Thank god(s). I've seen the same deal pushed repeatedly, and shot down each time. There's no time for a new draft, the old draft is something nobody wants, and it's 1 billion pounds for each month of delay paid out to the EU. Why are they delaying a hard brexit again?

Bloomberg: EU Gives Theresa May Another Two Weeks to Avoid a No-Deal Brexit.

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-03-21/eu-hands-may-brexit-reprieve-pushing-decision-day-back-to-april

Here is the gist, it is an initial two week extension to allow May to push her deal once more. Depending on the result, one of two additional extensions may/will happen.

This is lovely, the House of Commons passed an Amendment that would allow a series of Indictive Votes to take place to decide what kind of Brexit they would back. Interesting development. In essence, the House and not the Government are in charge.

There's also a petition going round to revoke article 50 that has 2.2 million signatories thus far, but that number is completely irrelevant.

Know how many people voted for Brexit the first time? Yeah it's a total meme number. There will be hell to pay for the Tories if they funk up on this, and what about the pro-brexit labor seats?

We'll just have to see what will happen with the indicative votes seeing as MPs voted to take control.

Spelling it Labour

What is it about drinking Tea that makes people think they need to be hip about these things

Are they all from the EU?

Point still stands, people are all moon eyed about 1M people showing up for the woman's march. Cute, pales when you realize how many people voted for Trump

Over here it IS spelled Labour. I can't help correcting spellings of words (even words who have different spelling across the pond), and if you have got a problem with that, then it's a you problem.

Can't Parliament do anything right? Given the option to choose something, they choose nothing? I'm dumbfounded tbh.

J R-M said he could also back the deal, and has said he would do so if the DUP abstained

Apparently not it seems, hence it comes to no surprise that SNP's Westminster Leader wants to see a general election called.

DUP said they won't abstain, so good luck getting the Deal through. And at this point, a General Election may be necessary. If only to get a stable majority to get something done.

I know the DUP won't abstain, it was simply a scenario that could get the deal though (albeit really unlikely). I also think a General Election is likely necessary given the stalemate that the indicative votes had garnered this evening.
