He could hear things around him, most of them muffled for a bit. One sounded like Keanu's voice, but he couldn't be 100% sure right now. As he started to open his eyes, he felt himself getting struck yet again by another attack. This of course, brought him back to reality with what was going on. It was that Yveltal.

With his eyes opening, Randy saw the situation that was going on. He could've swore he was seeing double as he was seeing two Keanus right there...but he couldn't come to reason if this was the case or not. His eyes slowly drug themselves towards where Yveltal stood and he felt his body tense up. This was a Legendary...one on a much more higher level than even Moltres herself. She was stronger and more fierce. They couldn't just fight her like this...

Yet...why did this bring a smile to the Incineroar's face? Why did he feel both a reverent fear about this Gijinka, but at the same time, think of this as a challenge? And a challenge that definitely got his blood boiling.

Randy slowly began to stand up. He hurt, but this was nothing to him. Grabbing the vest on his person, swiftly tossing it off as it floated down past him. Then without warning, he let out a loud roaring yell, most likely catching the attention of Yveltal. "H-Heh...it's not everyday...Solgaleo blesses me with the chance...to go toe-to-toe with a Legendary." he said, beginning to make his stride towards Yveltal, using Acrobatics to up his speed and movements. "I'D BE A FOOL TO NOT TAKE THIS CHANCE! CHARGING TAUROS GUTBUSTER!!!!" Randy roared, tucking into his shoulder and making a B-Line straight for Yveltal, aiming for either her back or stomach.

Yveltal turned to Randy and, as he charged towards her, proceeded to lift both her hands up. A brownish aura surrounded her hands and she fired off an orb-like Focus Blast towards the Incineroar.

Randy was already in motion when the Focus Blast was fired towards him. He growled as he moved slightly in his stride, narrowly dodging the blast, it only grazing his left shoulder. "NOT YET....NOT YET!!!" he roared, keeping his stride.

As Randy was about to reach Yveltal she stepped backwards into a rift and vanished from view for the moment.

"Damnit!" Randy said, rushing towards where Yveltal to where she vanished. He rolled a bit as he started having his eyes darting around, trying to find where she went. "Warpers...it had to be someone with Warping capabilities..."

She then appeared behind Randy and began to bring her arms, charged with Ghost energy, down onto Randy's shoulders...hard.

Glancing behind him, he saw Yveltal return. He wanted to move, but it was already too late. He felt the arms slamming hard down on his shoulder as he was knocked to the ground with a loud roar. "T-Tch...d-d-damnit..." he muttered, slowly trying to get up.

She never let up for an instant. The moment that the Incineroar dropped down, she swung her arm, covered in a dark aura, down onto his back.

Randy was feeling himself being pummeled by Yveltal, gritting his teeth and still keeping himself in the motion of getting up. "...I-I'm...not...done..." he growled out through his gritting teeth. "Not...until...I get...back home..."

Tianzi's Solarbeam managed to carve a path for herself, but it was soon responded by Groudon's own Solarbeam, this time way stronger than any of his previous. Even while Tianzi herself was strengthened by his intense sunlight, she knew she was not going to last that long if she kept at it like this.

But she saw Scarlet took the opportunity to attack Groudon, and Tianzi herself felt that it was her own opportunity to get the opening to land a strong hit at Groudon. Her figure hidden by the incoming brilliant light of the two clashing Solarbeams, as Groudon went to counter Scarlet, Tianzi used her last Teleport of the day to position herself right behind the Legend.

Putting her all into it, Tianzi blasted him with Solarbeam from up close.

Celebi smiled at Ari and patted his head. Which was unusual as she wasn't much different in size as him. "You're a good boy. You, Kazo, Astrid, Grace...That one probably." She pointed back at Mac, causing Ari to snigger. "Regirock was right that Chasers these days are rather...different. But I think...seasons have to change eventually. Some seasons are worse, some are better. So...do you think you'll make the next season a better one?"

The Litleo grinned brightly, a fire in his eyes now, a fire that he had lost for quite some time. "Yes!" he said confidently. "I will. If we don't try and change things, then nothing will ever improve, don't you think?" His expression sobered. "One day, I'll be a Chaser worthy of the name," he promised.

Celebi then gestured Ari and Mac to follow her over to the others, answering what was probably an earlier statement that the fire type had missed. She stared at the sky as she seemed to make up her mind to leave and join some sort of fight. A threat. Ari wondered if that threat was that Gardevoir, though after what she said...he had a bad feeling there was more to it. Mac wanted them to go with Celebi, but the legendary seemed to think they still had stuff to do on their end. Though Ari wasn't sure what. Maybe more training? He definitely needed it. But what was that about convincing people?

"Alright boss. What should we do now?" Kazo asked, jolting Ari from this thoughts. "I mean, besides the obvious 'make sure Grace and Astrid will be okay before we make tracks'."

"Yeah, 'boss,'" the Litleo turned to Mac, grinning mischievously. "What's the plan?"

"You'd better! This new crew ain't bad but they're not nearly as fun as you all were. We had some wild times didn't we? Everyone here...well they're strong in their own way, and they're family too. Just nothing can beat the classics I guess." Those words caused Easter's heart to clench. He hadn't thought...well, at the time, it was just so painful, that he didn't think too much on how his leaving would affect Clyde, or even Captain.

"Clyde...I'm sorry..." he murmured.

The Swampert gave a chuckle. "I'm starting to sound like an old man aren't I? A handsome old man, of course!" He laughed once more and patted Easter on the back again, causing the Sylveon to feel as if he had just gotten smashed by a brick wall. It was a nostalgic feeling. "Feel free to meet any of the crew, maybe they can learn a thing or two, and Captain's always willing to talk to you as well." Clyde looked a bit sad as he said that. "He's not been quite as...shining as he used to be these days. Maybe he's getting old, too." He ended with another chuckle.

"Heh," Easter smirked, summoning up a bit of his old energy. "Never thought I'd see the day. Captain, an old man. Should remember to call him that when I see him." Nah, he'd probably get knocked on his ass if he did that, but it was an amusing thought. "As for the new crew...maybe," he cracked his knuckles casually. "Gotta see which is better...Eeveelutions or electrical poltergeists." It might do well to distract him from his thoughts lately, which had gotten darker and darker as time passed.

"You cannot run from death." Yveltal said to Keanu, shaking her head slowly. "You are part of this and you must die along with the rest." She then started to fade away, vanishing into a rift which opened up behind her.

Keanu tensed. He had a feeling...and yep, there it was. Ouch, ouch ouch ouch. Oh huh, the other Pikachu was running at him, and jumped behind him. He turned just in time to see them kicking Yveltal in the face. "There's a huuuuuge conflict somewhere I could tell you about. Like an entire region's worth of conflict. It's pretty far away so your wings might get tired, but after all that time in that egg you could probably use the exercise."

Keanu grimaced, pretty sure he knew what they were talking about. Alola...

The other Pikachu landed, turning their attention to Keanu and Marie. "You two okay?"

The electric type saluted. "Mo' betta, braddah!" he was about to see if he could give her a berry as thanks when he heard Randy roar, and glanced over that way. "Oh dats a dirty lick'n," he winced. This is why he wanted to run away. But Yveltal said she wouldn't let them run, and now Randy was in the thick of it.

"Ugggh," he sighed. "Why does this have to fall to me?"

