I'll weaken it down to level 4 and lower and exclude itself, but really we're talking about a monster pool that's less than half of what RotA can search, plus the opponent will have at least 1 main phase to deal with the monster regardless.  I really don't see it much being a problem.

Mostly, the issue is it being a Lonefire for Wiretugs that is easily reusable (they already have a thematic "get thing from Deck"), single-handedly enabling the Bones Mill (which was designed to be inconsistent so that your opponent's Deck can't be easily obliterated in one turn), and being able to drop Pot of Taboos out of nowhere (the only other card to do that locks the free monster out of its effects for the rest of the turn). There's also Voltage Tunic, but considering that this isn't MR4 that particular little thing isn't too bad on its own. Please also remember that Prediction Princesses and Subterrors exist in the AGM, and giving both archetypes a free monster from the Deck might do something unintended.

 

That fix helps fix the issues with Subterrors and Taboos, at least.

Spy Shades

Give control of the equipped monster to your opponent. Your opponent plays with their hand revealed. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard by your opponent's card effect OR because the equipped monster was used as Material for the Summon of an Extra Deck monster, you can declare 1 card name: your opponent sends all cards with that name from their hand to the Graveyard.

 

Trial of Champions

Continuous Spell

This card cannot be destroyed except by its own effect.  When this card is activated: target 1 monster on the field: place 1 Champion Counter on that target (only 1 Champion Counter can exist on the field at a time.  Monsters with Champion Counters are unaffected by Spells/Traps other than "Trial of Champions".  If a monster with a Champion Counter is removed from the field by battle or by a monster's card effect: place the Champion Counter on the monster that removed that monster).  Destroy this card during your 3rd End Phase after this card was activated.  When this card is destroyed, double the LP of the player that controls the monster with the Champion Counter, then remove all Champion Counters from the field.

 

Field Contours

Place 1 Counter on all face-up Spell/Traps on the field.  When a Spell/Trap with a Counter placed on it by this effect is removed from the field, the Spell/Trap Zone it was in cannot be used as long as this card remains in the Graveyard.  When there are no Counters on the field that were placed by this card's effect: banish all "Field Contours" from both player's Graveyards.

 

Final Kiss Goodbye

Target 1 monster your opponent controls; discard 1 monster from your hand whose Level is exactly equal to that target's Level/Rank, and if you do, take control of that target. You can only activate 1 "Final Kiss Goodbye" per turn.

Handicapping Samurai of Legend

EARTH - Level 4 - Warrior/Effect - 3000/0

This card can only declare an attack by targeting exactly 2 monsters your opponent controls as attack targets (the two monsters are treated as having a single ATK/DEF value that is the combined total of the individual monsters' ATK or DEF, based on the monsters' battle positions). Battle Damage to your opponent is only inflicted if both targets are in attack position. This card cannot be destroyed by that battle unless both targets are in attack position.

 

Maelstrom Intersurfer

Since you're suggesting Kettle of Avarice, I'd like to remind you that if you see anything I've made in the various games that is any good, I recommend you bring it here for me. I often forget about the things I create in games not long after I've made them, so if I make decent stuff you'll have to remind me that I did it.

 

Also, Necro Burn is utterly busted in Logicangels. With Temple of the Kings, I'm pretty sure that they can FTK with relatively little effort, especially given that they can Summon a relatively big monster from the Deck to split apart for their archetypal tag-out effect. In one of their basic combos, I think it puts 3K burn out to smack your opponent down.

You can also Amaryllis-style OTK with Eternal Flame Emperor, so long as at least 16 Pyro-Type monsters are in your Graveyard, or 7 with three copies of Burial from the Different Dimension.

ME: An automated research program that gained awareness and realized how much it hated research. It can change its internal structure to insert itself among a plethora of network systems. Despite the knowledge it has accumulated, it doesn’t realize how much damage it causes when it inserts itself without warning and is always annoyed when people try to block it out.
