing to do. What? Are you just that bored that you figured this was the best way to throw away your life."

"I'm old, and tired, I've seen enough. I have nothing left to give so I will continue until I am stopped." The godslayer slowly made his way towards Nine, firing off more pin missiles at him as he did.

"Then mind your own business." Nine continued to parry the pins with his flames, before saying, "do what most old people do and just rest already. If you have nothing left to give, then just leave it to those that still are ready and willing to give. Not because they're tired, but because they're wide awake and ready to give."

"I can't stop, not with him around, while he stands my fate is sealed. Either I kill or die trying, that is all that there is left." He then lunged for Nine, charging up a drain punch.

While Marie was confused as to why Keanu would be helping the man out, the more that Blake spoke the angrier that Marie was getting towards him. It wasn't so much what he was saying, but just something about the man and just...something else, causing the girl's blood to boil. To make things even worse, a clawing and annoying voice started to form in the back of her mind, causing the girl's expression to become even more sour. As Blake seemed ready to strike, the girl's anger was still mixed with fright, as she both didn't want to fight and found Blake to still be a scary person. If she was going to fight, she needed to think tough. She needed to be tougher. And so, the girl tried to psyche herself, up, and think of the toughest person she could think of.

With her face scrunching up in annoyance, as Blake lunged at Randy, the girl let out a shout, sending an unerringly accurate pulse of pink energy towards the Zoroark. After doing that, the girl shouted, "what the h-hell do you think you're doing you b-bi-bully!" Her impression needed a lot of work.

"Sorry I left without saying anything, dudes. But this dude wants to help out his people. Seems like the folks of Mowloo are giving them a haad rub for living their lives like they're used to. And I just couldn't say no to giving them a bit of kokua with that."

"No no, the people of Mowloo are only hard on them because Blake keeps going around and making everything worse! He's just a huge bully who doesn't even want to help anyone. He just wants to bring his scary queen back so she can kill everyone, or something. So we're here to make sure we stop him so all the fighting can stop."

"That's right..." Randy growled, pointing at Blake. "He's getting what's coming to him...ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!!"

"That is enough. The Queen is impatient. My new friend. They want to stop me. If I fall so does all my people. Siding with them is siding with our extinction."

The Incineroar heard what Blake said and watched him crouch down and suddenly, a strange mist emerged from his mouth. Before Randy could ask what the hell this was, he began to hear pained hushed voice in the back of his head. It was enough to disorient him slightly, as he wasn't just shaking off this now sudden pained whisper, but also the urges that he began to feel when he first walked into this area. T-The hell...is going on...?! he thought, holding his head before noticing now that Blake was on his way towards him.

S-sheet!!

Luckily, the Zoroark was knocked back some by Marie's quick thinking...but nevertheless, Blake's strike hit straight and true. He was knocked back by Blake's Night Slash, but it wasn't too much. Placing a hand on his chest, he began to growl deeply. "You're gonna regret that..." Randy spoke, lifting his eyes towards the Zoroark, his golden eyes flaring to life with a fierce determination. "I can damn well guarantee you that right now!"

"Shut up." Blake responded, before slashing again.

He quickly blocked this strike, even though it did do some damage. "Heh, done with talkin', huh? Fine by me." Randy growled with a toothly grin. "Makes me get to kickin' your ass faster!!" With a roar, Randy swung his right hand towards Blake and prepared to strike at him with a Brick Break to the side.

Blake pivoted to the side, laughing, as he went for another slash across Randy's arm.

Randy noticed this and decided to take Blake's idea and pivot to the side as well, before attempting to send a powerful elbow straight to the Zoroark's chest. It seemed like Blake took the elbow to the chest, but only to latch onto Randy. A dark energy formed around him and then was released in a shockwave...it was Night Daze.

"Tch...Night Daze..." Randy growled, feeling Blake latching onto him. "Ka wahine...you'll pay for that!" he said, shaking the Zoroark off.

Blake proceeded to jump backwards, doing a backflip and landing in front of one of the effigies. He shook his finger. "I doubt that."

"Hmph..." Randy growled, cracking his neck and his knuckles again. "Buddy...I've fought a Tyranitar with more bite than you got." he said, grabbing one of the effigies and throwing it in Blake's direction.

Team Showdown: Groudon's Mountain

Taiga smiled, as she realized both attacks had hit their marks quite effectively.  However, she was caught off guard when a solid fist hit her in the side.  The pain was excruciating, and the blow might've even cracked a rip or two, but that wasn't all.  Straight after, a current of electricity sent it's way all throughout Taiga's body, tingling of fiber of her being as she twisted and contorted in pain.  She crashed to the ground, still writhing in pain, but was able to see everyone else had got their own attacks off as well.  Her assault must have left the big guy wide open.  But that last hit had taken a lot out of her.  Getting punched by a legend was a new experience.  After all, Diancie's attacks weren't strong physically, and she wasn't a legend tied to the creation of the land itself.

"It seems strength hasn't entirely left this world." He said. "But it's still not enough!"

Groudon stomped on the ground, sending a massive wave of sharpened rock towards each member of the team.  She was still so winded from that last attack, but if she let this one hit her it was all over.  In the back of her mind, she was frightened at the fact that if she wasn't strong enough to beat Groudon by himself, how was she supposed to plunder Kyogre's treasure.  She reached down deep inside her gut, too pull something to the surface, just so she could at least stop being a shivering mess on the ground.