He shook his head before yelling out, "Eh! Like beef? Well ya got it." And with that, he threw an Electro Ball the legendary's way.

The Rotom in front of Morgan smirked, rubbing the back of his head. "Truth be told, I'm probably... not the best person to ask for that." He said, his tone very slightly morose.

"Ehh?"

"Although I can lead you to who you need to see!" he turned around, gesturing the girl to follow him. "I'm sure they'll be ok with talking to a fan... er... say, what's your name again?"

"Morgan! But uhh...well," she paused, before blurting out her thoughts. "I thought you were cool too!" her face reddened with embarrassment, but she kept going. "Just managing to stay alive fighting against somebody that powerful, it's way more than what I, or anybody else, could do." The Eevee sighed, but forced herself not to dwell on that. "So...no, I don't think I wanna talk to them right now. I wanna talk to you!" she finished stubbornly. "Uh...what's your name again?"

It was then that they entered the tent, where a pretty woman who gave off a warm feeling looked up. She was talking with a man who looked really cheerful. There was also an attractive-looking girl sleeping on the floor, and...Kyogre, lying on a cot, but she didn't look as angry anymore, so maybe it was fine. Morgan still couldn't hold back the shiver at seeing her though.

"Oh, Lok, there you...oh hello there." The warm lady smiled sweetly as she got up. Her smile widened even more as she looked at Morgan. "Well aren't you a cute one. What's your name, sweetie? Can I do something for you?"

Feeling a little embarrassed at her earlier outburst, Morgan looked down at the ground before looking back up. "Eheheh, I'm Morgan, and yeah!" She regained her former confidence. "You can do something! You can tell me how to get cool and strong, but first," she pointed at Lok. "You need to tell me how! No getting away from this!" she squinted threateningly at him, but it just made her look like she was having a hard time seeing.

Nine could understand the sentiment that Gwen had, and wasn't entirely sure what to do to fix that problem. It was true that most of the others they had stumbled across, if not immediately involved in it didn't care enough to stop it. Yet, at the very least here there was someone who had been willing to step in and help them, so perhaps there was hope yet. All the same, their conversation had come to a halt as a young Eevee had made their way in lead by Lok, who seemed to be both flustered yet full of energy all the same. As she asked Lok how to be strong, the Houndoom couldn't help but chuckle and give a friendly smile at the Rotom.  "Well come on Lok, you've been to all kinds of amazing places and fought all kinds of amazing places, so tell her everything you can." While Nine's tone was certainly playful, he was certainly curious to see what Lok had for an answer.

Marie's eyes went wide as Keanu was assaulted by the legend, and could only back away from it as they  had teleported near them. While she was worried as to what to do to help him, the other newcomer managed to come to his aid. The girl let out a sigh of relief, only to see the legend brutalize Randy down once more, causing her to tighten her fists in the sight of it all. The girl didn't pay much attention to the strange looking pikachu, instead beginning to grit her teeth as she looked at the legend. "You-, you-, you-" the girl began to mutter. "You big bully!" As she shouted at Yveltal, a large pulse of pink energy was carried out, making its way towards the legend.

Groudon's Mountain Team Showdown

Soon she found herself face to face with Groudon. Without hesitating, she dashed towards him, firing off an uppercut right into the legend's jaw. The legend had been caught off guard as the pincer crashed into his head, sending him back a bit. Landing on the ground, Scarlet immediately dashed back in, trying to get another solid hit on the legend.

Groudon, seeing this, let out a savage roar as he cocked back a fiery fist to match Scarlet's Bullet Punch. The two fists collide with each other, holding each other in place for a second. However, even with her enhanced strength, the sheer primal power of the flaming fist was too much. Scarlet was send flying backwards as a heat wave formed around them, her wings flapping in a vein attempt to slow herself before tumbling onto the ground. Groudon started walking towards the Scizor, but before he could do much of anything, Tianzi's Solar Beam struck Groudon from behind.

Meanwhile, Scarlet was trying to pick herself off of the ground, her fist burning from the impact. There was a rather nasty mark left on the crimson metal pincer. "I hope this isn't permanent..." Scarlet muttered to herself, getting up from the ground.

"I thought you were cool too!" His face reddened, taken back by what Morgan had said. "Just managing to stay alive fighting against somebody that powerful, it's way more than what I, or anybody else, could do." He'd never really thought about it that way, although he knew a large part of why he had survived was due to how weak he was compared to the others. Still, it was nice to hear someone had noticed him, although the thought of having a fan... "So...no, I don't think I wanna talk to them right now. I wanna talk to you! Uh...what's your name again?"

"Lok..." Lok smiled at the girl, before his expression shifted. "And, well uh..."

He didn't really have much time to answer Morgan's question, as they had made it back to the tent. "Oh, Lok, there you... oh hello there." Lok waved back at Gwen, before she addressed Morgan. As Morgan was answering to Gwen, Lok nodded before deciding to sneak out and take in the air outside, hoping the girl wouldn't notice him.

"You need to tell me how! No getting away from this!" Lok stopped, before turning around. There was no getting out of this. He started to get nervous, his eyes shifting to Nine in hopes that he'd take the spotlight off of him.

"Well come on Lok, you've been to all kinds of amazing places and fought all kinds of amazing places, so tell her everything you can." Well there goes that idea. Lok sighed, before shrugging at the girl.

"I-I'm flattered, but..." He said, nervously laughing. "I... I really don't think I should be giving anyone advice about that. I mean yeah, I didn't die, but I spent most of the fight with my face in the dirt..." His eyes seemed to dim a bit. "I'd be dead if it weren't for the rest of them." He gestured to the rest of his team. "Honestly, it's a miracle that I was even conscious this time..." He shook his head, before turning back to Morgan, eyes lighting up again. He shrugged. "Sorry to disappoint."

Team Alola, Day 15, Mowloo

Yveltal was fully prepared to kill Randy right then and there. She saw his tenacity but knew that he wouldn't be able to last much longer in the face of her incredible strength.

What she wasn't prepared for was the Pikachu. Who had been previously so uncertain about fighting. He struck her with a powerful jolt of electricity. She spread her wings and flew up into the air with a terrifying screech.

Which almost drowned out the young girl's voice. Almost, but not enough for it not to reach her. Yveltal crossed her arms over her body as the attack struck. Why? Why were these children actually harming her?

They were stronger than she had thought. A word came to her mind. A word that she hadn't thought in a while. "Chasers." She said ominously. Her gaze swept over them. "Very well. Let this be your test. Pass. Or. Die." Her wings spread out farther than they had before and, with one mighty flap, she sent several energy blasts racing towards each of the group.

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 30, S.S. Showdown

"But, do you need help with those buckets of water?"

"Ahhh...maybe." Solana said, scratching her nose and grinning. "It can get pretty heated at times. Let's go get us some buckets then!"

Dora clapped her hands together. "Except for me! I'm going up there right now!" She shouted before taking off.

"I like it! Trava, show him to the buckets, I'm gonna follow her on up."

Trava grunted and jumped to her feet from laying down, without a moment's hesitation. "C'mon, I know where those are for sure." She told Denku as she did a front roll out the door and walked, with exaggeratedly large steps, to the left.

Once the buckets were gathered Denku and Trava would meet Solana and Dora on the deck. Where a large stage had taken up much of the space.

---

"Gotta see which is better...Eeveelutions or electrical poltergeists."

