Rank 2 WATER Aqua-Type Xyz Effect Monster
ATK 2200
DEF 0
Materials: 2 Level 2 Aqua-Type Monsters
(1) During the Standby Phase: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon 1 “Frog” monster from your Deck, except “Frog the Jam”.
(2) Once per turn, if your opponent activates a Spell Card, Trap Card, or monster effect: You can send 1 Aqua-Type monster you control or in your hand to the Graveyard; negate that activation and destroy that card. Afterwards, you can Set the destroyed card on your side of the field. (This is a Quick Effect)
(3) If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 WATER monster in your Graveyard; add that monster to your hand.

Oh my. Negates anything with a random ronintoadin and takes whatever it negated, including monsters.

The card art is funny to note that it resembles a cupcake, but to the main point, this card is a good support for frogs, since it has pretty potent effects,

the first one allows you to summon any "Frog" almost instantly, effective for swarming

The second effect is all-useful, considering you lose almost no cards at all, and its main kicker, it negates any effect for a single cost, but sets the destroyed card in your field, convenient....

The third one is recycling power

And it has a high attack for a rank 2 monster, 2200 is no cake...

Majespecter Frog ... jokes aside this card is fantastic support for frog decks, especially for the fact ronin can spamm this and sky cavalry, this is further supported by its soft OPT clause and decent stats, not to mention it can summon that 2k def floater which prevents other frogs from getting attacked.

1st effect is kind of slow. Who's to say it will even be here during the next Standby Phase?

Second effect is slow, as it doesn't state "during either player's turn" (unless it's implied).

And the last effect is meh. At least you can add back the materials or Xyz if you wanted to.

It is a trigger effect (right ?), so it should be able to be used during the opponent's turn, as for the first eff ... it does not specify your standby phase, so it is not that slow. Nvm the second effect even states that it is quick, so it does not matter.

one of the most interesting parts of this guy is that he doesn't need material to negate anything, so if you can constantly keep reviving your treatoads from the graveyard you're going to get a lot of negation power, and floating power

card is actually nuts

if swap frog is not in the next ots pack as a super imma cry

Oh. Yeah; this wouldn't be worth running.

Though, I can see the joke now.

Is it possible for you to make posts that add something to conversation, instead of simply reiterating or making blanket statements? You're hardly the worst, but you do it the most.

If a deck that can fairly easily summon this, bad deck or not, can make it, why would this not be worth it?

Ice Barriers, surely, aren't worth running, but if you can realistically 2x2 L2 Aqua, this is worth it.