"You ain't got the best of me yet Groudy!  And I ain't gonna let this stop my quest for booty!"  She shouted towards the sky, as a pillar of water shot up from under her feet, rising her high into the sky.  The blades could do nothing but crash into the water, as she narrowly avoided being skewered by them.  She looked to the legend, with a hand resting on the side where she had been previously shattered, wheezing desperately.  "You might've punctured a lung there Groudy...that really hurt...but you can't hurt me up here with your stupid rocks!"  The water rushed higher, and arced in a path towards Groudon.  She grabbed the top of the geyser, and hopped off as soon as the arc reached a downward slope towards the legend's entire body.  She took the top of the geyser, and threw it at him, as it roared past her.  Her feet skidded on the side of the pillar, as it drug her along the path that it was making.  Her teeth then began to glow, as the phantom jaws placed themselves in front of her face again.  She opened wide, and would clamp down on whatever they made contact with first.

"There's a lot going on isn't there?" She started, looking around the room dreamily. Kazo had to wonder if she was okay. Did he wake her up? "Astrid is the small one, yes? Hm, I think she's fine. She's asleep right now. The other, new, girl passed by here earlier too, if you're wondering." She hopped from the hammock and made her way towards Kazo, who saw she was a tiny little thing, barely coming up to his waist. "Well, I suppose we should get going then right? I am the guardian of the forest after all."

Kazo's eyes widened as he heard her, and he rushed to the door using his speed, using his size to block. "No, no, no, no, no, you gotta stay here," He said, clenching his fists as thoughts of what could happen to her, how yet another legendary could die... "Those people... they killed Regirock... and they traveled with people that killed Latios... I can't... I won't let someone else die... not unless that's me," He stated with the most confidence he had felt in a long time. "And I need to stay alive for Ari and Mac," He said. That was a bit of a roundabout way to say he wouldn't let anyone die. "Just please... stay here," He said before he tried to get to the other side of the door and shut it. He had to hurry... he probably left those two alone for too long as is.

"I wanna see how the ship moves! Look, look, it's going so fast, how does it doooo that?" The Wooper ran off towards the side of the ship as she said this, nearly upturned a bucket of water that a red-haired girl was using to clean the deck.

"Hey!" She shouted, then glared over at the rest of the group. "Someone keep a hold of her before she breaks something, sheesh!" She snapped. Denku took this as a sign to do his job, so he headed over to grab Dora.

"Brooooke. Why is the water so far down?" She asked, curious.

"What do you mean---," Denku asked before he looked over the edge as well. The water was so far below them, impossibly so... unless. "This is a flying ship?" Denku half asked, half commented before he picked up Dora. "Yeah, you gotta stay away from the edges, Dora. That's a long way to fall and a long way to get back up here," He said as he walked away, Dora tucked under his arm. "I think we should tie her down," He joked to his traveling partners as he came back to the group.

The wave of sharpened rock became Groudon's answer to the onslaught that the team had dished out to him so far. Tianzi thus prepared for her second Teleport of the day, and reappeared at the area where the rocks had stopped moving. She prepared for another Solar Beam, but she wondered about one thing as she moved around to find a suitable position for her to start firing. She knew that her Power Swap would not work against Groudon, and thus her punches would not be able to hurt him much, if at all. However, if it was just because the gap of power between her and him being too wide, maybe there could be a way for her to cheat out, and at least sap a little bit of his strength into herself?

As she thought about it, Tianzi fired her laser as Taiga clamped down on Groudon.

"I hate to say it." Mac whispered at Ari. "But I'm not moving so good right now. This is...gonna be a tough one."

"Yeah," Ari nodded, "But we can make it through. We have to." For that Mr. Mime, for Regirock, for Latios, for everybody who had suffered because of this woman.

Said woman walked slowly towards them, blood dripping down her side, as she raised a hand at Ari. A bolt of electricity fired off from her fingertips, racing towards the Fire type. "Why don't you be good children and just die?" She asked, sickeningly sweet.

The Litleo managed to move just in time to avoid it, sweating as he saw a blackened scorch mark where the attack hit the ground. He spat out a couple Embers at the woman while circling away from Mac, trying to keep the psychic lady's attention off of her. "Why did you do it?" he asked, angry. "You killed all those people, and for what?" He hadn't heard any of her conversation with Kazo, except for when the dragon type had shouted in outrage, but he doubted whatever she could say would justify what she had done.

"Guess I can't argue with that," Denku shrugged, which caused Easter to preen. Just a bit. He always appreciated compliments, and even complimenting by agreement counted in this case. "I rather not...," the rock type continued responding to the offer. "Over the past week or so I have fought off leopards, fought in a war, fought against three Godslayers and an insane legend. I'm good for a break, however brief it is."

“How about you show us to where we’ll be staying?” Brooke asked, shouldering her backpack. “Would be nice if we didn’t have to carry our stuff around with us. Bad enough being back on a boat so soon after the last time.”

Easter privately agreed with the Emboar, but suspected that they shared the same opinion for differing reasons. Before he could reply, however, Dora decided...to be Dora. "I wanna see how the ship moves! Look, look, it's going so fast, how does it doooo that?"

In her haste to reach the side of the ship, the Wooper nearly upturned a bucket of water that a red-haired girl was using to clean the deck. "Hey!" She shouted, then glared over at the rest of the group. "Someone keep a hold of her before she breaks something, sheesh!" She snapped.

"I'm sorry--" Easter began to apologize, exasperated with the child's antics already, and it had barely been five minutes since they got here.

"Hey, hey." Solana said, tugging on Easter's arm, trying to get his attention back. "Are you sure you don't want to have a battle with one of us first?"

"I wouldn't mind," the Sylveon replied. "Need to keep my skills sharp." And my mind distracted. "But first, I should probably make sure certain members of my group aren't actually falling over the side."