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Just then an explosion could be heard on the deck. "Speaking of which...come on, let's go see what these idiots are getting up to now."

---

Apanie and Edna were up on the stage. Edna panting heavily, glowering at her opponent, with Apanie standing stock still, holding her stance sideways with one arm up in the air. With a growl Edna shouted out "You're going down this time!" She fired off a Thunderbolt towards the other girl. A massive bolt which crackled loudly and raced forward. Apanie let loose a sigh as her own Thunderbolt, equal in size, shot forward and met Edna's. The two bolts collided and caused an explosion. Wind and pebbles struck the two, Edna bracing herself, Apanie standing still.

Before the wind began to die down Apanie shifted her position so her other side was facing Edna and fired off a large torrent of water, the Hydro Pump which struck Edna and sent her flying off the stage.

Apanie shrugged and turned heading off the other side of the stage with a bored "Guess not". Meanwhile Edna was cursing and stomping her feet, flames dancing around her as she angrily launched a fireball across the boat, catching some of the floorboards on fire.

Team Mac, Day 26, Weynon

"Alright boss. What should we do now?"

"Yeah, 'boss, What's the plan?"

Mac, who had been feeling a bit down after Celebi's words, felt herself swell back up as the others asked her that question. Puffing out her chest she nodded firmly, ignoring Celebi's laughter. "That's right, in that case the plan...which I know, is...It's...."

She seemed unsure for a moment then she took a step forward and pointed at Kazo and Ari. "We sleep! And tomorrow we head off! To Ogren! It's the next city on the way after all! And there's a lake nearby that we can stop by." She thought of the last lake they had visited and lowered her arm. "Whoever it was back then...they might be there. I still need to thank them...and tell them I didn't need help!"

She looked over at Astrid and Celebi. "Do you think you'll be okay on your own?" She asked.

Astrid didn't look directly at her but nodded. "Yes...I think so."

Celebi answered with more certainty. "I'll look after them tonight. And when I leave...well, there won't be any reason for anyone to come for them. They came here for refuge after leaving their home...and they would have been fine had I not been here."

Mac felt like she wasn't getting the full story. Though she didn't really feel like she needed it. She was already thinking about the next part of her journey. This had been exciting, but, "There's more waiting for us out there. More adventure. More fights." She smiled wide at the other two and her eyes glinted dangerously. "And I wanna see it all."

Team Showdown, Day 29, Groudon's Mountain

Groudon growled as he bent forward. Smoke from the blast rising from his back. Tianzi had managed to land a strong hit on him while he was preoccupied with the red woman. He could feel his energy leaving him.

But it wasn't quite finished. With one more roar Groudon seemed to sink into the ground. Then, to the side of both Tianzi and Scarlet, the earth rose up in a large pillar with Groudon on top of it.

He stomped his feet and a pulse of energy went through the pillar. Then disks of earth began to shoot out from it. Several feet in diameter they would fling towards Scarlet and Tianzi. And, as they fired, Groudon got closer and closer to ground-level.

If the two focused they would be able to see a figure creeping her way behind Groudon as he launched this rather unusual attack. A figure cloaked in ice.

Team Karaoke, Day 27, Northshore

Gwen felt her smile waver as Morgan made her intentions clear. It didn't feel right to her. Though it was nice to see Lok get praised, something he clearly wasn't used to.

She raised her arm and cupped her chin, hand partially covering her mouth, as she examined the two for a few moments. "You have no reason to be sorry, Lok." She said after a time. "Being good at fighting...isn't something anyone should be proud of. Nor should it be what one focuses on." She looked at Morgan and lowered her hand, showing the gentle smile beneath. "Morgan, I'm only strong because I have to be. But I think...it would be wonderful if it wasn't so. If we could live somewhere that people didn't have to be strong to get by." She blushed a bit and looked over at Nine. "Not that it's shameful to be strong or anything...I think we all need to remember that there's more to this world than fighting." Then, quieter, almost to herself. "At least I hope so..."

"Chasers. Very well. Let this be your test. Pass. Or. Die."

There was that word again..."Chasers". Randy was familiar with the word...after all, Morgan and her parents in Northshore immediately thought they were...

"Chasers are those who have taken up the challenge. They usually go across the whole region looking for the legendaries..."

"It is a barbaric and imbecilic practice! Nothing but ignorant fools chasing after myths. So you are not Chasers, then. Still, to have never heard of them before... You are lucky for it."

Chasers...Godslayers, the thing Allie was. Right now, he was confused. Ever since he got here, there hasn't been a concrete definition of what those terms truly meant. The latter, he could most likely figure out off the back. After all, the blood lust in Allie's eyes was proof enough of what her intentions were. But that only left the former.

About this time, he noticed the strikes that Yveltal was sending the group's way. Randy did what he could to dodge some, but right now, he needed to know...he needed some sort of answer. "HEY!!" he shouted, seeing that Yveltal was higher up from where they were. "You used that word...Chaser...I've heard it too much around here...but...WHAT EVEN IS THAT, HUH?!"

"You who test yourselves against Legends."

"Test our-" he muttered back, before looking back at Yveltal. Randy started thinking now about this situation. What Morgan's parents were saying made it sound like this was bad...that Chasers were actually bad. But then Allie walked into the picture and proclaimed 'Godslayer', which was definitely bad. He clenched his fist tightly now. "Wait...test ourselves...you mean, if we fight...not kill...we can get stronger?"

There was no answer from Yveltal. Not even a look that the Incineroar could find in her eyes to show that he was right in his assumption. All he could see, was her battle frenzy.

A chance...a chance to become even stronger? he thought, looking away from the gijinka. Closing his eyes, he could see the silhouettes of the top names in the PPGWF...and then, at the top of that little ladder, the Blastoise. A chance to topple that king...

He was silent for a good moment, before a slight chuckle was heard. "Heh...Guardians be damned...this is an opportunity..." he started to say, slowly running his hands through his hair for a moment. Then, Randy stared right at Yveltal, slamming his fist into his open hand. "It's decided...if this'll make me stronger...then I'll do it. Sign me up for being one of those Chasers...I'll fight however many I need to, just to rise to the top spot back on Alola."

Poké: 500

"...I-I'm...not...done.. Not...until...I get...back home..."

"Oh dats a dirty lick'n."

"Yep." It was pretty obvious there was no getting out of this fight, but between Randy's tenacity, Keanu's attack after all that time plotting up... whatever he was thinking of, and Marie's follow-up, things were sure to work out, right?

"Chasers. Very well. Let this be your test. Pass. Or. Die."

We're not Chasers though. It was a word the people in Adarid sure did like throwing around. People who challenged Legendaries to prove their might. It was something Yveltal had clarified. Nani, for one, was never much for fighting unless she had to. Challenging such mighty figures as Legends just seemed stupid. Something reserved for muscleheads with nothing better to do.

"It's decided...if this'll make me stronger...then I'll do it. Sign me up for being one of those Chasers...I'll fight however many I need to, just to rise to the top spot back on Alola."

As nice as it was that Randy was suddenly a lot more motivated to fight, it didn't change the fact that he wasn't actually doing much right now. Just being there all like "challenge accepted". At least he was in a convenient spot. Nani burst out into full sprint, moving directly toward Randy. As she got closer to Randy, the Mimikyu jumped up, planting her feet on the Incineroar's head and leaving him with a quick "Less talking, more not-dying," before jumping up a second time, legs glowing that same distinct pink again. If Yveltal was going to hover in the air where she'd be harder to reach, then Nani would just have to find other ways up there, right? And so, the Mimikyu swung her legs briefly up, then straight down in a kick attack aimed at the murder bird.

