Nice Deck, although 4 Tierno, and 3 professor letter with steven lying around and mewtwo doing cheap work for few energy ? why not run quality backup in the form of vs seeker or sycamore/prof birch ?

Tried sycamore, didnt like it. Reason for energy Overkill is because not having energies is too devastating. You generally want to get a point where M Mewtwo is OHKOing every other EX aswell, so alot of energy is needed.

i did some funny sheet some time back with dark corridor gengar ex and toxicroak ex but yeah some cards lose value very very quick. Just look at primal kyogre and groudon now.

yeah, you gotta know what to invest in. Look at Yveltal, Lugia, manetric and Mewtwo, they all retain value really well.

Mega Gyarados is a sweeper and a half but Manetric weakness kills it so hard it's pitiful. Also kind of hard to set up so :/

Manaphy makes Seismitoad.dek infinitely better which is crazy worrying.

Greninja can now discard 2 W energies to deal 90 before an attack. Eh, it's okay but not gonna warrant it's place in most decks.

Espeon is interestingly bad.

Trevenant is kinda hard to examine atm.

Darkrai will make one hell of a bomb in expanded where Toxic laser is still a thing. It's only kind of ok right now, Dark isnt a particularly strong type for energy manipulation. Imo anyway.

Surprise Gale thrust is ok. Not a great card though.

Megas should have much more devastating attacks than that, but it's still ok somehow.

Raticate is lacklustre, it will take 3 turns to set up and is easily shut down, moves like Super Fang are great on stage 1 or basic, but when it's stage 3 it's taking up alot of slots you need for other things.

Ho oh is really strange.

Manaphy looks like the best card out of all of it to me. I could be wrong ofc, these are just initial opinions that dont mean alot.

Garchomp – Fighting – HP130
Stage 2 – Evolves from Gabite

[F] Assault Turbo: 60 damage. Choose 1 Energy card in your discard pile and attach it to one of your Pokemon.

[F][F] Biting Pledge: 80+ damage. If your opponent’s Active Pokemon is a Pokemon-EX, this attack does 80 more damage.

Weakness: Grass (x2)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 0
