Faux Flowers - Using your monsters on S/T Zone for Ritual Summons

Greetings.

I'm here to present to you my newly finished archetype (which was based on a competition challenge).

Faux Flowers.

An Archetype that revolves around Ritual Summoning, placing monsters in the Spell Zone and explosive moments of beauty.
All monsters, much like Crystal Beasts, can be placed into the Spell & Trap Zone when destroyed (including the Ritual Monsters).
Meanwhile the Ritual Spell allows you to use the monsters placed in your S/T as tributes!

The most beautiful moments are always the most fleeting

[spoiler=Clarifications]

Why are them Thunder-Type again?

Well, they are obviously not plants (faux=fake in french by the way), and I like comparing them to fireworks. Or to be precise, they sort of are like fireworks, since they are literally a "flash of light". They only have a flowerish appearance while in the Monster Zone, but are turned into a simple "sparkle" of light in the Spell Zone, awaiting to bloom again. This is also the reason why they are only able to create a "Fake Beauty" (an artificial beauty).

Wasn't there a better wording than "card in your Spell Zone which was originally a monster"?

Not as far as I know. I tried some variations but this one is the clearest (which I deem more important than aesthetics). Since its treated as a Spell not a monster, I do like to avoid confusions and rulings problems. If you think there's a better way to say it, while being as clear as possible, I'd appreciate to know that.

That's it.

Hope you enjoy it and please feel free to give your opinions.

Sweet tbh

Shine has abnormally high DEF for a level 1 effect monster, but aside from that, it seems basic, but essential. It acts as a Carbuncle which is cool, and it’s a big guy for rituals.

crystal’s protection is weird, but works, since you can just put it in your S/T like it’s no big deal. the recycle effect is also awesome, since you can recycle anything you ritual summoned with.

gleam also can set itself in the S/T, and then search. That’s pretty solid, particularly as a top deck.

sparkle does basically the same thing, except with monsters. I hope these guys can summon quickly.

not sure how ethereal would help, except for the Sapphire Pegasus. Maybe if you ritual summon with the continuous spells.

Fake beauty blooming works.

Disillusion seems to out Dark Destroyer, which is nice. it sure enjoys making things lose ATK, it seems. It also seems to permanently help you out while in the S/T, which might make it harder for you to die.

Remorse hates yugioh. It basically retreats to the S/T by killing a monster and floating, then becoming a shield to targeting. This would be really annoying to fight, but I haven’t seen it in action yet.

Melancholy also hates yugioh. Fortunately, being until the end phase might be reasonable. Nuking the field, on the other hand, hurts a lot, at least as a quick effect. I get that you want the deck to be great and all, but nuking the board and plusing is kind of broken, mainly because it just goes into the S/T again.

Promise is pretty good, since it brings back the stuff you used for your rituals.

Alluring Charm outs certain back row hit, acts as tenki, and enables OTKs. Due to the nature of these designs, it’s more of a matter of analyzing the cards rather than critiquing them.

Ephemeral’s field clearing seems quite potent, especially since once you use it you can reborn. On the bright side, it’s useless by itself, although Icarus Attack is good for a reason, and this doesn’t even require them to be monsters.

hope this helps

Thanks for the feedback.

And for clarification, if you place 1 of the Level 3 FF using Ethereal's effect, you can use their search effect as well (thus the card is quite useful). Meanwhile its 2nd effect is mainly for being fodder wither way.

Also you made me realize the Rituals may have been slight more obnoxious than I had in mind (I mean, there was no way you could defeat Remorse or Melancholy without going minus and there wasn't any sort of counter for that).

Thus they were slight nerfed from proactively making your opponent regret playing with you to making him try to play around the cards and at worst only hesitate to play with you again. That is, their quick-play effects are more circumstantial and can't be used to stop your opponent's plays before he is able to do anything (so he can play a bit of yugioh too).