"I'm more impressed by what you've done, to be honest. Deku doesn't seem like a place that someone would bother trying to make something...good." Jane laughed nervously. "I hope that isn't rude. I just think...You seem quite useful to have around as well, is all."

Brooke wasn’t sure how to respond to that, so instead she bit her lip and continued working. They had nearly managed to scrape all the excess paint up. “... Most people would think that. Deku wasn’t ever a good place; you had to be tough to survive there.”  She finished peeling the final strip of paint off of the floor and tossed it into the pile behind her, then pushed herself up to her knees to look at Jane. “People from there know that. Generosity is more often than not vulnerability--it’s what we think because it’s all we’ve ever known. I just… I opened the shop to try and change that. I wanted to give the little brats on the street a place they knew they were safe, to try and change that mentality.”

She dusted her hands off and stood up. “I just wanted to teach them that not everyone in the world was trying to take advantage of them. Think I mighta been the one who learned a lesson though. Anyways… It’s been nice but I should go check up on my friends. Need anything else, or?”

Mac puffed out her chest. "That's right, in that case the plan...which I know, is...It's...." She seemed unsure for a moment then she took a step forward and pointed at Kazo and Ari. "We sleep! And tomorrow we head off! To Ogren! It's the next city on the way after all! And there's a lake nearby that we can stop by." She lowered her arm. "Whoever it was back then...they might be there. I still need to thank them...and tell them I didn't need help!"

Ari shook his head. Some things would never change, and Mac's extreme overconfidence was one of them. "Okay," he replied. Thinking about it, it had been a long day, and he was ready for a nap at this point. Or just plain sleep.

Mac looked over at Astrid and Celebi.

Their home? Wait, where had they been from originally? The lion had been distracted when they were talking in the tree before, but he didn't remember ever getting any details on that. "What?! You guys had to flee? What happened, more Godslayers?"

Mac on the other hand had gotten lost in her lust for adventure. "There's more waiting for us out there. More adventure. More fights." She smiled wide at the other two and her eyes glinted dangerously. "And I wanna see it all."

"Of course you do," Ari deadpanned, before gaining a spark of his own. "But I think I understand what you mean. I wanna fight too, and eventually grow tough enough people will look at me and think: he's so cool, what a Chaser!" he laughed a bit in embarrassment. "But the next stop is Ogren, huh? I don't know anything about it, but hopefully we won't have to run into any more bad guys...or maybe we should hope for that? Hmm..." He squinted his eyes shut as he thought about that.

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Clyde shouted. Just then an explosion could be heard on the deck. "Speaking of which...come on, let's go see what these idiots are getting up to now."

Easter grinned as he followed, his heart feeling just a little bit lighter, a little bit more bearable. This brought back memories, a bittersweet feeling. For so long, he had been running away from them, trying to forget, but maybe what he had really needed was to face them head-on. If that was the case, then he would take the opportunity that had been granted to him.

They approached the stage, where a couple of the Rotom were fighting. One, the Sylveon remembered apologizing to earlier, the other had been the silent one with a powerful aura. The two shot twin Thunderbolts toward each other, but the other took advantage of the other's hesitation at the resulting explosion to fire off a Hydro Pump, which finished the match. The other proved herself a sore loser, cursing and stomping her feet as she launched a fireball in a random direction, her anger causing tongues of flame to dance around her form.

"Does this happen often?" the fairy type deadpanned. He didn't have a water-type move, but he knew that Clyde did, or at least a ground-type move, so he wasn't too worried.

Still staggering a bit from the earlier attack, Keanu caught Marie's words past the haze of pain. "You-, you-, you- you big bully!"

The Pikachu wanted to say something, to tell her not to attack, but the words wouldn't come. Instead he watched as she released a pulse of pink energy.

"Chasers." Yveltal said ominously, having jumped to the wrong conclusion now. Her gaze swept over them. "Very well. Let this be your test. Pass. Or. Die." Her wings spread out farther than they had before and, with one mighty flap, she sent several energy blasts racing towards each of the group.

Keanu used his speed to avoid most of them, though he was more concerned with what Randy was shouting. He seemed to take to the idea of being a Chaser, if his words were anything to go by. "Heh...Guardians be damned...this is an opportunity... It's decided...if this'll make me stronger...then I'll do it. Sign me up for being one of those Chasers...I'll fight however many I need to, just to rise to the top spot back on Alola."

That's if we even manage to get back, Keanu thought, but bit back the comment. Now was not the time to be worrying over that, or as the strange Pikachu so succinctly put it, "Less talking, more not-dying," ending with a kick. They must be more of a physical Pikachu. He'd heard tales of a Pikachu who used Iron Tail quite frequently, and had even participated in a fighting competition, the P1 Grand Prix if he recalled correctly. Then there was of course, Pikachu Libre, one of the few wrestlers he actually knew about, being a fellow Pikachu.

But he was getting sidetracked again. Keanu smiled and charged up another Electro Ball, shooting it at Yveltal's form.

"I-I'm flattered, but..." Lok laughed nervously.

Morgan pouted. She hadn't put her full attention on the fight, but she had watched enough to know that the boy in front of her hadn't been quite as useless as he said. "I don't know about that," she muttered rebelliously. And it was obvious that at least one of them, the Houndoom, agreed with her, letting her know that not only had this not been his first fight with a bad guy, but that he was also really well-traveled. It made her wonder why exactly her parents were so against Chasers, unless it had to do with him. Maybe.

"You have no reason to be sorry, Lok," the warm woman said after a time.

"I don't believe that!" Morgan protested stridently. "Sure, if we didn't have to fight and stuff, that'd be for the best." Her voice lowered. "I saw what it did to this place, my home..." she trailed off. "But if you guys weren't cool and good at fighting, if the captain wasn't strong and willing to fight, then this place would be...gone," she choked up slightly on the last word before shaking her head and staring straight at the ghost type in front of her. "So I think what you guys did, you being good at fighting, that's something you guys should feel you can brag about." The Eevee grinned, stars starting to shine in her eyes. "Someday I wanna be as cool and strong as you all."

"Yeah, 'boss, What's the plan?"

"That's right, in that case the plan...which I know, is...It's.... We sleep! And tomorrow we head off! To Ogren! It's the next city on the way after all! And there's a lake nearby that we can stop by. Whoever it was back then...they might be there.

"What?! You guys had to flee? What happened, more Godslayers?" Ari cried out, which made Kazo fold his arms in thought.

"Yeah, that's kinda important, isn't it? If it was Godslayers, then who knows how many of them there are...?" Granted, it wasn't like what happened was any of the group's business, but knowing if there was more of those people out there would be nice.

Of course Mac didn't need to know such information.

Kazo chuckled, walking over and plopping down next to Ari before reaching out and rubbing his head.