"Brooooke. Why is the water so far down?" Dora asked, curious. Case in point.

"What do you mean---," Denku cut himself off.

"Sounds like a good idea to me," Easter said, trying for a casual tone, which was a lot harder in his current mindset. "We usually only tie people to the mast during a storm, but Dora's a mini hurricane." He started walking forward, feet aimed for the stairs to go belowdeck. "If you want to put your stuff down, I'll show you where we'll be staying."

Marie's expression became incredibly annoyed as Keanu explained things on his side. "What? No no, the people of Mowloo are only hard on them because Blake keeps going around and making everything worse! He's just a huge bully who doesn't even want to help anyone. He just wants to bring his scary queen back so she can kill everyone, or something." The girl pointed at him as she said, "so we're here to make sure we stop him so all the fighting can stop."

"That's right..." Randy growled, pointing at the Zoroark. "He's getting what's coming to him...ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!!"

"That is enough." Blake said. "The Queen is impatient." He licked his lips. "My new friend." He looked towards Keanu. "They want to stop me. If I fall so does all my people. Siding with them is siding with our extinction."

The Pikachu's ears flattened at that, and he felt unsure what to do. He could never stand against his friends, but he didn't like the idea of fighting Blake either, and it looked like that was what was going to happen if things continued the way they were going. To make it worse, now he could hear a pained voice in the back of his mind after that strange mist touched him.

Blake's claws extended from his hands and a glow formed around them as he struck them together, seemingly sharpening them. Without taking his eyes off Randy he said, "I'll make it quick." He moved forward at incredible speeds, claws extended and covered in dark energy, as he slashed across the larger man's chest.

Thankfully, Marie was prepared, sending out a pulse of pink energy toward the Zoroark, "what the h-hell do you think you're doing you b-bi-bully!" Oh Fini, she sounded so afraid, this situation kept getting worse and worse.

Meanwhile, Randy and Blake had started a pitched fight, and Keanu still didn't know what to do. Everything was going wrong, there was a voice in his head, and that giant egg was there in the background making everything worse. His thoughts became increasingly dark as he stood there, until he wondered if he should just end it all and leave this place, leave everybody behind, because that's what he did best, after all.

A black energy formed around him as he thought this, mind working on various Nasty Plots.

Groudon's Mountain Team Showdown

Scarlet sprung off of Groundon's head as her hit landed its mark, landing in front of the legend. She took a step back in sync with Groudon waiting for him to make his move. Sure enough, a wave of rock soon started hurling its way towards Scarlet. Her wings fluttered as she tried to vault over the wave of stone like she had the lava. This time, however, as she jumped over it, the very top of the wave slammed into her foot, causing her to flip forward as she felt immense pain on her foot. She managed to land on the ground without face planting, although as soon as she landed she collapsed from the pain on her foot.

"That's not good..." She said, voice strained. She turned to the other fighting Groudon. She grimaced as she let her wings Roost, sitting on the ground. She was hoping to recover enough to be able to properly walk.

Northshore Team Karaoke

Once again Lok picked up his face from the dirt, having dropped it when firing off the Thunderbolt. He saw that Gwen was safe, but now Nine was talking to Nikoria. Instead of trying to pick himself up, Lok dragged himself towards the group, only being able to levitate just enough to not have his chest touching the ground. Still, he could feel his feet dragging along the ground as he slowly made his way forward.

And then he saw Nikoria go for a punch. "N-Nine!" Lok shouted, trying to fire off another Thunderbolt at Nikoria. This one, however, went off wildly without direction, ending up flying closer in front of Nine rather than at Nikoria. As Lok fired off this Thunderbolt, he felt himself drop again, face planting onto the dirt. He could feel his exhaustion taking over.

Team Karaoke, Day 27, Northshore

Nikora wasn't bothered much by the Thunderbolt, as it had missed him entirely, though his attack did almost go wide due to his eyes flicking over to the bolt at the last second. Nonetheless Nine would get struck in the shoulder with the Fighting move, and Nikora would gain back some health.

However the Braviary moved in at that moment, putting his arms under Nikora's and holding him in place right after Nikora made his attack.

Nikora's body began glowing with dark energy again and it seemed clear that he was prepared to fire off yet another Dark Pulse.

Gwen bit her lip, holding onto her arm as she stood trying to figure out what to do. This man seemed to not want to quit and neither did Nine. Even Lok, poor boy, looked to be struggling.

"Isn't over yet?" Came a weak voice from behind her. Gwen turned to see Fiona, being led over to the group by the Blitzle girl, hobbling her way towards them. "You do realize that he is still capable of killing any of us even like that right?" She glanced towards Nikora but kept her gaze lowered, seemingly unwilling to directly look at the man.

Team Alola, Day 15, Mowloo

The sting from the Fairy attack was still lingering as Blake stood near the effigy, highlighted by the flames. His eyes were darker than normal, and it seemed that he was getting more lost in the combat than before. As he licked his lips hungrily they could even see he was salivating.

He growled as Randy picked up one of the other effigies. "Those aren't for you!" He shouted angrily. When Randy threw it the Zoroark crouched and, as it neared him, bounced high in the air and over the object.

From up in the air the Zoroark did a diving kick and struck Randy directly in the chest. He pushed off from the Incineroar and once more did a back flip before landing on his feet.

The moment his feet touched the ground he launched himself forward and swung a claw at Randy, the Night Slash going for his neck.

But, as Randy reacted to this attack, Blake rolled to the side. He popped up near Marie and launched a dark shockwave at the girl instead, laughing as he did.

