[Written] Upon Frozen Wings - The Frostgale Archetype

Inspired by the chilling cards of the sole female Barian Emperor and sister to enemy-ally-enemy again-ally again Shark, this band of WATER Winged Beasts and Wyrms are all about giving your opponent's monsters the chills whenever their ATK is altered. Increase or decrease, if a monster's ATK isn't the same as about - the Frostgale will take advantage and even punish that monster for thinking itself able to handle the cold! As such, all thoughts/opinions and such are welcomed.

 

Frostgale Wyvern

Text: When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 face-up monster on the field, whose current ATK is different than its original ATK; destroy that target, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the difference in ATK. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Frostgale" monster from your Deck to your hand.

Frostgale Falcon

If your opponent controls a face-up monster whose current ATK is higher than its original ATK: This card can attack your opponent directly. You can only use this effect of "Frostgale Falcon" once per turn.

Frostgale Swan

Frostgale Siren

You can only use this effect of "Frostgale Siren" once per turn.

Frostgale Thunderbird

Text: When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 face-up monster on the field; that monster loses 100 ATK for each Spell/Trap Card on the field. During your Main Phase 1: You can target this face-up card and 1 "Frostgale" monster in your Graveyard, except "Frostgale Thunderbird"; Special Summon 1 Rank 4 WATER Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck, then attach those targets to it as Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon). You can only use this effect of "Frostgale Thunderbird" once per turn.

Frostgale Flight

Type: Quick-Play Spell
Text: Target 1 face-up monster on the field whose current ATK is different than its original ATK and 2 "Frostgale" monsters in your Graveyard whose Levels are equal to or less than that monster’s Level; destroy the first target, and if you do, shuffle those other targets into your Deck. You can activate 1 "Frostgale Flight" per turn.

Frostgale Mirage
Attribute: TRAP
Type: Counter Trap
Text: When a Spell/Trap Card is activated while you control a "Frostgale" monster: Negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.

Frostgale Aurora
Attribute: TRAP
Type: Continuous Trap
Text: Activate by targeting 1 face-up Rank 4 WATER monster you control that has a “Frostgale” monster as an Xyz Material. The equipped monster cannot destroyed by battle or by your opponent's card effects. Once per turn, when that monster detaches an Xyz Material by a card effect: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; until the end of this turn, halve that target’s ATK. If that monster leaves the field, destroy this card.
