Susie Posted June 14, 2016 Report Share Posted June 14, 2016 Yeah personally not the biggest fan of Deadmau5 at all, havent been much into his work at all besides Get Scraped but if these tracks are what to expect from his newest release then id be on board. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EF_p2U_mlYoPersonally im much more tuned towards Snowcone since I like that chilled downtempo Boards of Canada style though if the rest of the album sounds more like Cat Thruster then id still be okay too, I dig the raw analog saw wave sound over the cleanly produced pluck sound thats been overkilled by every Prog House artist. Very deadmau5, relying heavily on constant loops and repetition, but the chord progression and various sampling keep it fresh throughout, unlike much of his music which gets stale after a few bars. I really like its atmosphere, got a nice chill vibe to it. Will probably add this to my ambient bus music lineup. I will listen to the other track at some point in the future.