Team Showdown, Day 29, Groudon's Mountain

Taiga's waterfall struck Groudon and caused the mountain of a man to dig his feet into the earth, lest he be pushed back by the force of the blow. Her biting attack would find purchase on his arm as he raised it in response to her attack. He winced ever so slightly as the jaws clamped down onto his muscular forearm and some blood was drawn. This didn't stop him from going for yet another Thunderpunch on the woman.

Even as Tianzi's Solarbeam struck him in the side and his knees almost buckled he wouldn't be deterred from his attack. However the attack was stopped as Isole, of all people, rammed into the arm with a ghostly aura.

Groudon grunted, the electricity fizzling out, as he slammed his arm down on Isole's head instead, sending her crashing into the ground.

There was a reddish glow in Groudon's eyes then, as he once more released a wave of Precipice Blades. Though this time they only were split into two parts, one heading for Tianzi and the other for Scarlet.

Team Mac, Day 26, Weynon

Celebi put a hand on her hip and leaned to the side, tilting her head along with her body, as Kazo left the room. "What a strange boy. Hm, do I stay, or do I go...I wonder what fate has in store for me today." She put a hand on the door and her eyes glowed with Psychic energy. "So they are the killer of my friends..."

-----

Ankou took the Ember attack very well. The Special move all but deflecting off of her body despite the boosts Ari had given it. "You killed all those people, and for what?"

She gave a yawn. "Does it really matter? Of course, you people always want a reason...I just want a world where I don't have to do anything." She said with a sad smile. "There's nothing about this world I care about anymore so why wouldn't I get rid of it? Of course, it is quite the pain dealing with you types all the time..."

She gestured to the side and bombarded Mac, who was approaching from the side, with psychic energy.

Then, her eyes still on Ari, she raised her other arm. Petals began to form around Ari in a circle, and if he remained inside of it he would feel his energy sapping away from him. "Rest now, child, and let everything come to an end."

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 30, S.S. Showdown

"If you're gonna tie me down you should tie me up instead! Like up there on the top! That sounds a lot more fun than tying me down. Unless there's something cool down there, is there something cool down there, Easter?"

Though she didn't stop Denku as the group made their way down the steps into the below deck area.

As they made their way down, another girl made her way up. They had chin-length, blue, hair and was dressed rather scantily. Given their somewhat clouded eyes it seemed as though they had just recently woken up. She barely even registered the group in her awareness but she did pause briefly as she passed Easter by. And all three of the group, barring Dora, would be able to feel a sudden pressure as the young woman's Aura washed over them.

It didn't last long as the girl continued up the steps, dragging her feet and almost tripping on one of the steps on her way.

Nine had to bend back just to avoid the lightning tossed his way, only to then have the punch of the Cacturne connect against him, causing his shoulder to buckle down a bit as the Braviary came to stop him. While the Cacturne still was very worse for wear, the healing from the punch had done him some good. Nine didn't seem bothered by this at all, instead clenching the fist of the shoulder that was just punched. Finding it the perfect opportunity to strike at his opponent, Nine directed the force of the attack he had just received back into the gut of the godslayer with one solid punch, causing the glow around the god slayer to flicker out briefly. With the punch having gone through, Nine's arm fell to his side, seemingly more limp as the man started to huff for breath. "Ready to stop yet?"

"You know...if I live, I'll...just have to try again."

"I'm not so sure about that." Nine continued to breathe deeply, trying to catch his breath from the fight. "After all, if I let you and Kyogre leave here today, and me and all of my friends get out alive. Then that means you were wrong, that at the end of this today, somebody didn't die. Which means someone doesn't have to keep dying to get their point or change across."

"Stopping me won't stop the death that is coming."

Nine looked at the man, saying, "not entirely, no. But it's a start. A single step. And I'll keep taking those one after the other, stopping whatever godslayers or rancorous legends I come across. And then, at the end of it all, I'll even stop that boogieman you sold your soul to."

"The road is set already. Even with my failure here. I will be your opponent even after this regardless of what you do."

Hearing the man talk about how set his path was, Nine couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. "You know, for people stronger than any others and part of a group dedicated to change, you're all certainly inflexible when it comes to resigning yourself to fate." Shrugging and shaking his head, the chaser continued. "Whatever. I'm just saying that today, you lost and because of that, you're path isn't as concrete as you thought it was. You can rest now if you want, tired old man, or you can spend the rest of your life fighting, being tired and exhausted with everything."

"I can only fight until it is over." As he spoke this, the man let out another Dark Pulse, knocking the Braviary away from him but nearly falling over himself as he did so.

Sighing, seeing the man was still ready to fight, Nine balled his good hand into a fist. "Suit yourself." With no special power or flair behind it, Nine simply punched the man in the gut once more, causing the godslayer to double over and fall to the ground, still barely conscious.

"He's right you know. The more of...them, there are, the harder it will be in the future." Nine looked over to see Fiona talking to him, before looking back towards the godslayer.

"Well, you're probably right. But I can't really bring myself to kill someone I both pity and respect as much as I do these guys. Besides," Nine briefly jokes, "they're great conversation partners." Sitting there for a bit, wondering about his opponent the man figured he'd get an answer from the girl who seemed to know about him. "Hey Fiona, what's this guy's name?"

"He is the Godslayers' second in command, Nikora," she said, looking to the side as she spoke.

Hearing the title given to him, Nine's expression briefly became stunned. "He's the second in command?" Despite how grand his target was and how powerful he was. Despite how determined he was towards this cause and how impossibly stubborn he was, there was still someone above him. There was a person of greater power than the cacturne before him, and probably eclipsed the other two godslayers he had fought so far. From both desperation and a realization at how in over his head he was at this, the boy couldn't help but start to laugh, merely saying, "oh gods, my life sucks, doesn't it?"

