If this does not solve within next 10 comments, i will be forced to hand out printed pamphlets for this thing.

Do what I suggested and you can only use the 2 or 3 effect once per turn and only one that turn. So if you wanna neg it wont float and if you wanna float it wont neg. That way it can be played around (not needed, but compromise is a virtue)

...if it searches the 1 Infestation upon being sent to the Graveyard, you can call that fine.

Winter, it's OKAY for cards to have weaknesses. If they don't, you get the likes of Towers; giant unmovable asses. lswarm do run Lances and Dresses to my knowledge, and if you're going for a play without protection then of course things could go tits up. It's always possible for plays to be ruined, which is why lswarm need a better main deck. You don't fight fire with fire, since you only get more fire. You don't fight Rafflesia or CDI by making something even worse.

Not even talking about Raff or Infinity though. Problems with Verz

1) No good monster negation

2) You break their lock, they lose

allowing the float would allow a player to solve those issues. Now use BTH and guess what, you don't get s***. Use the Solemns? Nope nothing. With Rafflesia coming out, it needs both effects to be half decent

Evilswarm Devastator

DARK/Dragon/Xyz/Effect

Rank 4

2600 ATK / 1800 DEF

2 Level 4 "Iswarm" monsters

When this card is Xyz summoned: Banish 1 face-up card your opponent controls. This card cannot attack the turn you activate this effect. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when your Opponent activates a monster effect: You can detach an Xyz material from this card and pay 1000 Life Points; Negate that effect, and if you do destroy it, then target 1 card in your Opponent's Graveyard; Banish it. If this face-up card leaves the field with Xyz material: You can special summon one "lswarm" monster from your  extra deck and attach this card to it as an Xyz Material.

One thing about the effect to negate monster effects is that there are no effects in the game that have a double semi-colon in their wording. Anything before a semi-colon is considered the cost and occurs at activation, your effect, being semi colon into a semi colon, is essentially cost -> cost -> effect.

There are two ways I can see it reworded.

1. "Once per turn, during either player's turn, when your Opponent activates a monster effect: You can detach 1 Xyz material from this card and pay 1000 Life Points, then target 1 card in your Opponent's Graveyard; Negate that effect, and if you do destroy it, then Banish the targeted card." This keeps the targeting while leaving the rest of the effect unchanged.

The other option is:

2. "Once per turn, during either player's turn, when your Opponent activates a monster effect: You can detach an Xyz material from this card and pay 1000 Life Points; Negate that effect, and if you do destroy it, then Banish one Card in your Opponent's Graveyard." If you're negating an effect and then banishing a card in the grave, targeting would be redundant and it'll not even work, since targeting only occurs as a cost and not part of any effects in the game.

Hope this helps.
