[MTG] Greyfur Krasis [Written] (Teach me magic because i have no idea what the f*** I'm doing)

Snatch Steal

Recommended Posts

Greyfur Krasis

{1}{g}{u}

Creature - Wolf Mutant

Evolve (Whenever a creature you control enters play with power or toughness greater than Greyfur Krasis's, put one +1/+1 counter on Greyfur Krasis)

Hexproof (This creature can't be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control.)

3/1

This is a simple card made to support Blue/Green Evolve Beatdown (which is one of like three decks I have ever played and so far my favorite)

This is a call for help.

Edits: Added Creature Type and italicized reminder text

The design is simple and effective, the only issue is that haste is a tertiary mechanic in green and not part of blues color pie at all. The only time you'll really see haste on a green creature is if it's mono green.

Is this a law or a flavor? If it's not a requirement, I'd like to keep it, but if the case is that blue can never have haste, then I can change it.

It's not really law. It's more of a guideline for each color. Colors can take things that aren't usually in their color pie if it ties into the flavour of your set and the mechanics are uniform among your cards. Blue for example can't have haste, it's not in it's color pie at all. But a U/R creature can have haste as haste is a primary mechanic for red.

Green rarely gets haste, but it's still in it's color.

Well then I suppose I'll edit it.

Burn effects aren't in blue or green's color pie anymore either.

I'd replace the damage effect with Hexproof. Then it would compare to Sacred Wolf but requires blue and also has evolve. Seems like a decent trade.

This gives a basic explanation of the color pie and provides links to basic explanations of each color.