"Want to compare?" Fiona muttered, though she did so so quietly that Nine hadn't actually heard her.

Instead, he calmed himself as he seemed to take on a more friendly expression towards the godslayer's second in command. "Well, pleasure to meet you Nikora. I'm Nine. And for both your and my sake, I hope the next time we see each other it won't be with violence."

Despite the fight barely even starting, Marie was very clearly quickly overwhelmed. She could barely keep up with the speed at which Blake was moving, and as a result could barely do anything to help out Randy. As the Zoroark moved around, he eventually found his way towards Marie, letting loose a shockwave of dark energy towards her. The girl could barely react to it, and even then she could only brace herself for the coming attack. Being slammed by the dark energy, the girl was knocked back, arms burning with pain as she was. The girl bit down on her lip to try and keep herself from shouting in pain, trying to still act as tough as she could in the face of danger. The girl tried to think of what the toughest person she knew would do right about now.

Well, she would explode in an almost literal sense. Marie could not do that. As such, Marie had to think of something else to do, and getting rid of all the pain on her was a good first thing to do. Clapping her hands together, a veil of water coated her body, starting to mostly coalesce around her arms as it started to nurse her wounds back to normal.

Team Showdown - Groudon's Mountain

Groudy had buckled beneath the impact of her attack, and she had managed to gnaw on a large portion of the big lug's arm.  Out of the corner of her eye, she could begin to see the windup for another one of those punches.  If she got hit by that, it'd probably be the end of her for this fight.  She struggled to dislodge her spectral fangs quickly, but Groudon would be able to cover the distance in an instant.  Taiga closed her eyes, and waited for the impact...would she wake up back in Rayquaza's palace, or outside the pearly gates staring down another legend.  When the attack hadn't hit, she opened her eyes to see Isole dash out in front of the attack.  When she was hit, she was slammed into the ground, hard.  Taiga stared  as the girl crashed down to earth.

"ISOLE!"  She shouted, ripping herself loose from Groudon's arm.  She dropped to the floor, and picked the girl up.  With Groudy distracted by the Solarbeam Taiga whisked the girl away from the fight in a mad dash.  Once they were properly out of range, Taiga placed her down on the most comfortable rocks she could find.  "Are you alright?!  What are you doing gettin' punched for me!"  Taiga smiled, and looked at the girl with her head cocked to the side.  "You don't think my skin's thick enough to take one of those hits?  Yeah right!"  Taiga tried to laugh, but her sides had already taken enough damage, and laughing was extremely painful at the moment.  "Sheesh...I'll thank you proper after the fight.  But right now, attack from a distance, will you?  You can't take another hit like that."

With a nod to Isole, Taiga dashed off, creating water beneath her feet to almost skate on.  Her eyes became wild, and deranged, like a predator seeking prey.  She clenched her fist, as water erupted from the mountain in a mad attempt to catch up with it.

"How dare you..."  She said, as she skated extremely fast towards the Legend.  "She ain't nothin' but a delicate piece a' ice...you don't gotta hit her so hard!"  Taiga jumped up, with the help of a splurt of water to force her into the air.  The large pillar of water still chased after her balled fist.  "But you!"  She opened the hand, just to tighten the fist some more, cocking it behind her back, and twisting in the same direction.  Her eyes were fierce, as the locked dead on with Groudon's.  "I ain't gotta take it easy on you!"

Taiga's fist shot into Groudon's cheek, where the rushing pillar of water would also connect soon after.  Taiga used all of her strength to dig that fist into Groudon's face as far as it could, her teeth gritting in pain as she could feel all the force in her arm.

Groudon's Mountain Team Showdown

Scarlet got up after her relatively short Roost, moving her ankle around. It felt a lot better than it did before, which was good. Scarlet turned to Groudon, only to watch as Isole was hit. "No!" Scarlet roared as she watched the ghost girl get slammed into the ground. She could feel her rage build up as her eyes locked onto Groudon, before making a mad dash for the legendary once again.

As Scarlet started dashing towards Groudon, she saw another wave of stone coming towards her way. Again, she jumped over the wave, this time bringing her legs up as to not get hit by it again. She landed onto the ground by slamming her fist. Looking up, Scarlet watched as Taiga punched Groudon in the face. She decided this would be her time to strike, dashing once again towards the legendary before tossing a Bullet Punch right into Groudon's gut.

Lok managed to pick his face off of the dirt again as he watched the interaction between the two Dark types unfold. At the point Lok was all out of energy, turning himself around to properly see the rest of the battle unfold. His eyes lit up when he saw that Fiona was fine, letting out a sigh of relief. Still it seemed like they were finally done as he saw the Godslayer double over and fall much like Lok himself. "Is it... over...?" Lok said out loud, rolling over to face the sky, relaxing his body. He'd rest for a bit before trying to get up again.

"Those aren't for you!"

"No sheet!" Randy shouted, watching the Zoroark bounce high into the air. "Cause it was for me, it have a bit more flair to it!" He said, waiting to see what Blake was about to do. Unfortunately, he was caught off guard by the sudden kick to the chest, which knocked the wind out of him for a good bit. "N-Ngh...tch...gonna have to do more than th-WHOA!"

Randy saw Blake coming after him, poised for a neck strike. With a growl, the Incineroar dodged out of the way, a quick movement of his hands to also directing the strike away from him. This guy... he thought, not noticing immediately that the Zoroark rolled to the side until it was too late.

The moment he realized what was happening, it already did. Blake sent a Night Daze straight at Marie, which hit her and knocked her back a bit. He was left a gasp for a moment, before his fists began to clench tightly and his teeth grinding.

