the Great Ones is a series of Reptile-Type monsters based on the enemies (mostly bosses) in the famous video game, "Bloodborne". I previously wanna make them a Zombie-Type, but I realize that Zombies was already powerful so I decided to make them Reptiles, cause Reptiles was just a little weak so they needs more supports. Any suggestions?

Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 Reptile-Type monster you control; Special Summon 1 Reptile-Type monster from your Deck.

[spoiler=Celestial Emissary]QPPrUff.jpg

You can banish this card from the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 Reptile-Type monster from your hand, and if you do, it is unaffected by your opponent's Spell/Trap effects this turn. You can only use this effect of "Celestial Emissary" once per turn.

This card gains 100 ATK for each Reptile-Type monsters you control. Other face-up Reptile-Type monsters on the field cannot be destroyed by card effects.

[spoiler=Rom, the Vacuous Spider]V07JD8M.jpg

Your opponent cannot target face-up Reptile-Type monsters you control for attacks, except this one. If this card in your possession is sent to your Graveyard by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect): You can Special Summon 1 Reptile-Type monster from your Deck, except "Rom, the Vacuous Spider".

If exactly 1 other Reptile-Type monster you control (and no other cards) is destroyed by battle or by card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 card your opponent controls; destroy that target. This card must be face-up on the field to activate and to resolve this effect.

During either player's turn, when a card or effect that targets a card(s) on the field is activated: You can Tribute 1 face-up Reptile-Type monster you control; negate the activations, and if you do, destroy it.

2 Level 8 Reptile-Type monsters

When this card is Xyz Summoned: You can send 1 Reptile-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. If this card attacked or is attacked, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects until the end of the Damage Step. You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Reptile-Type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it. You can only use this effect of "Moon Presence" once per turn.

[spoiler=Spells and Traps]
[spoiler=Third Umbilical Cord]8F54LEf.jpg

Once per turn: You can target 1 Reptile-Type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target. You cannot Normal Summon/Set during the turn you Special Summon with this effect (even if this card leaves the field). If a monster Special Summoned by this effect leaves the field, destroy this card.

[spoiler=Moonside Lake]AJinaDx.jpg

Level 8 or higher Reptile-Type monsters you control cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control Level 8 or higher Reptile-Type monster: You can send 1 Reptile-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard, also you cannot Special Summon monsters fro the rest of this turn, except Reptile-Type monsters. If this card on the field is destroyed by card effect: You can target 1 Level 8 or higher Reptile-Type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it.

So Brain of Mensis is Lonefire Blossom but for Reptiles, then Celestial Emissary is kinda like Rose Lover but again for Reptiles. Then the 4 Level 8 monsters are basically the flower princesses of Yu-Gi-Oh! Onto the Spells now! Third Umbilical Cord is Miracle Fertilizer. Moonside Lake is a Mound of the Bound Creator but only for Level 8 or higher Reptiles. Then it can Foolish Burial for Reptiles only if you control a Level 8 or higher Reptile monsters. And that last effect is if it is destroyed, allowing you to Special Summon a Level 8 or higher Reptile monster from your Graveyard, though I'm not sure how strong that would be since I don't really know any Reptiles that are Level 8 or higher outside this set. The last card is the Xyz monster is basically a Meliae of the Trees from its Xyz Summon and its detaching effect. Of course this one is higher ranked than Meliae of the Trees and if it attacks or is attacked, your opponent can't activate anything which is nice since it is harder to make, but it has too much ATK for its material. Looking at Number 88, it requires 3 materials, and it has 3200 ATK, with its only effect is its instant win conditions. Lower the attack a bit and it will be fine. Also you might want to add a cost or drawback to the Foolish Burial effect of Moonside Lake, that way it's just not a free send. About all I got say except this set is good. Keep it up!