"Eh? But I know people already think you're a pretty awesome Chaser, ya know," Kazo said with a toothy grin before pausing and leaning back, stopping the head rubs. "Orgen, huh? Last I heard, some people I really care about moved there...," He took a deep breath before sighing. "It's been ten years at this point there. They probably wouldn't recognize me...," he muttered before adding mentally "Or even still consider me family,"  He looked over to Mac. "Alright, well, the lake doesn't seem like a bad idea. We should take them for saving our leader, right?" He chuckled, scratching his cheek. "Why don't you and Ari go rest? I'll watch over Edgelord until he wakes up,"

Denku watched the battle rage, which ended pretty one sided, it seemed. The Rotom fought the other Rotom with all their might, but the one Rotom beat the other Rotom, causing that Rotom to launch a fireball, setting some boards on fire.

Rotom.

Denku was quiet as he picked up Dora, aiming her like a gun at the flames before speaking. "Go ahead, Dora, put out the fire," This crew was weird and he wasn't sure how much more he wanted to deal with the group. Hell, he barely knew his own group, he really should be getting to know them, right? They knew more about him than he did about them, after all.

"When. are. you. will. give. up!"

Tianzi attempted her best to dodge the disks, and blasting those that she couldn't using her Solarbeam. Groudon's light was still going strong enough for her to fire it continuously, but even she started to feel personal exhaustion from how much had she fired so far. Tianzi always attempted to find an opportunity to shoot at Groudon, but she was always blocked by an upcoming disk. Without any teleports left for her, all that she could do aside from letting her body be torn apart by the disks. But...she couldn't afford to do that just yet. With one loud yell, Tianzi attempted to shoot a Solarbeam at Groudon during a brief free time, though at the cost of one of the disk hitting her, breaking her left arm.

"Take this!"

Nine merely gave a small smirk as Gwen made her comment towards him, but then looked towards Morgan as she responded to the woman with great exuberance. Clapping his hands together he said, "well, if you're so intent on getting stronger, then I'll give you a bit of advice. First and foremost, you gotta learn to learn from others as best you can, when you can. In that vein, second." He pointed to Lok. "Know your limits and what you can do. This kid over here, it's no miracle that he's stayed alive right now. He's just aware of what his limits are, and what he's able to do. Keeps his head down when he can't and does what he can. So, you just gotta learn what your own limits are. Third."

The man pointed to Gwen. "Fighting isn't everything, and it isn't the only form of strength there is. It's a last resort, and when you start bragging about how strong you are, it gets closer to becoming a first one. So, figure out what you can do beyond just fighting to help someone. Get better at that, and learn to try and use that so that you don't have to fight, and in turn don't have others feel like they have to fight you. And finally," he pointed to himself as he said, "hopefully when this is all over, we'll be in a world where fighting isn't something you have to do to be as cool and strong as all of us. So look towards that kind of a future kiddo and works towards being a different kind of strong."

Marie, in addition to being already nervous and afraid of the giant legend before them was made only more confused by their sudden declaration that they were chasers. This was made only more so by her also stating that this was a test and seemed to get even more serious then they already were. As the legend fired off pulses of energy at all of them, the girl briefly froze in the face of such awesome power being directed towards her. Ducking out of the way, though obviously slow to do so, the girl managed to avoid getting slammed by the full force of the attack but an unbelievable pain radiated through her back as it passed over her. Biting hard down on her lip to keep herself from screaming, this ended in futility as she merely let out yet another shout towards Yveltal, firing off yet another pulse of pink energy at them.

Groudon's Mountain Team Showdown

Scarlet grit her teeth as she watched the giant pillar form, rising Groudon up to the heavens. Almost as soon as it rose, it started sinking slowly, ejecting disks of earth at her and Tianzi. There wasn't really a way for them to reach Groudon as he made his strange attack, especially not with the disks launching at them at incredible speeds. Scarlet did her best to dodge the disks that were coming at her, but she was slowly losing the adrenaline rush seeing Taiga faint had given her.

From the corner of her eye, she saw Tianzi fire off a Solarbeam, although she had been hit pretty badly by one of the disks. Instinctively, Scarlet made her way towards the Xatu, sliding under one of the disks as it came flying towards her. As she made it near her companion, an idea popped in her head. Without saying much of anything to her, Scarlet picked up Tianzi bridal-styled. "I dodge, you shoot." She simply said, before having to dash forward in order to evade another disk.

Lok stood back as he watched the conversation unfold, grinning back at Gwen when she commented about not having to be strong. When Nine finished, Lok sighed a bit, walking up towards Morgana. "I think the rest of them put it better than I could ever hope too." He chuckled a bit, rubbing the back of his head. "The only thing I can think of is that if you are gonna fight... and I'm not saying that you should fight, but if you're gonna do it... well... make sure you've got something worth fighting for."

Team Alola, Day 15, Mowloo

Randy had barely managed to get out of the way of most of the attack, though he still managed to get clipped by the occasional Wing, and his words...didn't seem to have much effect on the Legend before them.

Nani's jump looked impressive. And, indeed, it might have been more impressive...had the Mimikyu not completely ignored the fact that Yveltal was attacking. Mid-air Nani was struck by several Oblivion Wing attacks which passed through her body and sent pain through her senses. Which caused her to drop down to the ground before she could reach the woman.

As neither of the others were much of a threat to her eyes Yveltal was focused more on the other two. Who had managed to damage her. Keanu's electric attack was sent after he nimbly dodged her own attack. With a raised hand Yveltal shot out a Focus Blast to collide with the Electro Ball. The attack was swift enough that, though it didn't reach the bird, she was still struck by some of the recoil of the blast. Which gave Marie an easy opening to strike Yveltal with the Fairy move.

The Legend looked towards the girl. "You have attacks like her. But you use them for battle. If only she was here to see this." Yveltal then vanished once more. This time appearing behind Keanu and grabbing the Pikachu on the back of the neck before raising him to the air.

With a flap of her wings she launched another Oblivion Wing at Marie while clutching onto the surfer. "From where do you derive this strength?" She asked him. "And what is it for?"

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 30, S.S. Showdown

When Brooke stood and got ready to leave she would see a look of gentle admiration on Jane's face. It quickly shifted to a neutral one when she noticed that Brooke was watching. "Ah, yes, er no. No, everything is okay now thank you again...Did I thank you already? Well, thank you nonetheless." Hearing the commotion up on the deck Jane suggested that perhaps her friends were up there now. "You can leave the rest to me, it won't take long. Oh and...thank you for the work you've done...n-not here, just. You know." She smiled awkwardly before going back to finishing up.

-----

"Does this happen often?"

Clyde grunted as he raised his arms and created a spinning Whirlpool of water to move across the deck. With that and the bucket patrol, and Dora's Water Gun, the flames started to die down. "Yeeep. Whenever she loses to Apanie. Which is whenever they fight...And she tries to fight her every day." He looked over at Easter and nudged his shoulder. "But at least she never caught the sail on fire like Rei did."

--

"Look at me! I'm like a...a....water putter outer thing!" Dora exclaimed. She was giggling between spurts of water. Which caused her to almost hit Edna with one.

The Rotom looked at Denku with an outraged expression. "Be careful where you're pointing that thing!" She said.

Apanie, strolling past without looking, called out in a monotone. "Who was the one who almost set the boat on fire?"

Which seemed to only get Edna more mad.

Though Dora didn't care. She had just spotted Easter and thought it'd be funny to hit him with a Water Gun. "Tag!" She shouted and broke out into more giggles.

Team Mac, Day 26, Weynon

But I think I understand what you mean. Hmm..."

"That's the spirit!" Mac said with a cheer, patting Ari on the back. "If there are bad guys we'll just take them down is all! Can't be an awesome Chaser if we can't handle some bullies."