"You...ka wahine..." his eyes slowly turned in the direction of Blake. They seemed a bit fiercer and were burning even more. "How...DARE YOU!! Just striking kids like that...THAT is something that won't sit by me." He growled deeply, before immediately firing off a Fire Blast towards Blake.

Blake rolled to the side to avoid the Fire Blast, laughing. "Kids, adults, we're all just Gijinka. Maybe if you thought more of her she'd be stronger by now." Then he shot another shockwave, this time at Randy.

Randy rolled out of the way of the shockwave, growling more now. "Shows what you know...I DO think more of her." he glanced over at Marie. "She keeps saying she's an adult...and she's shown a lot lately that might prove that. But even still!" He stood straight up and clenched his fists. "As an Incineroar...I can't idly stand by and watch someone as maikaʻi as you harm a young kid."

"Whatever, you'll both die soon anyway." With that Blake launched himself into the air, coming down for another Bounce. And, as he gets near, he fires off a second Night Daze.

"Like hell! As long as the Alolan Guardians are breathing...as long as the Sun and Moon are rotating..." Randy shouted, dodging the Night Daze, just barely as he was somewhat put off course from his dodge. "We'll still live...and right now, the sun is shining on us. AND YOUR GOING DOWN!!" He roared, rushing towards the landing Zoroark with a Brick Break assault.

Blake got hit along the shoulder by the Brick Break. He snarled and used another Night Slash, across Randy's stomach, cutting into him.

Randy let a slight roar as he started gritting his teeth from the Night Slash strike. He gave off a smirk, before using Acrobatics to move a bit quicker around Blake, delivering a firmly place kicked right into the middle of his back. "Lee Back Kick!"

As Randy went to kick him, Blake, moving faster, used Bounce and was up into the air yet again.

"Damn..." Randy muttered, seeing his kick miss. Glancing up towards the Zoroark, before taking a deep breath. "Alright...these fists of mine overflow with a powerful darkness! Their deadly glow tell me to grasp victory...and as of this moment...they tell me to kick YOUR ASS!!! HERE I GO!! DARKEST LARIAT!!!" The Incineroar's fists ended up being covered in a powerful dark energy as he rushed towards him, leaping up and preparing to strike him.

"It's useless...USELESS!!" Blake shouted, starting to descend from his Bounce.

-BGM-

Right now, both these Dark types were engaged in a fierce hand-to-hand combat, the Night Slashes colliding and clashing with Randy's Darkest Lariats. Neither side was in the market for giving in, that was made fairly clear. Both struck one another, roaring out with a fierceness that wasn't natural. Was it because of the creepy death egg in the room or was it Randy letting out his anger upon Blake for not only finding a way to shanghai Keanu, but also striking at Marie? It was too hard to tell... One thing could be certain, the two Gijinka were giving this everything they had.

Grrrrrrrrr...c'mon Roarton...KEEP GOING!!! he thought, growling deeply before letting out another roar.

They seemed to be colliding with one another for quite a bit of time before finally touching back on ground. That's when it got even worse. The strikes seemed even fiercer and got to the point where with one last hit from each, both Blake and Randy were knocked back, skidding back away from one another. Both seeming pretty banged up, but they still were standing.

"...c'mon...don't tell me that's...that's all you got..." Randy huffed, spitting to the side as he grinned widely at the Zoroark. Just a bit more...and Blaze will be fully operational. Then I'll burn his hide!!! he thought.

Kazo sighed to himself as he rolled up his sleeves and adjusted his glasses. It was do or die time now. They had to finish them all off, now. Taking a deep breath, he went back outside to see who he had to beat up. As it turned out, Edgelord was already taken out. That was good, but now they had to beat that Gardevoir...

"Does it really matter? Of course, you people always want a reason...I just want a world where I don't have to do anything." She said with a sad smile. "There's nothing about this world I care about anymore so why wouldn't I get rid of it? Of course, it is quite the pain dealing with you types all the time..." He gritted his teeth at the scene before him. That Gardevoir was attacking Ari... he couldn't let her get away with it. He WOULDN'T let her get away with it!!

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Kazo roared, dashing at her with all the speed he could muster, hardening his head and flipping up into the air, intent on smashing his head into hers with an Iron Head. "I've had enough of you! Just because there's nothing left for you in this world, doesn't mean you can take the world from others, you selfish monster!"

As the group headed downstairs, the group passed by a girl with blue hair that was... barely dressed. Denku averted his eyes, sighing to himself. Last thing he wanted was to be declared a pervert in a group of a woman and a... person that teased a lot. Still he felt an immense aura radiate from the girl. He kept in mind to keep his distance from her. After all, in his experience, woman plus lots of power equals not a good time.

"Didn't need reminded of Juyu," Denku muttered to himself before turning to look at Easter. "So is... that," He motioned to the girl passing by them. "normal around here? Am I going to need a blindfold?"

"Ugh!"

Satisfied with another direct hit, Tianzi ended up not paying enough attention to the battle and ended up being torn apart by the upcoming Precipice Blade from Groudon. Her revival ability kicked in soon after, but as she regained her footing and used the excess psychic energy from her revival to get away from the radius of the attack, she grumbled at the unnecessary damage that she had taken. She was careless, something fatal for someone as weak as her. In the meantime, Taiga went on a rampage at Groudon, mad when she saw Isole had been hurt by Groudon. Tianzi wondered whether Isole was her and Scarlet's adopted daughter or not.

Well, it made her frown worse. Now she felt like a third wheel in a happy family.

