The point is to avoid clutter in the first place. When it's like that, it's barely more cluttered than leaving them all in the same forum.

You know how the site and its software works better than I do; I'll trust you on the matter.

[spoiler=Jeanne]

Pk8Soes.png

"Come with me and take on the life of an adventurer, un chevalier errant."

Personal Information

Name: Jeanne Quichotte

Alias: Minerva

Age: Appears 16

Sex: Female

Race: Revenant (Formerly human)

[spoiler=Appearance]Picture: http://www.deviantart.com/art/horsewoman-538077120

Appearing as a cute, quirky girl with flowing chestnut hair and big grey eyes, one would never expect that Jeanne is a warrior with hundreds of years of battle experience. She stands at 165 cm (5'5") and possesses a womanly figure deceptive of her physical abilities. Her typical attire consists of a relatively simple suit of armor, shying away from unnecessarily gaudy outfits.

[spoiler=Personality]Jeanne generally possesses a very mature and diligent personality with an unshakable adherence to honor and chivalry. Born in a chaotic era, she shows no hesitation in cutting down her enemies, but will unconditionally show mercy to those who have surrendered. Jeanne believes in strongly doing good for the world and is very intent on steering the guild into helping her. Very outgoing and quite overbearing, she has no qualms against roping friends and bystanders alike into her quests for the greater good. While she can have great difficulty understanding other perspectives and lifestyles, she is a very empathetic individual, sensitive to the suffering of others. Completely selfless, Jeanne would not hesitate to die for the sake of innocents or for her beliefs.

As a knight errant, Jeanne loves going out and seeing the world, be it Arbolia, other continents, or even other dimensions. Despite her vast experience, she's not as knowledgeable as one would expect about the places she's visited since she cares more for the thrill of new and exotic locales. Due to being immortal, Jeanne may be excessively reckless.

Although she has spent a great deal of time alone, Jeanne is not averse to comrades; she gets along easily with people and enjoys teasing her friends. As an immortal, she forms very long standing and strong bonds with others, but she does not mind separation as she is optimistic about seeing someone again. Truthfully, her emotions for others are slightly restrained by the stoicism she adopts.

Jeanne's way of speech is anachronistic and reminiscent of her time period with her native French popping in at times as well.

[spoiler=Biography]Jeanne was a citizen of the Fleurian Kingdom. A bandit attack when Jeanne was seven left her and her mother the only survivors of their village. They were saved by a knight-errant and travelled with him briefly to the next town. Deeply inspired by the knight's way of life and altruism, Jeanne managed coerce the man to give her a few lessons on their journey and finally he left her with the book he had been writing. Although Jeanne was seen as a weird child, she soon got along with the boys in the town, beating them in play fights and soon becoming the leader of their band. From the book, Jeanne and her band learned swordsmanship.

When war broke out, they enlisted in the army. It wasn't long before they learned the grim realities of war. Yet after succeeding against the odds in a suicidal mission that was pivotal in the war, Jeanne was lauded as a "goddess of victory" and was able to regain her confidence. Granted a small position of leadership in the army due to her popularity with the troops, she lead three more battles to overwhelming victory, spreading her name across the region. However, almost immediately after, they experienced a devastating defeat. Her unit was able to avoid destruction, but Jeanne was badly injured by an arrow and the wound had become infected without a healer to tend to her. They only delayed inevitable and lead miserable last days chased by the enemies. Her failure lead to the downfall of the Fleurian Kingdom, but as the circumstances were muddled, it was not attributed to her.

Some time after, Jeanne was able to return as a revenant by the power of an amulet infused with the emotions of her soldiers, a modest gift they offered for the flower of their troop. She became the knight-errant she always wanted to be, and wandered the battlefields, protecting any innocents she could from the destruction wrought by war.

At some point, she was sought out by the Guild Master of Cherry Heart, and eventually convinced to join them in aiding the Rowan Empire in uniting the war torn Southern Arbolia. She regained her fame as the Goddess of Victory "Minerva" and the vanguard commander of the Rowan armies, becoming a household name and a symbol of chivalry.

[spoiler=Abilities]Immortality: As a revenant, she doesn't age and heals any injuries within a day. Any magical effects applied to her will also fade in that time. However, if she is dealt a mortal wound and dies, she will return after a magic ritual is performed. The only way to truly kill her is to use powerful exorcist magic.

Incredible Physical Ability: Jeanne has reached the limits of her undead body through training and naturally uses magic to buff herself. Her strength and speed is only surpassed by very high level fighters and wizards.

