Was reading through and saw someone recommend Verlisify for movesets and I think I blacked out for the rest of the thread.

By the way does anyone have a HA Vulpix? Doesn't matter what nature, moves, or stats it has. I need one to breed for a Timid one w. Egg moves.

Finally got a Fletchinder due to getting a lucky Wonder Trade and trading that on the GTS. Also got a Ditto, another Fomantis with Contrary, and a modest Alolan Vulpix with Snow Warning and some nice egg moves. Bred the Vulpix, and probably gonna use its kid at some point.

Do you still need the HA Vulpix?

Also Nai suggested I try for a shiny Mimikyu and being the dope I am I listened. So after 700 hatched...still no shiny. Also I officially hate Mimikyu and think they're hellspawn for the torment they've put me through. >:T

*Sighs* Zygarde Cell hunting is annoying the more you have. I'm 99/100, and I have NO idea which one I'm missing.

I bought this up a while back. I honestly think it is easier to just skip all of them and collect them all in one go post game. That or have a print out sheet with all the locations and mark it as you go.

I suppose that could be done *Shrugs*

Oh yeah, I also recently noticed something. Not all evolved Alolan Pokemon can learn Hyper Beam. In fact, out of the starters, only Incineroar can learn it. Out of all Alola mons, only: Incineroar, Vikavolt, Lurantis, Bewear, Comfey, Passimian, Silvally, Minior, Turtonator, Mimikyu, Drampa, Dhelmise, Kommo-o, the Tapus, Box Legends, the UBs, Necrozma, and Megearna can learn it.

Same with Giga Impact, as some Alola mons can't learn it.

For some reason I keep not expecting to see Plumeria in places. Just fought her in the Battle Tree.

EDIT: funk THIS GUY I'M FIGHTING. I got through his first two Pokemon no problem, but his last one is an Avalugg who spammed Curse until maxed out and uses Rest any time it gets low. I can't kill it fast enough and it hasn't even attempted to attack me, though I have a feeling it won't matter because Celesteela has Leech Seed and Leftovers going, I don't know what's going to happen.

EDIT: Switched over to Golisopod, I'm hoping I can lower its defence some with Liquidation. I figured out the Avalugg's 3rd move is Frost Breath, which did a grand total of 9 damage to me, immediately healed back from Leech Seed. The Rests continue.

EDIT: It is done! Got a crit Liquidation which tore through a good third of its health and it used Skull Bash upon waking up instead of Rest, so Leech Seed finished it off. That single Pokemon took, like, 25 minutes.

Ah, Hibiki Ganaha and Takane Shijou, nice choice for Christmas.

Also,Tomorrow, I get Totodile and move on to the next island. Before I Island scan, I'll complete the trials, challenge the Kahuna then Island Scan, then repeat the process.

Yes I still do, if you have one.

I know exactly the pain you faced. funk that Avalugg.

Yes, unless like before you breed with a ditto. So breed with a ditto till you get a female formantis and then breed that with a male pokemon with the egg move you want on your formantis.

Good thing i have a male leafstorm execute and i got what i wanted. Time to train it to lv 50 so it can battle in the battle tree.

EDIT: the professor challenged me again in champion title defense.

Guys, can we take a second to appreciate the Dex not being 100% dark

Lapras

OR/AS: "People have driven Lapras almost to the point of extinction. In the evenings, this Pokémon is said to sing plaintively as it seeks what few others of its kind still remain."

Moon: "These Pokémon were once near extinction due to poaching. Following protective regulations, there is now an overabundance of them."

I forget if I posted these already, but Slowpoke's are the best.

Sun: Its long tail often breaks off. It doesn’t really feel any pain, though, and the tail grows back, so Slowpoke isn’t particularly bothered.
Moon: Alolan home cooking involves drying Slowpoke tails and then simmering them into a salty stew.

EDIT: Can Emergency Exit not activate if I'm fighting an SOS chain? I was training Golisopod and in a battle against a Bewear, it summoned another one and by the time I dropped below 50% Emergency Exit didn't activate. I killed the first one with Leech Life, bringing me back up above 50%, and it didn't activate after I fell below 50% again despite only the summoned ally being around.

Also, whoever said Emergency Exit was once per battle was incorrect. At one point in the Battle Tree Golisopod switched out using it, later came back and healed above 50% with Leech Life, then switched out again after dropping below 50% again.

I love how it was a big deal that people were cutting them off in Gen 2. How times have changed.

I haven't heard anything about it not triggering in SOS battles, but I was also misinformed about it triggering again if you go above 50% then back below.