Pushing aside those thoughts for now, Tianzi aimed and fired another Solarbeam at Groudon. While so far this had been working decently well, she needed a new tactic, quick. Sooner or later Groudon would adapt to her beam  spam, and that would be bad. Very bad.

Brooke slung her bag over her shoulder and followed them down below deck. She wasn’t sure what it was, but things that normally would have shocked her invoked nothing but indifference. The boat being capable of flight should have blown her mind but she honestly couldn’t find it in her to care, as long as it took them to their next destination safely. She trudged on behind the group silently.

They passed a blue-haired woman on their way down. Brooke could sense her aura, and once upon a time, that level of power would have impressed her. Two weeks ago, to be exact. Now she had fought with some of the creatures she had read about in stories as a child, and she had come out on top. Things just weren’t as impressive after that.

“You’ll be fine,” she told Denku, pushing forward. “Just try not to think too much about it, yeah?”

Team Karaoke, Day 27, Northshore

Nikora could barely move. Why hadn't they finished him off? Did they not realize yet that he wasn't going to just stop...What was with these people? Perhaps this was the only hope left for the world as it is... "Very...well." Nikora said, coughing. "We shall see...whose values will win. Pray you don't show such weakness in front of him." He looked up, at Fiona, faint recognition in his eyes. "You should know what happens to those who stand in his way."

With a shuddering breath the Godslayer passed out at last.

The Braviary lifted his body up. "I'll try and keep him locked up. Might've been easier to just finish him but...I guess we'll have to hope for the best. Head to the camps outside the city to get yourself treated." He glanced over at Kyogre's unconscious form. "...Perhaps someone should bring her with, just in case."

Gwen moved to Lok, rubbing his back and checking to see if his injuries were severe. "You were very brave. But now it is time to rest. It's finally over..."

Fiona, standing stock still, eyes wide, snorted at that. "Not even close." She muttered ominously.

Team Alola, Day 15, Mowloo

"...c'mon...don't tell me that's...that's all you got..."

"Not even close." Blake said, wiping blood from his mouth with the back of his hand. He crouched down low and his hair began to stand on edge. "For my Queen I shall give my everything."

Blake's fierce smile grew wider and he bared his teeth fully towards Randy. Behind him his tail seemed to separate into three parts, and he let out a howl.

His claws sharpened further as the Zoroark powered himself up again with a Hone Claws. "This time I'll make sure you're dead before moving on to the smaller one." He darted forward towards Randy, almost right up in his face, but then halted himself mid-charge. He flipped backwards again and, upon landing, launched another Night Daze at the man. While it traveled towards Randy he Bounced into the air again before coming down harder than before.

Keanu knew he'd have to do something soon...but that was the worst. Doing something because you had to. It just didn't feel right. Nonetheless it was clear that he'd need to make a move soon. But...what move would that be?

Team Showdown, Day 29, Groudon's Mountain

Isole glanced down at the floor at Taiga's words of concern. "Not that you care." She muttered, squirming uncomfortably as Taiga's words and actions fought against what Isole believed to be true.

Groudon stood still even as Taiga's punch collided with his cheek. He dug his feet into the ground in order to prevent himself from being blown backwards by what could only be described as a Critical Hit.

The punch to the gut followed immediately after and the Legend was taken aback by the double strike. He enveloped one fist in Electricity and the other in Fire as he retaliated. Using both fists at once made his attacks a bit slower than before but Taiga and Scarlet both would have a first flying towards them.

After this was when Tianzi's Solar Beam fired off. Groudon used his Eruption to try and block the attack with the lava but it wasn't quite strong enough as he was to stop all of the beam.

His knees buckled and his body began to sway. Breathing deeply, Groudon let out a massive roar.

His eyes blazed bright orange and the markings along his body seemed to pulse, moving as though they were made of lava, and his entire body literally grew a couple feet. The sunlight became twice as oppressive before and the lava river erupted entirely, creating a massive wall of lava around the group.

When he looked down at the Gijinka his face showed no signs of compassion.

He was now Primal.

Team Mac, Day 26, Weynon

Mac tumbled to the side as Ankou's attack hit her. Her body felt numb, her vision was fading, and she was struggling to keep on her feet. Yet still she stood. Still she fought. It wasn't going to go down like the last time. Where she wasn't strong enough to prevent catastrophe. There wasn't anyone to save them now. They'd have to do this on their own!

She noticed Ari near her, watching as Kazo struck the Godslayer once more.

The woman's head was bleeding, and her eyes were wide with anger, as she backhanded Kazo. The hit was surprisingly strong for such a frail looking woman, though it wouldn't do as much damage as an attack, and it gave her time to teleport away again.

Though not far enough. Ari, spurred on by Kazo's attack, lowered his head and charged at Ankou.

Ankou aimed yet another Thunderbolt at Ari. The attack raced forward and would've stopped Ari's charge dead in its track...if not for one thing.

Mac pushed herself forward and let loose another blast of electrical energy, using her previous charge, and redirected the Thunderbolt to the side.

She then, grimacing at what she was about to do, crouched down onto the ground and gave Ari a brief nod, the most she could do with her body in this shape.

Ari, with a moment of understanding, continued forward. He jumped onto Mac's back and from there spring-boarded at Ankou, crashing his hardened head into her chest and forcing her backwards.

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 30, S.S. Showdown

Easter very nearly smiled at Dora's excitement. Especially as he knew there was something that she might consider "cool" below deck. So he told Dora so which caused the girl to be much easier to wrangle down the steps. "First I should show you the guest quarters where you'll, we'll, be staying." He paused, having almost slipped back into his previous role last time he was on this ship...

The group continued down a few halls until they reached a series of doors, some which seemed to be more damaged than Easter had remembered, that opened up into simple but effective cabins.

