Time Escaper

Level 2 EARTH Psychic/Effect

During your Standby Phase, if this card is in your GY, you can banish 1 Psychic Monster from your hand; add this card to your hand. (Quick Effect): You can discard this card then activate 1 of these effects;

  • Banish 1 Psychic Monster you control or in your GY except "Time Escaper", and if you do, you take no damage until the end of this turn. 
  • Special Summon 1 banished Psychic Monster.

You can only use this effect of "Time Escaper" once per turn. 

ATK/500 DEF/100

 

Changelog:

  • Allows recursion
  • Gives two effects for its discard cost, using Psychic Monsters in your GY as ammo for the first effect
  • Nulls damage for first effect
  • Special Summons banished Psychics

You can only control 1 “Oboro-Guruma, the Wheeled Mayakashi”. You can only use each of these effects of “Oboro-Guruma, the Wheeled Mayakashi” once per turn.
● If a Synchro Monster in your possession whose original Level is 5 is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect while this card is in your GY: You can banish 1 other Zombie monster from your GY, and if you do, Special Summon this card.
● If this card is Special Summoned from the GY: You can activate this effect; return all banished Zombie monsters to the GYs.

 

Notes: Now you have a reason to want to Special Summon him, in order to extend your combo plays.

Lore: 2+ Zombie monsters

Synchro Monsters you control cannot be destroyed by card effects, Zombie monsters you control with 2500 or less ATK cannot be targeted by card effects, also FIRE monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, if this card in the Extra Monster Zone points to no monsters: You can banish 1 Zombie monster from your GY; Special Summon 1 "Shiranui" monster from your Deck to your zone this card points to, except a Tuner. During your opponent's turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 of your banished Zombie Synchro Monsters: Special Summon it to your zone this card points to. You can only use this effect of "Shiranui Splendidsaga" once per turn.

 

BD'Switchlog:

 

  • Gave one more overlap of protection to the Zombie lineup, this time for your weenie-hut monsters. 
  • Floats into a non-Tuner Shiranui from the Deck should you have no monsters to point to, can't go wrong with linear board filling, right? 
  • And the final banishing effect actually enables more Shiranuishenanigans, how about that.

Woah, this is not a remake, but a complete overhaul. I was expecting it to become a Tuner, target any monster instead of just Psychics, and/or become able to use its effect on the field as well, but damn, this is such a big twist xD

Quick-Play Spell

Apply these effects in sequence, depending on the number of different original Attributes the Link Monsters on the field have.
● 1: All Link Monsters you control gain 300 ATK.
● 2: All Link Monsters your opponent controls lose 500 ATK.
● 3: Gain 1500 LP.
● 4: Inflict 2000 damage to your opponent.
● 5: Special Summon 1 monster with 2500 or more ATK from your Deck.
● 6: Destroy all monsters your opponent controls with 3000 or less ATK.
You can only activate 1 “Link Party” per turn.

Lore: For the Tribute Summon of this card, you can Tribute 1 other Level 8 monster in your hand as the entire Tribute. Cannot be destroyed by battle with a monster whose Level is lower than or equal to this card's, also all cards you control are unaffected by the effects of monsters whose Level is higher than this card's. When your opponent Normal or Special Summons exactly 1 monster (except during the Damage Step) while this monster is on the field: You can make that monster lose ATK equal to its Level x 200 (until the end of this turn), and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to that lost ATK. Spell/Trap Cards and effects cannot be activated in response to this effect.

 

BD'Switchlog:

  • Had to work on the margins with this card considering its placement in Vrains, so....
  • Alternate way of Tribute Summoning if you control no monsters. Just use ANOTHER LEVEL EIGHTER.
  • Gives your field effect immunity to Level 9 or higher monsters-and makes that Predaplant matchup a blessing in disguise.
  • And finally, your Cracking Dragon's last effect is now Spell/Trap immune SO GOOD LUCK SOLEMN WARNING YOUR WAY PAST THIS.

I'm not sure where the bug is but sometimes the post button will work but won't load the post, so it happens. That has been fixed.

