Tinkerer Posted October 19, 2017 Report Share Posted October 19, 2017 [spoiler=Winner]I guess when you're bombarded with info, they expect you not to remember everything or be able to give a good concrete estimation, but I literally had to go back after hearing WW's strength feat and find Thor's strength feat and then I realized it was no contest....That and the fact that Thor only had a blunt bashing weapon. [spoiler=Next Time]I assume they'll have to go with end of manga Bleach, because despite how cool he was in the end of the anime, I really don't think that could stand anywhere near Naruto just from random spitballed feats I've heard about him. ...Well at least we know an anime character's gonna win next time. Denver Posted November 9, 2017 Report Share Posted November 9, 2017 [spoiler=Naruto vs Ichigo]This was a good fight, I find it kinda funny too they went like 5-6 minutes into detail after the fight anticipating fanboy backlash.Naruto's power boosts in the last third of Shippuden pretty much helped him cover himself. It's cool they even accounted for Ichigo being invisible at first. Next fight's kinda funny, basically the future incarnation of each fighter. This is their third Spider-Man vs Batman franchise fight (including Venom vs Bane) so I'm wondering if the incentive behind this one is to tally a win for the Batman series.I think on paper though, Spidey's still got him beat. 2099 is like regular Spider-Man, but with stingers and toxic claws/feet. Funnily enough, he just recently got jets in his boots in the comics like Batman Beyond has.[spoiler=Response]Which I think was a good move on their part, more or less to cover the bases. [spoiler=Yeah]Anime fanbase in particular can get pretty finicky about power levels and comparing/contrasting strength, so it made sense to me too.I was wondering how they'd handle Ichigo's powers from the final arc too since they were pretty vague in-story. Have seen better and worse fights animated on the show. Does anyone have Death Battle wishes/predictions?They finally did Naruto vs Ichigo, which I've been gunning for for years. The other big one I want to see is Gandalf vs Dumbledore. Most people I've asked think Gandalf would win, but I still think it's worth a DB episode. Batman's also officially opened the door for multiple matches for contenders now, not just rematches since this is his 3rd. I don't know that much about Black Panther, so I don't have a call here. Interesting that it was closer than you'd think, I'm used to DBs nowadays being so one-sided, though I did expect the victor to win here.
