Malefic Reverse Gear

DARK - Level 2 - Machine/Tuner/Effect - 1000/1000

This monster is treated as "Malefic Parallel Gear" on the field. When this monster is Normal or Special Summoned, you can activate 1 "Malefic World" from your Deck or Graveyard. If a "Malefic" monster you control is destroyed, except by its own effect, you can Special Summon the monster listed in its card text from your Banished Zone, with its ATK doubled (this can be treated as a Fusion or Synchro Summon).

Lore: Send a number of cards your opponent controls to the Graveyard, equal to the number of Toon monsters you control. If you control a "Toon Dark Magician" monster, banish those cards instead. You can banish this card from your Graveyard: Special Summon 2 Level 6 or 7 Toon monsters (1 from your hand and 1 from your Graveyard), ignoring their Summoning conditions. You can only use 1 "Dark Burning Toon Magic" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

 

 

 

Now how's about a little more love for the equip-happy Archetype known as....

  • Add 1 "Vylon" Spell/Trap card from your Deck to your hand.

If this monster is Normal or Special Summoned, you can send 1 "Gusto" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard and increase or decrease the Level of 1 face-up "Gusto" monster you control by 1. If this monster is sent to the Graveyard, you can shuffle this monster from your Graveyard into your Deck: Special Summon 1 Psychic-Type "Gusto" monster from your Graveyard.

 

I worded the first effect in such a way that Gusto "when" effects don't miss timing from it.

EARTH - Level 4 - Rock/Flip/Effect - 800/2000

FLIP: Target 1 card your opponent controls and return it to its original owner's hand.

During your Main Phase, you can flip this monster into face-down Defense Position. If this monster is destroyed, you can Special Summon 1 "Sphinx" monster from your Deck in face-down Defense Position.

 

Yes, this can bring out the Pyramid of Light Sphinxes, but it's more notable in its support towards Criosphinx, Heiracosphinx, and Guardian Sphinx. This also means that the latter is the most searchable card in your Deck.

Yeah, this boils down to a Soul Charge/Rekindling, but Watts are tame enough that they can get this kind of stuff without going overboard.

Can't find unplumbed ground within an Archetype hyped as more than it turned out to be (coughTriamidscough)? Add some draw. And if that's been tackled (hackwheezeMechaPhantomBeastMegaraptorhuffpuff)? Add MOAR draw.
