Pokemon Sun & Moon

I went after Necrozma and the UBs while I was lower level than them, so I could use Repels to get rid of the much lower level mons since UBs and Necrozma are roamers.

And it's sad how retarded most GTS users are. Yes, I will trade your Rattata for my event legendary, wynaut? Granted I'm sure some are just trading across their games since Bank isn't available yet. Though I am certain that 90% of those that want event legends are just greedy retards.

Yeah, but then you only really have 2 reasonable people left, and reasonable requests get taken up on insanely fast. I had to try several times to trade a Kartana for a Celesteela because the mon was already traded away.

I found one of the best ways to use GTS is to just put the mon up yourself. I've gotten lucky with a handful of Pokemon from just searching, but I found the other way to just be easier.

@British: Yeah, you may want to keep the Exp. Share on. (Granted, I have turned it off on several occasions, but mostly because of EV training purposes [due to not having the stat reduction berries on hand]; that, and stuff was more/less high enough level due to taking time off to EV properly when I could).

Yeah, I turned it back on in Po Town when I saw the levels of the Aether Foundation 'mons.

@Flame: Yeah, I wanted a Celesteela, but half the requests were just outright sheet (i.e. want your version legendary). Just ended up putting Kartana on trade (I had four of them; certainly don't mind giving away one), and someone was nice enough to trade me one. (Relaxed nature, which works fine)

Asking for the 'mon yourself is easily the better method, but just be reasonable about what you're looking for. I admit I have gotten lucky finding some of the harder 'mons on GTS, but doing it yourself is less aggravating. (I admit that I did use the GTS to trade with self last generation, but that's due to lack of another DS system [and I even mentioned that]).

Just wish GTS would update quicker though when a 'mon's already been traded.

Gosh, Alolan Ninetales is so pretty. Definitely my favorite Alolan mon. I like how if it's sleeping it'll have its tails over its body like a blanket, and it's also one of the Pokemon that will high five you.

Currently going through the process of trying to nab a Light Clay from a Mudbray so I can give it to mine because of Aurora Veil. I also rememberd that Hail gives Blizzard 100 accuarcy, so I decided to say goodbye to Encore and slapped it on there. Snow Warning is such a good HA.

When farming items from Pokemon, lead with a compound eyes Pokemon. Makes life a fair bit easier.

I loved the games credits. Also found it really interesting we only see them once.

I forgot about Compound Eyes, though I got one quickly enough. Thankfully Mudbray has a pretty high encounter rate at Paniola Ranch.

EDIT: I've got over 178 hours in Sun so far. I don't think I've even come close to that amount of playtime in any main series Pokemon game before.

Got Necrozma in a Poke Ball earlier in the day (yeah, I only threw it to burn time for Timer Balls to get better, and had expected it to flop even after weakening/statusing). I can't really argue about it though, considering it did have a perfect SpAtk IV and the nature I needed it to have.

Now to finish up the rest of my dex (and guess I'll have to actually trade evo Trevenant now; one in Pelago decided to ditch). Still want to train some of the 'mons that I said I would pre-release (despite turning them off due to speed issues or availability); think that's Vikavolt for right now (and probably Arcanine, which is technically done [barring a Fighting move]).

Think mine is somewhere in the 100/110-hour mark; don't have DS on me at the moment to check specifics, but I know it's triple digits by now. (Granted, Gen 6 still has around 300-500 hours, but that's because I had a lot longer to do everything.)

Oh right, Byakuya, you still need that Cubone?

My friend already lent me one and I bred it into a 5IV Adamant one, so you don't have to go through the trouble. It's been kicking ass on Battle Spot...in a good way.

On the other hand, I still need Solgaleo data to complete my Dex.

I still can't get over how much of a boss Golisopod is. He's never not in my Battle Tree team, and for good reason. After the first Pokemon falls I either send him out as a pivot into the third guy just to be safe, or he just crushes anyone who's left on his own before the third guy even has to come out. And the amount of times I've been in a tough position with him as my last guy and he goes 2-0 or even 3-0 is just amazing. I don't think he'd work nearly as well without the Leech Life buff, so the fact that happened this gen is really nice. He's even more unkillable now that I have an Alolan Ninetales to set up an 8 turn Aurora Veil.