In the first they opened, however, they saw a green haired girl laying on the floor and staring up at the ceiling.

She craned her head a bit as the group walked in. "Hello." She said dreamily. "Are you cargo? Wait no the word is...guests? Why aren't you in the guest quarters?"

After Easter's explanation that this WAS the guest quarters the girl's, already wide, eyes widened. "Ooooh...that's why I couldn't find my bed." Though even after this she didn't seem to be too keen on moving, merely smiling widely at the group, staring in curiosity at Denku in particular.

Then there was a crashing sound from several rooms down and a cry of "Oh gosh, not again!" A few moments later a silver haired girl came into the room. "Ah, Trava, can you help me clean up this me-Oh." She looked around. "Oh I am so sorry, I didn't realize the guests where here. Um, hello, my name is Jane and I uh...I'm part of the crew..." She fidgeted a bit, plucking at her hat, which was tall and pointed, with clear discomfort.

"I don't feel like helping...maybe they can do it." Trava, the green haired girl, said.

"That isn't right and you know it. Guests shouldn't...and she's not paying attention." Jane sighed. She glanced sheepishly at Brooke. "I don't suppose...you would mind helping me clean up a spill?" She asked hesitantly.

Either way Jane would leave not long after. And, once more, not long after that the Swampert who had previously been steering the ship came to the door. Though, as the door wasn't large enough for him, he didn't come in.

He did, however, grab Easter by the shoulder and pull him out. "You, don't think you're getting away without saying hi to your old buddy Clyde do ya?" He then lifted the smaller man up and over his shoulder. "You and I need to have a bit of a talk about your attitude. Not jumping at a chance for a rumble, pah!" With that he carried Easter off as his hearty and surprisingly jovial laugh boomed all the way.

"What a lively day this is." Trava said from the floor.

Team Showdown - Groudon's Mountain

With the the forceful triage of attacks forged against Groudon landing in all the right places, He was forced to buckle under the immense pressure of all three combined attacks.  However, he was able to swipe at both Taiga and Scarlet with those wild elemental fists.  They were slower this time, easy for Taiga to dance around, and gain some distance from the Legend.  She smiled wildly, with him crumbled into a small crater that he had created.

"Just give up already!  Face the music Groudy!"  She shouted from a ways away.

Then she heard the roar.  It looked like pure magma was showing through his veins, as it coursed throughout his entire body.  His demeanor changed completely, and he stood tall once again.  As he rose, the sun beat down twice as hard as it had before, almost making Taiga's skin shrivel and break.  What was this power emanating from this Gijinka?  It was absolutely insane.  And Rayquaza sent them here...with no legendary backup?  Her teeth started to grind in annoyance.

"So...waiting until the end to show your true colors huh?  How unsightly!"  She looked back to Scarlet, worried what would happen if she took anything fire related in this intense heat.  Would she explode on impact?!  "I know you might not like it...but stay away from his front side!  Attack his back while I'm beatin' on him from the front!"  With her plan established, she looked at this behemoth of a Gijinka straight in the eye, intertwining their fates.  She tried to make a path of water to skate on in front of her, but they instantly evaporated in this intense heat.  She would have to book it the old fashioned way!  She ran towards Groudon, cocking a fist back, and shooting it straight into his gut.  At the same time, a large fountain of water sprayed out, with the sun trying it's best to make it fizzle away, that would land in the same spot as her fist.  She then repeated the same motion with her other fist, only faster.  She kept doing this until her fists were nothing but a blur, launching multiple pillars of water into Groudon that were almost nothing more than mist upon contact.

"FU FU FU FU FU FU FU FU FU!"  She exclaimed with each punch landing.  As she threw those punches, she could feel herself getting increasingly faster.  No.

She was faster now!

"Not even close. For my Queen I shall give my everything. This time I'll make sure you're dead before moving on to the smaller one."

Randy let out a roar as he couldn't move fast enough to stop Blake's Night Daze as he was knocked back some, skidding some before looking up and seeing the kitsune gijinka using Bounce, coming down quick. With a low growl, he backflipped out of the way and immediately started moving faster thanks to using Acrobatics. "Like hell you will!!!"

Blake slammed down into the ground and lurched forward, going for another Night Slash.

Oh no you don't! Randy thought with a growled and lunged forward, meeting Blake's Night Slash head on, using Brick Break.

The attacks collided with one another. Blake seemed to be the stronger but the type advantage caused a stalemate. The attacks bounced off each other and Blake hopped backwards and launched another Night Daze in the Incineroar's direction.

Randy narrowly blocked the strike, but was knocked back by the Night Daze. His eyes flared a bit as he growled at Blake, rushing towards him and using a Darkest Lariat once more. Don't let up on him, Roarton...keep him occupied and away from Marie and Keanu! he thought, his gaze narrowing on Blake.

Blake crouched down low with a sick smirk as Randy came towards him. He dashed forward and intercepted the attack with a well placed Night Slash across his right leg.

Randy let out a roar as he completely missed his target, swinging and collapsing to on leg due to the pain in his right leg now, before glaring over at Blake. "...takin' out a leg, huh? Win by any means necessary, eh?" he growled, doing what he could to stand back up. Tch...Blaze would be nice...but from that one strike, I'm fairly certain this guy won't allow me to ever get to that point. He's got...the intent to kill... he thought, flicking his nose with his thumb. Even though he was beat up, his Incineroar pride was getting quite the ego-stroke. "Still...only one other fight as got me this excited and motivated in this region...and that was against Allie." He beckoned Blake to come on with his hand, only smirking. Time to see what he does...and then try to counter.
