Given that Beau didn't really address the prompt, I'm gonna submit mine ok.

 

Name: Elemental HERO Terra Firma

EARTH/Level 8/ Warrior/Fusion/Effect

ATK 2500/ DEF 2000

Materials: Elemental HERO Ocean + Elemental HERO Woodsman 

Effect: 
"Once per turn, during your opponent's Battle Phase: You can target 1 Defense Position monster your opponent controls; change it to face-up Attack Position, also it must attack this turn, if able, and can only attack a face-up "Elemental HERO Terra Firma" you control. You can Tribute 1 face-up "Elemental HERO" (Quick Effect); this card gains ATK equal to the Tributed monster's ATK. until the End Phase. You can only use this effect of "Elemental HERO Terra Firma" once per turn."

I didn't change too much. Just more updated for a slightly more modern age. Was a bit sad having to nerf the ATK absorption by making it once per turn. But given I made it a Quick Effect, I say it's an ok compromise.

You can only use this Effect of Diabound Kernel once per turn

 

Next:

The oft forgot Fusion portion of the Golden Lord's Arsenal, Seven Cities of the Golden Land and Eldlich the Mad Golden Lord. These cards deserve some attention as well as real improvement to make them more worth using.

ok so the fusion remake is a bit of MTG inspired meme card, but the fusion spell is what you asked 

Eldlich the madder golden lord

Lvl 10

Light/Fusion/Effect
1 "eldlich the golden lord" + 1 level 6 or higher zombie monster

This cards name "eldlich the golden lord" on the field. This card can not be destroyed by battle or card effects. When you would activate a set trap card instead shuffle it into your deck and then reveal cards until you reveal a trap card; then activate it's effect ignoring any activation requirements.

ATK:  3900   DEF: 3600

OK and the actual card

Curse of the golden land 

continuous trap

special summon this card as a normal monster (level 6 / light / 800 ATK / 2000 DEF) if you control a face up "Eldlich the golden lord" then immediately after this effect resolves you may fusion summon an "eldilch" monster using this card and one other face up card you control. The fusion summoned monster gains 1000 ATK and DEF. During the end phase you can banish this card from your graveyard; set 1 "eldlixer" spell or trap directly from your deck. you can only activate this effect of "curse of the golden land" once per turn.

you can banish 2 zombie monster from any GY if you do special summon this card (from your hand). This cards name on the field becomes "Plaguespreader Zombie". If you control, another face up zombie (quick effect) Target one other zombie monster you control, it becomes a level 3 and counts as 2 materials for the synchro summon of a zombie monster; if you do synchro summon a zombie monster using this card. If this card and a card with a level different then it's original level were used to summon a synchro monster that mentions "Plaguespreader Zombie" send a card an opponent controls to the graveyard or send the top 3 cards of the opponents deck tp the graveyard.  If you control a card your opponent owns you can banish this card from your graveyard; when you do send 1 "Plaguespreader Zombie" from your deck to your GY. You can only activate this effect of "Agony Painter" once per turn.

it is quite powerful, but we also need some good ishizu tear counter cards

While I agree we need Ishizu Tear Counters, probably best not to include that on a remake of a card and instead put that on an original card

When this Monster is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can discard 1 Card from your Hand; Special Summon this Monster in Defense Position. Your Opponent cannot target Monsters you control for Attacks except Revival Jam.

 

Changelog:

  • Made it so it can be revived when destroyed by a Card Effect to reflect how it could revive even from Slifer's Effect.
  • Altered its cost to both be more in line with the deck it was used in and be more costly
  • Quickened when it comes back to make up for the higher cost of a discard rather than LP
  • Worked in the Attack blocking effect into the card rather than making it a separate card

Lore: Cannot be Special Summoned. You can reveal this card in your hand, then discard 1 Zombie monster; Special Summon 1 monster from your hand or Deck that mentions "Plaguespreader Zombie" or "Zombie World", then, you can increase its Level by 1. You can only use this effect of "Immortal Ruler" once per turn. You can Tribute this card, then target 1 "Zombie World" in your GY; add it to your hand.

Changelog:

  • Made its Attribute DARK to better fit with its previous life; as the Dark Ruler Ha Des.
  • Now it can discard to get you Zombie World/Plaguespreader Zombie mentioning monsters. Because who doesn't like that? Ash. Ash doesn't that's who. Which is why it's balanced.

Changelog:

  • Removed the Special Summoning Prevention
  • Made it a Pseudo Kaiju but without giving your Opponent a Monster.
  • Made its grave effect trigger on either turn
  • and finally made its Grave Effect summon itself

How about the big, slow mess of a summoning condition for so little pay off that is Spirit of the Pharaoh

Tried to keep this lumbering oaf in the spirit (ha!) of its original card.

 

Name: Spirit of the Pharaoh 

Level 6/LIGHT/Zombie/Effect

ATK: 2500/ DEF 2000

Effect: Cannot be Normal Summon/Set. Must first be Special Summon by the effect of "The First Sarcophagus" or by discarding 2 or more "Sarcophagus" Spell or Trap cards. When Special Summoned this way; Special Summon 1, Level 3 or lower, Zombie monster from either player's GY for each "Sarcophagus" Spell or Trap discarded to Special Summon it, or if this card was Special Summoned by the effect of "The First Sarcophagus"; instead Special Summon up to 4, Level 3 or lower, Zombie monsters from your hand, Deck, or either player's GY.

Next: Slot Machine, but you have to make it an effect monster.

(If the toss involved multiple coin flips, redo any of them of your choice.) If this Monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard; You can add 1 Spell/Trap Card from your Deck to your Hand that has a Coin Tossing Effect. You can only use each effect of Slot Machine once per turn.

 

Changelog:

  • Switched its ATK and DEF to give it slightly better ATK
  • Gave it a Summoning Effect related to some of Keith's cards
  • Built in Second Coin Toss, meaning you can stack the effects for 3 shots at it. (Third Coin Toss?)
  • Adding a Coin Toss card to hand if it's blown up or run over, even by your own effect.

If this card is banished: you can Special Summon this Monster but place it on the bottom of the deck when it leaves the field. You can only use one effect of Dotscaper per turn and only once per turn.

Changelog:

  • Gave it 100 ATK. No real reason just felt like it.
  • Made it's self-summon effects more conditional so they didn't need to be once per duel effects.
  • they're no longer once per duel effects