She looked over at Kazo. "I'm sure once they see you've joined with such an awesome group they'll be sorry that they weren't around more."

At Kazo's mention of watching over Edgelord they heard Grace's words. The woman was now kneeling and getting up to her feet. "No need. I can handle that much. He won't cause any more trouble in these parts." She promised grimly. "It's the least I can do after failing to stop them."

Astrid put a hand on her arm but Grace shook her head. "You wanted to know what happened before right?" She looked at Astrid and then the group. "This girl's the daughter of the so called Emperor of Adarid. Problem is his wife isn't a Lilligant." She scoffed. "After some...rumors came out he sent her away with me to keep her out of the public, and his wife's, eye. So, no, nothing as grand as a Godslayer. Just a deadbeat father who happens to be in power."

Team Karaoke, Day 27, Northshore

Gwen smiled sadly at Morgan. "I wish I could be as certain as you." She muttered. Then, after the rest had their say, she spoke again. "Well, there you have it, Morgan. I hope that this lived up to your expectations." She gave a laugh. "But I wonder, shouldn't you head off to you family? I'm sure they're worried about you."

Fiona stirred then, rolling onto her back and, eyes still closed, groaning out. "Why is everyone talking so much? Doesn't anyone sleep around here?"

Team Showdown, Day 29, Groudon's Mountain

Groudon didn't seem to budge even as the Solarbeam struck him. Instead he just let out one more roar. The pillar he was standing upon seemed to be shrinking in size and, after a dozen more disks, it would be gone and Groudon would be on ground level once more. However while sending out these attacks the Legend raised his arms and the lava around him erupted and fell down upon the duo. Though it was weaker than it had been at the start it was still a formidable attack from a powerful Gijinka.

He didn't seem to notice the figure behind him and, as he attacked with ground and fire, Isole let loose a Blizzard towards his back. Hoping that the others would use this time to attack as well. Otherwise she might end up paying for her decision to re-enter the battle.

Marie hadn't the faintest idea who Yveltal had been talking about, nor did she particularly care at this moment. Instead, her eyes went as the legend vanished once more, and appeared near Keanu. Before the girl could say anything, she had to avoid yet another blast of energy sent her away. While she was more aware this time, her body wasn't nearly as fast as her mind was. As such, the pulse of energy passed through her arm as she tried to avoid it, causing her to yell out in pain once again. However, despite the tears forming in her eyes and the pain feeling very intense, the girl shouted out, "let go of him you big bully!" With one more pulse of energy, the girl fired off yet another one of her disarming voices at them.

Kazo chuckled, walking over and plopping down next to Ari before reaching out and rubbing his head. "Eh? But I know people already think you're a pretty awesome Chaser, ya know," he said with a toothy grin before pausing and leaning back, stopping the head rubs.

"Huh, really?" Ari perked up at this. "Who, who?"

"That's the spirit!" Mac interrupted with a cheer, patting Ari on the back. "If there are bad guys we'll just take them down is all! Can't be an awesome Chaser if we can't handle some bullies."

As the topic of where they were going next was brought up, the Gabite took a deep breath before sighing. "Ogren, huh? Last I heard, some people I really care about moved there... It's been ten years at this point there. They probably wouldn't recognize me..."

Mac looked over at Kazo. "I'm sure once they see you've joined with such an awesome group they'll be sorry that they weren't around more."

"Yeah, yeah!" Ari chimed in. "Nobody could look at you and not think you're cool. Unless they're blind..." he muttered the last bit, thinking about Suiten...or Keldeo, whatever his name was. Though at the end, it had seemed like he had improved his opinion of Kazo, but he had still left them anyway.

"Alright, well, the lake doesn't seem like a bad idea. We should thank them for saving our leader, right? Why don't you and Ari go rest? I'll watch over Edgelord until he wakes up."

At that, Grace rose. "No need. I can handle that much. He won't cause any more trouble in these parts." She promised grimly. "It's the least I can do after failing to stop them."

Just a deadbeat father who happens to be in power."

"Wh-what?!" Ari gaped, mouth hanging open. "That's horrible! How could he do that? He's a king-er, emperor, and also a father." He couldn't imagine his father or mother ever abandoning him like that if he were born something else...like a Poochyena. The Litleo shuddered at the thought.

The Sylveon chuckled, glancing up at the flapping sailcloth and shaking his head. "True, at least there's that." His reminiscing was cut short by a bullet of water shot out by Dora, who had been picked up by Denku to squirt water at the flames. "Tag!" She shouted and broke out into more giggles.

Easter spluttered and shook his head, hair falling limply over his face, now soaking wet. "Hey!" he shouted, a little annoyed and a little amused. "You little brat!" he was about to march over there and get some revenge when he stopped, glancing down at the whirlpool on the deck. Swiftly changing his mind, he ducked behind a nearby beam so he wouldn't get hit again.

Keanu tsked as his attack was stopped by Yveltal's own attack. He was about to charge up another ball of lightning when he was grabbed by the scruff of the neck and raised into the air. He squirmed, trying to get out of her grip, but the legendary was far stronger than he.

With a flap of her wings the flying type launched another violet beam of energy at Marie while clutching onto the surfer. "From where do you derive this strength?" She asked him. "And what is it for?"

"What...strength?" he choked out. He wasn't strong, he was weak, always had been. Weak and a coward. It was why he ran away, the only thing he knew how to do. He sighed. This was why he tried to avoid using Nasty Plot. It came with dark thoughts, thoughts he couldn't run away from. But ever since the attack on Alola, he had been chased by such dark thoughts more and more frequently.

"I'm not a super-strong Chaser," he finally said. "My strength...you could say it's my cowardice," he chuckled weakly. "I'm not strong, but I'm a survivor. Because I know when to run away, and when not to fight. Something none of you Adarid brahs seem to get." With that, he charged up another Electro Ball, throwing it upward and backward as if spiking a volleyball.

Everybody seemed pretty keen to tell Morgan that fighting wasn't the answer, but how could she agree? She had seen firsthand how fighting had saved their town, something that the gijinka in front of her seemed to underestimate. If they weren't there, then her home might have been destroyed, and her along with it. Still, she wasn't raised to disrespect her elders, so the Eevee listened to their words, ears drooping slightly.

The way they were talking, it sounded like they were worried she'd turn into a battle-happy maniac. But that was impossible. Those kinds of people seemed to be born and bred for that--it was in their blood. She was never like that, had never shown such interest before recently, when she saw that group of gijinka protect a legendary from somebody trying to kill it. And now here, these gijinka had fought to protect as well.

The normal type pouted. "I already know why I'd wanna fight! It'd be to protect people. Geez, I thought you'd have some tips on how to be strong like you, but instead all I got was a lecture," she stuck out her tongue. Then, Gwen's last words sank in. "My family? I...yeah, maybe," her ears lowered further.

The Eevee perked up a second later. "But yeah, I gotta be going! See ya, everybody, and thanks for saving Northshore!" She started to run out before stopping, rubbing her neck as she turned back to look at the group. "And...I'll think about what you said, I guess. About finding other strengths," and then she was gone, breezing past the guards, her eyes bright with renewed hope and determination.