Lore: When you activate a "Heraldry" Spell: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Summoned: All face-up monsters you currently control become Level 4. After this effect resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of the turn, except LIGHT and/or Psychic monsters.

 

BD'Switchlog:

  • Has its anime effect. 
  • And a new Special Summon tech that works with Heraldry Beasts.
  • But I know how busted Level manipulation tech is, so....gonna need a limit.

Paralyzing Chain

When this card is activated: You can add 1 "Iron Chain" monster or 1 "Poison Chain" from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, if you control no monsters: You can Special Summon 1 "Iron Chain" monster from your hand. If a card(s) would be sent from your opponent's Deck to the GY by an "Iron Chain" card effect, banish it face-down instead and inflict 200 damage to your opponent for each. You can only activate 1 "Paralyzing Chain" per turn.

 

  • The blue part is the meta treatment.
  • The bold part is to make the actual effect more "stunning".

Iron Chain Coil

Lore: You can reveal this card in your hand; send 1 "Iron Chain" monster from your Deck to the GY, except a Tuner, and if you do, Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do that, add 1 Level 4 or lower EARTH monster from your Deck to your hand with the same Type as that sent monster, but you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of the turn, except EARTH monsters. You can only use this effect of "Iron Chain Coil" once per turn. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 "Iron Chain" monster you control; it gains 300 ATK/DEF, also negate your opponent's cards or effects that target that monster for rest of the turn at resolution.

 

BD'Switchlog:

  • Worlds most carnage-inducing Summon effect, but at least it has an Attribute limit surely an EARTH Attribute Synchro Deck can't abuse that right?
  • Second effect's quick.
  • And it gives on-impact targeting negation.
  • And the ATK/DEF boost is permanent.

● Rank 5 or higher Xyz Monsters cannot attack and their effects are negated.
 
Changes:
  • Handtrap to basically annihilate Xyz Monsters
  • Made to counter Rhongomyniad and Gossip Shadow, but also to neuter Utopic Zexal.

Lore: 2 Effect Monsters, including a "Crusadia" monster

Gains ATK equal to the original ATK of any monster this card points to. A monster this card points to cannot attack. Once per turn, if an Effect Monster is Special Summoned a zone this card points to (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 monster in either player's Monster Zone, except this card; move it to another Main Monster Zone on its controller's field, then if that monster was moved from a zone this card points to, you can Special Summon 1 "Crusadia" monster from your Deck with less ATK than that monster so this card points to it.
 
BD'Switchlog:
  • The last part of the effect now replaces the empty zone with a Crusadia should it be moved away from Spatha's arrows. 
  • It targets monsters in ANY Monster Zone. 
  • And it now has 1000 Extra ATK, so it's both combo extender and semi-beatstick all in one currently.

Widespread Ruin

If you control no monsters, you can activate this card from your hand. When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Destroy 1 Attack Position monster your opponent controls and all monsters adjacent to it.

  • Flavor treatment: Can destroy up to 3 monsters.
  • Meta treatment: It becomes "Infinite Impermanence" if it's a direct attack.

  • Smiger can finally search a spell now.
  • Foolish Burial to easily use the non-Tuners GY effects,
  • Generic protection for Synchros

(This Card is always treated as a “Metalfoes” Card.)
All "Metalfoes" monsters you control gain 300 ATK and DEF. While a "Metalfoes" card is in your Pendulum Zone, "Metalfoes" monsters you control, except Effect Monsters, are unaffected by your opponent's card effect, also “Metalfoes” Spells/Traps Set directly from the Deck can be activated the turn they were Set. If this face-up card is destroyed, you can target up to five “Metalfoes” cards in your GY or among your banished cards; shuffle them into the Deck, and if you do add 1 “Metalfoes” Pendulum Monster from your Deck or face-up in your Extra Deck to your Hand.

Changes:
  • Can now be searched.
  • Allows for the Metalfoes Traps to be used Turn 1
  • Recycle Metalfoes cards upon destruction, then adds 1 Metalfoes Pendulum to Hand
