Would you rather only have to sleep 4 hours a day, or be able to fall asleep on command but whenever you do it's for 8 hours unless forcibly woken up? It's definitely better than sadness, and my various insecurities, while not especially crippling, would be nice to get rid of. Might make it a bit tough to empathize with people, though.
