Shikage, The Damned Angel

DARK/Warrior/Synchro/Effect

Level 8

2500 ATK / 2000 DEF

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
This Face-up Card on the field is also treated as a LIGHT Type. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when your opponent activates a Spell/Trap Card : You can Banish 1 LIGHT OR DARK monster from your Graveyard; Negate that effect, and if you do, destroy it, then draw 1 card. As long as you control an equal number of Banished LIGHT and DARK monster(s); this Face-up Card is unaffected by other monster's effects.

First effect(s): Fair; though, the generic materials does make this more splashable. But considering some of the more recent Decks and archetypes, I'll let that slide. However, its last effect is ridiculous; it is not only unaffected, but gains an ATK bonus too? And you may justify with having equal number of banished LIGHT and DARK, but you could do that with Envoy of the Beginning. Again, great card, but leaning somewhat into overpowered territory.

Well, it is still a tedious task to do, any monster spam can get rid of it easily or any counter backrow i might cancel out the attack if it really making it that broken.

The problem is that on top of having effect negation, your giving to a generic lvl 8 synchro potential inmunity and if hat wasnt enought ATK boost, a monster unaffected by cards should at least be able to be runed over by battle without any trouble, unlike towers.

 

I dont mind that much the inmunity, but if it negates spell and traps then, you can make it only inmune to monsters to balance it

its own effect negation can take off the protection though, but that negation needs a hard OPT, imagine this in a chaos Deck, and 2 copies on the field. You will be able to negate not only 2 spell/Traps, but to fit the banished pile (at will) for the inmunity after you negate them. Dumping LIGHT and DARK monsters to the grave is very easy.

 

Also, the card image says Trap as the atributte
