Wouldn't work with Sanctuary as a LIGHT either since it's not a Fairy anyway. Still, sucks that you deliberately put stepping stones on your cards.

During each of your End Phases, destroy this card unless you send 1 "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" from your hand to the GY or reveal 1 EARTH, FIRE, WATER or WIND monster in your hand. While this card is linked to only EARTH, FIRE, WATER or WIND monsters, the effects of DARK and LIGHT monsters are negated. (Quick Effect): You can Tribute 1 "Koa'ki Meiru" monster you control; Special Summon from your Deck 1 monster with the same Attribute or Type as that monster, except a DARK or LIGHT monster, and whose ATK is equal or lower than the original ATK of that monster. That monster cannot attack. You can only use this effect of "Koa'ki Meiru powerload" once per turn.

 

 

Really wanted to go for summoning a monster from the ED instead, but Superheavy Samurai Steam Train King had to be a thing >.>

Still, I guess it's for the best, for futureproofing and whatnot.

Pendulum Lore: If a "Magical Musket" monster is in this card's column: You can Special Summon 1 "Magical Musket" monster from your hand, and if you do, you can Set 1 "Magical Musket" Spell/Trap from your Deck. You can only use this effect of "Magical Musket Forger Wolfsglen" once per turn. You can Tribute monsters you control or in your hand whose total Levels equal 6 or more, then Ritual Summon this card from the Pendulum Zone. 

 

Lore: Must be Ritual Summoned with its Pendulum Effect. During either player's turn, you can activate "Magical Musket" Spell/Trap Cards from your hand. Your opponent cannot target "Magical Musket" cards you control with their card effects. If the effect of a monster is activated, except a "Magical Musket" monster (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 card from either player's hand until the 2nd End Phase after activation, and if you do, your opponent cannot activate cards with the same card type (Monster, Spell or Trap) as that banished card for the rest of the turn, except in this card's column, then you can return this card to the hand. Might be decent enough, eh?

Machina Reactor

EARTH - Level 7 - Machine/Effect - 2700/0

If this card is sent from your hand or field to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard (you can only activate this effect of this card's name once per turn). Monsters that have not battled successfully (including damage calculation) cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon, or used as Material for the Summon of a monster from the Extra Deck. If this card destroys your opponent's monster by battle, you can target 1 "Machina" monster in your Graveyard: Either add that target to your hand, or Special Summon it. While you control another "Machina" monster, this card can make up to 2 attacks during each Battle Phase.

 

Combine this with Rampart from the other page, and this becomes a first-turn option for Machina that starts putting in work setting up your plays on later turns. Against certain Decks, you practically get an instant win, what with most ED spam Decks not typically running something that can get over this. This is the evolution of the Machina Gadget playstyle- outpacing your opponent's resource game with big boys and the grind game- adding in some stun to make said style more effective.

 

In Machina, you're typically bringing this out with Cannon or Fortress's discard effects, and in a combo with Fortress you can make Flare Metal and maybe a Link (if you had things to revive that were either big enough or had enough of the way cleared for them to battle) in MP2. So there's that.

 

Also, requiring successfully reaching damage prevents cheese like Bull Blader from becoming free Material that also removes things. You are still allowed to negate the damage with things like Kuriboh and Waboku, but literally no one is going to do that in a competitive setting. This is also potentially giving relevance to things that cannot be destroyed by battle, but most of those are kinda slow.

If this card is Normal Summoned, and "Golden Castle of Stromberg" is face-up on the field, you can declare a Card Type (Monster, Spell, Trap); draw 1 card from your deck and reveal it, and if it is the declared type, you can add 1 card from your deck that lists "Golden Castle of Stromberg" in its card text to your hand. Otherwise, send it to the GY. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster that lists "Golden Castle of Stromberg" in its card text from your Deck.

I'm not sure what they need, so I gave them a minor draw and search power.

- Your Opponent's Turn: Target up to 3 monsters your opponent controls: change them to attack position, also they must attack this turn if able.  If you control "Dark Magician Girl": you can Special Summon 1 "Magician Girl" monster from your hand or GY.

If you control no cards, you can activate this card from your hand. You can only activate 1 "Scrap Detector" per turn.
 
Prolly too much, but hey its Scrap, they're the "destroy into Gravescoop that somehow doesn't put together a proper board considering what Summon Chimera comes in on'.dek, they're fine.