Nine merely gave a small wave to the girl as she made her way out of the tent, thanking the group for their efforts with saving Northshore. With a small sigh and shrugging his shoulders, the man said, "well, at least her heart is in the right place." As Fiona let out her complaint, Nine couldn't help but chuckle a bit before saying, "right. We should probably rest up a bit, and then we'll get back on our chase. Sound good?" He looked to Gwen and Lok as he asked this, then turning towards Kyogre. "And uh, I'm not really sure what do about you but, well. Are you fine to be left alone now?" With a small smile he joked, "unless of course you wanted to travel along with us."

Location: Mowloo (Team Alola, Day 15)

Poké: 500

Inventory: Good Rod, Potion, Antidote x2, Kasib Berry

That... wasn't the best idea. Nani had rushed in recklessly, and was paying the price for it. Everything hurt. She'd fallen to the ground and everything hurt even more. The Mimikyu stayed down there for a bit, looking at the fight between Yveltal, Marie, and Keanu. She couldn't quite hear their discussion over the ringing in her ears. That was very stupid of her. As much as she wanted to take a short break, drink the Potion she knew she had on her person, and take some deep breaths, Nani felt like there wasn't time for all of that. And so, the fairy took a couple of deep breaths before slowly getting back up to her feet. In another world, that probably would have killed her on the spot. Perhaps getting close to Yveltal was a bad idea.

Which brought her attention back around to Keanu. His ball attack sure did seem to do a number on Yveltal. More importantly, he didn't have to get close to land it. That was a good move. If she were to borrow it for a bit, surely that would be okay, right? She paid close attention to Keanu as he did the attack a second time, taking detailed mental notes of how he did it. If she did the same thing the same way, just like that, and the other thing, she could definitely pull that off! And so, Nani began an attack of her own, roughly mimicking Keanu's to create an electric orb of her own at about her chest's level. The Mimikyu stepped back, then suddenly kicked the orb, shooting it toward Yveltal.

This is a pretty neat trick Keanu's got.

Between "Keanu" using his head as a springboard and Yveltal attacking with another Oblivion Wing, Randy didn't have too much time to dodge, so he was knocked back a bit from that initial attack.

Tch...guess she's just done talkin' in general...fine by me. Randy thought, smirking. I'm more of a man of action anyway!

"From where do you derive this strength? And what is it for?"

"Let go of him you big bully!"

The Incineroar looked quickly and saw that Yveltal had Keanu in her grasp. He began to grit his teeth slightly, about to rush the Legendary, but was stopped the moment Keanu actually made a move.

"My strength...you could say it's my cowardice! I'm not strong, but I'm a survivor. Because I know when to run away, and when not to fight. Something none of you Adarid brahs seem to get."

Heh...well whatever you wanna call it Keanu...you happen to be pretty strong. Randy thought, watching the Electro Ball that Keanu launched go...but it wasn't just that. He then noticed "Keanu" launching via kick an Electro Ball. Wait...two? ...okay now I know something's up...later though. Get answers later. he shook his head.

Right now...he waited. Randy's eyes were watching Keanu's Electro Ball and the moment it struck her, then he'd make his move. The Electro Ball Keanu launched hit it's mark true, as it struck Yveltal and she began to tense up from the strike, but she still held onto the Pikachu.

There! Randy thought, seeing Keanu's Electro Ball take the hit. He rushed towards Yveltal, his left arm glowing as he prepared a Brick Break. Finally, he got up to the point he wanted and he let Yveltal have it...a Brick Break right into the face, which would most likely disorient her enough to release Keanu.

Least...that's what he was HOPING was going to go. Unfortunately for the Incineroar, Yveltal whipped her head around towards him and tossed Keanu right at him with a grunt.

Randy caught Keanu quickly and then spun to put him down on the ground. "Maikaʻi hele, Keanu!" he chuckled, before making his way towards Yveltal. With a roar, he used Fire Fang, projecting in front of him a fiery jaw to crunch at Yveltal with.

Yveltal raised an arm to stop the attack and, as it connected, so did Marie's Disarming Voice and Nani's Electro Ball. She let out a screeching, ominous, noise and  up several feet into the air. Her eyes scanned the field before settling back onto Randy and launched an Oblivion Wing his way.

Randy jumped out of the way of the Oblivion Wing, before placing his hands near his belt, as he charged up a Fire Blast. "You aren't the only one with ranged attacks! FIRE BLAST!!!" he roared, launching the fiery kanji upwards towards Yveltal.

Yveltal sneered as the blast heading towards her. She waited until it got close and then, with a flap of her wings, one arm in front of her, she barreled through the blast. Taking the damage without a care as she rushed towards Randy and slammed her palm into his chest.

In an instant, Randy felt the wind knocked out of him. He coughed up greatly as he looked right at the Yveltal, seeing her palm being slammed onto his chest. He moved slightly, still trying to catch his breath again, trying to also fire off another Fire Blast...this time at close range. However, he wasn't the only one to think this way...because Yveltal was doing the same...firing a similarly close ranged Focus Blast.

"Huh, really?" Ari perked up. "Who, who?"

"That's the spirit!" Mac interrupted with a cheer, patting Ari on the back. "If there are bad guys we'll just take them down is all! Can't be an awesome Chaser if we can't handle some bullies." Mac looked over at Kazo. "I'm sure once they see you've joined with such an awesome group they'll be sorry that they weren't around more."

"Yeah, yeah!" Ari chimed in. "Nobody could look at you and not think you're cool. Unless they're blind..." he muttered.

Grace seemed to finally wake up though, thankfully seeming to be okay. "No need. I can handle that much. He won't cause any more trouble in these parts." She promised grimly. "It's the least I can do after failing to stop them."

"H-hey now, don't be so hard on yourself," Kazo said. "I doubt just one person could take on all of that,"

"Wh-what?!" Ari gaped, mouth hanging open. "That's horrible! How could he do that? He's a king-er, emperor, and also a father."

"Eh, that's a title...," Kazo muttered. "Kings, Emperors, Gods, whatever. They can all be bad people or good people," He said with a shrug. At least that was his own take on things due to his own experiences. "Anyways, should we get going, or are we resting for a night?"

"Tag!" She shouted and broke out into more giggles. Easter sputtered as water was sprayed into their face, making Denku snicker a bit.

"Hey!" he shouted, a little annoyed and a little amused. "You little brat!" Denku noticed that Easter was about to come over, but thought twice due to the whirlpool on deck.

"If you want me to, I could throw her at you so you can get your revenge," Denku called out jokingly.

Groudon's Mountain Team Showdown

Scarlet continued to bob and weave between plates of ground until, after two rather close calls that scrapped and scratched the metal of her shoulder, the pillar finally died down. As she was about to put Tianzi back onto the floor, however, she saw Groudon's arm rise up. Having a feeling of what was about to go down, she tighten her grip around the Xatu. "We're... goin' in!" Scarlet shouted, between heavy breaths, before dashing towards Groudon as the pillar of lava fell on them. While she managed to mostly dodge it, she winced in pain as the tip of her foot was hit by the lava.

As Scarlet put down Tianzi, she felt her exhaustion about to hit her peak. However, she saw a Blizzard hit Groudon, giving the duo a window to strike. Probably her only window to strike, giving how she was feeling. Taking a deep breath and with what little adrenaline she had left in her body, she darted into Groudon, her first outstretched for another Bullet Punch.