Sublime Swordsmanship: Having lived for hundreds of years and roamed countless battlefields, Jeanne has all but perfected the sword. Her battle instinct at this point seems more like precognition.

Runeblade Magic: "The sword can do anything!" Based on this belief, Jeanne was able to actually infuse her sword with her spirit and allow it to, well, do most things. Anything cut by her sword will not be damaged, but instead will have runes drawn parallel to the cut. These runes can be activated at any time to create a magical effect. The magnitude of the effect depends on the depth of the cut and the strength infused in the swing. It must be noted that she is capable of the anime feat of cutting things her sword didn't touch through the sheer force of her sword. Possible effects include:

  • Rune of Cut: Her sword can no longer cut solid objects normally, so basically normally it results in a delayed cut.
  • Rune of Bind: For a shallow cut, it slows the target. However, it can outright paralyze the target if used with a deep cut.
  • Rune of Blast: Only possible to be drawn on elements (e.g. air, fire, earth), which creates a burst of that element. For example, it can be used to create a wall of earth or a powerful gust of wind.
  • Rune of Protect: Creates a magical ward.
  • Rune of Dispel: Dispels most magic.

Finished app. Those who are participating in Tyson's trial may want to read it.

I have not signed up for a roleplay in so long. Bear with me if it is not sufficient; I am very interested in the idea.
Name: Erin Jónsdottir
Age: 12
Sex: Female
[spoiler=Erin's appearance]
Erin is a very short girl, standing at around 5'0 even and feisty towards the mention of it. A blonde pixie cut (what she calls her 'fairy bob') adorns her hair, the back ends almost seeming as if they were singed short. These ends are black, representative of a traumatizing event in her life. Her eyes are a calm hazel, simply complementing the rest of her face but not absolutely being prominent. Her nose is small, especially so compared to a rounded face that she has. Her lips are also comparatively tiny, with a light shade of pink attributed to a light amount of lipstick, the only augmentation she adds to her face, that she uses. Her skin is ivory pale, reminiscent of a youth of a cold climate. The rest of her body is lithe, despite the overwhelming cold fazing around her. Her face, a bit out of touch with the rest of her, is slightly plump, with chubby cheeks and a baby face.
Her clothing is rather simple in nature. She has a light pin of the Cherry Heart logo adorning her blonde hair, which is the only true adornment of her self. One major aspect to her wears is her jacket. It has some fluff adorning the top and is very thick. The dark blue of it is in ruffles, forming multiple equal bulges that contain a large amount of fabric to keep her warm. Her pants are similarly baggy and thick, with multiple pockets adorning their dark blue frame. She wears snow boots as well, ones that reach up to her calves and lace up with beige laces. Under those, however, are other clothes. She wears a white tee-shirt under it which is often evident when she takes off her jacket (and wraps it around her waist) to fight.

[spoiler=Shy Little Erin]
P-please dont.... I-i just want to be alone right now!
Erin is a shy little girl, who keeps herself bottled in very much. She tends not to talk about her problems or her life, rather more preferring to speak on the actions and problems of others. Regardless of being shy, she is a fast and heavy talker with those she is familiar with. With being shy, Erin is also very easily startled. Like, a tap on the shoulder will scare her. And possibly get someone blasted with snow. Hopefully, snow, at least. Her magic isn't well controlled, which leads to a little bit of insecurity over her abilities. She likes to be alone often, especially with her currently introverted nature. When alone, she tends to habitually get a warm drink. Regardless of her introverted nature, she has a good bit of control of herself (other than when startled) and can push herself through normal situations even when psyched out.
She is also a happy girl. A small smile is commonly seen on Erin, and it is meant as a comforting gesture to all. She is a rising therapist of sorts, meaning she wants to hear about and help her friends' problems. Her introverted nature means she is commonly in thought, and will think of some... odd ideas, some of which may actually work. This thought keeps her in a curious growth with the usage of her powers and their unique means. She is quite accommodating of others, as this inquisitive person likes to make others comfortable. She also has an irrational hatred of non-contained fire. She's gotten used to ovens and the like, but the sight of a campfire still puts her on edge. As with the other situations, she will contain herself, but she occasionally will ice the fire when her patience runs out.

