When this card is destroyed by battle or by card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 Level 6 or lower Reptile-Type or Sea Serpent-Type monster. When you inflict battle damage to your opponent with a Reptile-Type or Sea Serpent-Type monster you control while this card is in your Graveyard: Inflict an additional 500 damage to your opponent.

 

[spoiler=Design Notes]I wanted to approach this differently in how it supported both Reptiles and Sea Serpents, but unfortunately with the existence of Mermail-Atlantean being the OTK machine that it is... I had to scrap the idea. But, any who I think it is about time I added more stuff to the Wyrm cardpool even if this doesn't directly help them. I also wanted to experiment with some "while in Graveyard" wording, and I feel like I approached it the way I wanted to which was to make your Reptiles or Sea Serpents hit harder. Lastly, I think their should be more floaters that do something a little extra within reasoning though of course.

 

 

[spoiler=Concept]So without the card art one probably wouldn't be able to guess the concept very well without looking at what its effect hints: this idea is based on the Coral Snake ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coral_snake ). My reasoning behind its effect that Coral Snakes could be distinguished as Sea Serpents in that they are snakes that can be at sea, and they are definitely Reptiles. As for the additional damage effect and how it was named, I wanted to incorporate the Coral Snakes fatal venom in the mix.

 

[spoiler=Tips]There are quite few ways to get this guy out:

One is through the Jigabyte thanks to its stats of 1500 ATK and 200 DEF.

Also, through Unmasked Dragon thanks to its Wyrm Typing.

 

An important thing to note is that its "While in Graveyard effect" stacks. So if you manage to get 3 of these guys into the Graveyard you will be inflicting an additional 1500 damage per battle damage via Reptile or Sea Serpent monsters.