Northshore Team Karaoke

As Morgan left, Lok wasn't entirely sure if she got exactly what they were trying to teach her. However, he felt like she'd figure it out. Lok let out a tired sigh, chuckling at Fiona's remark. "Sleep does sound pretty sweat right now..." He let out a yawn, stretching out his arms, before turning to Kyogre. He still wasn't sold on her being all good now, especially after what had just happened. Nine seemed to be assure, though. "Well... Goodnight... never thought I'd be saying that to a legend face to face..."

As Tianzi was losing power, Scarlet held to her and carried her around as Groudon let out plumes of lava as a follow-up to his plates of earth attack. It was weaker than earlier, but with both Tianzi and Scarlet weak and exhausted, it pose more threat than any of his previous attacks.

"We're... goin' in!"

Scarlet dashed towards Groudon, pushing her already tired body to its limits as she avoided the lava with a dancer-like agility. Even so, both her and Tianzi didn't manage to fully avoid the attack, and Tianzi winced as she felt the heat and the actual molten rock burn her skin.

But, just as Scarlet put her down, an opening created itself. As if a miracle, a blizzard hit Groudon. It was a precious opening, and both Scarlet and Tianzi understood this window of opportunity. As Scarlet went for one last punch at the legend, Tianzi charged one more Solar Beam and aimed it at Groudon's chest. As the golden beam was fired, Tianzi's gaze started to feel hazy.

Team Alola, Day 15, Mowloo

Yveltal's Focus Blast shot out towards Randy though the middle of his Fire Blast attack. The beam of energy was slow, but wide, and it seemed that the moment she released it she was already on the move. Once more she opened up a rift and vanished through it. Reappearing behind Nani this time. She didn't waste time grabbing onto her like she had Keanu and instead slammed her elbow down on the back of the Mimikyu's head before slamming her fist, covered in Dark energy into the girl's lower back.

She flapped her wings once more and took up several feet into the sky. "You have no chance beating me like this. Your Auras are too small individually. If you truly want victory then come at me together with everything you have!...Or should I finish this now and continue my judgement on those beings of chaos who bring strife to this place?"

She sneered at them and her body began to glow with a blinding light. The first to make a move would face her Sky Attack technique.

Team Mac, Day 31, Weynon

As the group had nothing left to take care of in the city they decided it was time to rest. The next day came without much incident, though evidently Edgelord had escaped sometime in the night. Much to Grace's ire and shame. Celebi, too, had vanished in the middle of the night though she had left a note that indicated that Edgelord was already gone by the time she left.

The rest of the trip throughout the forest was rather...pleasant all things considered. The woods near Weynon were thick and there wasn't much room to maneuver but it also seemed to be free of wandering bandits and dangerous creatures. At least none that wanted to bother with a Gijinka.

It wasn't until five days out that things got a bit...unusual. The trees started to get smaller in number, and size, until there were only an occasional tree off the path. However instead of trees....

There was a forest of mushrooms before them. The ground was wet where they walked and seemed to be covered in a fog that blocked the view of the ground and went up to their ankles. As they took their first steps into this forest it didn't feel ominous, however, simply...relaxing. There was a drowsiness in the air and each of the trio would feel a fuzzy sensation spread though their bodies.

Team Neo Not Dark, Day 30, S.S. Showdown

"If you want me to, I could throw her at you so you can get your revenge,"

Dora gasped dramatically as Denku suggested this. Then she gave a big smile. "Do it do it do it! I can tag her especially good if I'm flying through the air!" The girl began to wiggle in his grasp and motioning her arms as though she were swimming mid-air.

Clyde, meanwhile, as well as the others, were just finishing up getting rid of the flames. Edna had stormed off towards the front of the ship and Apanie, who had been waiting on the edge of the stairs, seemingly to make sure the fire died down, began to head below deck.

The Swampert grunted at Easter. "So whose kid is that anyway?" He gestured at Dora. "Seems a bit odd to be traveling with someone so....innocent." He then smacked his forehead. "Oh but wait that's not what we're here for. Didn't ya want to have a tussle? The gang's mostly all here so if you want now's a good time."

Team Karaoke, Day 28, Northshore

Kyogre's downright disturbed look at Nine's suggestion would tell him enough about her thoughts on traveling with them. And with that the group decided to sleep for the night.

The next day they would find most of the citizens out and about. Many cooking some food and some gathering to start going about clearing the city out and cleaning up the wreckage.

There was a bit of a panic as Kyogre woke, got out, and a light rain began to fall on everyone. Some of the people seemed to be frightened, some angered, and others downtrodden, though Kyogre tried, through rather ineffective pantomime, to tell them that everything was okay.

Gwen, as she woke up, stretched and gave a mighty yawn before covering her mouth and laughing awkwardly. "So what shall we do now? We still don't have any ideas where our goal could be found do we? How should we go about figuring that out?"

Team Showdown, Day 29, Groudon's Mountain

The duo could see the primal fury in Groudon's eyes as they approached him. However they had, while battered, managed to reach him and kept their cool enough to each land an attack on the mountain of a man.

The punch didn't seem to cause much of an effect on its own but, when Tianzi's Solar Beam followed up, the Legend staggered backwards several steps.

They could see in his eyes a flickering. A literal flicker of the glow that was in it earlier and, a moment later, it was snuffed out.

Groudon let out a groan as he fell to one knee and the symbols across his body faded away. Taking a deep breath the man forced himself back up to his feet. "It seems...the people of Adarid have yet to lose their will. I suppose this is your victory, Chasers."

Isole slowly approached, dragging Taiga's body, who had been thrown a distance during the fight, towards Tianzi and Scarlet. With a grunt she unceremoniously dropped the Water type onto the ground and, kneeling down, stuffed what was apparently a Revival Herb, into her mouth. The extremely bitter herb would slowly awaken the girl, though she would yet be too weak to do much for a time.

Isole glanced up at Tianzi and Scarlet and let out an unenthusiastic "Go team."

UNOHESy.png

Location: Mowloo (Team Alola, Day 15)

Poké: 500

Inventory: Good Rod, Potion, Antidote x2, Kasib Berry

This teleporting business was getting irritating. Yveltal teleported once again, this time behind Nani, before elbowing and subsequently punching her. The elbow was one thing, but that punch... it was the exact kind of spectral power Nani hated fighting the most. Everything hurt even more. As if her soul wanted to just leap out of her body right then and there. It was that kind of pain. To relieve it at least a little, Nani frantically reached into her bag, grabbing a purple drink, before chugging the potion down. She didn't feel entirely better, but it would have to do.

"You have no chance beating me like this. Your Auras are too small individually. If you truly want victory then come at me together with everything you have!...Or should I finish this now and continue my judgement on those beings of chaos who bring strife to this place?"

"Hit her with everything!" Nani echoed, getting up to her feet to face the red bird queen of death who really didn't know when to lay off. Nani's legs once again glowed a distinct pink color, just as Yveltal began swooping down toward Nani. Whatever was coming, it was gonna hurt. Hopefully this idea worked out. She'd likely only have one shot.

And then, Yveltal struck, diving headfirst into the Mimikyu. "Now!" she exclaimed over a grunt of pain. However, now was her time to strike back. Nani grabbed at Yveltal, anywhere her hands could grip, and jumped up, using her hands as a pivot to go around and slam her glowing knees into Yveltal's back. Now there was just the matter of how long she could stay on Yveltal's back, as she moved her hands around to grab around the Queen's neck.