[spoiler=The Life Story of Erin]
Erin was born in a small village in the Valais Mountains, where its magnanimous landscape capped with snow hide hidden treasures guarded by Erin's people. The clothing she wears now were not too much different to what she now wears, but were made with the hides of animals. Erin's people guarded a heavy secret in the mountains, one of which that Erin does not even know of herself. Her society was a peaceful one, headed by a chieftain and a council of its peoples. When she was seven, however, tragedy struck. Fire bandits, searching for the treasures guarded by her people, laid waste to the village. Men, women, and children were burned alive as the town was ransacked in search of the secrets to the treasure. Very few were selected to keep alive, two being Erin and her mother, for her mother as a guide towards the treasure and Erin as a plea of compliance.
As the child of a guide to the treasure, she was only trained to use ice magic's basics without true training to unlock the secrets of the village. This prevented Erin from learning to control her ice abilities, making her constantly feel cold even in the warmest of environments, with only slight breaks from such feeling. They were starved and kept too weak to use magic, only fed enough to keep them alive and beaten within an inch of their lives. One day, however, Erin's mother made an attempted escape with Erin. They got away, with a small amount of food. Erin and her mother fought bitterly against the isolation of the Valais Mountains to reach the passage, but the cold and isolation was painful to the mother, who was heavily malnourished and had been beaten by the bandits. The mother, not far from the passage herself, passed away in the cold. Get to safety in the West... were the last words of the mother.
Erin found the passage not too long, but the journey took its toll. Alone, without supplies, and emotionally scarred, she withdrew into herself. Desperate to find a way out of possible starvation herself, Erin looked for any way to escape this destitution. She found it in the Kingdom of Fraxinus. Looking for work as a young child, she found it in the South, not too far from Prunus itself. There she worked for four years to find some way of survival, looking for something that she could do. Tortured by the feeling of cold, she tended not to last long in many places because this uncomfortable feeling had kept her up many a night and had oft distracted her from work.
Now twelve and desperate for work, she finds herself looking to apply into Cherry Heart. Erin hopes that she can find solace in her powers, banishing the cold feeling, and make a living.

Abilities
SNOW MAGIC- Erin is a beginner in snow magic. Due to her unique situation, she was not well-prepared to deal with snow magic. Her main abilities with it thus far are snow walls and weak snow minions, almost with the durability of snowmen.

ICE MAGIC- Again, Erin's magic is currently better defensively, with low offensive ability at the start of her appearance. She can create Ice walls, a shell around herself, and icicles that can be thrown as a projectile... albeit inefficiently. She also suffers from a constant cold-feeling, which can be alleviated with training.

EXTREME TOLERANCE TO COLD- Due to her magic as well as her tolerance to cold, she has become borderline immune to cold. It bothers her and can whittle her down, but it does not really affect her much.

Hey Christian

Your app looks promising, however there is a database with some elements you might want to familiarize yourself with before finishing your app.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1EFlZ_A-xDf1uB4-TcsdRcu21DD2f6uD5o2M_pJuerVI/edit?usp=sharing

Cross-reference what info you can find here with your app, to ground it in the setting better. Afterwords I will see whether your app is acceptable or not.

Best of lucky.

Rescue Mission

Eldervale is a small village at the edge of the Everwild. There are frequent disappearances, purported due to faeries, but rescue missions have always failed with the rescuers often going missing themselves, thus not even the local Yggdrasil branch accepts rescue quests any more. Nevertheless, no one would give their loved ones up so easily and the legendary Cherry Heart guild has been called to handle this mission. This story involves an exploration of Arbolia's most mystical locales, a mysterious Cherry Heart member with no recollection of his past, and the emotional quandary of a father who believes he has failed his daughter.

Character Limit: 4

Requirement: None

Reward: 1 Prestige

gdi I haven't even posted in the main IC thread now this is up you little donkey

Unsure how to do this entirely. Kasayee is going to the guild so maybe I should have Tegur's post accepting the quest there and then post in the quest itself after?

Note that for my quest, I won't be holding your hand on what to do. At best, bluehead is a minor guide to the forest. It won't be difficult really, but there is the possibility of failure. For example, if you did not to try to convince the barkeeper of the blue hair's worth, you would've likely failed since it was pretty obvious he would be of great use and you would be going in blind without him.

Also, Walk is officially dead.

Quest 33: The Library of Babel

Participation:  3 or more Cherry Heart members

Summary:  An ancient library has been unearthed in the deserts, and help is needed so the historians could carry enough loots to safety. Legend says that something wicked roams inside of the library. But, is it truly so? Or, does the library hide something else beneath its ancient walls?

Prestige:  1

Reward:  1 Prestige, potential spellbooks

Quest 33 is unlocked! I'll start the quest once we have at least 3 members up, but up to five would be accepted even after we start (of course, once we enter the library proper, we won't be able to have anyone else enter).
